Serial Killers were rare to open up and consult on cases, let alone allowed to touch the files themselves, but after a book deal with one of the BAU's own, she had become an asset to him and the team. In return she was closer to freedom than she had been, even before the murders she committed. Dr. Victoria Grant, Serial Killer, and current prison inmate is a consultant to the BAU.

Criminal Minds! Focus is more on character development than BAU cases. People will fall in love with each other, but I'm taking it slow, starting with a strong JJ/Emily friendship. All season 3 main characters will be present. Rating may go up later, but for now it's equal to what you'd see on the show. Takes place after Miami in Season 3, when JJ's relationship with Will is outed.

Season 14 of Criminal Minds gave us a crazy little episode called "Truth or Dare", which Jemily shippers will remember well. A pause in a scene gave me so much hope and then the writers took it elsewhere. This is where I think the episode should have gone and what should have come afterward. This is obviously Jemily, not a slow burn, and a lot more fluff than angst. For once.

"No, no way" Emily protested, not even looking up from her computer. "What do you mean no way?" JJ asked, mildly offended by how dismissive her boss was being. "No way as in no one would ever believe it" Emily responded, now moving various pieces of paper around her desk attempting to look focused. The blonde stepped towards the desk and placed both her hands down on the papers.

JJ is having nightmares about her sister's suicide and worries that it may be a warning. Everyone is dealing with something and JJ's worries are taking her over. This story was inspired by the song Self Conclusion by The Spill Canvas. It's a beautiful song. Includes all core characters and will eventually be JJ/Emily. Rated T for now, may change later.

A child Emily Prentiss lives close to starts coming to her to get away from her abusive home. What happens when Emily finds out about what goes on behind closed doors? Read to find out. Rated M for future chapters.
