Following an unexpected event, Rick Flicker is forced to go live in Peach Creek with his uncle. It's in this remote area that he will meet a whole bunch of colorful residents. Unfortunately, things get pretty disturbing when the local bullies set their sights on him. Rick will have to do everything he can to prevent the situation from getting out of hand. And it won't be easy...

Briefly, he zoned back into the conversation. Later, he would think back on it with a wry little smile; how was it a trivial discussion like that caused the existential crisis that altered his life and- possibly- his very core?
