A modern retelling of Amy and Laurie

Amy and Laurie are both artists, but they are also each other's muses. They couldn't help it, though. All of their lives they had been drawn to beauty, so it's only natural that it happened. Mix that with a bit of sexy time in Valrosa and you get this fic!

This is a short retelling of how I wished the Jo & Laurie proposal scene went. Spoiler: they leave together in my version.

As the distance between their bodies increased it caused a deep cold, much like that of an icicle of raw terror to slide down Jo's spine. She wouldn't be exaggerating to compare it to a cosmic shift- a crack in her foundation. Suddenly, everything felt exceedingly wrong. This feeling startled her into action.

How do I summarize this? It's Amy and Laurie enjoying bedroom time with roleplay! Modern AU but with a bit of period references ;)
