One day, Link discovers a helmaroc, a rare sight in Hyrule. Finding it injured, he takes it home to care for it. That night, the bird turns into a woman who suffers from amnesia. Link offers to help her, and the two set off on an adventure to find answers. Along their journey, they hear news that Princess Zelda was killed by Ganondorf, who plans to attack Hyrule in the near future.
