Hello and welcome to another installment of RWBY Across the Multiverse. As you've all guessed, we're heading into Power Rangers territory. But which one is it? Well, you'll just have to see for yourself. But first...

Now, let's get to it.
Summer Rose. The mother of Ruby Rose and step mother of Yang Xaio-Long. Years ago, Summer disappeared on a mission and was presumed dead. There was truth in that statement. Summer was indeed killed... by Salem. Summer's death affected many. Her daughters, husband, brother-in-law and many others.
However, thanks to Blaze, Summer lives again. The young god had just finished informing Summer of everything that has happened in Remnant since her death. As well as the fact that she was now in the presence of a god who was showing her daughters the multiverse. Well... not so much tell and more like downloaded the information into her head. Resulting in a massive headache.
"Ow..." Summer groans as she holds her head. After a moment, she looks up and gives a slight glare at Blaze. "You could've warned me."
"Sorry." Blaze says. "But it would've taken too long to explain everything to you. The headache should vanish in a few minutes."
Summer sighs as she shakes her head. "So, I've been dead for more than a decade, my daughters became huntresses and have been through a lot, Ozpin was keeping more secrets than what he told us, my daughters and their friends are now being forced to watch alternate versions of themselves by a literal god and I've been brought back to life. Did I miss anything?"
"No, that pretty much sums it up." Blaze says.
"Question." Summer says.
"Hm?" Blaze replies.
"Not that I'm unhappy to be brought back, but what's to stop Salem from killing me again?" Summer asks.
"Oh, you don't have to worry." Blaze says dismissively. "Violence is forbidden here. Any attempts result in a barrier to the face. There's no doubt in my mind that Salem will try to attack you in a fit of rage. She'll momentarily forget about my rule and be painfully rejected."
Summer raises and eyebrow. "You sound like you enjoy seeing Salem in pain."
Blaze gives Summer a dry look. "You saw the things she's done. What did you expect?"
"...Fair point." Summer says after a pause. "But why bring Salem here in the first place? What exactly is your goal? There's more to just showing everyone other versions of themselves, isn't there?"
Blaze grins at Summer. "I'm afraid that would be telling."
Summer pouts at Blaze, earning her a chuckle from the young god. Blaze then holds his hand out to Summer.
"Now, ready to see your daughters again?" Blaze asks.
Summer looks at Blazes hand. After a moment, she smiles before taking the young gods offered hand.
While Blaze was with his other guest, the other Remnantians are lounging around the theater. Ruby is currently in the bathroom, Weiss is watching Penny experiment with her new Microfilament Wires, Yang is lazing about with her feet propped against the seat in front of her, Blake is reading (Duh), Jaune and Pyrrha are catching up on things and Oscar looks to be having a conversation with Ozpin.
As for the rouges, both Cinder and Salem are waiting for Blaze to continue this (in their minds) farce while Neo and Roman are playing cards.
Ruby comes out the bathroom. "Hey guys, the toilet paper had my fortune on it."
"What did it say?" Yang asks.
"You will be reunited with a loved one." Ruby says as she takes her seat. She then hums to herself. "Wonder what it means?"
The group is taken from their conversations as Blaze walks back into the theater.
"Alright, I'm back." Blaze says. He then grins as he steps to the side. "And I've brought a surprise."
From out of the shadows steps a familiar figure to Ruby and Yang. Summer Rose. Ruby, Yang and Ozpin (who took control upon seeing his former student) freezes in shock. Ruby takes a step towards her mother.
"M-mom...?" Ruby asks shakily.
Summer gives Ruby and Yang a smile. "You've grown up, Ruby, Yang."
Before the Rose-Xiao-Long family can truly reunite, a monstrous feminine roar is heard. Suddenly, a black blur races towards Summer. Only to be repelled by a barrier. The figure is launched back, but skids on the ground. Revealing an enraged Salem.
"You...!" Salem seethes.
Blaze leans his head towards Summer with a knowing look as Ruby and Yang place themselves in front of their mother. The two daughters glare defiantly at the Black Queen.
"Told you so." Blaze says.
Salem turns her glare at Blaze. "Why did you revive her?!"
"Seriously?" Blaze asks with a deadpan. "Is it so wrong for me to reunite a broken family? A family broken by your hands I might add."
Salem growls at Blaze, who is unaffected.
"Growl all you want, it won't change a thing." Blaze says while crossing his arms. "Remember. In this space, you can't touch me, Summer or anyone else here. So, I suggest you calm down and take your seat. We still have a lot of universes to go through."
Salem continues to glare at Blaze who remains unfazed. After a few moments, the Grimm Queen closes her eyes and calms down. She gives an unreadable stare at Blaze and Summer before returning to her seat.
Blaze nods his head. "Good. Now, I need to get the next showing ready. Summer, why don't you get reacquainted with your daughters until I get back?"
Blaze looks to the side before flash stepping out of the theater. Leaving the once broken family alone with the others.
"Is it... really you?" Yang asks hesitantly.
"It's really me, Yang." Summer says. She then examines Yang. "Look at you, you've gotten so beautiful."
Summer eyes Yang's prosthetic arm but doesn't comment on it. The elder Rose is then tackled by Ruby, who hugs her mother while sobbing slightly. Summer gives her daughter a sad smile as she hugs her.
"It's okay sweetie." Summer says soothingly. "Mommy's here."
That was all the incentive for Yang to join in on the hug fest with tears in her eyes. Ruby and Yang's friends smile at the family reunion.
"So that's Red's mom, huh?" Roman asks. "I can definitely see the resemblance."
Neo simply nods at Roman's comment.
Once the hug fest was done, Summer singles out Oscar, who was trying to look every other way but hers. The elder Rose knew that Ozpin had taken over and was clearly conflicted on how to approach her. Summer gestures for her daughters to step aside before walking towards Ozpin. Upon her approach, the old wizard knows that he can't avoid his old student.
"It's been a long time, professor." Summer says.
Ozpin stays silent as he contemplates how to respond.
"I-" Ozpin says.
Summer raises her hand, interrupting her old headmaster. She then closes her eyes before taking a breath. Summer than smiles as she opens her eyes.
"I don't blame you for what happened, professor." Summer says. "There's no way you could've known."
Ozpin stands in shock at Summer's comment before he frowns.
"Even so, my action caused you to miss over ten years of your daughter's lives." Ozpin says solemnly. "...Your death was one of my biggest blunders. I do not expect you to forgive me, just know that I am sorry."
Summer pats Ozpin's shoulder. Causing the wizard to look at his former student.
"All water under the bridge." Summer says.
Summer's comment causes Ozpin to give a small smile. Happy to know that even after all this time, Summer still had her pure soul. Salem watches her former husband and enemies interaction witch a small scowl. Cinder, noticing her mistresses mood, wisely remains silent. Ruby and Yang introduce their mother to their friends, who welcome Summer.
With the elder Rose added to the group, team RWBY changes their seating arrangements. Summer sat in-between Ruby and Yang while Weiss and Penny sit in the seats next to Ruby. Blake retained her spot next to Yang with Oscar retaining his spot with Jaune and Pyrrha. The villains kept their spots with Blaze's seat still being on Neo's right. Said god suddenly reappears in his seat.
"Alright." Blaze says. "Let's begin with universe two."
"This next universe isn't like the Hellsing universe, right?" Ruby tentatively asks.
"Don't worry." Blaze says. "Compared to Hellsing, this universe is pretty tame. And here we go!"
Words appear from the bottom of the screen as they slowly rise to the top, vanishing.
"Centuries ago, a legendary interdimensional being known as OZMA came to the city of Vale to establish a command center for his never-ending struggle against evil.
With the aid of his trusted assistant, Penny, the noble master sought out six extraordinary teenagers and gave them the power to transform into a superhuman fighting force. In time of great need, the young heroes could use their powers to call upon colossal assault vehicles known as ZORDS.
The identity of the six remained a guarded secret. Today, that tradition continues..."
"Much like the Hellsing universe, there's no Huntsman to keep the peace." Blaze says. "However, there are people who are given special powers and weapons to defend their world from evil. The Power Rangers."
"Power Rangers?" Weiss asks. "Odd name."
"It might be odd, but the Power Rangers are famous in their universe." Blaze says. "There are some moments where the rangers lose their powers, but a new generations is always ready to pick up where the others left off."
"So, the Power Rangers are basically superheroes?" Ruby asks with barley contained glee.
"Yep." Blaze says while popping the p.
Ruby squeals in her seat. Summer looks at her daughter fondly.
"So, professor Ozpin and I work together to benefit mankind in this universe." Penny says.
Pyrrha gains a thoughtful expression. "That voice sounded familiar."
High up in the sky, a small plane can be seen flying. Inside the plane are several teenagers wearing skydiving equipment.
"Whoo-hoo!" Ruby says. "Come on. We're out of here."
"Easy, Ruby." Neo says with a smile.
"Alright, guys." Weiss says. "We're 15 seconds to the drop zone."
"Hey look, it's us!" Ruby says while pointing at the screen.
"And we're skydiving?" Yang asks with a grin. "Awesome!"
Blake looks at Blaze. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we're the Power Rangers."
"Bingo." Blaze says. "The six of you are skydiving for a charity. You're helping to raise money for an observatory on the verge of closing."
"Well, that's nice of you girls." Summer says with a smile.
"Huh." Neo thinks. "So, I'm on their side in this universe."
Oscar looks closely at one of the girls. "Hey, who's that blonde girl behind Yang? She kinda looks familiar."
Pyrrha seems to notice the resemblance between the girl on screen and her boyfriend. She then gasps.
"Is that...Jaune!?" Pyrrha exclaims in shock.
"HUH?!" Team RWBY exclaims.
"Actually, that's Jaune's older sister, Jeanne Arc." Blaze says.
"Oh, I thought that was her." Jaune says with a nod. "She's not wearing her glasses though."
Ruby raises an eyebrow. "Wait. Jaune and...Jeanne? You both have the same name."
"Actually, mine is spelt J-A-U-N-E." Jaune says. "Hers is spelt J-E-A-N-N-E."
"What, did you parents run out of names?" Yang asks jokingly.
Jaune facepalms. "...Yes."
"Alright, geeks. The Stealth Cardinal is about to fly."
"Ditto for the Swooping Trussell!"
"Of course Cardin and Russel are in this universe too." Weiss says with a facepalm.
"Yeah, much like your universe, you all go to school together." Blaze says with a chuckle.
Yang gestures for the door. "Well, lead on, flyboys."
Not needing to be told twice, Cardin and Russel open the door of the plane. They look outside... and pale.
"That's a lot of air!" Russel says fearfully.
"After you, Russ." Cardin says.
"What are you, crazy?" Russel asks. "This was your idea."
"Wow, those two are scaredy cats." Yang says while crossing her arms. She then looks towards Blake. "No offense, Blakey."
"None taken." Blake waves off.
"Hey guys." Neo says. The two boys look at her as she points to the parachutes. "You might want to slip those on."
Cardin and Russel look towards each other. "Good idea."
"Safety first." Summer says. "Without Aura, parachutes are a must."
Jeanne checks her watch as she and her friends put on their helmets. "Alright guys. We're 3 seconds away from the target zone. Yang, you're on."
"Oooooh, yeah!" Yang says with a fist pump. "Here comes the Yang!"
The audience groans at Yang's pun.
"God's dang it, Tai." Summer thinks while face-palming.
"Yes." Yang says. She then jumps out of the plane. "Challenge!"
Blake is next to jump out. "On your tail!"
Next up is Jeanne. "Systems go!"
"Bonzai!" Ruby exclaims as she jumps. "Whoo-hoo!"
Next to jump out is Weiss, who has a surfboard with her. Neo looks at Weiss and pats her shoulder.
"Show them your stuff." Neo says with a smile.
"You got it." Weiss says with a nod. She then jumps out the plane. "Surf's up!"
Weiss and Neo glance at one another in confusion.
"Blaze?" Weiss asks. "What is the relationship between me and Neo in this universe?"
Blaze grins. "Well... Actually, the two of you are together. And when I say together, I mean "together together."
Weiss blushes. "Y-y-you mean...?"
Neo stares at Weiss for a few moments before smirking. "Hot."
Roman frowns. Feeling the emotions of a protective parent.
Neo turns to face the screen and gives a thumbs up. "Catch you on the flip side."
Neo backflips out of the plane and joins the rest of her friends as the free fall. Preforming various aerial tricks.
"Oooooh!" Yang says. "What is this music playing called?"
"A group called the Red Hot Chili Peppers." Blaze says. "Which reminds me, the Wi-Fi password is Orion."
Yang and a few others quickly enter the password and start downloading the songs played during the Hellsing universe.
The six teens group together in mid-air and hold each others hands. Laughing as they enjoy themselves.
"Okay guys, let's break." Weiss says.
The six teens break off as they continue free falling. With the ground fast approaching, the teens pull their cords, releasing their parachutes.
"That looked like so much fun." Yang says.
"After everything that's happened, I might try skydiving one day." Jaune says with a small smile.
"At least you've gotten better with your landing strategy." Ruby says.
On the ground, people eagerly enjoy themselves at the fairgrounds. Many are waiting near the target zone.
"With the arrival of Ryan's Comet just two days away, the Vale Jump-a-thon will breathe new life into the old observatory. Tickets to see the comet are available. Now, raise your eyes to the sky folks. Here come the team from Beacon Academy!"
"Ryan's Comet?" Weiss asks.
"A comet that passes the planet every 100 years." Blaze says.
"Cool." Ruby and Summer say with awe.
The crowd cheers as the parachutes of the six teens become visible in the sky. Among the crowd is a young boy and his father.
"Alright, dad. Pay close attention. This is how the pros do it."
"Hey, I didn't do so bad."
"You landed in the parking lot. It was embarrassing."
"Well..."
Oscar blinks once, then twice. "Hazel is my dad in this universe?!"
"Wow, that's a surprise." Jaune says.
"Technically, he's adopted." Blaze says. "Hazel isn't a bad guy here. He wasn't much of a bad guy in this universe. Much like Sienna Khan, Hazel has a shot at reincarnation too. His sister could've gotten it too, but she decided to wait for her brother first."
Oscar smiles. "Good to know Hazel and his sister were able to reunite."
"Yes." Ozpin says. "It is."
One by one, the six teens approached the target zone.
"The first of the team is beginning her final approach. It's Blake! She rounds the turn and she pulls up to hit the target dead center."
"Way to go, Blakey." Yang says with a grin. Making her partner smile.
"Right behind her is skydiver Jeanne, who manages a perfect landing!"
"Nice landing, sis." Jaune says.
"Skydiver number three is Neo. What a landing!"
Neo gives Roman a fist bump.
"Here comes Ruby... who lands right on target!"
"Yes!" Ruby exclaims with her fist in the air.
"And here comes Yang. She makes it a perfect five-out-of-five landing! That ties the record."
"Whoo-hoo!" Yang says. She then looks towards Weiss. "Looks like it's up to you, Weiss."
Neo grins cheekily at Weiss. "Make this one count, love."
Weiss fights down a blush as she stares at the screen.
"It's all up to Weiss Schnee. Can she make it six-for-six?"
"Go, Weiss!" Oscar exclaims.
"Come one, bestie!" Ruby exclaims.
"She's making her final approach. Looks a bit wide, but still okay. Almost to the ground now. Can she do it? ...She does! It's a new city record! Way to go, Weiss!"
"Alright!" The heroes exclaim.
Weiss and Hazel walk to Weiss as she takes off her helmet.
"Nice work up there." Oscar says.
Weiss and Oscar shake hands.
"Thanks." Weiss says. "Maybe next time you can join us."
Oscar's eyes light up. "Really?"
Hazel rolls his eyes. "Yeah, well talk about that, Oscar. In about 10 or twelve years."
Oscar pouts slightly. "Dang."
Hazel shakes Weiss' hand. "Congratulations, Weiss. The observatory just got a new lease on life."
Weiss nods her head in gratitude. "Thank you."
"It's awesome." Oscar says. "Ryan's Comet passes over in two days."
The rest of Weiss' group join their friend.
"We did it." Neo says with a smile.
"That was awesome, Weiss." Jeanne says.
"Cool!" Yang says.
"Thanks, guys. You too." Weiss says with a smile.
Weiss' teammates look towards her as the former heiress blushes from her counterparts praise.
Blake notices that she isn't a Faunus in this universe.
"Hey, has anyone seen Cardin and Russel?" Jeanne asks as she looks to the sky.
"Where did those two go?" Pyrrha asks. "They didn't jump along with the others."
"Junior's is serving free dessert with lunch." Yang says with a grin. "They probably landed on the roof."
The group laughs at Yang's joke.
Junior's?" Yang asks. "He's in this universe too?"
"Yes, but he owns a juice bar in this universe." Blaze says. "It's pretty popular."
[Back on the plane.]
"You guys better hurry up and jump." The pilot says. "We're running out of fuel."
"I gotta be the Cardinal." Cardin says trying to psych himself up. He then puts on his parachute. "I'm gonna be the Cardinal!"
"Be the Trussel!" Russel says, trying and failing to psych himself up while putting on his helmet and parachute. "Be the Trussel."
"Come on!" Cardin says while slinging an arm around Russel.
The two scream as they finally jump out of the plane. Holding each other as the fall.
"Hey, hey, let go of me!" Cardin says.
"I want my mommy!" Russel exclaims with a whine.
The audience chuckles at Cardin and Russel's predicament.
[Scene change to the Rangers rollerblading in the city]
After the Vale Jump-a-thon, the six teens took to there rollerblades as they went into the city. Parkouring along the way.
"This song sounds good." Jaune says. "What is it?"
"Free Ride by Dan Hartman." Blaze says. "It's one of my favorites songs too."
Eventually, the group comes to a construction sight.
"Hey, let's take a shortcut." Weiss says.
"Right behind you." Neo says.
The group takes the side path away from the construction and continues on.
"Not to be a downer or anything, but where's the action?" Yang asks. "I thought we were supposed to be fighting monsters."
"Remember, you're still teenagers." Blaze says. "You have to have balance in your life."
Yang grimaces slightly. "I get it. It's just... with everything that's happened..."
"Say no more." Blaze says with a nod. "I get it. The action is coming. In fact, this is where it begins."
While the Rangers continued on their way, Cardin and Russel land right at the construction sight. Bringing their attention to the workers.
"Hey, this doesn't look like the target landing zone." Russel says. "Where's the free food?"
"Idiot." Cardin says. "All your kicking and screaming threw off the Stealth Cardinal's sense of direction."
"Stealth Cardinal? Hah!" Russel scoffs. "Lame Duck is more like it."
"Morons." Weiss says while shaking her head.
"Hey!" A construction worker exclaims.
Cardin and Russel turn to the worker in alarm.
"Uh-oh." Cardin says in worry.
"What do you guys think you're doing?" The worker asks as he walks to the two boys.
Cardin and Russel look at the construction worker before glancing at each other. Knowing that they aren't suppose to be here, the two boys do the most sensible thing.
"Uh... We're from the Vale building inspector's office." Cardin says.
"Seriously?" The audience deadpans.
"Yeah." Russel says, catching on. "That building's supposed to be over there!"
"And what's that man doing without proper foot protection?" Cardin asks with a slight edge in his voice.
"Who's in charge around here, huh? Russel asks.
The construction worker looks between the two in slight worry. Buying their act. Luckily, he is saved when a co-worker calls out to him.
"Hey, Dave, come and take a look at this." The co-worker says.
Dave looks between Cardin and Russel.
"Go ahead, Dave." Russel says gesturing to Dave's co-worker.
Dave climbs up the hill to meet his co-workers. Leaving Cardin and Russel to sigh in relief. The two then take off their helmets and parachutes.
"Well, that was a close one." Russel says.
"Uh-huh." Cardin says with a smile.
"You hungry?" Russel asks.
"Huh, always." Cardin says.
Roman blinks dumbfoundedly at Cardin and Russel. "I can't believe that worked."
"Me neither." Neo says with wide eyes.
The construction workers crowed around what they've found. Said thing appears to be what looks like a manhole cover with a strange emblem.
Salem perks up after seeing the familiar emblem. She then grins slightly.
"Isn't that...?" Cinder asks.
"Yes." Salem says. "I believe things are about to get interesting."
"What in the world is this?" Dave asks.
"Well, it sure as heck ain't DWP." John says.
"Let's get a crane in here." Dave says.
"How about... you cover the thing back up before you make a mistake?" Blake says incredulously.
"Seriously, do any of you watch movies?" Jaune asks. "That thing doesn't look like it belongs there. Leave it alone!"
"I have a feeling they're about to unleash something horrible." Pyrrha says.
The workers attach a a few hooks to the manhole cover. John gives the okay to lift up the manhole cover once the others are clear. Steam hisses out as an object rises out of the hole. Said object appears to be a black egg held by a metal claw.
"A giant egg?" Yang asks in confusion.
"What's inside it?" Penny asks.
"I don't think I want to find out." Summer says uneasily.
"Incredible..." Dave says in awe. "What do you think it is?"
"No idea." John says.
John steps forward and reaches for the egg. Just before he can come into contact with it, a burst of lightning shoots out of the egg and launches John back!
"Whoa!" The audience, baring Cinder and Salem, exclaims.
"Is he okay?" Jaune asks.
"He just got shot by lightning." Blaze says. "He'll be lucky to even move a finger."
"Put the egg back!" Ruby says. "Put it back!"
John's co-workers gather around him in concern. John looks to be breathing, but unable to move at the moment.
"John, you alright?" Dave asks.
"Does he look alright?" Blaze asks in a deadpan.
[Scene change to the Rangers rollerblading]
"Hey, guys, let's get something to eat." Ruby says.
Suddenly, a tone sounds off. Upon hearing the tone, the girls stop. Weiss looks to her wrist communicator before looking to a nearby area.
"Let's go over there." Weiss says.
The Rangers move to the area away from prying eyes. Weiss then pushes a button on her communicator as the others gather round.
"What is it, Penny?" Weiss asks.
"Rangers, Ozma needs you in the command center." Penny says. "It's urgent."
"We're on our way." Weiss says with a nod.
"Probably because of the egg." Roman says.
The Rangers push a button on their communicators. They then teleport to their command center in multicolored streaks of light.
"Okay, that's cool." Ruby says. Getting a nod from Yang and Summer.
[Scene change to command center]
At the command center, Penny can be seen going frantically checking multiple consoles.
Roman whistles. "Nice place. Very high tech."
"What's with the giant glass pod?" Neo asks.
"Oh dear!" Penny says. "The subtronic interfaces are short-circuiting. I have to find a way to alternate the frequency modulators."
Ruby turns to Penny. "Uh, Penny? What did all that mean?"
"To put it simply, there is a massive energy surge that is affecting the equipment in the command center." Penny says.
The Rangers arrive.
"Penny, what's going on?" Weiss asks.
"A massive surge of evil energy is overloading our sensors." Penny says. "Oh dear."
From within the glass pod, Ozma's face appears.
"GIANT FLOATING HEAD!" Ruby, Yang and Summer exclaim in shock.
"This is as close to the Wizard of Oz as they'll get." Blaze mutters.
"Rangers, you must act swiftly. The planet is in grave danger." Ozma says.
"Danger from what?" Neo asks.
"6,000 years ago, a morphological being known as Salem ruled the world with a reign of unparalleled terror." Ozma says. "She was on the verge of completing construction on her ultimate weapons... the Grimm. Twin machines capable of enslaving the entire universe."
Salem and Cinder smirk.
"Morphological?" Weiss asks in confusion.
"It means Salem can transform herself into anyone." Blaze says. "Even imitate their voice."
"What happened to her?" Ruby asks.
"A group of young warriors like yourselves lured her into a hyperlock chamber and buried her deep underground." Ozma says. "But now the chamber has been accidentally uncovered. You return it to the depths before it is opened and Salem is released."
"Her Grimm machines were buried near the chamber." Penny says. "If Salem escapes, she's sure to find them."
"Use extreme caution, Rangers." Ozma says grimly. "You are dealing with an evil that's beyond all imagination."
The Rangers look amongst themselves in apprehension.
"Lot of pressure to put on a bunch of teenagers, ain't it?" Blaze asks knowingly.
[Scene change to the construction sight]
Night had fallen since Salem's prison was discovered. Two guards were assigned to keep watch over it. However, they are unprepared for what is about to happen.
Suddenly, four red electrical pluses appear near the egg. The energy dissipates to reveal four of Vale's most dangerous enemies. A man who looks like a walking flame, a sorceress, a human-like griffon in gold armor and a humanoid pig.
Cinder blinks. "What am I wearing?"
Blaze glances at Cinder. "In this universe, you're a powerful and evil sorceress. The Rangers have battled you and your monsters for years. The griffon and pig are your lackies. Goldar and Mordant."
"...While I am pleased to hear that, what was my other self thinking with that outfit?" Cinder asks after a pause.
"Who's the walking jack-o-lantern?" Neo asks.
"Believe it or not, that's Roman." Blaze says.
"THAT'S ROMAN?!" The Remnantians, minus the Dandy Man himself, exclaim in shock.
*Picture 2010 Dormammu from the Marvel universe*
"...Huh." Roman says after a pause.
"What do I care about some stupid egg?" Cinder asks.
"This is no ordinary egg." Roman says.
"Well, I say we hard-boil the thing." Cinder says.
"I'm with her, I'm hungry." Mordant says.
Goldar smacks Mordant upside his head. "That's cause your a pig."
Unfortunately for the guards, Roman and his groups arrival tips them off.
"Hey, Curt. Curt. Take a look at this." Guard 1 says urgently.
"Shouldn't you be running?" Oscar asks incredulously.
"No need to wake him." Roman says. He then points his staff at the guards. "In fact, why don't you take a little nap yourself?"
Roman zaps the two guards until the fall unconscious.
"Wow, I'm kind of awesome here." Roman says impressed.
"There's nothing awesome about being a bad guy." Ruby says with a slight glare.
"Meh, some bad guys are actually pretty cool." Blaze says. "I mean haven't you heard of anti-heroes?"
"...He does have a point." Jaune begrudgingly says after a pause.
"Yeah, I could do that." Mordant says. "I just choose not to."
"Lazy good for nothing." Cinder mutters.
"Zip your lip." Goldar says.
Roman approaches the egg. "Ah. After 2,000 years of searching, you are finally within my grasp! And now, let's crack this egg!"
Roman uses his staff to zap the claw on the egg. The claw then opens and the egg splits in two to reveal... black ooze?
"...Well, that's anticlimactic." Yang says. "Guess all those years in that egg didn't do her any good."
"I don't think that's the case." Ozpin says with Oscar nodding in agreement.
"Excellent." Roman says with a smirk.
"Yuck." Mordant says in disgusts.
Cinder sticks her finger in the black ooze. A trail of it hanging on her finger as she lifts it to her face.
"What?" Cinder asks as she flicks the ooze off her finger. "You spent 2,000 years looking for a tub of snot?"
"Patience, motormouth." Roman says. "Watch."
The black ooze begins to shift. It then rises as it forms into a humanoid shape.
"Not good." Pyrrha says with a grimace.
Blake looks towards Roman. "I hope this comes back to bite you."
"Relax kitty, I'm sure I know what I'm doing." Roman says confidently. He then mutters. "I hope."
After a few seconds, the ooze forms into the one Ozma spoke of. Salem.
Salem yawns loudly before cracking her neck on both sides. She then sees the ones who freed her.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Queen is back!" Salem says with a malicious smile.
Salem raises an eyebrow at her counterparts statement.
"She's magnificent." Cinder says in awe.
"Why thank you." Salem says.
"Kissass." Roman, Neo and Blaze mutter.
"I am Roman Torchwick, sworn enemy of all that is good and decent." Roman says. "It is an supreme honor to finally meet you."
"Wow, fanboy much?" Yang asks with a grin.
Roman fumes over his counterparts attitude towards Salem.
"How can I ever repay you?" Salem asks.
"Do you recall the name Ozma of Eltar?" Roman asks.
Salem snarls before raising her hands to the sky. She then yells as her power causes a lightshow in the sky.
"Someone's triggered." Blaze says.
"I think she's heard of him." Mordant says.
Salem reigns in her power but huffs angrily.
"I want you to destroy Ozam, so that my evil may once again reign supreme!" Roman says.
"I will not only destroy him." Salem says. "I will obliterate his entire legacy. It will be as if Ozma of Eltar... never existed!"
"About time someone finally got the job done." Cinder says snidely while glancing at Roman.
Roman recognizes Cinders jab and growls.
Roman growls along with his counterpart.
Salem blows a kiss at Cinder in gratitude.
Cinder blushes slightly as she glances at her master. Said master pays her pawn no mind and continues watching the showing.
"We shall leave you to weave your evil ways." Roman says while Salem nods in understanding. Roman then glances at Cinder. "Let's go, Cinder."
Roman and his group take a few steps away from Salem before leaving in the same manner they arrived in. Leaving Salem alone.
"Tch. Torchwick thinks he can boss me around?" Cinder asks with a scoff while crossing her arms.
Salem sniffs the air. She then frowns.
"What is that odious stench?" Salem asks. She then growls. "It smells like... teenagers..."
"She can smell teenagers?" Blake asks in confusion.
"We must be close." Weiss says. "She smells us."
In streaks of multi-colored light, the Rangers appear at the construction sight. They then look around.
"Anybody see anything?" Yang asks.
Weiss spots something on her right. "Let's look over there."
The Rangers move towards the location Weiss suggested.
Weiss glances at Blaze. "I noticed something. It seems like the Rangers follow my lead."
"That's because your the leader of the Power Rangers in this universe." Blaze says.
Weiss' eyes widen. "...I'm...the leader?"
Ruby nudges Weiss' shoulder with a grin. "Way to go, bestie."
Weiss blushes at her partners praise. She then mutters. "Dolt."
The Rangers find Salems former prison. The smell from it makes them gag.
"Ugh, what is that?" Ruby asks. "It reeks."
Suddenly, someone grabs Weiss' shoulder. "Hey!"
The voice startles the Rangers. They quickly turn around to see... one of the guards rubbing the back of his head.
"It's that guard?" Yang asks. "I thought Roman knocked him out."
Neo narrows her eyes. "Something's not right.
"What are you kids doing here?" The guard asks.
The Rangers uneasily look amongst themselves before looking back at the guard.
"Um, you haven't by any chance seen a morphological being lurking around here?" Neo asks.
"Morphological being?" The guard asks in confusion. "What the heck is that?"
Neo and Penny's eyes suddenly widen in realization. "Oh no!"
"What a second." The guard says. "...Did it look something like this?"
The guard morphs into Salem! The evil witch laughs as the Rangers gasps before taking defensive positions.
"Whoa!" The audience gasps in shock.
"Holy carp!" Yang exclaims.
"I couldn't even tell it was her." Roman says. "She's good."
Salem smirks at her counterpart. "Well played."
"Blimey!" Neo says while narrowing her eyes.
"You're too kind." Salem says. "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm the galactically feared, globally reviled, universally despised... They call me Salem."
"We get it, she's a bad bitch!" Yang says.
"Witch, Yang." Ruby corrects.
"I know what I said!" Yang replies.
"Language, Yang!" Summer admonishes.
"I'm 19, mom." Yang says.
"Sorry, old habits." Summer says with a sigh.
"Well pack your bags cause we're sending you right back where you came from." Ruby says while pointing at Salem.
Salem grins in amusement as she leans towards the Rangers. Said group leans away from the witch.
"My, my." Salem says. "A teenager with a big mouth." Salem leans back. "Not much has changed in 6,000 years."
"You obviously don't know who you're dealing with, ya trollop." Neo boldly declares.
Neo grins at her counterpart's statement. "Nice."
Salem grins while putting her hands on her hips. "Really?"
"That's right." Weiss says. "We're the Power Rangers."
Salem gasps dramatically. "Oh! Where's my autograph book?!"
The heroes pale slightly at Salem's rhetorical question.
"I do not think she is worried." Penny says uneasily.
"Don't forget, Salem has dealt with Ozma for a long time." Blaze says. "She doesn't see the Rangers as a threat."
"Ha!" Salem laughs. "Power Rangers, huh?" Salem takes a few steps away from the Rangers, cutting the caution tape merely by touch. "So, Ozma's still using a bunch of children to do his dirty work." Salem turns sharply towards the Rangers with a malicious smirk. "Well, meet my kids!"
"What did she mean by that?" Ruby asks fearfully.
Salem laughs as she spreads her arms out. Lightning shoots out of the witch's hands as black pools of ooze rises up. The ooze then takes humanoid shapes.
The team RWBY and Oscar's eyes widen in fear at the sight of the monsters.
"What the hell are those things!?" Jaune exclaims in fright.
"Humanoid...Grimm?" Pyrrha asks with wide eyes.
"...The Apathy." Oscar says with a whisper.
Ruby frantically shakes her head. "Not again. Not again!"
Summer holds her daughter in comfort as Yang and the rest of their team grip their armchairs.
"...I'm not sleeping tonight." Roman says with wide eyes.
"That's nightmare fuel that is." Neo says.
The Rangers stare apprehensively at the new enemies as Salem continues to laugh uproariously. After a moment, Salem ceases her laughter.
"From this moment forth, the world as you know shall cease to exist." Salem says. She then gives a psychotic smile. "Welcome to my nightmare! HA HA HA HA!" Salem teleports away in a black streak of light. "Bye-bye, kiddies!"
"Okay, now I'm not sleeping tonight." Summer says with a slight tremble.
"She's gone." Ruby says.
"No shit!" Yang exclaims.
With their master gone, the Apathy eye the Rangers menacingly. The heroes take a few steps back.
"What do we do?" Neo asks.
Jeanne looks behind her and notices an open area. "Looks like there's plenty of room down there."
Weiss narrows her eyes at the Apathy. "Go guys!"
With a yell, Weiss spin kicks the closets Apathy into the ones behind it. With the Apathy distracted, the rest of the Rangers leap down to the open area.
"Nice one, Weiss!" Ruby exclaims.
"Take those guys down!" Yang exclaims.
Weiss goes for a two-hit combo before elbowing a Apathy. She then jumps down to her team.
"Oh yeah, love this song." Blaze says with a grin. "Devo's Are You Ready?! Perfect for this scene."
The Rangers take their stances.
"Let's take these beasts!" Blake says.
"Spread out!" Weiss says.
The Rangers split up as the Apathy leap down to them. Weiss grabs the pole of a nearby shovel and twirls it around before holding it behind her as a group of Apathy surround her.
"Welcome to my nightmare." Weiss says with a glare.
Weiss uses her pole to knock down a few Apathy. She then hits another with an overhead strike before spin kicking one approaching her.
"Heads up!" Weiss says.
The Apathy spins in mid air before falling to the ground.
"So cool!" Ruby gushes.
Weiss smiles at her counterparts display.
"Our you already kicks butt, but Ranger you is awesome!" Yang says.
Nearby, Blake does a mid-air somersault as an Apathy approaches her. She then sees a can near her feet.
"Ever play kick the can?" Blake asks.
Blake kicks the can towards the Apathy, but the creature catches it. However, it was just a distraction as Blake flips over the Apathy. The creature tries to backhand the black haired hero but leans back to avoid the strike. Blake then jabs the creature in the stomach before dropping low while sweeping it's legs with a reverse roundhouse.
"Nice moves, Blake." Yang says with a grin.
"Thanks." Blake says with a small smile.
Suddenly, a Apathy slugs Blake in the face, causing her to spin for a moment before falling to the ground.
"Ouch." Blake says with a grimace.
Yang runs away from an Apathy before ducking down as the monster leaps at her. The creature goes sailing over the blonde before two more approach her. Yang kicks one Apathy before grabbing both of them.
"Kiss and make up!" Yang says.
Yang gives the two creatures a double whammy. The creatures quickly recover as the try to force Yang to the ground. However, Yang flips a few times while the Apathy hold her arms. She then knocks the two together again before flipping them both.
"Booyah!" Yang says with a fist pump.
While her friends have their own battles, Jeanne backflips twice before kicking an Apathy five times. The creature falls to the ground as Jeanne quickly turns around to face another Apathy.
"Nice one, sis!" Jaune says while Pyrrha smiles at her boyfriends sister's counterpart.
Two Apathy try to attack Neo on both sides. The dual colored hero responds by double kicking the creatures. One of the Apathy recovers before chasing after Neo who runs away.
Neo claps at her counterparts display while Roman crosses his arms with a smirk.
An Apathy attacks Ruby, but the red themed hero blocks every attack. The creature goes for a spin kick, but Ruby backflips away. She then backflips two more times to avoid another spin kick. Once she straightens herself, Ruby knock the Apathy down with her.
"Take that!" Ruby exclaims while shaking her fist.
Blake steps on to a bulldozer with an Apathy close behind her.
"Here, let me get the door!" Blake says.
Blake swings the door out and it hits the Apathy. The creature stands in a daze before falling backwards.
"Oof. That had to hurt." Roman says with a wince.
Jeanne judo flips an Apathy. Before it can get back up, the blonde punches the creature in the stomach. However, punching the creature results in some black ooze getting on Jeanne's fist.
"Eugh!" The heroes exclaim in disgusts.
Jeanne looks at her fist before shrugging. "You ooze you lose."
Yang laughs at Jeanne's pun while Jaune groans with a face-palm.
Suddenly, an Apathy filings itself on Jeanne, taking the blonde down with it.
Nearby, an Apathy chases after Neo. She leads it to a group of rocks before backflipping off of them as the creature passes her. Before the Apathy can turn around, Neo kicks it down.
"Sit down!" Neo says.
Suddenly, more Apathy appear. Causing alarm to Neo.
"There's still more?!" Oscar exclaims in shock.
"And they were doing so well." Ozpin says.
"Uh-oh." Neo says in concern. "See ya!"
Neo backflips away with Jeanne following after her.
"Right behind you, Neo!"
The rest of the Apathy rush after the heroes. Ruby knocks one away from her, but another quickly slugs her across her face.
Weiss avoids a kick from an Apathy, but is unable to avoid the creatures flying kick. Weiss is knock to the ground, but manages to get back up as four of her teammates regroup near her.
Neo looks at her girlfriend in worry. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah." Weiss says.
Blake is suddenly sent sailing towards her friends.
"Blake!" Neo exclaims.
Neo and Yang help Blake up as the team inches back.
"This isn't good!" Jaune exclaims in worry.
"There's too many of them." Pyrrha says.
"Come on." Summer mutters urgently.
Salem and Cinder smirk at the heroes predicament.
"End of the line." Cinder says.
"It ain't over till the fat lady sings, Cindy." Blaze says while glancing at Cinder. "Just keep watching."
The Apathy begin to close in on the Rangers as they inch back towards a wall.
"They've got us cornered." Yang says in worry.
"We can't hold them off." Blake says.
"There's too many of them!" Jeanne exclaims.
With no other options, Weiss looks to her team.
"Let's do it, guys!" Weiss says.
"Right!" The Ranger exclaim as they reach behind themselves.
"It's morphing time!" Weiss exclaims.
The Remnantians turns to Blaze who simply grins while bringing their attention back to the screen.
Lightning strikes as the Rangers pull out their morphers.
"Pterodactyl!" Neo exclaims.
"Triceratops!" Jeanne exclaims.
"Tyrannosaurus!" Ruby exclaims.
"Mastodon!" Blake exclaims.
"Sabertooth tiger!" Yang exclaims.
"White tiger!" Weiss exclaims.
A metamorphosis occurs as the girls gain costumed forms. No longer are they ordinary girls. They are now Power Rangers!
Go, go, Power Rangers
Go, go, Power Rangers
Mighty Morphing Power Rangers
The Rangers preform a series of aerials before landing. They then strike a pose.
"AWESOME!" The heroes exclaim in joy and surprise.
"What just happened?" Ruby asks excitedly.
"They morphed." Blaze says. "Those devices they had were their morphers. Using them transformed them into what you see now. As the Power Rangers, they now have increased strength, speed and durability. Along with a few weapons."
Neo grins at her counterparts new look. "I always liked the color pink. I wear it pretty well."
"But why the spandex?" Roman asks with a raised eyebrow.
Blaze suddenly gets right in Roman's face with a look of anger. Startling the criminal.
"It is NOT SPANDEX!" Blaze yells with fury.
"Uh, guys?" Blake asks.
The audience looks as Blake points towards the screen.
With their transformations complete, the Rangers are ready for round two against the Apathy. However, the Ranger find that the creatures are nowhere to be found.
"...Huh?" The audience asks in confusion.
"Where'd they go?" Neo asks.
"Keep your eyes peeled." Blake says.
Ruby looks to her right. "Heads up guys! Over there!"
The rest of the Rangers look as Ruby points to the retreating form of an Apathy.
"Why'd they run?" Yang asks.
"Maybe their transformations scared them off." Jaune says.
Pyrrha narrows her eyes. "I'm not so sure.
"Careful. It could be a trap." Weiss says. At her teammates nod, Weiss continues. "Let's go."
The Rangers warily follow after the creatures. On guard as they seek to finish their battle. Unknown to the Rangers, a great tragedy is about to occur.
And done! Here's part one of the Power Ranger universe. As you can see, I chose to do the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers movie. One of my favorites.
See you in part 2. Until then, ja nee!
