A couple of minutes after hearing the roars and Martin's call, he was walking through the Enchanted Forest along with Java, Diana, Apple, and Raven.
"Are you sure those roars came from the next two monsters?" asked Diana
"The rules state that only one would come each day, and from the sound of it this will be three for today," she said.
"Those rules were before Raven broke the script by attacking the Hydra, only the three of us should have been able to do that," said Martin. Suddenly, they entered a clearing where two creatures stood.
"Whoa, a minotaur and Sphinx," said Diana.
"Don't tell me we have to fight both of these things," said Raven who was a little worried about this.
"I shall not fight," came a voice from the Sphinx.
"A riddle I'll give after you defeat the minotaur," it said. Before another word could be said, the minotaur charged at Martin and the others.
"Whoa," said Apple as they all got out of the minotaur's path just in time for it to blow past them, but it was unable to stop and rammed its head into a tree which was split in half from the sudden headbutt.
"How are we going to beat something this strong?" asked the princess while recovering her footing.
"Let's try burning it!" said Raven as she shot the monster with magical flames. However, this only enraged the minotaur more and made him turn its attention to her.
"Minotaurs are counted as demigods, magic won't work on them," said Martin as Raven dodged the creature again.
"Then I'll ask again, how are we going to beat the thing?!" asked Apple while hiding behind a tree.
"Are there any mazes nearby?" asked Diana.
"The Thorn Maze, it's an indestructible maze of thorn bushes that runs for miles underground," said Raven who was keeping the beast busy by blasting it with her magic and then running.
"Then that's where we are heading, and I need you to make me something while we do, Raven," said Martin as he joined the witch who was running away from the creature in the direction of the maze.
