When an angry mob in Prague takes Drusilla hostage after a recent attack, Spike travels to California in search of a powerful warlock who can hopefully return her to him. For the warlock to help him, Spike must watch over and protect a potential Slayer. What begins as an innocent task quickly turns into something much worse, and Spike gets more than he bargained for in the process.

For the few moments Buffy was dead in a puddle of water by the Master's hand; she was transported to the future, in an unfamiliar room, staring down at a handsome stranger giving her a heartfelt speech.

Buffy and Angel decide it is time to give it another try. They are older, Wiser but know it has to be different if its gonna work this time. They come up with a plan so they can still be together so Buffy doesn't have to give up all the things normal people get like SEX.Enter The Surrogate. Its fine as long as they follow the rules.
