Nilfgaurd wants Gerlt to claim his Child Surprise and hand her over to Nilfgaurd before they invade. However, Jaskiers' poor attempt to save both the Child Surprise and Geralt leads The Witcher to a strange new world and an equally strange adventuring party.

The Age Of Fire is at an end. The Ashen One's duty fulfilled. Yet as the dark settles across the land, light cannot exist in a realm of eternal dark.
