With four people instead of two, it was relatively easy to find the groceries and make the order, so they weren't at the mall as long as they thought they'd be.

As they walked back to the Hotel, they found themselves simply conversing, despite the insanely different personalities.

"So, wait, Charlie is more powerful than you?" Vaggie asked, looking at John with a raised eyebrow. John chuckled.

"Yeah. By a fucking country mile." John said, grinning as he looked down at the moth demon. "Like I told Charlie, and like you may or not have overheard, strength and power are two very different things."

"So, how strong are you, anyway?" Charlie asked him, catching his attention. "You and Al both have told us that your basically invulnerable to Al's attacks, but is there a limit?"

John chuckled. "If there is, I haven't found it. Heaviest thing I ever lifted was when I was alive."

They all looked at him in disbelief.

"No way."

"Impossible."

"You're lying."

John laughed at their reactions. "Nah, it's true! Hell, my strength here is probably a direct result of my powers on Earth."

Vaggie looked at John with weariness. "You were a superhuman?"

Charlie looked at Vaggie, surprised by her rather tame reaction. "You don't sound surprised by that."

Vaggie glanced at Charlie. "When I died, superhumans were starting to pop up more and more. First real recognition was some kid in Ohio."

John laughed. "Yeah, that was me." He said, catching Vaggie's attention, her eyes going wide.

"You?" She asked in disbelief. "You were the Juggernaut?"

John rolled his eyes. "Please don't call me that."

Charlie looked at Vaggie confused. She had never heard of any superhumans on Earth. Alastor couldn't really speak due to being a Voodoo practitioner while he was alive, but actual superhumans were still unheard of. John was the first time he'd ever met anyone with superpowers while they were alive.

"The Juggernaut?" Charlie asked, looking between Vaggie and John.

"Yeah. The Juggernaut was what everyone called the first ever superhuman. Something to do with how strong and fast he was." Vaggie explained, glancing over at John. "I heard you stopped some… electric guy?"

At Vaggie's words, John suddenly came to a stop, causing Charlie to bump into his back in surprise.

"Oof." She rubbed her head from having slammed it into his hard back as she looked up at him. "John?"

She walked around to his front, and was a little unsettled at the blank look on his face.

"Hey, big f- big guy?" Vaggie asked, stopping and correcting herself before she finished her words. She was on thin ice with Charlie. She wasn't going to push it. "What's up?"

"Johnathan, calm down."

Alastor's soft but somewhat cautious voice caught their attention, and they were surprised by his words.

"Alastor, what are you-"

"Miss Vaggie, Miss Charlotte, it would do you both good to step away from Johnathan, right now." Alastor was approaching slowly, his eyes never leaving John's face. "John, you're letting your death get to you."

"Shitlord, what are you…" Vaggie trailed off as her eyes happened to glance down at John's hands, only for her eyes to lock onto them.

Despite his rather blank expression, John's hands were shaking in restrained rage, fists clenched so tight that his claws were digging into his palms. Quite deeply too, if the blood leaking from his hands was anything to go by.

Charlie's eyes widened when she noticed, and she placed her hand on John's forearm in worry. "John, your hands…"

John seemed to snap out of his daze, shaking his head to clear it as he looked down at Charlie. "Huh.. what was it?"

"Your hands, Johnathan." Alastor spoke, catching his attention. John raised his hands up to skin them, and his eyes widened as he spotted the still healing claw marks on his hands.

"I blacked out again, didn't I?" He asked, looking at Alastor with a guilty look.

Alastor nodded. "You did. The very moment that Vaggie mentioned this… electric menace."

John chuckled. "That's too nice of a word for him." He glanced at Vaggie. "That 'electric man' is Jason Meadows. He was the reason I got my powers on Earth, and he's the reason I'm dead."

Vaggie raised an eyebrow. "He poisoned you?"

John nodded. "Among a shiton of other crap in my life, yes." He shook his head to clear the building rage within him. "With any luck, the scumbag is down here somewhere, suffering the worst kind of fate you can in this shithole."

The way he spoke with such hatred was a far cry from the friendly demeanor he'd shown so far. And they were a little unnerved at what could possibly anger this man, especially if he was who he said he was.

"So, Juggernaut, huh?" Alastor said, hoping to change the subject as his usual smile was on his face again.

John rolled his eyes, but a small smile was present on his face. "Oh, go fuck yourself, Al."

"Why did they name you that if you don't like it?" Charlie asked him.

"I didn't pick the name." John replied. "Result of the media."

"From what I can gather, they named him Juggernaut cause he was like the X-Men character." Vaggie said, causing John's eyes to widen.

"Really? That's why they called me the Juggernaut?"

Vaggie actually felt amusement building up within her at his surprise. "You didn't know?"

"No! I never really cared to find out how I got it, I just hated the fucking name!" John rolled his eyes as he let out a huff. "By that logic, I should've been the Hulk. I can run at 500 miles an hour and I jump around like a fucking monkey."

His pouting face, plus the comparison to the Hulk and a Monkey, had all of them cracking up laughing, even Alastor, who had no idea who the Hulk was.

"Yeah, but you don't get stronger, do you?" Vaggie asked with a chuckle. John shook his head.

"Not anymore."

"Well, there you go." Vaggie smirked. "Hmm, now that I think about it, you look a lot like Doomsday, from DC."

John looked at Vaggie with wide eyes. "I'm surprised you made that comparison." He admitted. Vaggie shrugged.

"My life wasn't the greatest, comic books were my escape." She replied with little explanation. Charlie nodded.

"Oh yeah, on our first date she took me to see a human film that had just come out at the time. Wonder Woman, wasn't it?"

Vaggie nodded, and John was positive it was the first time she was excited about something.

Admittedly, he had only known her for a day.

"Oh yeah! Gal Gadot was great as Wonder Woman! I didn't expect her to be so good, honestly, especially when I first saw BvS."

"Honestly, I didn't even know she was playing the character until BvS released." John admitted, glancing down at Vaggie. "When I found out Wonder Woman and Doomsday was in the film, I was like 'back up, repeat that, and make sure it's true'."

Vaggie nodded, and both Alastor and Charlie were watching in slight befuddlement at how well Vaggie was bonding with John over comic books and superheroes.

"Yeah, BvS could've been done better, but the Ultimate Edition definitely fixed most of its issues." Vaggie remarked. John nodded.

"I agree, though even with the Ultimate Edition, it could've done without Doomsday and trying to shoehorn in the Justice League."

Vaggie nodded in agreement. "Yeah. But Warner Brothers wanted to compete with Avengers. Hell, they even brought in Joss Whedon to direct the Justice League movie, didn't they?"

John rolled his eyes. "Yeah, cause that turned out so well. Say what you will about Zack Snyder, at least when he was helming the DC films, they had a set path they were following, and they knew where it was going."

Vaggie nodded. "I agree. But everyone wants family friendly and humor everywhere." She remarked. "Hell, the 2008 Hulk film is one of the best superhero films, especially in the MCU, but it is so underrated because of how dark it is compared to the rest of them."

John chuckled. "Right? And then they had the balls to turn him into a joke after Avengers."

Vaggie snorted. "Yeah, because of Universal."

John shrugged. "Yeah, that's fair. But on the topic of DC, at least the love for Zack Snyder's DCEU paid off. I mean, have you seen the Snyder Cut of Justice League?"

Vaggie's eyes went wide. "Wait, it was actually released?!"

John's eyes went wide in disbelief as he looked at Vaggie. "You didn't know that? 4 hours of restored content, and extra footage to finish the film as Zack Snyder had envisioned it!"

Vaggie's jaw dropped, before she turned to Charlie. "Can we stop at a movie store?"

Charlie and Alastor were both stunned and wide-eyed at the newly revealed comic nerds sudden agreement, so Charlie only just barely managed to nod her head.

John, however, shook his head. "No need! They released it on HBO Max, so it's on LEF Piracy!"

Vaggie's eyes went wide, and then she was jumping in excitement. "Oh hell yeah, I know what I'm doing when I get back!"

Suddenly, she was bolting off towards the Hotel, and John was hot on her tail.

"Wait for me, I'm not missing the chance to watch it again!"

Both Alastor and Charlie watched the site, before they slowly looked at each other.

"Did that really just happen?" Charlie asked quietly.

Alastor nodded slowly. "Yes, I do believe it did."

They both turned back towards where the other two had run off.

"Hey Al?"

"Yes?"

"Five bucks says Vaggie is still mean to John when they aren't talking about comic books."

"I'd take you up on that bet, but that would imply that I disagree with you."

As both Vaggie and John booked it towards the Hotel, John found himself smelling something. It was a scent that was familiar, but he couldn't quite place it at first. It was sweet, sickeningly so, yet it smelt like cologne, and John could feel a bitter taste welling up in his mouth.

The scent was slowly getting stronger as they approached the Hotel.

John was nagging himself, wondering why the smell was so familiar…

…and then the Hotel came into view.

And I familiar fancy purple limo came into view in front of it.

John's eyes shot wide, and he came to a deadstop as he caught site of the limo.

Vaggie was quick to realize her companion had stopped, considering his size, he was surprisingly faster than she was on his feet, so she was still catching him when he stopped.

"Hey, what's up?" She asked him as she stopped. She glanced towards the Hotel, and her eyes widened when she saw the limo at the Hotel. "Hey, who's-"

"Hell fucking no." John completely ignored her, moving briskly at a quick pace, making a beeline straight for the limo's driver side door.

John wasn't faltering for a second, something Vaggie didn't know whether to hate or admire, considering who's limo this probably is.

When John reached the limo, he didn't knock, he didn't even pound. He dug his fingers into the side of the door, molding the metal in his hands, and tore it from it's hinges, tossing it violently and sending it flying.

Vaggie just barely dodged the door, before watching in shock as it embedded itself into a brick wall nearby, sticking out from the wall perfectly.

"Hey, what the-HRK!"

The bear demon had no time to say much else after the door was gone before John's massive hand was around his throat, lifting him up and out of the car.

"What the fuck is Valentino doing here?!" John demanded, his free hand clenched with anger as he glared at the demon in his grip.

"Hey man, fuck you! Val will-ACK!"

"Val won't be here to do shit before I'm done with you! Start talking!" John said, loosening his grip once more so that the man could speak once more.

The demon spoke in gasps, but he still didn't budge. "I don't know who you are man, but Val's gonna make you-"

"Oh fuck this!" No sooner than the words left his mouth had John lightly tossed the demon in the air, quick enough so that he could instead grip the entirety of the bear's head and slam him down onto the top of the limo, completely caving in the roof and injuring, if not temporarily killing, the demon.

Vaggie rushed up behind him as he walked around the limo, having heard the entire exchange as Alastor and Charlie rushed up behind them.

"Wait, Valentino is here? The OVERLORD?!" She screeched, her eyes wide with fury.

"What?!" Charlie exclaimed at Vaggie's words, worry taking over her. Alastor's eyes narrowed.

"If He's here, not doubt that degenerate Vox is as well, and that little girl that's always with them."

"Velvet." John growled dangerously, his gaze snapping to the three of them. "Stay here." He ordered as he began marching his way towards the Hotel.

Vaggie was quick to object. "You're really asking us too-"

"I'm not asking." John said simply without looking back, but Vaggie didn't miss a beat.

"Good, cause I don't need your permission." Vaggie retorted, brandishing her spear.

"Neither do I, dear boy." Alastor said as he too stepped forward. John gave them one glance, but he didn't slow down.

"Fine."

He tossed open the door and rushed inside, intent on tracking Valentino's scent. But he didn't need to.

"Jesus Christ Val, I just needed a place to stay!"

"Angel Cakes, how do you think it looks on me if my best worker is at this… redemption palace?"

Along with the words of Valentino and Angel, he could slightly hear Husk's muffled voice yelling something that vaguely sounded like profanities, along with an evil giggle, and what sounded like a synthesizer.

It was coming from the kitchen.

John was rushing in that direction before the other three had made it to the front doors, his feet carrying him at a rapid pace, hoping he was quick enough to protect everyone from harm.

When he burst into the kitchen, he felt his rage overtaking him.

Angel was bent over a table, Val trying to rip away at his underwear, while Husk was tied to a chair, a look of rage on his face at the incident, tape around his mouth going completely around his head. Niffty was unconcious, tucked away under Velvet's arm, who was standing next to Vox, a sadistic smile on their faces.

"How about I remind you just who you belong to."

"Val, please, I'm sor-"

"VALENTINO!"

Everyone froze in place, fear shuddering through their beings at the roar that shook the very foundations of the Hotel. Power could be felt emanating from the voice alone, and everyone was lucky their eardrums hadn't burst at the sheer volume.

"You lay another hand on him and I will tear your wings off!"

Vox and Velvet were already staring at Valentino, fear and horror flooding their veins as Valentino slowly turned to look towards John, his grey skin turning white as he was petrified with fear.

Vaggie slowly approached, stiff and ready for any sudden movements as she got close enough to look into the room, Charlie and Alastor right behind her.

"G-G-G… Gallagher…"

Everyone in the room glanced at John, who looked nothing like his normal self.

Every single gash coating his body had blood flowing from it, leaking amounts that shouldn't have been possible, even for a demon. His face had warped, changed. Gone was the friendly visage, in it's place was a face of nightmares. John's blue eyes had been replaced by deep black pits of his skull, glowing red dots illuminating them as his eyes. His mouth was open wide, too wide to be natural, and his razor sharp teeth looked as if they had multiplied, blood drooling from his mouth in a puddle.

"Oh shit…" Vox muttered quietly. Velvet had since dropped Niffty, instead shaking like a leaf.

"John?" Charlie asked, her voice high with fear, admittedly somewhat afraid of the display.

Alaster glanced at John, and then looked directly at Valentino.

"Well, my friend, it seems that you have made the biggest mistake you possible could've."

John began stomping towards Valentino, who quickly let go of Angel Dust and backed away from the approaching monster as the spider demon hurried away from the table to untie Husk.

"N-Now, Johnny, my man… we didn't you was coming-"

"Cut the shit. What the fuck are you doing here?" John demanded, in no mood for the moth demon's games.

Despite the moth demon being taller by about a foot, he knew exactly how easily this demon in front of him could wipe away everyone in the room, outside of the Princess, perhaps.

He was not stupid. He wasn't going to try and agitate him any more.

Hesitantly, he pointed towards Angel Dust, who was taking the tape off of Husk's mouth.

"Angel Dust is one of my employees… he hasn't show up for work for a-"

"I don't give a damn." John's hand suddenly lit ablaze with fire, and his snapped it forward, his hand wrapping around Valentino's in a burning grip.

The mouth demon struggled, shouting in pain as he tried desperately to escape the grip around his neck. John roughly pulled him close, glaring at the demon.

"I know what you do to people who work for you, you piece of shit. If I ever see you around here again, I will rip you limb from fucking limb, and make sure you can't ever regenerate. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!?"

Valentino gasped. "B-But, he's under contract…"

"I know exactly what your contracts mean, Valentino. You're lucky that studio of yours is still standing." John didn't care what Valentino was doing here, or who he was after. He was leaving here with nothing. "Now, GET LOST!"

With those words, John snapped towards Vox and Velvet, throwing Valentino at them as if he were nothing more than a weightless rag doll.

Valentino's tall frame flew at them like a rocket. Velvet just barely jumped out of the way while Vox was caught by the moth demons body, both of them flying into the wall with enough for to crack the entire thing.

Turning his gaze away from Valentino as his face slowly returned to normal, he turned to look at Angel, who had just finished untying Husk. "You alright, Angel?"

Angel nodded, albeit a little slowly. "Yeah. Thanks for the save." He averted his gaze as he mumbled under his breath. "Lotta good it'll do."

John nodded, and looked at Husk. "What about you, Husk?"

Husk growled. "I'm fine. Sons a bitches didn't do much but tie me down." He glared at the three V's, snarling.

John's gaze turned back towards the three V's. "I told you three that I'd kill you if I ever saw you again. Count yourselves lucky you get to leave alive."

"That's a thing with you though, isn't it, Gallagher?" Valentino's words confused John, as the moth demon was usually terrified of him. "You always threaten to kill, but you never do."

"Odd of you to say." Alastor remarked, raising an eyebrow at Valentino. "Considering he's down here for murder."

"Oh, but he has a hero complex." Vox actually snickered as he spoke, as if the earlier fear of him was gone. "In Hell of all places…"

John's eyes narrowed as he looked at Vox and Valentino with a suspicious gaze. There behavior was off, like someone had flipped a switch.

But he could tell after looking carefully that they were still scared. Valentino was sweating like a stuck up pig, and Vox had a very low droning sound emanating from him. They were acting.

They pulling something.

"JOHN, BEHIND YOU!"

John whipped around at Charlie's frantic scream, in time to come face to face with the barrel of a gun.

An angelic gun.

He had no chance to react before Velvet pulled the trigger.

And then the room went silent

A/N: Dun Dun DUUUUUUN! Anyway, that's the end of this chapter. John has met Valentino before? And the three V's? How did this come to be.

You will all find out in the next chapter.

Also, LEF Piracy is something I came up with. It stands for Lucifer's Earth Films Piracy, and it's a streaming service within Hell.

As always, I hope you enjoyed, don't forget to review, and take care.
