We find Izuku currently in a warehouse, putting on tactical gear and stretching. He had a team behind him, the same team from the canyon incident. The atmosphere around him, Touma, and Aoki was dreadful and downcast. This was because they were informed of the death of "Red-Hair Shanks."
Currently, the operation was to support an all-out assault on the PAD base, aiming to bring down Kaido. They were assisted by almost every pro-hero that could make it. In fact, the heroes were just on the other side of the warehouse. Then, a familiar voice sounded.
"Everyone, listen up!" yelled Present Mic.
"Look, today, we need to breach the PAD base and capture the leader, Shigaraki. A bunch of high profile villains will also be present, so pick your battles. Also, General Kaido will be present, DO NOT ENGAGE! Only few here can go toe-to-toe with him, so don't push your luck. The military squadron behind you will take down Kaido."
Everyone looked back to see a group of seven kids, all the same age. All of them adorned urban camouflaged gear, with guns, knives, and grenades in pockets.
"Present Mic, why are some brats trying to take down Kaido, shouldn't they still be in school?"
"I assure you, my group is plenty capable. Lieautenant Izuku Midoriya at your service." Izuku interrupted them. All of his group had finished gathering gear and gave the thumbs up to Present Mic.
"All right, follow me and we'll meet at the base." Endevour yelled over the crowd as he trudged forward.
Above them, a beam of light passed by, carrying Izuku and his squad to their reported infiltration point. 5 minutes later, they arrived. Kaito had spotted Kaido near the back of the warehouse, seemingly unaware.
Izuku put his hands in motions, signaling for Dai to shoot a tranquilizer dart. A silenced fire broke out as the dart approached Kaido. It completely shattered upon making contact with his skin. He turned around and looked straight at them.
"Plan B guys." Izuku said urgently.
Mako created a sandstorm around them, shielding their movements. It did nothing as a blade of wind cut the wall in front of them, grazing Izuku. Kaito jumped into action and turned the sandstorm into a tornado aimed at Kaido.
The warehouse room exploded, as a massive azure blue dragon hung above the warehouse district. Kaido roared, the ground shaking from the volume.
"Shit, we gotta get close. Use your heaviest attacks. Those scales are no joke at all." ordered Izuku. Everyone readied a heavy attack. Mako launched a ball of whirling sand. Kaito launched a ball of wind spinning at sonic speed. Aoki launched a massive spike. Dai launched a molly of acidic poison. And Izuku fired a massive light beam.
Kaido looked at the upcoming attacks, as his eyes made a tinge of red and his body darkened slightly. The attacks bounced off of him. A laugh echoed as Kaido readied a blast breath.
Not everyone could escape it in time. Chaiki got caught in the blast, singed. He, miraculously, was still standing. An aura of power waved off of her, as her quirk transformed all damage into strength and speed. She leaped, a shockwave emitting from her feet as she sky walked upward.
Kaido looked at her and charged. The two clashed, a high pressure wave of air decimating the surroundings. Chaiki punched Kaido, him recoiling slightly. Then, Kaido swung his tail, causing Chaiki to dodge.
Kaido then started to spin, as a tornado formed around Chaiki. Izuku now saw her flying through the air, not moving. To finish it off, Kaido fired a blade of wind at her, slicing her in two.
Kaito looked horrified at her friend dying, as others felt angered. Kaido laughed, the sound waves echoing across the landscape. Then, Kaido roared even louder, a bolt of lightning nailing the group, killing Kaito, Dai, Touma, and Aoki. Izuku and Mako used their logia to escape.
Izuku was seething. How had it gone so wrong? Why did he seem so much stronger than them?
"Izuku, get your head in the game. We cant focus on them, we need to do something." Mako yelled. Izuku shook himself and nodded.
"Bring some strong heroes over here, I'll need help. Your sand is completely useless against him, so act as support for the raid over there. I'll buy some time." Izuku said firmly.
Mako looked horrified at him, but followed his orders and left. Kaido narrowed his eyes at Izuku.
"Just one brat. Man, they are really on a shortage if this is all they have."
Izuku jumped in the air, putting his hands in a triangle and focusing as much power into it as possible.
Millions of particles flooded the air, hitting Kaido. The sheer number took a toll on his durability. Kaido then let out volleys of air slices. Izuku phased through them as he trudged forward through the air. Then, a wave of something hit him. It felt familiar.
"Shit!" Izuku yelled, knowing the feeling. It was conquerors haki. It was Shank's quirk. How the hell did Kaido get it. Izuku stood standing at the wave of will, hardening his resolve and pushing it back. He was focusing too hard and didn't notice the blast breath aimed at him. It hit him square in the chest.
Izuku fell to the ground, gasping for air. His body felt like hell, and his vision was shacky. Izuku pushed through it, and pushed his power even more. That's when it happened.
The dark night turned bright as daylight. Izuku felt different. He felt way more control than ever before, being able to feel the light around him. He raised his hand, his whole body coated in a layer of divine-looking light.
He then channeled it into the palm of his hand, the brightest sphere he had ever seen forming. It grew, and grew, and grew until it was the size of a skyscraper. Kaido fired blast breaths, but it did nothing. In preparation, and seeing a bit into the future, Kaido coated advanced armament into his whole body, along with a layer of conquerors.
Izuku threw the ball, it evaporating everything in its path. When it reached Kaido, it exploded. The explosion leveled everything nearby. Thankfully, they were now miles away from the city, the battle being very mobile. Kaido pushed more of his willpower into his skin, the black turning into red. His body became coating in flames, lightning, and wind.
The explosion subsided, as Kaido had singes and burns all across his scales, but was mostly fine. Now, however, he was coated in a mix of flames, wind, and electricity. He looked at Izuku, wincing at the brightness of his body.
"Seems your not half bad, boy. But you still have far to go before beating me!" He let the mixture of elements build in his mouth. They all swirled around each other, mixing and forming into a ball of destruction. Izuku now began to really use his powers.
All around Kaido, the light formed into massive stakes and impaled parts of his body. The ball destabilized and Kaido quickly blew it away. The light began to swirl around Izuku, flowing like water. Izuku now tried something new.
He diverted all light away from Kaido, leaving him in complete darkness. It was so dark it hurt his eyes being in it. While Kaido was struggling, Izuku was gathering light above Kaido. The light formed until a massive spike pierced the clouds and impaled Kaido into the ground.
Izuku began to turn the ground itself into light, digging Kaido deeper and deeper. Finally, Izuku found him and Kaido reaching the mantle. Now, several stakes were keeping Kaido unmoving. Bits of magma surged from underneath Kaido.
"Kaido! While this magma or my attacks most likely cant kill you, I'll make something that can. This explosion will kill us both, and I'll meet you in hell."
For the first time in Kaido's life, he felt fear. He didn't want to die, he needed to control the world. He wanted everything, and only actually got a sliver of it. Izuku's body began to light up even more.
"This explosion will create billions of times more heat than the sun, even your skin won't save you. Of course, only an area of around 10 miles around us will evaporate. Everyone else will be fine. Any last words?"
"Dammit, at least your getting dragged down with me." Kaido grunted out.
Izuku laughed as the brightness began to expand outward. Izuku's body turned into light and exploded outwards. As he said, they were both evaporated instantly, along with a chunk of the earth. Elsewhere.
Shigaraki was currently on his knees, surrounded by every hero in the city. The whole area was a quirk erasure zone, not even the heroes had their quirks. Only mutations stayed functional.
"The battle of One for All and All for One has finally concluded. Now, I can rest happily, and the lifelong quarrel will be over." All Might said.
Shigaraki laughed a bit. "It seems so, but with those injuries and mine, both of us will die on this soil. At least I accomplished my job to kill you, only at the cost of me."
All Might chuckled a bit, the whole through his chest draining him of his blood. His heart was visible, some of it destroyed. A glow surrounding him, getting weaker and weaker was the only thing keeping him alive. "And I got my goal, of putting an end to All for One, and inspiring others to become heroes. I'm fine with dying. You can cut the healing, I won't make it."
The girl behind him, strain visible on her face had tears. So did all the heroes around him. Everyone was unable to process this loss. The UA students, in their dorms, were all huddled on the couch. Even Bakugou looked to the point of crying.
Shigaraki and All Might, the most prominent heroes/villains of their generation, have now died.
A few days later, Aizawa walked out of the hospital, looking at the point of puking. All the students faced him, in their seats.
"Students, I have somber news. During the raid of last night, Izuku was a leading officer in the military leading the charge against Kaido."
He was interrupted by Bakugou, who looked shocked. "That nerd was in the military!?"
Murmurs erupted around the class, realization kicking in about his absence in these recent weeks. Bakugou now realized why he never saw him after that fight, all those years ago.
"Everyone! Quiet!"
The classroom turned quiet instantly.
"I am here to spill the news, that Izuku is now dead. He died by sacrificing himself to kill Kaido, saving the city and maybe all of Japan. There are few that can compare to Kaido, so Izuku was tasked with the job. A funeral will be held in a few weeks time."
The class didn't move. Some looked like they didn't even register anything. Some peoples eyes were already spilling waterfalls. And those who talked to him frequently (Uraraka, Kirishima, Bakugou, Todoroki) were stunned. No, they were horrified.
Bakugou felt tears in his eyes, regret and shame passing through him. Maybe if he wasn't mean to him, he would never have left school for the military and never have fought Kaido. It was his fault. Bakugou ran out of the classroom, dashing through an open window and blasting away.
Todoroki's head hit the desk, too much shock to process. He and Izuku talked sometimes, and he really helped him with his problems. He convinced him to start a better relationship with his dad, and pushed him to be better. Why did he end up the same as Toya? Why did he have to die?
Uraraka and Kirishima were crying, both in emotional agony. They were close with Izuku, and they couldn't imagine he was dead.
And this now concludes the tale of What if Deku at the Pika Pika no Mi. My next series will be What if Deku had Kamui. I ran out of ideas for the story and decided to end it here, so please don't be mad if it feels rushed. I'll be away for a few weeks, so late July will be next post. Have a good rest of your day.
