Day 18- Rex + Ahsoka watching the Ghost Team

Rex breathed out heavily as he sat down in the grass. He watched as Ahsoka made a few more steps before reaching the top of the hill and the stood beside him.

"Too tired to keep standing?" Ahsoka asked.

Rex chuckled. "Too old; knees can't take it after making that climb."

"You're not that old," Ahsoka said rolling her eyes.

"Try telling that to the knees," Rex sighed patting them. "They think they are."

"Maybe you just need to stretch more, keep up that flexibility," Ahsoka suggested. "It would be good for you anyway."

"Well, at this point I don't think my body could take it." Rex rubbed the back of his neck. "I'd love to run around, like those two." He gestured to Zeb and Ezra. "But at this point, eh…well, I don't think it'll happen."

"Still pessimistic?" Ahsoka sighed looking down at him.

"Or realistic," Rex countered raising his eyebrows at her. "You wouldn't want me hurting myself, like those two." He gestured again to Zeb and Ezra, who it seemed were now on the ground, one of them having tackled the other.

"It's no different then the boys would have been," Ahsoka shrugged. "Tackling each other, and arguing." She pointed over to Kanan and Hera. "Or someone actually doing work," she chuckled as she saw Sabine working on the ship. "I guess that's just how families work."

Rex smiled. "Yeah, I guess it is," he whispered.
