Clean Slate
Chapter 11
Time seemed to just stop. As Brooke and Lucas began a continued ongoing mess of arms and legs. Taking each other over the edge so many times they lost count. At some point. The couple ended up in their bedroom.
Lucas awoke to find the sun setting through the windows and Brooke wrapped in the bed sheets. Looking out the window or at the walls. He wasn't sure.
He leaned over. Caressing her face with his hand.
Which caused her to look at him.
"What brought this part of you back.? I missed you. Us being like this but i know when something is going on with you."
"You're quiet. Distant. What are you thinking about.? And stressing over.? Don't tell me nothing." Lucas insisted.
Brooke glared at him. "So that's what you think this is! Me reacting. Impulsive! Trying to self destruct!" She proclaimed.
Lucas took her hand in his. "Brooke." He said softly.
Brooke sighed deeply. As she began to tell him everything.
By the time she finished talking she was tired.
The expression on his face softened.
"I'm sorry. That you are going through this. But doesn't it mean something that Ted decided to be you're dad knowing you weren't actually his.? He could of told you but never wanted you to know. Because it doesn't matter to him." Lucas explained.
"Are you seriously taking his side.?" Brooke asked.
"No i'm on you're side. 100 percent. I'm just trying to give you another perspective." Lucas stated matter of fact.
"I love you. I'm sorry for jumping all over you."
"It's just i'm confused and full of doubts regarding being a mom already just to find out my family drama has a new layer and some guy out there who shares my DNA."
"I'm not a even a Davis at this point. I'm just Brooke. And that scares me." She admitted.
Days Later
Victoria felt consumed with joy and excitment.
Paul Norris. Locked eyes with her. Engulfing her in a tight hug.
"Vickie. It's been long." The man said.
"Brooke knows that Ted isn't her father. But she doesn't know that Julian is her brother." Victoria announced.
The color draining from his face.
