Extra 011: Tested Toleration

"Okay, what the hell is bringing this on!?" Ragna demanded. The Reaper was rather taken aback with what he'd just heard, as evidence by his raise of volume. He was inside of team RWBY's room in what should have been a pretty normal day. And considering what they'd been put through recently and all of the drama surrounding those events, it had been downright relaxing via comparison.

"Not hearing a no from you just yet," Weiss noted.

"I'm still trying to figure out if you're all serious with this!" His shouting was likely heard by anyone outside the walls and would cause said individuals to pause and (Ragna feared) maybe even try to figure out what all of the shouting was for. "Which of you even came up with the idea in the first place?"

"Wow; you're not immediately blaming me." Yang almost sounded impressed.

"Uh sis, even I'm suspicious of you," Ruby noted.

"So am I, partner." A bit of betrayal on Blake's part.

"And since I was the last to consider the idea…" Weiss finished (not including the fact that she was far from against the proposal).

"Okay, so I'm the one that brought it up. But to be fair, the idea didn't come straight from me," Yang said to defend herself. Not that it did much to help the now-scowling Bloodedge. "It came from that older nurse we have at the school, the same one that was taking care of Ruby. She'd been saying that this was the perfect thing to add some spice to a relationship and explore new options."

"By… having me dress up as a girl," Ragna reminded, stating what he was in for. 'Bang, your wife is starting to sound just as crazy as you are. I wonder if she puts him through this sort of thing… if she does, there's no doubt in my mind that he wouldn't just go along with it. He'd go all out just to please her and she'd take full advantage of that.' "And you all thought I would go agree to this?"

"No, but all of us did seem to agree that it was worth asking you," Ruby admitted. Sighing, Ragna waited for his girlfriend to give him the eyes… only to find that she wasn't doing anything of the sort to coerce him. "When we set up this relationship, one of the big things was to make sure we were comfortable with our boundaries. If you're against this sort of thing, then it's your right to call it off."

"Good that you understand that at least, but…" The four glanced at one another as their boyfriend had a long and heavy moment of silence. It seemed… thoughtful. "What the hell? I'll do it."

"Wait, really?" a shocked Weiss demanded.

"You four looked like you really wanted to try this out, so I guess I can try to accommodate. Besides, doesn't sound like the most damaging thing in the world." Yang especially seemed more than a little surprised that he was taking this so well in stride. "That being said, this stays between us. No point giving anyone else ammo to use against me."

"Done. Litchi did say that she wanted photos, but I think we can get around that," Yang agreed. "Alright, all that's left is to do actually do the deed tonight."

"Wait, so soon?" Ragna demanded.

"Should've mentioned, but Litchi told me that she had a practice room open for tonight," the blonde explained. "Locked doors, permission from Goodwitch, the whole deal. She even has a uniform ready that she insists they would fit you."

"How… does she know my measurements?" Ragna demanded before thinking. "Wait, back at Grimm's Day you knew my exact measurements for my costume. How the hell did you pull that off?"

"…Another two months of dating and maybe I'll let you know how." Ragna didn't know why she was blushing, but somehow it was embarrassing him.

"Don't think I really need to," he decided, backing off from the question. "Fine, I'll see you all then." Departing from his girlfriends' room, Ragna was at least glad to see that no one had been listening in on them (his sense were back and able to help him tell as much, but the extra confirmation didn't hurt). Finally, he allowed himself a small smirk. 'Let's see if this'll play out like I hope it will.'

Later

"...Much as I admittedly want to see this; I'll give a courtesy warning that this is your last chance to back out," Blake said as the five stood before the empty training room.

"What? Is your next warning that I'm about brand new world that's going to reveal a side of me I've only dreamed of in my darkest moments?" Ragna scoffed.

"…Someone's read up to chapter 3," Blake muttered with a slight blush.

"That same someone doesn't want spoilers while he's on chapter 7; I'm actually kinda invested in this one," he informed. "Since the clothes are inside, I guess you can just wait out here for me until I get them on."

"I'm still a little surprised you're going through with this so readily," Weiss couldn't help but add.

"How many times are you going to give me a chance to back out? I thought you all wanted this," Ragna huffed.

"We're just making sure that you don't back out now," Ruby said before blushing slightly. "Are you… going to need help getting ready?"

"If I do, this is one time I don't want some," Ragna told her as he headed into the practice room and shut the door behind him.

"So… think he'll pull it off?" Yang asked the other girls. "Gotta be honest, I've got some doubts with those muscles of his; might not suit the uniform even with Litchi's eye."

"True, somehow nothing else he's worn has looked nearly as slimming as that red jacket he always has on," Weiss agreed. "Not that this won't look good on him; provided I can get him to wear it right when I do the same thing I'm always needed for and adjust his uniform."

"Either way, let's not be too finicky with this and support Ragna no matter what ends up happening," Ruby instructed the rest of her group (a weird way to use her leadership skills for sure). "But also, we have the rest of our idea ready?"

"Yeah, but like we've been saying we'll make sure that Ragna knows what he's getting into and consents," Blake agreed before looking at the door. "We… might want to give him some more time. He probably has no idea what to do with this kind of clothing."

The wait ended up being a full ten minutes and a few groups of students heading back to their quarters after a late night of project hell passed by all too quickly for them. Team RWBY did their best to look inconspicuous and hoped no one they knew would stop to have a conversation in this… unusual setting. The suspense was killing them, but soon enough Ragna's voice sounded through the smallest of cracks in the doorway.

"If it's clear… you can come in." He didn't sound too uncomfortable, but sounded far from excited. The girls braced themselves for when they got inside and saw their boyfriend, carefully closing and locking the door behind them before they took their first look and… weren't nearly as disappointed as he was, but still. "Is this really it?"

Ragna didn't look bad in the girls' uniform top and the plaid skirt, far from it. His muscles were still well defined through the clothing like Yang had thought, but Litchi had gotten him the proper sizes so that it wasn't as tight on him as some of the other things he'd worn. All in all they were just… clothes on him. He even had his familiar arms crossed slouch ( a little harder for him to do in heels) and didn't even seem to be blushing at the events.

"Huh… kinda underwhelming," Ruby said to break the silence. "Not a bad fit on you though."

"Yeah, still going to be wearing my regular coat from now on." Big shocker there.

"Uh… why do you have boobs now?" Weiss asked as she pointed to his protruding chest. Unlike his pectorals which were on the slightly larger side, these had a different kind of volume to them. Even if she was still very positive of her slim physique… it was a bit weird that Ragna's were at least twice as large. (More)

"With the outfit there were these things that I'd been told were heating pads, that's what I got on under the shirt," Ragna admitted before scratching the back of his head. "I kinda figured out what they really were when I remember that Noel was the one that insisted they were heating pads."

"Ah," Blake noted. "So under the skirt do you have-?"

"My boxers. I ain't going that far for this," Ragna answered immediately. "Also Litchi didn't include those, so the option was out anyways." He let out an honest sigh. "Well it seems this was a waste of time."

"Don't say it like that; we had something that we were hoping you'd try and you followed through with it like a trooper," Yang praised her boyfriend, rewarding him with a quick kiss to his cheek. "Although…"

"Oh boy…" the Reaper groaned, wondering if he should've kept his mouth shut. It was then that the girls revealed the rather large makeup kit, a few accessories, and a folding chair for him to sit upon while they worked their… magic? "I should've known."

"Yeah, that's kinda on you," Ruby admitted with a smile. Ragna was finding it awfully hard not to glare at his girlfriends right now. "What? You were just saying how disappointed you were."

"That wasn't an invitation to take things further. And I get the feeling that even if I looked like a goddess you'd go through with this." Once again, Ragna was right on the money as he wasn't offered a retort. Shaking his head, he walked over and grabbed the chair before unfolding it and promptly taking a seat as his girlfriend's stared blankly. "Well? We don't have all night. Weren't you looking forward to this the whole time?"

"You're seriously up for this?" Ruby asked. "Again, there's no pressuring here. We're only doing it if you want to."

"I personally don't, but if I've already come this far then I can take it a little further for your sake. In for a penny and all that." 'If this doesn't get me serious points with them, I don't know what will.'

"Alright ladies, you heard the man!" Yang exclaimed with a cheer. Again Ragna had to hope that no one on the outside could hear them or his reputation would be shot to hell. "Let's have him go from Bloodedge to Beautyedge!"

'I am NOT letting that name stick.' "Just do what you gotta and… and…" A chill went down Ragna's spine as he noticed how eager his girls looked. "…Uh, isn't that a little too eager for-?"

"Hardly!" Ruby declared as she rushed behind him and grabbed his arms to keep him sitting. Obviously Ragna would be able to break out of this, but the goal was more to hold him steady instead of outright trap him. In fact, she even took that opportunity to add a little yellow bow to his hair.

"Let's start with a little blush!" Weiss decided as she went in for the makeup.

"I'm blushing plenty already from this! What's the need for more-!? Hey! We said this stays between us! No scroll pictures!"

"Aw, don't worry about! This is just for all of us to look back on, it'll stay between us!" Yang promised as Weiss finished her work. "The blush is looking nice there Weiss, but I think he needs a little something else. How about a little eyeshadow?"

"On it," Blake (of course it was her) volunteered as she came over and leaned in with a much thinner eyeshadow brush. "Be sure to stay still so I don't mess up and we need to start over. Oh, and you'll need to close your eyes."

"I'm trusting you here," Ragna told her seriously… as seriously as he could with his current visage. Closing his eyes, he felt Blake delicately brush the additional makeup onto his eyelids and resisted the urge not to squirm. When she paused for a moment he was about to open his eyes before he felt something else, but it wasn't on his eyelids. It was on his lips and… it sure didn't feel like a kiss.

"Just a second, I'm just about done with your lipstick," she informed as he opened his eyes. Pulling the tube away, Blake's smirk was far too proud.

"TRAITOR!" Ragna shouted. "I GAVE YOU MY TRUST AND THIS WHAT I GET?!"

"Come on, we were going to put it on anyways," Yang said as she got a picture with her scroll while her sister laughed from behind Ragna.

"Oh, let's go for the lashes next," Weiss said as she went through her make up kit.

"Make sure we give him a ring to put his figure together! Got to give him some jewelry to flaunt!" Ruby insisted.

'They're going wild with this,' Ragna seethed in his mind. 'Just a little more and I'll be done with it and just maybe…'

Meanwhile -Team Jack's Room-

"Something wrong, Amane?" Celica asked her teammate as their entire team sat in the team room for a late night review for the research they'd done for Project Hell that week. "You've been kinda… distracted for a bit. Should we break for coffee?"

"Oh, don't worry about me, my dear. This isn't fatigue, I'm the very embodiment of graceful energy," the dancer assured. "I'm a bit distracted right now because I'm feeling a touch… threatened."

"Threatened," Jin repeated skeptically as he adjusted his reading glasses. "You never once shown any sign of concern since we met you at this Academy. Not through studies, combat, or any other possibility. So why on Remnant would you start now?"

"I haven't the foggiest idea, but the feeling persists," Amane insisted. "In fact… I believe I'm actually close to becoming irritated."

"…So how about that coffee?" Kagura suggested, his tone seemed to have some actual panic behind it.

Back to the Chaos

"…Is it too much to ask for a smile?" Ruby had to ask as the girls looked over their latest creation. Even with the change of clothing, the heaps of make-up, and the accessories including a ring and hairpins… it was still Ragna with his toned arms crossed and signature scowl.

"I feel ridiculous, almost like a clown," he confirmed, not bothering to put a more feminine filter on his gruff tone. "I don't think I've seen any of you in this much makeup."

"Well you've never seen us get ready for one of those big formal events, but maybe we did go a little heavy in some places," Weiss admitted as she got a better look at her blush job. "Still, I don't think anyone's complaining with what we've accomplished here today."

"You better not. This is a one day thing so you girls had better savor it," Ragna insisted.

"You don't want to see any pictures of yourself like this?" Yang asked as she held up her scroll.

"I'd like to be able to sleep tonight, thanks," Ragna declined harshly. "But something's telling me you're not done with requests yet."

"Well…" Blake began, pushing her fingers together nervously.

"Out with it."

"Maybe you could try… modeling for us a bit?" the Faunus tested carefully. "I know that in order for you to do that your attitude would have to go from enduring to accepting, but if you're willing to try."

"And Yang would probably be taking photos the entire time," Ruby admitted as she glanced over to her sister.

"I wouldn't be able to stop myself, nor would I want to."

"You're honest at least, but try not to look so proud when you say it," Weiss chided. "Besides, he's already-"

"Like this, right?"

Weiss and Blake had to catch their breath while Ruby and Yang cheered for their boyfriend. He had his hands on his hips, a single leg forward, and his scowl in addition to his pursed lips just screamed bad bitch.

"Hold it, hold it!" Yang continued to cheer as she snapped a photo. "Now another one!" Ragna then brough his hands around as he went for a side slouch and a more suggestive looking glance. "Work it! Work it! Oh the camera loves you darling!"

"Now do a cute one!" Ruby insisted. Ragna fell down to sit on his knees while putting his hands on his skits and looking up with an actual smile. "Aw! That's perfect!"

"…How does he know so many of these?" Blake whispered to Weiss.

"I may have made him read a half dozen or so of my fashion magazines so that he'd have more ideas on what to wear besides that coat of his… it took me far too long to realize that everything I'd given him was girl focused."

"That might explain things, though I guess he was at least paying attention," the cat Faunus noted as Ragna went into another pose. "You… wouldn't happen to know a couple more he could do, would you?"

"Are you kidding? Even if I didn't, I'd look up as many as possible."

It was a full twenty minutes of posing and looking up new poses to take. Ragna didn't get all of the pictures taken alone either, each of the girls got at least a dozen shots in alongside him. He was glad that these rooms were soundproof because otherwise anyone on the outside would've been able to hear their laughter. Eventually though, enough was enough.

"Everyone got their fill?" Ragna eventually asked.

"Never! But I think you've earned the right to call it quits," Yang teased. "Trust me, we'll have years to look back on these and laugh."

"Just as long as we're the only ones that can look at them," Ragna reminded.

"Don't worry, our little secret," Ruby promised with a wink. "Thanks for giving us all a night we'll never forget."

"I don't think our boyfriend would be able to forget this if he wanted to," Weiss said. "He still showed great bravery in stepping into the unknown, standing tall through the trials, and even doing so with a smile on his face."

"…I leant her the last book; she said she was curious," Blake informed a skeptic Ragna.

"Apparently," he said with a chuckle. "So, now that all that's over… think I can make my own request?"

"I dunno..." Yang began to tease again. "Maybe if you'd let us put a little bit more makeup on we'd consider it. But just so we can hear you out, what were you-?"

"Swimsuits." Ragna's abruptness and crystal clarity in his words even got Yang to pause. "You four wearing them, just so we're being clear."

"Hold on, you want us to show off our swimsuits for you?" Blake demanded. "That request seems a little… sudden."

"As sudden as you putting me in a dress and covering me with makeup?" Ragna retorted. "If anything, I'm giving you an easy wish to grant."

"And after what you just did for us, we'd look like hypocrites if we refused," Ruby realized with a small scowl. "You totes planned this."

"From the very start, but consent is still the name of the game here like we all agreed. It's your say whether or not you want to do it… though admittedly we'll probably be hitting the beaches at some point." A valid point as the girls thought it over. "You don't even need to decide now, just keep it in mind."

"Do they…" Weiss began nervously. "Have to be skimpy swimsuits?"

"All of you were saying how much I'd been going above and beyond with your little dress up project," the Reaper reminded with a wicked grin that made everyone just the tiniest bit hesitant. "Nah, just go with whatever you're comfortable wearing." A noticeable collection of relieved sighs. "I wouldn't hold you to any of that."

"We appreci-" Blake was barely able to start.

"I will."

'Hoo boy.'

"S-sis! What are you doing!?" Ruby demanded with a harsh blush at her blonde sister who was only smiling innocently.

"What? Ragna handle each and every single one of our requests and then some. I think that he's more than earned a little something extra from us in return," she countered slyly. Ragna was wondering if he should step in to stop her. "And think of this as a little challenge for us. Don't you want to take this chance to really go and WOW him?"

"W-well…" Ruby started to stutter before she couldn't utter another word. Ragna couldn't help but notice that Weiss and Blake weren't even trying to deny it.

'I should stop this. I should stop it all right now or at least keep it at the level I seriously wanted,' he thought to himself before turning his attention back to Yang's flirty smile. '…Really? This is how I learn to keep my mouth shut?'

Author's Note

People are going to ask for a follow up on this, aren't they? Do I want to write one? Eh, maybe a little. Who knows, maybe some of you will find it too fanservicy? Either way, it's an option.

Again, the original drawing that inspired this is on my latest YouTube video on my channel. It was commission by CupNoodles123 and drawn by Cold 'N' Lonely on Twitter (adult drawer, just to cover my bases). Feel free to check it out there, and hey I'm in the middle of the FFVII Remake so maybe check out my Let's Play?

Anyways, enough shilling. Let's get to your reviews.

Hotshot6: Not sure on what to do with Mai, but at the same time I'm not sure that it really matters honestly. And I'm a little surprised that you're going for two others, though I'm not sure I'd be able to do a meaningful follow-up to either of them.

Yuki Terumi: Yeah, have to use one swearing master chef icon in place of another.

ArmantusCumPinnae: So many people still shipping those two. Eh, I've had thoughts of doing a quick oneshot, but I don't know. And thankfully Ragna and Weiss have more dances in the future.

EpicLinkSam: Yeah, a few references here and there.

Guest (1): Mission accomplished then.

Guest (2): Really, I was hoping it was well done.

Guest (3): Again, more Ragna/Goodwitch shipping. Highly, HIGHLY doubt that ever going to come up in the story proper.

Guest (4): I'm afraid I don't understand.

Frenandamichelleraya: Thank you, I try.

Call of CTHULU: This one's a standalone, probably going to make a Family Guy sequence "Remember that time-" reference at most.

P3R50N4: I remember that, the anime did have a few good moments.

Bismark Alexander: Well I just decided not to push their relationship that hard too early, pretty uch the same thing for Yang.

Heat and Grace: Maybe sometime soon.

Until next time! Ciao!
