Day 21- Hera hugging Sabine and Ezra
Hera paced back and forth in the lounge area of the Ghost. Zeb watched her, unsure of what would be best.
"Er, Hera," Zeb began. "I'm sure everything's alright. You should probably, um, sit down?"
Hera shook her head and the ends of her lekku twitched anxiously. "But I haven't heard from Ezra and Sabine since they left! I know they tend to be a little more…reckless, but this? This is unlike them Zeb, you know that! They could be hurt, or worse, and we wouldn't know!"
Zeb sighed. "I'm sure we'd find out sooner or later though…But that doesn't mean that happened!" he quickly added on. "I'm sure they're fine."
Hera opened her mouth to speak when outside they ship they heard noise. Another ship coming in.
Without waiting, she rushed out side to see who it was. Sure enough, the Phantom was descending, and very smoothly placed itself into the niche for it on the Ghost.
Hera put a hand to her chest and closed her eyes, tears falling. She ran back inside the ship to greet the two teenagers who'd just returned.
Ezra and Sabine entered the lounge area with equally sheepish expressions. Hera looked at them questioningly, hoping for a quick explanation because she knew she couldn't pretend to be mad for long.
Ezra rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry we didn't contact you. We got the supplies though," he offered with a smile.
Hera raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms.
"But we have a reason!" Sabine hurriedly added. "That we didn't contact you. The comms on the Phantom broke, but I know what the issue is and I will get right to fixing it. We really are sorry though, Hera. We tried, but it wasn't working, and we figured it was best to just get back as fast as we could, not worry about a break to fix comms. I think it would have ended up being the same amount of time without contact. Coming straight home seemed…the wiser option."
Hera relaxed and dropped her arms. "If that's all. Come here the both you." She spread her arms and gestured for them to come forward.
Both Sabine and Ezra rushed towards the hug, smiling as Hera embraced them.
Hera kissed their heads. "Let's not do that again. You had me worried sick! I love you both so much. I'm glad you're alright."
Hera smiled. It was good to know her family was safe.
