A couple of days had passed as It was a rather hot day as Anya and the others were packing their things.
"Maan I can't believe we're Sophomores now, It's quite fascinating to think about that…" Russell had spoken to his friends as he had put his backpack on while he was met with nods from everyone else.
"You're right, It's been quite a year. I've met you, Nancy, Mai, Calvin, and everyone else so I must say I'm quite blessed to have such wonderful people in my life" Anya had spoken back with a smile on her face while she was packing the last of her things as she looked around the classroom that were filled with wonderful memories as she heard Charlotte beginning to speak.
"I must say freshman year was quite the experience for me and mainly because I got into a relationship while also accepting and loving myself at the same time but I must thank each and every one of you for sticking with me for all of these months, I wish everyone a good summer and I hope we can share the same classes for the next school year" Charlotte had spoken to her friends as she let out a smile as she was finally done packing her school stuff.
"Same here, I'm going to Scotland on Sunday so I won't be able to see everyone until August but It's honestly been a pleasure meeting everyone and while my school year was short, I still had a good time with everyone. I was pretty lonely when I was a kid so I never had any friends but I can say with full confidence that everyone here made my days better and that I can call everyone here friends.." Nancy had spoken back to everyone in a warm tone of voice as she let out a smile indicating that she was content with the friends that she had made.
"You're right, I was in the same page as you since I had to leave my country so that I could have a better life here and while I may experience hate simply because of my ethnicity, All of that doesn't hurt me because I have my wonderful friends who's always gonna love me no matter what so, I thank everyone in this room for showing me kindness and accepting me and I hope to see everyone next school year" Mai had spoken out to everyone as she had bowed as a sign of respect as eventually she and everyone else began to depart the classroom as they started to walk towards the classroom exit.
"Charlotte? What seems to be the plans for summer? I know It's gonna be pretty lonely without me or Nancy since we're gonna be going away for the summer but I know Emma and the others are gonna keep you company" Anya had asked her three friends while opening the door for them so they could exit the classroom first while she followed after them.
"I might go on a few dates with Emma, help with my family, and probably have some time by myself so that's pretty much my plans for the summer and I might have to get rid of my half up pigtails as well since I want something curly" Charlotte had answered back with a smile on her face which surprised Anya.
"That's wonderful and I can't wait to see your new hairstyle once I get back from San Francisco but I'm glad to hear all about your plans" Anya had spoken back to her friend as she and the others finally arrived at the school exit.
"Say, do you think we'll ever see Miss Joyce next year? She seemed like a very nice teacher" Russell had asked Anya as his question was met with a nod from his friend which made him glad.
"Of course, I heard Miss Joyce might teach math for the next school year for sophomores so let's hope we have her again" Anya had answered back with a smile on her face as she opened the school doors to allow her friends to exit the building first as she went after them.
"I guess this is goodbye to you and Nancy until summer is over. It's been a blast hanging around with you guys but I gotta head home before my mother worries but I hope everyone has a great summer, see ya!" Russell had spoken out to his friends as he waved everyone goodbye before turning the other direction to head back home while everyone said their goodbyes as well.
"Yeah, I guess I better start heading out as well since I gotta pack for Sunday and my family expects me to be back at a certain time but I hope that you and the others have a blessed summer" Nancy had spoken to everyone as she waved goodbye to everyone.
"I hope that you enjoy your summer, my good friend!" Mai had spoken back to her friend as she and the others saw Nancy smiling back at them before leaving the scene as Anya, Charlotte, and Mai were the only ones left.
"My mother should be picking me up any moment now so I'll be waiting here until she arrives so you both can go without me, okay? It's honestly been a fun year so I can't wait for next school year" Mai had spoken out as she was met with Anya and Charlotte smiling back at her.
"Okay but please stay safe and we hope you have a wonderful summer as well, We shall see you later…" Anya had spoken back as she and Charlotte waved their friend goodbye with smiles on their faces as the pair proceeded to start walking from the school.
"Anya, It's pretty fascinating that we've made so much friends during the school year, I know we keep repeating this but I feel blessed for all of the friends that I've made and I also feel blessed for my girlfriend as well but I'm just hoping that we can all make it to graduation together.." Charlotte had spoken to Anya as her words were met with Anya nodding her head in agreement.
"I agree, I remember it was just me and you for most of the year but it seems that we've made some pretty wonderful friends along the way.." Anya had spoken back as the two girls shared a smile together while Charlotte raised her pinky and pointed at Anya's direction which made her curious.
"Let's make a pinky promise, okay? Our promise is that our friendship will last for an eternity and that no matter what happens, We'll always be there for each other" Charlotte had spoken out to her friend as she saw Anya raising her pinky as well.
"I promise, No matter what, we'll always be best friends until the day that we die…" Anya had spoken back as she and Charlotte successfully did their pinky promise as the friends swore that their strong friendship will continue to grow and last an eternity as both girls were also excited for the fun summer that was awaiting them.
