On Earth
In a store house Spectra was sleeping while Gus went out to get food who left his jacket as a blanket for his master Spectra. When suddenly he woke up and put his mask on.
Later Gus had just came back with a bag of food and as he entered the store house he said "Master Spectra wake up, did you know that earth has juice in box?" as he walked he notice his jacket had moved and there was no site of Spectra "Master?"
Meanwhile
Dan and Baron were taking a running exercise, while their bakugan were on rail guards Drago and Hydranoid used their feet to keep up while Nemus had to hop, while Dan was singing
"Bakugan!"
"Bakugan is lots of fun!"
"Brawlers got'em on the run!"
"Left! Right! Left Right Pick up Baron. Finish line!" Dan stopped with his hands up while baron was exhausted "You're trying to kill me" he said
"Poor Baron looks ready to collapse" Mira said
Dan then said "Hurts so good" Dan and Hydranoid hopped on his shoulders "You're hard Dan" Hydranoid said "It's what he does" Drago said
Dan then replied to Hydranoid "Thanks Hydranoid, but when I think of Shun Ace and Marucho battling alone on New Vestroia I can't just sit here and do nothing you know. So I'm gonna train and stay in fighting shape". A voice then came "Say 'Cheesy'" A flash then shot them causing them to blink and then they turned to who took the picture
"Runo?" Dan said
"Now I'll have to take another one, you totally blinked" she joked
"Hey, a new camera? That's cool" Drago and Hydranoid hopped off Dan and landed on the Kuso's mail box.
"I borrowed it from my dad. When things get tough shots like these remind me why we battle" Runo said
"Let me take one" Dan reached for the camera
Then Runo moved it away from his reach "No way, you'll break it! You probably with throw it like a Bakugan!"
"I will not, just give it!"
"Hey! Hands off, get your own camera!"
Clouds start to come over to them with thunder
With Spectra
Spectra was think of time he offer the resistance to work with him to help free the Bakugan and telling them about what happened to their bakugan being turned into bronze statues for Prince Hydron and Dan and Drago turning down the offer.
"You spend too much time thinking of the past, what's done is done" said an old woman fortune teller in a tunnel under a bridge where Spectra was walking in "Luckily I can tell what your future holds in my crystal ball. Oh it's really bad. You'll suffer a terrible fate if you stay on the path you've chosen."
Spectra chuckle and moved along.
At the storehouse, it was raining and Gus was pacing, then Spectra came in "Master! I thought you ditch me. You shouldn't go out on your own, this world is so strange. I thought you got hit by a bus or something, you should have called me or- or left a note master."
"Since when are you my mother Gus?" Spectra said grabbing some food that Gus brought
"Since never, but you keep me completely in the dark, you treat those battle brawler with more respect, I don't get why we need to have them on our side I'm as good as a brawler as any of them except Dan Kuso"
Spectra sat on a box holding a juice box "You don't get it Gus" Gus turned to his master and Spectra turned to him "It's not the battle brawlers that we need. It's the power of their Bakugan."
Spectra stood up "I'm tired of wait, make contact with Dan Kuso. I tried to make him see reason, now I'll have to take his Pyrus Dragonoid by force." He then crushed his juice box
The Kuso residence
Mira, Baron and Dan had just come inside, remove their shoes and Baron tried drying his bare feet Mira rubbed her hair and Dan wiped his jacket "Man, we're totally soaked" Dan said
Miyoko came over and said "You kids are flooding the hallway"
"I'll mop it up right away Master Dan's mom" Baron said "Beats more running"
"I thought he liked running" Dan said
His mom then said "oh, he does just not a ten mile run in the rain" she then left
Dan then said "Too much huh?"
"A little hot chocolate will cheer you both up" Mira said and then left as well
"Ow yeah with marshmallows" Dan said Hydranoid the leaped off his shoulder and follow Mira leaving Dan and Drago to themselves. Dan then turned around and sighed the popped his head when a mechanical fly appeared in front of him "I know you" Dan said
The fly then projected at hologram of Spectra "Dan Kuso"
"Spectra!"
"I Challenge you to another Bakugan battle if you dare, let's settle our differences once and for all, alone, after all it won't be any fun if the others interfere like last time, now will it?"
"You want a one on one battle huh? That sounds good to me and I know the perfect place for it too" Dan said
"It's your territory, you pick the spot" Spectra said
Later Mira came back to the front door "Dan, you coming?" she notice he was there "Dan? No way he's gone another run?" She then notice that his boot s were gone as well.
With Spectra and Gus
"Why I can't I go with you? If something goes wrong you might need me and Vulcan." Gus said
"Do you truly believe that I can't defeat one foolish Earthling?!" Spectra said
"No, no way" Gus then got on his knees and bowed "Dan Kuso is no match for your devastating power Master Spectra, forgive me I was just kidding"
"Glad to hear it Gus" said Spectra
They both exited out of the store house and into the rain
"Its bad weather for a Pyrus battle" Gus said
"We are not afraid of a little rain, right Helios?" Spectra asked
"hha, no rain can dowse the flames that burn within me!"
"You are eager for a rematch?" Spectra said with a smile
Helios answered "Yes. The Dragonoid wouldn't have defeated me without the power of the perfect core I must have revenge"
In the Kuso's Family room
Baron and Mira were sitting across from each other when Runo came into the room with Hydranoid on her shoulder "Hi guys"
"Master Runo" Baron said
"Hey where's Dan?" Runo asked
"Isn't he with you?" Baron asked
"He's gone. He just took off somewhere in the rain, maybe I should have tried to follow him or something." Mira said worried
"He took off? Oh man that's never a good sign" Runo said "Dan doesn't go looking for trouble, trouble sure looks for him" She added looking at the photo of him took earlier.
Dan and Spectra had arrived at dome stadium and both walked out on to the field
"Right here I have home-field advantage. This is where I finally took out Masquerade" dan said putting on his gauntlet
"Ha, it won't help you" Spectra said putting his Gauntlet on too
"Gauntlet activated"
Gauntlet power strike!" they both said unison
Time had been frozen and Dan through down his gate card "Gate card set" he then threw in Drago
"Bakugan Brawl, Flame on Drago lets show them how it's done" Drago raised into his natural form
And now it was Spectra's turn
"You're no match for my all powerful, Pyrus Helios, Bakugan Brawl. Helios Stand!" Helios raised to his natural form
"We meet again Helios" Drago said
"hm, I've been waiting for a rematch Dragonoid today I will show you what true power!" Helios said
"Bring it on"
"You don't look so tough Dragonoid"
"Oh yeah? Let's show'em Drago" Dan activate an ability "Ability activate "Burning Dragon"
Helios: 600g
Drago: 600g
Drago send fired a ball of fire and hits Helios "Feel the burn?" Dan said
The flames faded away revealing Helios to be undamaged shocking Dan and Drago "What?" "No way!"
"Hmm, is that all you got?" Helios taunted
"We're just getting started" Dan answered "Double ability activate, fire tornado plus burning tornado!"
Drago spiraled downward and generated fires tornado over himself and herald towards Helios
Drago: 900g
Helios: 300g
"Ha, that won't last" Spectra said "Watch this, ability activate, Burst Core!"
A red bubble shield surrounded Helios and stopped Drago's attack
Drago: 600g
Helios: 600g
"So you got lucky" Dan said
Spectra then said "Not luck, ability activate, General Quasar" Helios opened his mouth and fired.
"That's, Nothing!" Dan activated an ability "ability activate, Fire Shield" Drago's wing went on fire and then wrap in front of him blocking Helios's attack.
How's that" Dan taunted
Spectra smirked and said "fusion ability activate, Omega"
Helios: 800
Drago: 600
Helios's fire boosted breaking Drago's defense and sent him in to ball form and knock Dan down and his life gage to 50%
"Ha, not bad hair case, but not good enough" Dan said
"Really? What a joke, everyone says you're the best of the best, but so far not impressed"
Dan jumped back onto his feet "You're on"
"Then gate card open" Spectra threw down his gate card and both boys threw there bakugan
"Bakugan Brawl, Helios stand"
"Bakugan Brawl, Drago stand"
"Double ability activate, Burning Tornado plus burning Dragon"
Drago fired a fire ball which then got boost by a fire tornado
Helios caught the fire ball "You will not win" he said struggling to keep the fire ball from knocking him down
"No big deal Helios Spectra said
Ability activate, Nova Spiral!" Helios then destroyed the fire ball
"Power level transfer complete" the gauntlet computer announced
Drago: 400
Helios 600
"What?"
"Ah snap?
Dan and Drago said surprise by the ability
Spectra then added another ability "Lets end this, ability activate void stream" Helios grew a red energy ball in his mouth
"Fine by me, you wanna feel the sting, come pyrus Scorpio" Dan toss Scorpio into the air and then appear in his nature form.
Helios fire his energy ball but Dan quickly reacted "Ability activate, reflection boost!"
Scorpio opened his panels, caught the energy ball then increase its size then sent it back to Helios, blasting him back defeated
"What?" Spectra became bit surprise how Helios was defeated.
Spectra's life gage was now at 45%
Dan caught his bakugan "ha, now you see how we roll, you want more?"
Spectra smirked, and Drago popped up open "Enough games!
"I quite agree, this would all be over but you're afraid to show me your real power" Spectra said
"Don't hold back"
"You asked for it" Dan threw down his gate card "Gate ccard set. Bakugan Brawl! Drago stand!"
Now it was Spectra's turn "Bakugan Brawl, Helios Stand!
"Let me at him" Helios growled
Spectra reassured his partner "Don't worry Helios, we won't hold back this time. Ability activate, General Quasar plus fusion ability Omega" Helios fired a fireball at Drago
Helios: 1000g
Drago: 400g
"That's all? So weak" Dan said "Ability activate, tornado barrier!" Drago opened his mouth and formed a fire tornado around him "Bring on the heat Drago"
Drago: 400
Helios: 500
Helios's attack ricochet of the tornado barrier and into the water by the docks. Dan got frustrated "That got us nothing"
"Ability activate, Maximum Quasar!, this may hurt a bit" Spectra said
Helios fires line of fire, knocking Drago out of the tornado and crash into the seats of the stadium.
Dan rushed to him "Drago!, are you alright?"
"I-I'm okay"
"Ha, so the Dragoind doesn't live up to the hype" Helios said cuasing Drago to growl "Give me more power Spectra, I want to crush this salamander!"
"You got it, lets see what you can do with this" Spectra tossed a new bakugan trap "Come Mechanical bakugan trap, Pyrus Metal fencer" A four legged spider like mechanical bakugan appear
"A mechanical Bakugan Trap? No way" Dan said
"Metalfencer, assume battle unit mode" Spectra ordered
Metalfencers eyes glowed, it then land on Helios's back and moved it canons onto his hand, feet and tail combining their power
Helios and combine Metalfencer: 1200
"Huh? That Bakugan is fully loaded" Dan said
"Ha, ability activate, Red Valkyrie"
Helios and MetalFencer combined: 1600
Drago: 400
Helios fired the canons attached to his hands.
"Drago! Get out there" Dan shouted
Drago flied into the air. "You can fly but you can't hide" Helios said continued his attack
"Gotta give him backup, Drago, help is on the way" Dan said
"Uh, I could use it" Drago said struggling to keep dodging the lasers
Dan put in Drago's Perfect core ability into his gauntlet "Ability activate, Strike Dragon!"
The diamond on Drago's chest pulsed and created a shield blocking Helios's canon fire.
"Pathetic" Helios said
"No, it's beautiful" Spectra said admiring the power Drago is displaying "All that power, concentrated in one human's bakugan, what a waste, but it won't be once I've got my hands on it"
"We've gotta hammer this battle home, come bakugan trap Scorpio!"
Scorpio appeared behind Helios
Drago and Scorpio: 1150g
Helios and Metal Fencer: 1200g
"You're gonna wished you've never messed with us" Dan said then put in three abilities into the his gauntlet "Triple ability activate, Burning Tornado, plus Burning Dragon, plus Fusion ability Pyrus Slayer"
Drago hurled spin toward Helios
"That's the way we brawl"
Drago and Scorpio: 1150 + 200 + 200 + 300=1850
Helios and Metal fencer: 1200-200-100=900
"Your Triple ability means nothing, you've reached the limit, but I've got more" Spectra then added two cards into his gauntlet "Double ability activate, Nova Defenser plus Red Valkeryie, watch and learn"
Drago and Scorpio: 1850-400=1450
Helios and Metal fencer: 900+200+200+200=1500
All Metalfencer's canons rotated pointing at Scorpio and fired, sending him back defeated while Helios shot a fire ball out of his mouth colliding with Drago's attack stopping it completely.
Dan's life gage was now 45% same as Spectra's
Drago was now alone with only 1100gs
"Scorpio! That's it! Ability activate, Burning Dragon"
Drago fired a ball of fire hitting Helios but only knocked Metalfencer off of Helios splitting their power
Helios: 1100
MetalFencer: 400
Drago: 1300
"How did you like that?"
Helios's anger grew "That's the final insult, I was created to destroy everything in my path unleash me Spectra!"
"As you wish" Helios looked at Spectra holding a new card "This forbidden card, will grant your wish, power beyond measure"
"That card, you can't be serious?" Dan said
Spectra threw the card instead of put in his gauntlet "ability activate, Nova Blazer X!"
The card land on Helios chest and then wrapped around his body. His muscles grew that you could see his veins, all around his body.
"What's it doing?" Dan asked a bit scared
Spectra chuckled
"What kind of card is this? I've never seen anything like it" Drago said seeing Helios breathing very heavily
"Its power level os off the hook" Dan said seeing Helios's power continue to increase, while Drago's decreased
"Spectra! No! How could you do this to your partner?"
"By using Chaos ability X, I can give him power beyond his limit. Admit, he is the most magnificent bakugan you have ever seen! Spectra said
Helios continued to breathe heavily until Drago said "Helios resist this power, it's destroying you!"
"Leave me alone, weakling" Helios let out roar sending a wave shooting Drago in to the air.
Helios's power had final reach 1800gs while Drago's returned to his base level 400g
Dan shout "Drago!"
"I'm sorry. Dan" Drago closed his eyes and went into ball form. Dan's life gage went to zero, Spectra had won.
Time was no longer stopped Dan saw as Drago went into Spectra's hand "No it, can't be!"
"Thanks for the Pyrus Dragonoid, Dan Kuso" Spectra walked passed Dan.
Dan the turned to Spectra before he left "Wait a minute, you can't do this!" Spectra stopped and faced Dan. "You want me to just give back Drago"
Dan:*growled*
Spectra held Drago up "you're a brawler like me, so you know you have to win him back in battle" Spectra then continued to leave
DDDRRAAAGGGOOOOOOOO!" Dan shouted
Spectra had walked back through the tunnel where the fortune teller still was. Spectra stopped as soon as she spoke "Oh dear, your future is even darker than before! You've must've done something pretty terrible sense the last time I saw you here."
"I've heard enough of you foolish old woman" Spectra said. The crystal ball cracked and shattered scaring the old woman to fall on the ground. And continued out of the tunnel and stopped and look to the sky "Why should I care what fortune teller think? What matters is reach my ultimate goal, all that matter is the final victory"
Dan fell onto his knees and hammer his fists into the ground "NO! NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!
