Saru's heart felt heavy. He was back on Discovery, on a new mission, and T'Rina was on her way to Ni'Var. They wouldn't see each other again for at least two weeks, but he vowed he would write her whenever he had the chance.
Thinking about their time together, he let a smile grace his face as he entered his quarters and looked around at his plants. He would have to personally thank Tilly for staying onboard and tending to them while he was away.
Pulling out the photo of himself and T'Rina, Saru placed it next to his bed.
