Author: Here we are. Ash vs Sabrina. No huge prologue, just remember to favorite, follow, and review and here we go.
Ash and friends just made their way to the Saffron City gym. "Ready Ash?" Brock asked his friend. Ash nodded as they went in and were greeted by a tall man with glasses.
"Are you here for a battle?" the man asked. Ash nodded. "Follow me." The man said. The man led them to a battlefield where a green haired woman was sitting on a throne on one side. The woman floated down.
"I am Sabrina. I will battle you and if you defeat me, you'll get a Marsh Badge." Sabrina said. "Thank you. You may leave now." Sabrina said to the man. He nodded and left. "It will be four on four." Sabrina said, grabbing a pokeball. Ash went to his side of the field as Brock and Misty went onto a bench.
"Go Mr. Mime." Sabrina said, sending out a mime Pokemon. "Go Wartortle!" Ash said, sending out his turtle Pokemon. "Use Headbutt Wartortle!" Ash said as Wartortle went to ram its head into Mr. Mime's midsection. "Use Confusion." Sabrina said as Mr. Mime's eyes glowed blue and it lifted Wartortle into the air and sent it flying into a wall. "Now Magical Leaf." Sabrina continued. Wartortle slowly got up as Mr. Mime fired a round of glowing leaves at Wartortle, causing an explosion as they made contact.
When the dust cleared, Wartortle was on one knee, having taken a lot of damage. "Wartortle, Water Gun!" Ash said. Wartortle fired a stream of water at Mr. Mime, who put up a Light Screen and greatly decreased the damage without even Sabrina's command. Mr. Mime took some damage, but not a lot. "Now Psybeam." She continued as Mr. Mime fired a beam of psychic energy at Wartortle, causing an explosion. When the dust cleared, it showed a knocked out Wartortle. Ash returned Wartortle and sent out his Butterfree.
"Butterfree! Silver Wind attack!" Ash said as Butterfree blew some glowing wind at Mr. Mime, sending it flying as Mr. Mime fired a Shadow Ball in midair at Butterfree, which hit its wing. "Use Aerial Ace!" Ash said in frustration. Butterfree covered itself in blue streaks and charged at Mr. Mime. "Meet it with Thunder Punch." Sabrina countered. Mr. Mime's fist was covered in electricity, and it punched Butterfree as it got close.
"Signal Beam!" Ash said. Butterfree fired a beam of bug energy at Mr. Mime, sending it skidding into a wall. "Use Psychic." Sabrina said. Butterfree fired a huge blast of psychic energy at Butterfree, causing an explosion that showed a knocked out Butterfree. Ash returned Butterfree in anger and sent out his Gyarados.
"Gyarados! Demolish it with Aqua Tail!" Ash shouted. Gyarados' tail was covered in swirling water, and it slammed it onto Mr. Mime, which knocked out Mr. Mime.
"Hey Brock, doesn't Ash seem to be battling with a lot of anger?" Misty said. Brock nodded and crossed his arms. "He's frustrated since he's never had this much trouble in a battle before." Brock noted. "Good job Mr. Mime." Sabrina said, returning her Mime Pokemon. "Go Slowking," Sabrina said, sending out a Pokemon that looked like Slowpoke, but was on two legs, had arms, and a crown like shellfish on its head.
"Power Gem." Sabrina said as Slowking fired a brown beam of crystalized energy from its forehead at Gyarados, causing it to roar in pain. "Use Giga Impact!" Ash growled. Gyarados was covered in purple and yellow energy, and it charged toward Slowking, which used Protect and blocked it out.
Slowking then fired a Hyper Beam from its gem on its forehead at Gyarados, causing an explosion that knocked out Gyarados. "Pikachu. Go." Ash said in anger. Pikachu nervously jumped onto the battlefield. "Use your Wild Charge attack!" Ash said in frustration. Pikachu covered itself in electricity and charged toward Slowking.
"Slowking, use Psychic." Slowking's eyes glowed as it stopped Pikachu with psychic energy, and sent it ricocheting into the wall, causing it to squeak in pain. "End this farce of a battle with Water Pulse." Sabrina said as Slowking fired a ball of water at Pikachu, causing an explosion that showed Pikachu knocked out.
"This is over. You battled with anger and frustration, ruining your bond and communication with your Pokemon. Don't come back until you've not only got stronger, but you have become more mentally mature." Sabrina harshly criticized. Ash looked down, picked up Pikachu, and ran out of the building with tears in his eyes.
Author: Done! That's right, Ash got decimated. Ash is going to lose sometimes, he's not invincible. And man, Sabrina was harsh about it. By the way, I might not be able to update Arc V today, but I will first thing tomorrow morning. Sorry for the inconvenience and have a good one.
