Chapter 9: Lovesick Louise
(Next morning-Louise room)
"Please don't go. I don't want to be left alone!" Louise begged him as she was holding tightly onto his hoodie with tears about to run down her face.
"I'm just going to do a little landry." Sora said pointing at the basket.
"Liar, I know you're planning to see another girl the second you leave!" Louise didn't believe a word he said tugging on his clothes
"I'm not, I promise I be right back!" Sora said hopping that she would let go.
"Promise?"
"Promise." Sora nodded before taking a long breath outward "Now stay here and I'll be done in a few minutes. Kay!" He calmly replied as Louise narrowed her eyes for a second before giving him a hug as she let go Louise smiled innocently at him.
"Alright! I stay right here." Said Louise as Sora nodded and picked up the of clothes and proceeded to walked out the room.
"Sora."
"Yes?" He asked as Louise had pressed her lips on his cheek startling him as he held his face turning tomato red.
"Come back soon." Louise waved as he picked up the basket of clothes and left the room still red and embarrassed.
(Outside)
Sora place the basket near the fountain and took a deep breath in and out as for a split moment the image of that smile ran through his memory for a second, even that kiss flooded his mind. The keyblade wielder gasped as he shook his head and placed his hand on his heart which was slowly started to beat faster. What was he thinking this isn't Louise talking! Their is no way that was true especially from last night.
Flashback
"Y-Your gave her a love potion!?" Sora blurted out with the petite pink haired mage still clinging onto his side with a joyful look with hearts popping out of her head. Montmorency explained to him that it was actually the result of of potion that she was crafting this afternoon.
"Yeah that right, but I didn't give it to her, she drank it on accident. And when the potion started to take effect you were the first person she saw." The blonde girl finished her explanation.
"Still, why were you making something like this in the first place?" Sora asked as the water mage flinch their is no way she could say that she made it for Guiche so he could stop cheating on her every time she looked away he would hit on a the first girl he sees and it was just annoying. So she wanted to keep him all to herself
"I-I just made it to kill time, you know summer, everyone out doing something! Yeah that's it!" She tried to sound as believable as possible as she hurried to the door.
"Wait a sec!" Sora pulled on her robe stopping her.
"What is it?" Montmorency asked taking back her robe.
"Shouldn't you turn her back? I mean you can't just leave Louise like this." Sora point out.
"Relax the spell isn't permanent, she'll go back to normal in time." She replied.
Sora asked how long it would take a few days to a week as the blonde haired girl started to think how long it would take her replied was a few months probably a year from now. Sora jaw dropped to the ground at what she said with a nervous laugh along with a smile did she really say it would take a year for the effects to wear off he demanded that she turned her back right now!
Montmorency flinched at the slight but of anger he had, she stuttered a bit saying their was nothing she can do about it as she made haste to the door shutting it behind her.
Flashback End
Sora groaned which then turned into a scream as he was rubbing his head violently ruffling it up. A year, it was bad enough for him that he was asleep for a year, she'll be like this for a year! No way their had to be a way to break the spell. l
As he took a few deep breaths contemplating ways to help Louise a familiar black haired maid came in his direction carrying a basket.
"Sora?" The keyblade wielder looked to the side.
"Hey Siesta." Sora greeted.
"Is everything okay?" The black haired girl asked. She heard the sound of screaming and surprised that it was coming from him.
"Well. It's kinda a long story."
(2 minutes later)
"An aphrodisiac?" Siesta said with a hint of surprised in her voice.
"Yep. Montmorency made one last night and Louise drank it on accident. So right she's love struck while not feeling real love." Sora said as he explained the situation
"But. She knows those are forbidden, right?"
"Wha'cha mean?" Sora asked.
Siesta remember their talk from last night. "Right your not from the mainlands. Well simply put, potions such as aphrodisiacs and other that are used to control a person heart are all banned by law."
"Seriously!" He blurted out as Siesta nodded her head
"Yeah everyone knows that."
Sora was taken back by this, it was illegal from creating love potions well at least this is one thing about this world he was alright with to never control a person's heart but that still doesn't explain why-oh wait. Now he figured it out it probably had something to do with her fight with Guiche the other day. She knew what she was doing and she still went with it.
"That explains a lot." Sora said plainly as Siesta tilted her head. "Nevermind, it's nothing. Anyway I don't know what to do?" Sora cross his arms trying to figure out how to turn Louise back to normal. He asked Siesta if she knew anything about potions.
"No sorry. I don't have that much knowledge of potion, maybe one of two of simple things but as advanced as an antidote for a love potion." She said looked with a slight disappointment look oh her face.
"Don't you have anything?" She said as Sora pulled out a vial with a yellow liquid inside of it. Siesta asked what it is as Sora answered to her that it's an elixir. She asks what that is as Sora explained to her that it's a powerful potion great for restoration and healing negative effects. Siesta asked him why doesn't he use it on Lady Vallière explained to her as he put it back in his pocket that it is his last one and he promised himself not to use it unless it was necessary.
"I see now."
"Yeah, I don't want to use this if I have to." He said as the both were trying to think of something to return Louise to normal when suddenly.
"Sora!" A familiar voice was heard the two turned around and saw that it was Louise, ready to burst into tears.
"Louise!" Said Sora
"Liar! Cheater!" She called him out as she ran down the stairs beating on his chest of course he didn't feel anything.
"What!" That was all he could say.
"I love you! I love you so much, yet you were really seeing another girl!" Louise cried out.
"That is not what's happening right now! She was just passing my and we had a chat!"
Sora clarified as the pink haired girl glared at siesta who then turned her attention to her brown haired familiar. She immediately called him a liar and an idiot as she ran back to her room with tears running down her face. Sora immediately chased after her before looking back apologizing to Siesta for cutting their conversation short as he followed the pink hair to girl back to her room.
Meanwhile Siesta just stayed in place but then unknown to her, her left eye began to twitch even though she is under a spell seeing him run after her like that, was she feeling jealously. No this love isn't real but seeing him blow her off and chasing some else just made her upset the next thing she did was quietly walked away attending to her job.
Knock Knock*
Sora chased Louise to her room but she immediately slammed the door behind him she was standing outside hoping that she isn't too upset.
"Louise! Are you okay?" Sora asked to no response "Alright! I'm coming in!"
Sora slowly opened the door keeping his guard up but was mildly startled to see her sitting on the bed with a cute and innocent expression on her face Sora's defense immediately broke but what was even more of a shock was that she was only wearing her shirt and leggings.
"Your so mean..." She said in a teary-eyed voice.
"Uh, Sorry?" Sora wasn't sure how to respond.
"What happened to her skirt?" Sora observed as he noticed something else that was missing from her. "Wait scratch that, where's her underwear!?"
"Louise put something on!" Sora said blushing deeply.
"But, I'm already wearing clothes." Louise said gently
"Pants! I mean pants, or something to cover up the bottom!" Sora corrected, why isn't she wearing her skirt or any panties.
"I don't what too!"
"Why?!" Sora cried out.
"It's because I have no attraction. I know, since I was reminded over and over that day." Sora was confused a little. Wait, was she talking about the fairy inn. "I bet it's why you keep going to other girls, it's because I'm not attractive enough, isn't it? I bet that's also you wouldn't do anything to me."
"That isn't it." Sora replied as he walked to her "I not doing anything to you because your my friend Louise."
"Well I don't want you to see me as a friend or your master..." She pouted as she throw him to the bed now currently sitting onto of him pressing her hands on his chest "...I want you to see me as a woman." She said locking eyes with him as she softly caressed his face.
Sora could only stared at her as word came out of his mouth but nothing sensible was being said and that look in her eyes was more like an animal in heat.
Louise slowly pulled up his shirt and suddenly was feeling his body with a joyful look and suddenly started licking his body.
"Hmmm!" Sora cover his mouth trying not to let any noises escape. She continued licking and caressing his body she soon stop and slowly lean downward ready to kiss him, Sora being completely embarrassed managed to steel his will and pushed her back as well as pull his shirt down. It was enough losing his first kiss he didn't need a repeat anytime soon.
"Louise listen to me! You are not thinking rationally because of a potion you drank."
"That potion has nothing to do with this. Sora everytime I see you, my heart races so fast it makes it difficult for me to breathe." She said as took his head and placed his ear rapidly beating heart "Do you hear it?" He quickly backed off of her and fell off the bed and onto the floor face first.
"Sora are you okay!" Louise was worried about him.
"Yeah I'm okay." Sora replied rubbing the small bruise on his head.
Louise noticed the small bruise on his forehead "Hold still." Louise gave a small kiss on his forehead as she and Sora locked eyes.
"I'm sorry. She responded to him with the most gentle and innocent expression on her face even her words were soft and sincere.
Right now, Sora was focusing on her expression right he was completely lost as he was blushing so hard to prevent anything else from happening he said that he was stepping out for a minute he pick up Delf and walked out the room. Sora was outside the close door and was clutching his chest as soon felt his heart beating uncontrollably as was taking a few deep breaths. This is getting out of hand but how is he supposed to fix this he was down to his last potion well either way, if he doesn't figure out something who knows what will happen!?
He keep wondering how to help Louise when he remembered who was the person that made this in the first place.
"Wait a minute, Montmorency!" Sora remember who was the cause of this "She was the one who made that potion, maybe she can make antidote?" He ran down the hall in search of Montmorency.
[You don't really need to turn her back, do you?] The sword commented [ I say having her being smitten with you is better than getting yelled at.]
"Except you know this isn't right!"
(Guiche and Montmorency)
"So where did you go last night?" Guiche as to his girlfriend and her sudden disappearance.
"Oh, um, well..." She tried to make up an excuse as she was putting vials of liquid on the shelf, when suddenly.
Bam*
"Montmorency I like a word with you." Sora demanded as he stormed into the room. Montmorency was standing there with a vial of liquid in her hand. A frown marred her face before she placed the vial back into the cabinet.
"Would you at least knock?" She barked.
"You have got too turn Louise back to normal! I'm not putting up with this for a year!" Sora shouted to her a Guiche was flat out confused.
"Wait? What is going on?" Guiche demanded.
"She made a love potion that she was going to give you, but Louise drank it by mistake." Sora answered as a looked of surprised dawned on Guiche's face where as Montmorency was shocked. She couldn't believe it how did he figure it out!
"You made a love potion?" Said Guiche as the young girl twiddled her fingers. She babbled a bit as Sora cut in.
"We can talk about it later. You need to turn her back." Sora ordered.
"Sorry. Like I said just wait untill the effects wear off, right now this is out of my hand." She replied to Sora who's eye started to twitch but soon remember something Siesta said about how aphrodisiacs are illegal he didn't want to do this but she really wasn't giving him a choice.
"Yeah, you're probably right maybe Osmond would know what to do." He said as Montmorency gasped in horror.
"Wait?! What!"
"I'm sure with his years of knowledge he could easily make a cure for Louise. But then, how who he react if he learned that Louise took a love potion, especially if found out one of his students made it." He walked to the blonde haired girl who was as pale as a ghost and whispered inner ear.
"I know it's illegal to make potions that are used to control a person. So tell me do you look good in black and white stripes?" He said in a low voice as sweat ran down her face.
As Sora pulled away and was about to make his leave Montmorency pulled on his jacket stopping him from existing "Alright! Alright you win! Just please don't tell anyone!" Montmorency pleaded before growling.
"So you can break the spell?"
"Well... Yes and no." She said as both boys gave a confused expression soon asked her what she meant " I mean yes, I can make an antidote but I don't have all the ingredients. I'm missing just one crucial ingredient: a spirit tear." She explained to the boys who now understood what she what talking about.
"A spirit tear?" Sora repeated.
"I think I heard that before. Aren't they supposed to be a rare item?" Said Guiche
"Yes they are and also very difficult to find. You won't be able to purchase them at any store, luckily I know where we can find one, but it's not a guarantee we can get it if we go there?"
"If that's the case, why not we go tomorrow and see the problem?" Sora said as Montmorency was whining.
"WHAT?! I don't want to go tomorrow." She complained.
"Then I guess I'll have to go to Osmond."
"Eug?! Okay, okay we'll go tomorrow!? Happy!" Montmorency slumped in defeat she could believe that he would blackmail her like this but really he had no joy in this either. With that done, he took a few steps to the door and rested his hand on the handle but stop and turned around.
"Tell me, why did you make such a potion from the start?" Sora asked as Montmorency started to blush.
She hesitated for a moment "I...I didn't want Guiche to keep cheating on me." She replied with a little shade of red.
"And were you okay with that?"
"I would have turn him back if it got too annoying."
Sora shook his head "That's not what I'm asking. I mean would you be okay with hollow feelings?" He said to her as she didn't know how to respond back "I can tell you wouldn't have been happy, you would just be enslaving his emotions like that."
"You wouldn't know that? You don't what your talking about?"
"Your right, I probably don't." Sora replied
"But listen I know that you can't just go and try to force a person to love you that's nothing more then lying to them and yourself if you think it's okay with you that's just lying too yourself as well." Sora turn to Guiche "And you're no better either, going behind her back and being unfaithful sometimes, I get it if you want to talk too another girl but you don't need to flirt constantly especially if your doing right in front of her. Did you ever stop and think that you might be hurting her?"
"Uh-I." Guiche stuttered
"You two need to talk to one another about how you should feel, instead of trying too manipulate each other's hearts if theirs one thing I can't stand it's people who don't consider how they feel for each other. People who don't care about others feelings, and guys who have no consideration for the people that they value are just the worse! You guys have something special so why betray each others trust? I don't want to sound mean, but if you guys can't try and work through it, then maybe you shouldn't be together!" Sora finished his lecture as he shut the door behind him.
The words Sora said really got to them as one looked at the ground and the other staring at the door they stayed silent for a few minutes before Guiche decided to talk.
"So.. you made a love potion that was meant for me?" The playboy asked
"Ye-Yes." Montmorency said
"I should be upset, but I'm actually kinda flattered that you would go that far." He replied to his girlfriend with a smile.
Montmorency on the other hand dismissed it
"Hey! It doesn't have to be you per se. Dating is just to kill time and I could've used it on anyone." She said to her boyfriend "Okay I admit, it's my fault for what happened to Louise, but your the cause of this, you always go around flirting with other girls you don't have the slightest idea how that makes me feel. You cheating on me over and over again gets annoying." She said scowling him a bit as she started at the floor with a mix of anger and sorrow on her face, when Guiche came up to her cupped her chin and kisses her on the lips.
Montmorency eyes widen then close fully embracing his affection.
Guiche pulled away from her and looked at her her directly *Sigh*. "Your right I do apologize for that, but you should know that my heart belongs to no one else but you just because I may mingle with another girl doesn't mean I don't love you."
She looked at him "Really?"
"Really. My heart belongs only to you." He told her as she reached out to him asking for another kiss.
(Louise's room-night)
The team chose to venture outside of the school ground to a place call Lagdorian Lake near the border to Gallia. She said that it will take a whole day for them to reach the lake so they had better be prepared for a long trip. Meanwhile Louise was impatiently waiting for her familiar to return he just left her alone to the point tears were running down her face.
But as they were getting ready for bed Sora was chasing Louise around the room because she snagged a little someone of his.
"Come on Louise! Give me my phone back?" Sora cried out.
"No. What were you doing on it?" She said as she evaded Sora again.
"I was writing something in it." He was telling the truth ever since he was allegedly summoned to this world he's been keeping a journal on his phone he may not be no Jimmy Cricket but he wasn't go to just leave a lot of things that has happened unwritten.
"I bet you were writing something about a girl." Louise made a conclusion
"You couldn't be any more off the mark. Besides you can't read it anyway."
"Then tell me who's it for!" Louise demanded answers not believing a single word he said as he continued to chase her.
Sora quickly though how he is going to get it back from her their game of cat and mouse went on for a little while, he soon stepped to the right and disappeared Louise looked around when called her name as he was holding his phone. When suddenly Louise tackled Sora on the bed.
Thud, Snap*
Sora and Louise were on the bed together with Louise cuddling against the right his body and Sora groaning and holding his gummiphone up towards his and Louise. Sora opened his eyes and saw a selfie of him and Louise, his mouth gaped open at the picture how did this happen, did he press the camera on accident. He thought as he sat up right with the love sick girl looking at the photo too and she loved how the image turn out.
"Wow it's great." She said loving how the image looked.
"Huh. I guess it's a good shot." Sora replied as he soon realized what he just said no, the photo might be nice but the shot was in accident. And with Louise still like this she would more then so be upset if he tried to delete it he'll just have to do it another time.
"Well we should go to bed we have a long journey ahead of us." He told Louise as he was about to get off Louise was clinging to his arm.
"Sleep with me."
"No!"
"Pretty please?" She gave a puppy dog eyes. Sora blush gritting his teeth as he gave a sigh and dropping his head.
"Fine, but don't do anything weird alright?" Sora said and Louise nodded her head as he and Louise crawled into bed Sora blush big time but soon disappeared well sleeping in the same bed is different then just sleeping with...Right?
(Next morning)
The morning sun rose up high and ray of light came from out from the curtain in Louise's bedroom. Today is the day that everyone is supposed to go to the lake and get this spirit tear, surely the earth and water mages we're likely getting ready but as for Sora he groaned then yawned trying to open his eyes. But if someone were to look closer they could see dark circles on them.
"I didn't get enough sleep." Sora had been up for a few more hours last night. He had slept with Riku and Kairi when they were still children but this was completely different he soon realized that he was sleeping next to a girl. The keyblade wielder couldn't really get a wink of sleep until later.
Anyway he had to get ready for the trip but as he was trying to get out of bed he could feel a weight on top his body "Why…do I feel so...heavy?" he grumbled, feeling that something was directly above him he pulled off the covers and on top of him he found Louise snoring cutely.
A bead of sweat ran down his face as he sighed, seriously when did she get on top of him? Sora was too tired to say anything about this but his expression changed a bit, the keybearer got a better look at the pinkette who was still asleep, actually getting a closer look at her she seemed really pretty. Sora shook his head getting rid of those ideas he already has someone back home and wouldn't do anything to betray her.
"Louise, come on. It's time to wake up." Sora light tapped her as her eyes were slowly opening.
"Oh, good morning Sora." Said Louise rubbing her eyes.
"Morning." He said back "Come on, we need to get ready."
"Can I have a morning kiss?" She said
"Come on. Not now." Sora groaned as Louise pinned him to the bed "Wait. What are you-?" Sora was stunned for a moment before Louise started sucking on his neck. "Mhh-Ahh." His voice slipped as Louise pulled of of him leaving a passion mark.
"You have nice skin, and your eyes are as blue as the ocean. Just beautiful. And the sounds you make" She observed running her hand through his hair. Sora's mouth to wave and the mage moved her hand from his head to his face. "You know we don't have to go anywhere, do we? It can just be you and me, no one else, alright?"
Suddenly she stood up on the bed and began stripping off her sleep wear as well as her panties. The young hero had shielded his eyes, this is exactly what he was worried about.
"Put you underwear back on!" Shouted Sora
"Tell me. Do you hate me?"
"No."
"And what do you see me as?" She asked and Sora asked her what is she talking about. "Do you see as just a friend, your master, or a woman?"
"Didn't you say that yesterday?"
"Yes and what am I?"
Sora didn't understand what she is talking about. Of course their friends, and times he has his pack to Louise, he's gotten use to the and obviously she is a girl very obvious, just what is she trying to say.
"Like I said, we're friends Louise." He replied to her as their was a silence. Sora took his hands off his face and saw tears running down her face he started to panic.
"*Sniff* I knew it you don't love me!" She cried. "Your the only person who was ever nice to me, when everyone else called me a zero your the only who didn't make fun of me, you said it right." She continued to cry as Sora took off his jacket and adorn it on Louise.
"Yeah I remember." He said as Louise stopped the tears.
"That was the first time someone said that to me. You didn't care if I couldn't use magic. I've been an outcast my whole life and then you came. I never thought that someone could say 'I don't care if you can't use magic.' I was never expecting that, and when you told me that their are other people like you, or rather keyblade wielders people who are granted power despite not being nobles, I couldn't help but be envious."
"I..."
"But then you told me that you and others like you. You use your powers to help others, and you put yourself in places you shouldn't be, but despite that you save so many lives, honestly you are more noble then anyone I have ever known." She clinged to his shirt as her quartz colored eyes and his cerulean ones were in a deep gaze with each other in what felt like an eternity.
Sora was completely speechless he knows that all this is the potion talking but, she wasn't wrong at first he had no idea that she was having trouble with her magic or that she was getting jealous of him either but during the ball Sora was open to her and finally she was open to him. Their feelings responded to each other and now they are a little closer.
Completely unaware Sora slowly wrapped his arms around her, holding her. But before Sora could say something back to her.
"Hey are you awake-Gah!" Sora turn his head to the door and saw Guiche with a shock look on his face.
"Guiche?" Sora replied as his senses soon came back to him. He relinquish his hold and stood up "Hey-um. This is not I-." He tried to speak but the door was immediately slammed.
(Behind the door)
"So are they aware yet?" Montmorency asked, approaching her boyfriend "And what is with that look?"
"Oh no reason." He told her and proceeded to walk from the door not sure if he should explain it to her.
Meanwhile Sora dropped to his hands and feet crying out that it was a misunderstanding.
(Outside front gates)
Guiche, Montmorency, and Sora each rounded up a horse to prepare for the trip to Lagdorian Lake. When Guiche met up with the two he asked what was going on in that room, Sora replied to him was a lot but nothing happened, nothing at all but that didn't excuse the fact that something did happened as the earth mage gazed at the hickey on the keybearer neck.
Sora quickly covered the mark on his flesh trying to erase those images from his head but was started to get a mix of confusion and embarrassment was on his face, just what the heck was he doing, she isn't herself yet at the same time, yet at the same time he placed his hand over his chest she's a complete different person but why is his heart pounding?
Wanting to change the subject Sora had something on his mind as he was sitting on his horse with Louise sitting on his lap and the two blonds sat on theirs ready for departure "So can I ask you something?"
"What?"
"What's so important about this lake anyway?" Sora asked
"You dolt." Montmorency said "Lagdorian Lake is not just any lake. You see within the lake itself, their lies a water spirit she's resided within those waters for hundreds the years, maybe even longer than that." She explained "And if you're wondering no, we don't need an actual tear what we need is just a small portion of her body."
"And you think she'll give it to you?"
"I don't know?" Montmorency was unsure "My family and other water class mages do form contract's with the spirit, but I've only been their once when I was still a little girl. I don't know if she still remembers?"
"Well no time like the present, right?" He said with enthusiasm "Let go. Hiya!" Sora's horse began galavanting off leaving both Guiche and Montmorency behind.
"Wait a minute! You don't know where it's at!" Montmorency called out chasing after him leaving Guiche to follow them as fell. "Seriously follow me!" She took the lead having the boys follow her.
"You know, you don't have to come with us." Sora said to Guiche who was riding by his side.
"On the contrary, what kind of knight would I be if I didn't escort you both!" Guiche said with a hearty laugh as Sora grin back.
"Well hope you can keep up." To Guiche's ears it sounded like a challenge which he accepted as they began to make way to their destination. Meanwhile Louise was pouting at how chummy he and Guiche were she clinged to him telling him that he belongs to him. The boys sweat dropped saying that is most definitely wrong.
(A few hours later)
"Here we are. Just up ahead is where Lagdorian Lake is."
"Then what are we waiting for? Onward!" He declared racing ahead of his friend and girlfriend. Montmorency question as how someone so simple-minded like him could even be a knight? Sora reply to her was just Guiche being himself besides he was just as eager as him he's never seen a spirit before so this might be fun.
The girl looked at him with dead fish eyes and with sweat dripping down her face she started to think that Guiche isn't the only simple person here and didn't he say that he wanted to turn Louise to normal well their may be differences but they both seem to be birds of a feather. Her thinking was interrupted when she and Sora heard Guiche screaming.
"Guiche!" The two said in a panic as the rode the horses to where he was. They soon made it past the hill and saw that he was a struggling in the water. Sora hopped off his horse and jumped in the water carrying him with his arm over his shoulder as he pulled him to land.
"*Cough Cough* Thank you." He thank his brunette friend for saving him as he kept coughing up water and gasping for air.
"It's fine." He said patting him on the back "So...You can't swim can you?" He asked as he shook his head. Ignoring the two soaked boys Montmorency observed the lake with suspicion.
"What the hell?"
"What's wrong?" Guiche asked catching his breath.
"The area, it's flooded." She said as Sora and Guiche looked at what she was talking about and much to their expression she was right, trees, houses and lots of land was underwater.
"Almost everything is submerged."
"Was their a storm or something?"
"I don't think so. The spirit of water might be angry about something though?" Montmorency assumed as the guys were questioning the she just said.
"Angry?"
She nodded "Something must have happened to her that made her flood the area, because the last time I was here with my father it wasn't like this." The female blonde told Sora and Guiche "Anyway, we should wait till sunset. She wouldn't appear otherwise." The guys agreed with her they all chose to wait.

Montmorency took something out of the bag attached to her waist. It was a tiny frog. It was bright yellow with many black spots. Montmorency put the frog in the palm of her hand, it stared up at her inquisitively.
"Alright Robin. I need your help to get in contact with a friend of mine." She reached into her pouch and pulled out a needle and pricked her finger a small drop of blood fell on to her familiar "Now I need you to go and find her. With this she should know me, tell the ancient that residents in the lake that I need to talk to her."
The frog nodded slightly and immediately jumped in the water with a splash following her masters order.
"Now we wait, if she finds her Robin will likely bring her here."
Guiche looked doubtful "Are we sure that she will appear?"
"I'm sure she will."
"I hope your right." Sora said
"Trust me."
The moment she said that a pillar shot up from not that far from where the shore is this action cause Sora to back up a bit and fall on his butt "What is that!?" He said picking his self off the ground
"It her, now listen don't do or say anything to offend her, we won't get the tear and not just that are lives will be in danger." She warned and Guiche and Sora who nodded now she stood in front of the pilar with her eyes closed, arms spread and mouth open "My name Montmorency Margarita La Fère de Montmorency. A spell cater of water and member of a family who is bound to you from long ago. Oh great spirit of water if you recall me in anyway, appear to me in a form and manner we may understand!"
Soon, it took the shape of Montmorency, who was standing in front of the spirit at the time. The spirit was huge, about the side of a tall building. It looked down at Montmorency.
"That's the water spirit!" Sora said full of surprise amd in awe.
[Ah, the memories. It's been too long.] Delf said much to Sora's curiosity that is he talking about?
(I remember you, you thing.) The spirit said harshly.
Surprisingly, Montmorency didn't even look insulted. She even bowed to the spirit. "Great water spirit. I am grateful that you remember me, now I have a request to ask of you."
(Request?)
"We desire a part of your body." She said bluntly.
(I decline.)
"See I told you. Now let's go back." Sora couldn't believe how easy Montmorency gave up like this Sora step up in front of water spirit.
"Please you got ta help us!" Sora shouted as Montmorency grabbed him by the arm telling him to remember the warning but Sora ignored her words and took back his arm "Listen a friend of mine is in trouble because of a potion, and we really need your help to turn her back ta normal."
Sora balled up his right hand in to a fist and placed it over his heart hoping his feeling would reach her. "Please I'm not asked for a lot, just one tear." He replied back to the spirit who went silent she could see something in this creature...no this boy had something familiar about him.
The spirit stared at him for the longest time before her shape began to morph again. It was only a second before the water began to reconstruct itself. When it was done, Sora's eyes widen and the water spirit took the shape of a girl again, but this time she was of a person he knew all to well, she had short hair and was wearing what looked to be a necklace with a silver bead attached to it
Sora pupils started to shake still not believing what he is seeing "...Kairi?"
(So it was you.) The spirit said.
"Wha-What?" Sora gasped
(Nothing. So you wish for a piece of my body, correct?) The spirit said (Very well then. You may have it...) Sora smiled big but not before she had something else to say (...But only under one condition.)
"What is it?"
(I wish for you to stop the assailants that are doing harm to me.) Replied the spirit.
"Someone's hurting you?" Asked Sora.
(Yes. Defeat them and I promise I will gift you one of my tears.) The spirit said. She remained for a few moments before her form dissolved, leaving a pillar of water to splash beneath the surface of the lake. Sora stared at the spot for a second in wonder why, why did she take on that appearance.
Guiche and Montmorency shook his shoulder snapping him out of whatever trance he was in. "You ok?"
"Huh, Um. Hey it's nothing." The tone in his voice didn't sound like nothing what is on his mind "Anyway we heard her. She'll give us her tear if we stop the guys hurting her."
"NO WAY! I'm now fighting!" Montmorency said as she crossed her arms.
"Then hang back. I'll take care of this." He to Montmorency as he heard Guiche call out to him.
"Now hold on. I will assist you Sora." Guiche said as he flipped his hair dramatically.
"Thanks. But it might be a little dangerous." Said Sora but Guiche didn't look phased.
"I appreciate you looking out for me but really I want to help. Remember it is my responsibility for what happened to Louise, if anything I know you would probably do the same for me if I was in her shoes. And besides we are friends, are we not." He said having his hand up high Montmorency was a bit surprised that he voluntarily agree to fight normally he would cower and hide but not this time. And he his taking responsibility for once
Sora was a bit impressive himself as he high five the young playboy accepting his help. Montmorency smile at them for being good friends maybe Guiche has changed a bit from what he said to him actually when he first met Sora he thought him just a plain commoner and she was no different but he has a way to get at people but in a good way. Now the trio walked into the forest to plan their strategy.
(Night)
The stars were shining brightly, reflecting off the surface of the water as Sora, Guiche, Montmorency, and Louise were waiting for the attack on the spirit.
The team were all sitting face to face with one another thinking of a plan to deal with the intruders that were attacking the water spirit. But what still doesn't make sense is why would someone do something like this in the first place, however how did they get to her in the first place.
Montmorency thought for a second as to how they are attacking her at the bottom of the lake most likely it was spell that is allowing them to manipulate air. Sora asked what that would do. Guiche enlightened him by saying that they could create a bubble of air that is allowing them to walk freely under water.
'Manipulating air' Sounds a bit like his aero spell back on his first adventure. Meanwhile the gang heard the sound of footsteps the peeked behind some trees and saw the people who the water spirit was speaking of they were two of them, wearing black cloaks with hoods covering their faces
Sora looked at the both of them and thought that they're also members of the organization. Yet as he tried to get a better look he noticed that their coats weren't the same as them and he could feel anything bad about them actually their is something about them that felt strangely familiar but why.
"Sora." Montmorency called out his name trying to get his attention.
"Yes."
"Come on we need to go." Said Guiche
The keyblade wielder nodded "Okay." He turned to the pinkette "Louise I need you to stay here, alright?" He said too her as he and Guiche made their way to the enemy.
"So you got a plan?" Asked Sora
"Yes." Replied Guiche "It's obvious that they're well trained. Charging in head strong probably isn't the smartest idea, we probably can take them by surprised though. I'll create a distraction while you prepare for a counter attack."
Sora agreed with his plan simple it may be but a good strategy "Alright. Give me the sign when your ready."
Nodded the flamboyant blonde "Be careful."
"I will. And hey, about what I said to you guys yesterday-."
Laugh Guiche "No you had a right to say that. I realize that maybe I was hurting my love and you were right when I wasn't considering how she might feel."
"And what happened?"
"Nothing really, we did talk to each other and laid out our feelings she said she didn't want me to cheat on her, yes I may make a pass at a woman however, my heart belongs to her and no one else. Just because I interact with other women doesn't mean I don't love her."
Sora smiled at his words "You really do care about her don't you?"
"Of course I do."
"Does this also mean you're not gonna go flirt around again?"
"I can't say I won't."
"Just don't go crazy got it. I won't be protecting you next time." Sora said to him as his hand were behind his head.
He said to Guiche as he promised not to go overboard, the two boys laugh as the keyblade then wave to his allie as he got into position, the male blonde his behind some tree preparing for his plan of attack it's pretty funny. Here he thought that he only had to partake on a small trip never did he thought that he be stopping mysterious people, ever since Louise summoned him it's been adventures almost everyday.

Guiche moved from his spot and the raised his wand and started chanting a spell. "Earth, the great mother! Answer my words and become a moving wall." He said as he waved his rose.
Immediately, the ground shifted before it burst forth in several columns. The columns shot at the two mages as they stood there. However, they were extremely quick to react. The one with the staff immediately turned towards the earth before thrusting the staff forward. A gust of wind erupted from the tip, completely destroying the earth columns before they got too close.
Guiche narrowed his eyes before he waved his rose a few more times, causing more earth to raise from the ground and attack the mages. This time, the other hooded figure extended a wand before a large fireball shot forth and consumed the earth easily. The figure other person pointed their staff at Guiche before a large gust of wind shot at the earth user.
Another pillar of earth came up from the ground as a shield nearly blocking the attack from the hooded mage, however as the earth pillar crumbled a ball of fire was shot at Guiche however in the mist of the battle a ball of ice equal in size and and countered the fire ball creating steam that evaporated.
Sora jumped from the forest and was in the air grabbed the sword from his back and summoned his iconic kingdom key keyblade as he landed besides Guiche. Sora charged at them with sword and keyblade in hand however they retaliated by casting combinations of fire and wind. But Sora slashed through each attack with no trouble as he ran close the one with the staff casted an ice spell Sora jumped in the air however the moment he did that the taller one immediately cast a fire ball at him.
"Reflera." Sora cross both blade and put up a dome to protect himself from the fire as both spells collided creating a small explosion Sora skid on the grass and the two mages were stumbling to the ground, however, both quickly recovered, pointing the wand and staff at Sora, who was standing there with sword in hand.
Sora smirk, rubbing his nose at the two of them, they were pretty strong... honestly this was getting quite exciting.
He was just about to launch at the two mages before a pink-haired girl stood right in the middle of the battle. Sora's eyes widened as he recognized the person before she raised her wand. He braced for impact.
"DON'T YOU DARE HURT SORA!" Louise shouted as she whipped her want forward. An enormous explosion erupted from Louis's wand, sending both Sora and the two mages flying through the air in opposite directions. Sora rolled over his shoulder before landing on his feed, waiting for the dust to settle.
It didn't take long before he saw Louise and the mages again. Both of their hoods had been blown off by the explosions. And the people underneath their hoods couldn't have been even more shocking recognized the very familiar color of blue and red hair.

"Tabitha! Kirche!" The keyblade wielder exclaimed
The redhead was equally shocked "Sora?" She as she turned around seeing more familiar faces "Wait at minute, Guiche Montmorency, and Louise? What are you all doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing." He put his weapons away and begun explaining.
( a few minute later)
When everything had settled down, Sora had explained the entire situation to Kirche and Tabitha. About how Montmorency brewed a love potion, how Louise drank it by accident, and about needing the tear of the water spirit.
"I see, so that's how it is." Kirche said before she turned to Montmorency. "But why would you make a love potion in the first place?"
Guiche was about to answer when Montmorency stepped on his foot forcing him to stop "Oh you know I was just bored." She lied to the girls with a nervous smile as Sora looked nervously as well knowing she wouldn't really confess why she really made it and really who could blame her.
"So yeah. We really need that tear to turn Louise back." He said as the pinkette was clinging to him like a remora smiling happily, at this point he was getting use to it.
Kirche nodded as she began to understand the situation. "As much as we would like to help you, we have to defeat the water spirit. Lagdorian Lake's water level has been raising for a while now. If Tabitha and I don't stop it, Tabitha is in trouble."
"Why are you guys trying to defeat her in the first place?" Sora asked as the fire mage was trying to think of a excuse without saying anything above her family situation. She said to her friends that Tabitha's family own some of the land here and with the water rising like this their property is receiving erectible damage. So they were asked to defeat the water spirit.
Sora and the rest listen to their side of the story. Okay something isn't adding up they were asked to deal with the people who was attacking her which turned out to be two of his friends and they were asked to deal with the spirit who flooding the lake. He looked at the water and realized that the problem must definitely be with the water spirit.
"Hey Montmorency." Sora got her attention "Earlier, you said that the water spirit was angry, right?"
"That's right. She's never had a high patience with humans in the past. Plus she has quite a temper. Why?"
"Well if we're gonna get to the bottom of this we need to see what this is all about."
It was a few seconds later that Montmorency set her familiar to fetch the water spirit. It didn't take nearly as long before a pillar of water erupted from the surface of the lake. Her form was the same as before. The girl that was so close to Sora's heart.
Sora held back the temptation to ask her about that appearance but seeing her like this was just staring all kinds of emotions.
(You've returned I see.) Said the water spirit. (Have you dealt with my attackers?)
"Yeah we stopped them. They're not gonna bother you anymore." Sora said before he cleared his throat. "So why are you flooding the lake in the first place? It's kinda bothering everyone."
The water rippled around the body of the water spirit for a few seconds as she stood above the lake. (Humans have recently stolen something from me. My existence is only bound to water, therefore if I flood the entire world, I will eventually get it back.)
"Flood the world?" The gang heard the water spirit plan "Wouldn't that take forever though?"
"Spirit are immortal, so have a different sense of time then us humans do. So it's not like they can help it." Answered Montmorency
So all this trouble is from someone stealing something from her, it must have really upset her and it must be something that she values a lot, well their is only one thing to do.
"...What did they steal from you?" Sora asked the spirit
(A treasure than had been with me for eternity. Andvari Ring.)
Montmorency gasped, causing everyone to look in her direction. "Andvari Ring! As in the Andvari's Ring."
"You know it?"
"It's a magic item that is supposed to grand one artificial life. I have only heard about it in books though."
"Who took it?" asked Kirche.
(All I know is that it was a man named Cromwell. He is currently in possession of my treasure.) The spirit replied back. Kirche put her finger on her chin that name 'Cromwell', why does that sound so familiar?
"Alright then, I promise ta find this Cromwell guy and get back your ring." Shouted Sora as everyone else other then Tabitha was surprised by his words.
"Sora darling, that's easier said then done." Kirche said.
"She's helping us with a problem so shouldn't we do the same?" Replied Sora
Guiche also understood this as he walked up to Sora before resting a hand on his shoulder. "It's no use making a promise like that too the water spirit. Just because you have magic as well as the rest of us your still not a nobleman. She's not going to trust you."
(Actually I do trust him.) Excluding Tabitha that startled everyone, the water spirit who is known for her dislike of humans, actually trust him out of everyone else in the world.
"Why do you trust him?" Asked Montmorency who was still taken back.
(Their are two reasons for why I am putting my beliefs on him. One: Gandálfr made a promise to me once in the past and honored that promise.) She said. Sora question that word that's what Fouquet call him before is it some kinds nickname for something.
"What's the second reason?"
(...As for my other reason. It's because he also happens to be a wielder the key, are you not, child of the light.) The spirit replied to everyone on the ground was confused at what she had said. As for Sora his eyes widen a bit as he step forward and summoned his kingdom key in his hand.
"You know about the keyblade?" Sora asked with a tad of surprised in his voice.
The water spirit answered (Yes. When this world was still whole, I've met your kin once in the past, And just like Gandálfr, that wielder of the light made a promise to me as well. Thought I had assumed you all perished after that war. I guess as long as there is light in the heart's of other, there will be others who will continue the legacy.)
Sora was completely in awe that their was another keyblade wielder before that came here come to think of it, Montmorency did say that she had live in that lake for a really long time and when she said 'when this world was still whole' she must've been talking about before the worlds were separate and what is she talking about. Obviously she was talking about the keyblade but who is Gandálfr?
Everyone else was looking at the two of them in speculation not sure what in the world they were talking about. What did she mean when this world was still whole, and a wielder of the key? Does that mean there was people like Sora, plebeians who could use magic and if so why haven't they heard about them?
(I have a warning for you, child of light.)
"What is it?"
(A powerful adversary here as well, or more accurate he has been in this world for sometime now. And not just that, I fear the he will bring darkness somewhere in the near future, I doubt someone like you will be able to stop him.)
Sora smiled "Thanks for the heads up. But you don't have to worry about the, I know I'm not that strong on my own but having the person close to me always makes up the difference. As long as I have my friend by my side their is nothing that will stop me."
(... Very well then, child.) The water spirit echo as a vial containing some liquid within it was gently flown to him as he caught in his hand. This must be the tear Sora held it tight and smiled at her.
"I promise you, someday I'll get your ring back to you."
"What do you mean someday." Asked Montmorency
Sora turned to her "You said that she lives forever right, so it doesn't matter how long it takes me, I'm keeping my word to her no matter what." He said as he turned back to the spirit "Also can you please stop flooding the lake in the meantime."
(Yes.) The spirit said (In return for promising to return my ring to me I will cease flooding the water here.) The spirit finished before she sank below the surface of the water.
Sora stared in awe of what he had just learned. Though he has suspected that something was there, the confirmation was clear. That something dangerous is on the way and he had to stop and soon oh right he forgot to ask why did she look like Kairi, oh well another time. Tabitha approached him before she reached up and tugged his sleeve. He looked into her blue eyes.
"Debt."
Sora gave a small chuckle as he looked over at Kirche who also approached him with her hands on her hip. "So what was all that about?"
Montmorency and Guiche walked up to him as well equally curious. "Yeah. I mean, child of light, when this world was still whole? The way the water spirit was speaking to you it was almost like she knew something about you."
"Honestly when you first came here there was just been mysteries upon mysteries about you. And what is this 'war' she was talking about " They had so many questions to ask
Sora looked hesitant for a second there no way he couldn't make an excuse now that they know this much now "I'll explain it all to you guys, just not right now." He ran to the forest and picked up Louise who had been asleep the whole time she must have used to much power or maybe she was to tired either way she was out of it. He carried her on his back out of the woods and back to everyone else.
"Right now, let go back."
(Academy of magic)
Everyone including Kirche and Tabitha were in their way back the trio rode on their horses while the other two girls were riding Sylphid back to school. After a few hours they made it back to the gate Sora handed Montmorency the tear so she could get to work on the antidote. Hopefully she learned from this and will never make another love potion again.
Today was memorable to say the least, as Sora learned from the water spirit that their were two keyblade wielder from the past that arrived in Halkeginia from a long time ago. One from thirty years and one centuries past. Now it was him who is here but for what reason was he in this world was it a coincidence or was it something else.
Well whatever the reason he was going to make sure that this adversary does not succeed.
(Louise room)
"I can't believe it! How could I let something like this happen!" Louise said with her face bright red and with her whip in her hand she was shaking frantically. Montmorency finished making the potion a while ago and it didn't take long for the effects to work.
Sora looked at her with a nervous smile "Well I guess that answers my question if you still remember or not."
"Of course I remember you idiot! Gah I can't believe I did such shameless things to this, this dog!" She screamed in pure embarrassment
"Don't take it out on me! You drunk a love potion Montmorency made, I had nothing to do with that!"
"Shut up!" She swung her whip and Sora caught her wrist and flipped her to the hardwood floor next Sora pinned her arms down holding her in place she screamed to get off but he wouldn't unless she calmed down.
Suddenly the window burst open making both Sora and Louise forget their argument. Sora stood up and summoned his nano gear keyblade and pointed it right at the window when another mysterious figure wearing a hood floated and entered the room.
"Who goes there?" The pink-haired mage said picking herself off the floor.
"I see your as rambunctious as ever." The figure said but for some reason this was a strange sense of deja vu.
"Wait are you?" The strange pulled back their hood and revealed "Princess."
End.
