The next morning, Lincoln and Sid got word of a group of some people and animals. Lincoln and Sid were curious as they and Splitter go to the edge of the grassland to look for this mysterious group. It was up until they stumbled upon what the group looked like. Two women, two men, two 6 year olds, and other animals. However, Sid and Lincoln recognize them otherwise to who they are.
Sid: Mom! Dad! Adelaide! Amazons! Guys!
Lincoln: Hi guys!
Group: Sid, Lincoln you're alive!
They come to hug each other. But failed to notice Splitter as the sawmetradon was about to leave. But was soon called back by Sid, who decided to have him reunited with the others too. Becca looked at him as Lincoln winks.
Splitter: Been a long time Becca and Ellie.
Becca: Indeed Splitter. I just wanna say that you're looking fresh.
Splitter: Thanks for noticing.
The animals like Nico, Cam, Bitsy, Priscilla, Rico, Vlad, Earl, Manny, Bianca and Marcel were please to see their long lost friends. Becca got to explain that they set up shop in Northern California after having crashed land here back on Earth. Whereas Sid explains her condition to them and how Lincoln helped her every step of the way. Not to mention that they reconnected with their dinotrux and reptool allies.
Ellie: As of now, we have also been doing some studying around ecosystems. Including around here in Michigan.
Lincoln: You can explain along the way.
The extended group set off to go to the base. Lincoln and Sid shown them around and what has changed. Including that there are mostly dinotrux and reptools roaming this place. Including that there are some wild populations of tractors, combines and bulldozers living here too. Lincoln and Sid were now alone with Becca as they wanted to know why they were actually here.
Sid: Mom, is there any other reason being here besides reuniting with us?
Becca: Yes there is unfortunately.
Lincoln: Like what?
Becca: The state of Michigan sinking.
Sid: Impossible. The state is always strong.
Becca: I know it sounds crazy, but it's due to erosion and the environment changing.
Both: Oh no, what we're gonna do?! Everyone will be underwater if we don't do something.
Just in the nick of time, a jeep approaches. Which happened to be Ellie, who was in the jeep with Kevin and Maya. The trio sighed in relief as Ellie informs them that they need to get out of here now. To make matters worse, the ground started to shake and the land surrounding the great lakes started to collapse into the water. So does Michigan as the dinotrux, reptools and other creatures start to panick.
Voice 1: Run for your lives!
Everyone did so as they were desperate to get out of here. Even the trux were surprised at this. They wasted no time getting out of here. The reptools got into Ton-Ton's bed as the ankylodump drove fast with the rest of the group. Even the Chang and Amazon's animal friends were quick to run too. Lincoln and Sid were with Becca, Stanley and Adelaide in another jeep.
Lincoln: Oh no! I can't believe it's happening!
Sid: I know right?!
The dinotrux and reptools panicked upon fleeing the land. Which was sinking into the water. The ground slowly collapses as the fleeing creatures desperately go to find higher ground or a way off. Back with the Amazons, they were looking for a way to lead the dinotrux and reptools safely off the sinking land. Kevin looks to see Ty and his friends following them, giving them an idea.
Kevin: Ty!
Ty: Guys, anything we can do to help?
Maya: Yes. Get every tool and trux to follow us.
Ellie: So we can get out of here.
Ty nodded and roared to get the attention of the stampeding dinotrux and reptools. Their attention was given as Ty was about to tell them the Amazon's plan. He informs them to follow the Amazons in their jeep. The trux and tools obeyed as he and the rest of the gang go all over the sinking landscape to make sure everyone makes it. Even the mighty dreadtruxes rolled on out of here.
Skya: That's right guys, keep going.
Back with Lincoln and the Changs, they were helping out with the operation too. The dinotrux and reptools ran towards where the others are following the rest of the group. As the Amazon's led them into the rest of the land. Namely Indiana and the animal friends were helping too. The mecha creatures waste no time. Even mechazoic arthropods were present too. Including Kelper the crabcavator was seen rapidly running sideways.
Lincoln: Okay everyone, I hope we're gonna be okay.
Sid: I do too Lincoln.
It was in a matter of time as the land suddenly rapidly sunk into the water. The reptools jumped onto the dinotrux to ride on. As a way to avoid falling into the water. Lincoln looks to see that a few woodland reptools were in the jeep.
Lincoln: I hope we can make it to dry land.
Sid: Me too. So we can get out of here.
Later on, the group approached Indiana as they managed to get on. With a zooming jeep, animals running to get out of the way, followed by a massive stampede of dinotrux, reptools and mechazoic invertebrates coming behind. The invertebrates went off their separate ways, but the trux and tools continued following after the Amazons. Ellie knew that they couldn't keep this up forever and need a place to regroup.
Maya: Mom we need to find someplace to get them to stop. Before someone gets hurt or killed!
Ellie then looks around to see that there was an open area up ahead. She even turns to see that Pounder, Splitter and Blayde were keeping pace with the jeep. Ellue honked the horn to gain their attention. In which the 3 trux did, allowing Ellie to instruct them to gather everyone at where they'll meet. The trio did so and helped every trux and tool the way.
Even Ty and his friends helped out. The Amazons were able to stop where the area was, while everyone managed to get to where they are. Even Lincoln and the Changs were relief to see that all the trux and tools were gathering.
