Luz had always loved when her mom would dote on her, but after being gone for near two months with no way of really knowing if they'd see the other again a hug and a kiss from her beloved mami felt extra warm. Approaching the table she saw the collector happily nestled in amity's arms as she had the most serene smile on her face. " W w well honey Amity began hesitantly if other people saw you doing that they might get jealous or scared and even though we all know they can't they might even try to hurt you, t t they'll put me back in the mirror again, he whimpers on the verge of tears hiding in Amity's chest and crying softly I don't wanna go back it was boring and scary please don't make me, no baby there's no mirrors here, Amity hushes rocking the now completely sobbing boy and even if there was sweetie we promise that we'd never let that happen to you again Luz adds softly rubbing his back, p p p p pinkie promise, he asks pitifully looking up at both with a terrified expression as he clings to Amity, pinkie promise buddy Luz smiles gently linking their pinkie's together as Amity softly hums to him wiping his eyes with her thumb. After about 5 minutes he seemed to have calmed down enough to talk "ok I promise I won't use my powers anymore except in the house I'm sorry I did, you have absolutely nothing to be sorry for buddy you didn't know Luz comforts there's unfortunately a lot of bad people here and even though we know you can take of yourself we'll always do our best to protect you, she's right sweetheart Amity smiles encouragingly rubbing his back, now whatdaya say we turn that frown upside down huh bud, Luz adds quickly snatching him from her girlfriend's arms, and running with him on her shoulders much to his squealing delight as Amity smiles lovingly at the scene before rushing off to catch them.
