It was a few weeks after Casey had taken her first steps so Rocket had decided that his little girl was ready for her first bed knowing this couldgo well or an epic disaster however his Japanesevariant, Rocke from 1610 was helping and had brought his lil kit, Yoko who also had powers and around Branchie and Casey's age so they were having fun only Rocket hadn't told Casey just saying it was a surprise, knowing naptime would be the test, to see if she liked it or not seeing Rocke frown behind his pink-shades.
"Just be chill about it and she'll be chill, just don't let anybody tell her about things under the bed, it'll freak her out." he told Rocket making him stunned by the advice guessing he'd been through this before with Yoko seeing Rocke nodding.
"Yep a kid in Yoko's daycare told her about monsters under the bed which scared her but Piper and I helped her and now, she's alright, oh no Yoko better not be telling her that." he said seeing Casey, Branchie and Yoko in the play-den hearing Yoko telling a story stopping her.
"Yoko Lennon Nirohita, don't scare your cuz as she's not goijg to like her bed if you tell her what I heard you tell her." Rocke cautioned impressing Rocket noticing Casey looked a little scared despite Branchie on her furry shoulder.
"It's okay honey, daddy won't let anything hurt you, plus Branchie can also protect you." he reassured her as she was on his armoured lap which was making the fear Yoko's story had filled her young mind with go away seeing a mischievous grin on Yoko's face knowing she was just playing plus Casey and her liked being friends, guessing like Casey, she didn't know how to play with other kits.
"Maybe we can help her learn." Rocket told Rocke seeing him nodding.
"I am Groot." Branchie asked Casey after the adults were in the kitchen with Yoko.
"I guess but Yoko's story wasn't as fun, as the ones daddy tells." Casey replied softly as Branchie hugged her just as Rocket returned guessing Yoko's story had spooked her surprising Yoko as she hadn't meant to scare Casey, which surprised Rocke guessing Rocket was right, that they could help Yoko learn to socialise.
"Maybe this is a good thing, plus it's nearly Casey's naptime, maybe Yoko could help." Rocket told Rocke hearing both Casey and Yoko yawning noticing Casey a little anxious after the story she'd told her wishing she could take it back feeling Casey hug her surprising Yoko.
"I think this is the beginning of a beauitful friendship." Yoko mumbled.
"Me too, Yoko, our dads were right, to let us play." Casey replied grinning.
"I see somebody's feeling better, after her nap and guess you and Yoko have became friends despite her almost scaring you." Rocket told Casey after her nap because Yoko's story had almost scared her until Yoko had said that she was sorry which had relieved her and Branchie while Rocket was fixing a snack for them.
"Uh-huh and Yoko helped me not be afraid of my new bed." Casey told him.
"That's good, as uncle Rocke was concerned that Yoko had scared you." Rocket replied.
"I am Groot." Branchie replied making Rocket grin at this.
