Chapter 12
Let me just say I'm sorry I haven't been updating my ff and I also apologize for this chapter being too short. I was planning on making it longer but I'm not been feeling well. I several problems in my body including my eyes and my chest. Who knows, maybe this will be the last chapter I'll put on here.
"How do I do this again?" the President said. He, the President of course, was already dead. It was the Wraith possessing his body talking. His voice was clearly that of confusion.
"Let's do this again. I am President Zeke Offerson, the President or Leader of this country. I have three different families and those families doesn't know the others exist. I am 48 and I was a military soldier before joining in politics. Two of the Generals are my former comrades-in-arms. My childhood dreams were to be a dancer, a fireman, whatever that is, and a rapper? What in the name of Ainz-sama is a "rapper" some kind of Magician title?"
He gulped and prepared himself, it was hard for the wraith to see into the memories of its host since seeing the memories uses magic. And the Wraith sensed that this world has no magic of any kind, so he decided to save it for a more important time.
Learning who his host is, is very essential to the art of possessing as people close to the host will definitely see the difference between the old and new host. And to properly infiltrate the enemy's base without suspicion, one must master the art of acting.
"For now, I must act as Zeke Offerson and hope nobody notices the flaws I've done"
This time, there was a meeting between all the important persons of the country. From the host's memory, it was a meeting about "Operation: Into another world".
"It seems this place is nowhere in the world Ainz-sama rules, it is an entirely different world. I'm sure Ainz-sama would like this world for himself"
He tidied himself up by brushing off some dust from his suit and moving his tie.
He continued walking until he reached a door guarded by two muscular men. The men held a huge gun using both of their hands while staying still. They give off a strong aura of strength and power.
Both of them saw the man coming towards them and they immediately approached him.
"Mr. President where are your bodyguards?" one of them men asked.
"I don't know really, I told them to stay guard when I reached my office. After I went out, they disappeared. I've also tried contacting them but to no avail" The President replied. But the truth was they were dead. After the Wraith possessed him, they immediately entered as they heard a body fell to the floor. Fearing the worst, the Wraith used magic on them, killing them instantly.
"Those useless men" one of them said. "Well, no matter, come Mr. President. The others are waiting for you"
"Let's shall, Gentlemen"
The two guards nodded and both of them push the door open for the President.
Upon entering, he was greeted with the sight of people arguing, calling each other slurs and names, and shouting profanities.
This room is where Government officials meets and discuss various things, it was large room where a small stage was in the back and plenty of seated people screaming like animals.
If the President was still alive, he would already be used to this, but he wasn't. The Wraith slowly went further, trying his best to act out the President based on his memories.
"Mr. President!" one of the Government officials said. She was wearing a black suit and carried a purse.
"Our people are suffering! There are too many people that are hungry, angry, and enraged! I demand that we, my people should be given food!"
"Your people?!" another spoke out, it seems that this person is hostile to her. He wore a light brown suit with a black tie "My people are dying Mr. President! Everyday there's riots, protests, and raiding just so they could have a bite of anything edible. If anyone here needs food, its ours!"
'Based on my memories, those are Governor Jason Pelansky and Governor Maria San Teresa. Two corrupt Governors, how pathetic. It seems every single person here are corrupt. All in need of something, but never for the people, only for themselves'
"Yes, Yes Mr. Pelansky and Mrs. Teresa, we'll discuss it" after hearing this, they responded with grateful voices. But all three of them knew that it was fake.
As the President went closer to the stage, all eyes went to him. And as soon as he took a step into the stage.
The pandemonium started.
"MR PRESIDENT!" "MR PRESIDENT!" "MR PRESIDENT!" was all the Wraith could hear. All shouting covered the voices of each other to the point that no one can understand what each other is saying.
"Please be quiet" the president said. The people didn't listen, they only made their voices even louder.
"PLEASE! Be quiet!" the President said even louder, like usual, none listened.
"PLEASE PEOPLE BE QUIET!" He shouted, at last people closed their mouth. Some grumbled and spoke profanities softly.
"Let's not be animals; let us be civil. Now I know our great Country's been a bit harsh these days. Our people, our own Americans are sleeping outside due to the fact they cannot buy houses for themselves. They do their everyday tasks hungry and crying. They fight the days not only for themselves, but for their loved ones. But I assure you, I have a plan. The operation: Into the other world was a success. Not only is the other world full of resources, but it also has bright suns, beautiful trees, and clean waters. Things we thought were gone. But there was a problem, our soldiers are yet to return with the information we needed. So, if you'll be patient we will get it, the things we deserve!"
The people looked at each other smiling, it seems they now have something their greed can gnaw on again.
"But, are there any living things out there?" one of the people in the crowd asked.
"That I don't know yet. Only time will tell us"
'Huh, who knew looking into the memories of my host and talking to a den full of wolves would be so exhausting. It looks like I managed to convince them that my lies are true'
Ainz sat on his throne in the Sorcerous Kingdom. To his front was the Captain Knight of the Great sword and Spear, they were bowing.
"So, Bellius"
"Yes, Your Majesty" the spear said.
"Did you manage to find the body of the fallen knight?"
"Yes, Your Majesty. He is currently in the Hospital waiting for recovery"
"Are there any more casualties?"
"No, Your Majesty"
"Good. How about you, Joseph? Have you finished the task I gave you and your knights?"
"Yes, Your Majesty, we have already sent out letters to the other countries saying that it is temporarily illegal to enter Tob Forest. And we also already informed our own citizens as well"
"Good, they are still could be hiding in the forest considering that the forest is vast"
"Your Majesty, why don't we have a party to search the forest?" the spear asked.
"Because they would've used the forest to their advantage. We may be living in this land, but we know too little of the forest or the beasts that lurks there. It is best that wait them out"
"I see"
"Now then, you're dismissed. I will be going to visit my friend, Professor Fluder"
"Don't you need any assistances my Lord?"
"No need"
"We understand my Lord"
"[Gate]" Ainz said pointing to nothing, a dark portal appeared, and he entered it.
Ainz arrived at the entrance of the giant, grand University of Magic. It was created by Ainz and the Magic guild of both the Baharuth and the Sorcerous kingdom as a means of learning more about Magic. The Magic casters are all from 3rd tier and up Professionals which makes it the only Magic University in the entire continent that has Magic casters students that are on the same level as usual magic teachers. Also, ever single person in the University are Magic casters.
The headmaster is Fluder Paradyne, the only human who reached 8th tier Necromancy Magic.
Ainz arrived in the middle of the day. At this time there are no people since in the middle of the day they'll be in their classrooms.
A guard that was minding his own business, saw the black portal. and immediately went to see who it is.
The Guard immediately recognized the giant robed skeleton and ran up to him. After he got near he instantly bowed in respect and fear.
"Your Majesty! What are you doing here?"
"I wish to see Headmaster Fluder"
"He-he is on a meeting with the scholars" he said nervously.
"Come now, I'm sure he'll make time for his teacher. Why don't lead me to him?"
"Of Course, kindly follow me then" He stood up and walked forward, with Ainz behind him.
"Your Majesty, I apologize but we will have to use the teacher's way because it's less crowded, and you'll attract less attention"
"I thought the students are in their classrooms?"
"They are, there are some doing outdoor activities and they'll likely go up to you and ask questions regarding magic. After all, its not everyday they'll get to meet the most powerful caster in the continent" he said with a chuckle in the end.
After a while of walking down the halls, they reach a door with noises coming from the other side.
"Please wait here, Your Majesty" the guard said before entering the door.
After a few minutes a loud shout was heard.
"YOU WHAT? YOU LET HIS MAJESTY STAND IN THE HALLS?! YOU IDIOT WHY DIDN'T YOU LET HIM IN!"
'Eh? What's with that shouting? What's happening in there?"
Fluder opened the door and bowed to Ainz.
"Welcome to the University, my mentor"
"Mm, nice to see you too, Fluder. What were you doing?"
"I was teaching the top students at this University. I have 25 students and 10 of them already reached 4th tier! I'm giving them lectures on summoning magic" the headmaster said, he eyes then glowed. As if an idea hit his head.
"Ainz-sama, how about you give them a few pointers in summoning magic? You are the greatest in Necromancy after all, you also taught me the way of Necromancy! I know no one better to teach my students other than you!"
A wave of "Good idea" "I see nothing wrong" "That's the best idea ever" and other words came out behind Fluder.
"uhh erm umm. Okay then, after this I need to have a talk to you, it's important"
"Yes of course! Your Majesty!"
Ainz entered the classroom, and all eyes was on him. Eyes that look so hungry for knowledge. Eyes so focus it scared Ainz on the inside.
Ainz looked at them, breathe in, and opened his mouth.
