Not my favorite chapter but I'm trying to write some action. eh I'm struggling a little but I hope it wasn't too bad.
My co worker loved it so here it is ?

Summary: Things don't go as planned. For Anyone.
Thanks to a stubborn woman the Empire chalks up another victory. But unwanted emotions have her feeling like she's made a mistake or two.

As commander Fox was beginning the briefing Darth Marr barges in. Almost in a panic she sensed. "Commander scratch that we have new orders. We are being sent to retake and secure an imperial base On Dolla. I sent you the data you'll need. We need some type of plan to sneak back in."

"Sneak in? Why not just ambush them and retake it?" Mara asked.

"Because they are holding a few very important military leaders there. We can't risk them being killed but I will not surrender or accept their terms." Darth Marr turned and left. Not even bothering to acknowledge her.

Dolla was weeks away even in hyperspace.

During their travel Satele didn't see much of her husband. Which made her upset but at the same time she kind of understood. He 'needed to be Darth Marr.' She just didn't expect for things to effect her the way they were.

Most of her time was spent with Mara and Commander Fox as they came up with a plan to infiltrate the base unheard and unseen.

Mara and her trained, A lot. They worked together well. So well it shocked some of the men at how fast and flawless they were. Which pleased Darth Marr. Thwy didn't know he would watch them train sometimes.

It too was bugging him how he did things. He knew soon or later the news of her being his wife would come out. It was inevitable. But he wanted it to be a secret for as long as possible. At least until he knew for sure how his crew would react. He knew they were loyal but no Sith has brought their wives to war. But other Siths weren't married to a Jedi. Or former Jedi. That was another reason.

How would they react to knowing she was once a Jedi? Was that why he didn't want people to know? Was it solely for her safety?

As the weeks went by he watched her more and more. He missed her. The way she made him feel when she was around. Her laugh. Her smile. Her touch. Her kiss. Her body… he just missed his wife.

It was driving him nuts. So he made the decision that he was going to have her things moved to his quarters. She belonged with him, at his side.

He sent for her, Hoping she wouldn't be too angry with him. But angry isn't even close to what he felt when he sensed her coming. He sensed sadness. Which only deepened his own.

He waited in his quarters for her for what felt like light years. His heart jumped as he heard a knock on the door. "Come in." A little too eager than he wanted to sound.

"You sent for me my lord?"

He leaned back against his desk for a few moments. Looking at her beauty. Force did he love this woman to no end. "I did." He said as he waved his hand in her direction, locking the door. "I miss you."

Satele didn't say anything back but he felt her sadness deepen.

"I'm sorry I've been distracted and distant sweetheart, it hasn't been my intention."

Her gaze met his. Her expression was numbed before she looked back to the floor. He removed his gloves, hood, mask and the rest of his upper armor. She didn't even notice him walking to her until he wrapped his arms around her.

"I haven't been a very good husband, I understand that. I'm sorry. I'm still learning how to balance both jobs and I know I'm failing but If you'll forgive me I promise I'll make it up to you."

"All I want to know is why?"

"Why what?"

"Why did you separate us? Why am I a secret? If you're ashamed of marring me then Why am I even here?"

"I'm not ashamed of you or marring you. Its quite the opposite. Im worried for you, for your safety."

Satele interrupted him. "I'm not completely helpless! Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean I can't defend myself!"

"I know you can! But it's my job to protect you! Once word is out that you're MY wife and what you were, who knows what will happen. You don't think the Jedi order won't try and rescue you when they find out you're alive? With your history, your bloodline… I don't think you fully understand How many Sith even Jedi will be after you. I can only protect you so much."

"I do understand! I've lived my whole life understanding theres a price on my head but I refuse to live in hiding and if you think I'm going to then you are gravely mistaken. I'm not a child."

"That's not what I'm saying or asking Satele. I just… can we give it some time? Please?"

"Time for what?"

"It took a long time for my men to trust and treat Mara as apart of the team. I want them to do the same with you. On their own free will. Not because I make them. This mission, working with them, can establish that respect, that trust."

"I thought you said your men were loyal?"

"They are. To me. They will be to you if I tell them you're my wife. But that's not loyalty I want them to have for you. It's… it's hard to explain."

"No I understand. But what if they never trust me or respect me like Mara?"

"It won't be a secret long regardless. I can't walk around with you here and ignore you like I do the rest of my mercenaries. I can't openly show you affection outside this room but I can't continue to ignore you everywhere else."

"I would have rather stayed home if I knew this is how it would have been. This," Waving her hands around. "Is worse than being stationed above Korriban. At least I had some friends there. All I have here is Mara. So when she's gone I'm alone."

"Which is why I'm moving you in here. You deserve to be at my side. It was wrong for me to ever allow my fears to separate us."

"Why now?"

Darth Marr signed and rubbed his head. She's stubborn. She won't back down until she's satisfied with her answer. "Because I miss you and I understand it was a mistake to ever separate us. I'm sorry."

Satele just starred at him. Waiting. She was mad. Hurt. Annoyed. "I'm not your play thing, Darth Marr."

"Satele, that's not… you're not. You're my wife!"

"Then treat me like it! I'm not one of your damn mercenaries or crew members or some some sex slave you get to call when it pleases you!"

"Other wives wouldn't even be allowed here! The only thing that's made me bring you is your history with the Jedi! "

"I'm not a Jedi anymore remember." She turned to storm off but Darth Marr caught her arm, turning her.

"Please don't go."

"I'm done with this conversation. Before we … before we say something we can't take back."

"Then don't talk." He said pulling her into a hug. "I'm sorry I was wrong. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I'm sorry. I'll do whatever I have to to make it up to you, just name it."

"I-I don't… I just don't want to be ignored. You seem like I'm a burden here and …"

"Hey, you're never a burden. I promise things will change. I'm still learning."

"Ok."

They shoot there for minutes. Long minutes. Just looking at each other.

"Are you busy right now?"

"No, Mara is 'occupied' for the night so I'll probably just go to bed."

"Mmm would you like to be occupied?" He gave her a boyish grin.

Satele raised a brow when she saw his grin. "Depends."

"On?"

"How fast you can take my clothes off."

With the help of the force he had her bare in mere seconds. Himself as well. He grabbed her by the thighs and lifted her, making her legs lock around his waist. He carried her over to the bed where they spent the rest of the night.

Mara, Satele and Doom were armored up and ready to go by 0400. The entire mission depended on them. They were the key to being unseen and unheard. The key to rescuing these important Imperial men.

Any minute they would be pulling from hyperspace and her, Satele, and Doom had to be ready in their shuttle once they were close enough to the planet.

Their mission seemed easy enough until They saw the layout and the defenses of the base. They have been practicing on a sim for the last couple weeks but this was more complex. This made Satele wonder how the Republic was even able to overrun and conquer the base. Then it hit her. Havoc squad. It was the only thing that made sense.

Havoc squad had soldiers with many skills. She's personally witnessed the impossible the squad has been able to accomplish it.

But this made her heart hurt because if the squad was really on Dolla, She knew Jace and the rest of the squad would not give up easily. She knew Darth Marr wouldn't either. She needed to talk to Darth Marr she thought but decided to wait and see if they were even there before bringing it up.

If she were to bring it up now and they weren't there she knew he would question why she cared so much about One Republic soldier.

She did care for Jace. He was her first real friend after she joined the order. He helped her and was there for her for a lot of things over the years. Thinking about him made her miss him. Miss their friendship. A small part of her hoped he was down there but a huge part hoped he wasn't.

Slicing and being sneaky was a Quality Mara had and one she was very good at. With the help of Doom of course. Satele could use the force which helped a lot also which made them very confident they would be successful.

Commander Fox and Darth Marr had almost no doubts that they couldn't accomplish their mission. The hard part was how long could he and Commander Fox could hold negotiations for. He was good at diversions and holding peoples attention. But he worried if he could long enough for them to get in and out.

"Once the men are at the Rendezvous point then give us the signal. I want prisoners. Does everyone understand?" Darth Marr finished his orders and gave a small motivational speech and they departed moments after.

The ladies and Doom left first since their mission would be more time consuming. They slowly made way to the back of the base. Satele was able to quickly and quietly use the force to literally rip the steel electrical panels away.

That's when her and Mara got to work. They had to implant a device that allowed the tech support team to override the cameras on the security system. They had to make it look like the cameras were still working so It didn't draw attention.

Once she got the 'all clear' signal from Tech they started disarming the Turrets, Force shields and anything else that stood in their way.

Suddenly Satele felt something was very wrong. Before she could even turn around and warn Mara she heard a blaster shot. As soon as she turned around she saw Mara holding her side on her knees.

With a wave of her hand the blaster flew across the hallway into her hand. She used the force to push the soldier against the wall, rendering him unconscious.

"Mara are you ok?" She ran to her aid. Helping her to her feet.

She winced at the pain as she tried to stand up. "Ya. I think I'll be ok."

"Can you walk? Or does it hurt too much. I didn't bring any kolto patches with me."

"Ya. I'm good." She said as she struggling.

"Doom help her! I'll take the lead."Doom followed his orders like always.

Satele noticed that they were falling farther and farther behind. "Mara give me your pack. Doom get her back to the shuttle and wait."

"Satele no!"

"Mara please! You're injured. I'll be fine. Please!"

Knowing she would jeopardize the mission if she didn't listen she agreed. "You come back! Do you hear me? You can not die, We need you!"

"Have a little faith. I don't plan on dying today. Now go!"

Reluctantly they listened and headed back to the shuttle. Satele Pressed on. Thankfully only having to take out two other soldiers before finally founding the prison cells that held who they were looking for.

By herself it took her slightly longer to override the controls for the doors. But she did it. The doors swished open and the men in the room were shocked, to say the least, to see her. Alone.

"Come on we don't have much time." she ordered them. Waving at them to follow her.

"Who are you?" One of the officers asked.

"I-I'm here with Darth Marr. My orders are to rescue you and get you back to the shuttle safely. Now if you don't mind we're slightly behind schedule." She ushered them out the door. "Follow me, but be quiet."

She could sense there were more troopers coming but she couldn't pin point from where. She tried to lead them quickly back out the way she came. Unfortunately yet another thing went wrong, as she turned the corner she ran right into a troopers she was sensing.

Before anyone could say anything she force pushed them back and ignited her blade. The officers still hiding in the previous hall watch her in awe. Most of them had only witnessed Sith fighting aggressively. Satele on the other hand didn't. She was graceful, calm. Almost tame.

Satele was able to push the few remaining troopers back to the adjacent hallway. Hoping the others would try and break for it, until she realized she pushed them back to where she needed to go.

She knew she was taking too long and she was beyond frustrated after the republic troopers closed and locked the blast door. Without even thinking about it she raised her free hand and summoned the force that not only shocked the republic trooper but also the imperial officers as well as the tech team who was watching this aboard Darth Marr's ship.

One moment the blast door was there, locked, protecting those troopers. The next moment it wasn't. She crumpled it like it was a mere piece of paper.

The remaining troopers lay dead on the ground as she clips her lightsaber back onto her belt and waved the officers to follow.

Almost everything else was going to plan. Everyone but Satele was aboard the shuttles when blaster fire started going off.

Satele felt A burning pain. She winced as she moved. She got caught right where pieces of her armor met. One of the few weak spots. 'Lucky me.' She thought has she ignited her crimson Blade.

She Knew Darth Marr would be angry at her for not following orders but she sent the shuttle away and gave the all clear signal.

And just like that. Fighting broke out all over the base. The republic was caught off guard by the heavy fire power of the empire. Just as planned.

Inside the war room of the base, Darth Marrs chrono started going off. The all clear signal.

The Republic Officers and The handful of Jedi knights never saw it coming.

Fear. The Empire was known to inflict fear and pain into their enemies and that's exactly what they did. Darth Marr was on his feet before anyone could blink. He cut down two of the Jedi knights before they could even ignite there blades.

Outside, Satele took on all 15 troopers that came to Eliminate The escaped prisoners and their rescuers. One by one. She reflected each bolt back to where it came. Cutting them down with an easy slash of her lightsaber. Her fight took mere minutes.

She felt nothing. No hate, angry, rage, nothing. Nothing but a stinging pain in her right side. But she pressed on and decided to find Commander Fox and Darth Marr. Since she let her ride back to the ship go.

Once more she found herself surrounded by troopers. She about had it with things going wrong today. She wasn't about to surrender or being taken by them.

As one trooper stepped forward she quickly side stepped. Force pushing the troopers in front and to the right of her while using all her strength, and help from the force, to fling her saber at the troopers to her left. They dropped dead to the floor before the other could make it back to their feet.

She recalled her saber just in time to give it one more fling, dropping the remaining men.

It didn't take long for the empire to recapture the base. By time Satele found the Commander they were already loading prisoners back to Darth Marr's ship for interrogations.

"What the hell are you doing down here?" The Commander asked.

"We had a slight problem in our escape. But don't worry Mara, Doom and the officers are safely back on the ship."

"Is everyone ok?"

"Mara took a hit to the side but she should be ok." She could see the rush of worry that came over him. "She'll be ok I promise. Her armor took most of it."

He shook his head in acknowledgment. "Head back to the ship. I'll debrief all of you once we're done."

"Yes sir."

She went to turn and cried out in pain. Her adrenaline has finally worn off and she felt the full extent of her injuries. She grabbed her side. Blood covered her hand.

"Are you alright?" The commander asked instantly freaking out.

"I'm fine. I just… forgot I took a hit."

"Medbay now! Before Darth Marr has both our heads."

She nodded in agreement and walked over to one of the shuttles headed back to the ship.

After being patched up in the medbay and debriefed by the commander she headed to the prison level to find Darth Marr. She knew what he was probably doing but figured it was best to at least wait for him to explain to him herself what happened. And to also let him know about her injury.

Her heart stopped when she heard Jace's voice. "I'm not going to tell you Sith scrum anything." He spat back.

"I beg to differ." He hissed shocking the trooper again with force lighting.

She could feel her heart beating faster. Knowing either decision was going to end badly. Not doing anything would end with Jace dying. Stepping In and helping him would not only piss of Darth Marr or worse. But she didn't care about herself. She could take the pain. She couldn't let her friend die without at least trying to save him.

She opened the door. Thankfully no one noticed.

"I'll give you one last chance to answer my questions."

He spat blood back at the Dark lord. "Go to hell."

Darth Marr stepped back and so did the guards holding Jace.

Satele could feel Darth Marr's anger. She saw the sparks starting to form at the end of his fingers and that's when she ran and jumped in front of Jace. She was just fast enough to catch the lightning and absorbed it into her palms.

Both seeing that and the face of his wife shocked him. "Get out!" He screamed at the guards.

She was shaking. She indeed feared him. His raw power scared her and he could sense it. He fed off it. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"P-please, don't hurt him. I-I don't care about any of the others but please let him go."

"And what makes you think I take orders from you?"

"Please! Darth Marr. Please. Anyone else but him." She said standing her ground in front of Jace who looked to her confused but relieved.

He could see it in her eyes. He grabber her by the arm. Hard. Harder than he's ever grabbed her. Already seeing red as he roughly pulled her out of the cell. Basically dragging her with him.

"Stop, you're hurting me!" She screamed as he drug her to an empty room. She tried to pull her arm away but he grabbed her wrist. Even harder. She cried out in pain as she felt her bones break. Tears falling down her face from the pain. "Ow!…stop, you're hurting…"

"I don't care!" He spat, cutting her off, as he threw her to the ground. She tried to brace herself but failed. Her head still hit the floor with a thud. Making her vision blurry.

"What the hell was that? I warned you I don't take disobedience!"

She got to her knees and held her wrist. Trying to catch enough breath to talk. "H-he's my friend! Was my only friend while you abandoned me!"

Blinded by his rage he yanked her back up. "I don't care! He's my prisoner!" Roughly pushing her against the wall. Knocking the wind out of her as her back collided with the hard wall. "I don't care if he's your friend. He has the information I want. Important information we need. We are at war!" He growled in her face.

"Please just let him go! He won't talk." She whimpered in pain.

"I'll make him talk." He forced through gritted teeth.

"Please let him go! You have others just let him go. I beg you. Please Marr."

Darth Marr didn't say anything. He just held her there. Trying to hold back the lightning that started to crackle at the tips of this gloved fingers. He pushed harder against her and then she dropped. He was gone before she could even look up.

She sat there crying holding her wrist. She realized she ripped open her stitches on her side. Her shirt was soaked with blood and sweat. She couldn't move or think. Pain washed over her. Her arm. Her wrist. Her side. Her back. None of it compared to the pain she felt in her heart when she realized it was all a mistake.

She wiped the blood that was dripping down her face from where she cracked it on the floor. 'He's just like her.' She thought.

Wondering if she had made a grave mistake coming here, marrying a Sith. All of it. The shock of what happened and the pain became too much. She tried to stand and saw darkness as she fell back to the wall.

Darth Marr stormed off the prison level. He needed to find the Commander and the rescued Officers. When he walked in the room they were gathered in he realized they were talking about Satele as they watched the surveillance videos of the battle.

"It was amazing!" One officer said.

"We wouldn't have gotten out alive if it wasn't for her." Said another.

"She's an amazing warrior that's for sure." Commander Fox added.

"My lord!" One officer called out.

"At ease men."

"My lord you really should watch these. She was truly amazing to see. Wherever you got her, good work!"

Darth Marr didn't say anything as he watched his wife save every last one of his men. He smirked under his mask watching her rip that blaster from that soldiers hands and throwing him into the wall. Blowing up a thick metal blast door like it was child's play. Her beautiful, flawless form cutting down soldier after soldier.

The camera angle changed. That's when he said her get shot. A perfect shot at that. He could see her wince in pain.

"She saved our asses today. She's a fast thinker and one hell of a warrior and She did it so effortlessly."

"Her fighting was like nothing I've seen in all my years watching you Sith. We definitely need her to win this war Darth Marr."

"She's one of our best." Darth Marr replied. "I just came to see how thing went. Better than I expected I see."

"How is she? That shot had to hurt."

"I'm- im not sure. I just left the prison level. I'll have to go find out."

"I hope she's ok. She deserves a damn metal after today."

He felt nothing but guilt. 'What the hell have I done?' He asked himself. 'I'm no better than her mother… No… I'm worse.'

"If you'll excuse me I have some things to check on." He left to find Satele. Which wasn't going to be easy.

She wasn't in his quarters or Mara's. She wasn't in the mess hall or medbay. He sneered thinking she was with that republic soldier. But was surprised and happy to see that she wasn't. Worry hit him. 'Where the hell is she?' He called Commander Fox over his comm. "Commander, has anyone seen Satele lately. I can't find her."

"No, my Lord. I debriefed her and she asked where you were and I haven't seen her since."

"If you see her contact me immediately!"

"Yes my lord."

His heart sank. He needed to find her. He had to fix his mistake. Another mistake. He seemed to be making a lot of those lately.

Then he realized where she was. He ran to the empty room he dragged her to and there she was. Sitting in a small pool of her own blood, unconscious against the wall.

"Satele!" He yelled at her and shook her to wake her. "Satele, sweetheart can you hear me?" She didn't move. He took his glove off to feel her pulse. It was faint so he scooped her up and ran to the medbay as fast as he could.

Mara was about to leave when Darth Marr rushed in carrying Satele's unconscious form. "What the hell happened?"

Mara and the nurses rushed to her and started to examine her. Bruises on her upper arm and wrist. It was clear her wrist was broken. They lifted her up to remove her blood soaked shirt. Her back was already starting to bruise as well.

Mara walked over to Darth Marr stuck at the door, shocked. "What the hell happened to her?"

"I— ." He couldn't even finish what he was saying. He just dropped his head.

Mara pulled him to the empty hallway. "What did you do Marr?" She asked looking up to him with sad eyes.

"Mara I- she- how can I fix this? I can't lose her."

"Fix this? What the hell were you thinking Marr? What the hell could she possibly have done to deserve that? After everything she did today for YOU?" He didn't say anything so she continued. "If it wasn't for her today wouldn't have happened the way it did. You know that right? SHE saved my ass and the asses of all those officers." She yelled quietly. Clearly pissed. "And you thank her by…" she paused rubbing her face trying to calm herself. "Just be happy if she lives after this. I'm sure if these injuries don't kill her she'll want to die when she wakes up." Pushing him. "What the hell is wrong with you! Do you not realize how long it took her to get over what her own mother did to her? You're her damn husband for force sakes! You're - ." She stopped and walked to the door. "You're suppose to protect her Marr not kill her." She opened the door to the medbay and shut it behind her.

Darth Marr stood there. She was right. About it all. He fucked up. Even if she pulled through she wouldn't forgive him. Not after physically hurting her.

She woke up days later. Groggy and sore. She could smell the salty kolto residue left on her skin. She slowly opened her eyes. She wasn't in the medbay. She was in Darth Marr's quarters. She shot up in realization of her surroundings, Terrified.

"Lay down. You need to rest." He gently pushed she back down.

"Don't touch me." She cried out and tried to resist him.

"Sweetheart please."

"Don't sweetheart me!" She said jerking away from him with tears and fear in her eyes. Her body trembling.

He just looked her. He knew. He knew she was scared of him, terrified. She wasn't going to trust him anymore. And that broke his heart. He let out a tear and looked down at his hands. He hated himself for what he did. He should have had more self control. "Satele, I don't deserve your forgiveness. I should have never put my hands on you. I…"

She just laid there. She didn't want talk to him, hear his excuses. His meaningless apologies. "Just leave me alone." She whispered as she closed her eyes to hold back the tears.

"I can't. I cannot leave you alone like this, not after what I did. I overreacted."

"It was a mistake coming here."

"No…"

"Yes! It was! I should have known better. You're a kriffing Sith Lord for force sake! I clearly must've hit my head." She let the tears go. "I'm crazy for ever thinking someone like you could possibly… this was a mistake. Please get me off this ship." She started to get up. "I want off this ship."

It alarmed him to see her so frightened. Freaking out. It wasn't like her. But he didn't blame her. His actions unlocked something deep within her that took her years to bury.

"We are already headed back home. Satele please calm down and what was that suppose to mean?"

"I means I should have never came here Because now I'm …" she stopped. She couldn't hold back the tears. No matter how much she tried.

"You're what?"

"I'm terrified of you! I didn't need to look in your eyes feel your hatred, your anger, your desire to punish me. It was coming off of you in waves. Drowning me. What you did… I would rather be abused by my mother again." She whimpered. "It was less painful."

Darth Marr just sat there looking at his hands. Trying to find the right words to say. But he couldn't. No amount of apologizing would ever make up for what he did to her. Just like Mara said, it took her years to overcome what her mother did to her.

She finally looked over at him. He had tears in his eyes. Neither of them said anything for a long time. Finally she said. "I want off this ship, now. I-I don't want to be here."

"I understand. But I can't pull us out of hyperspace yet. We'll be home soon. Please just lay down and rest. You need it." He didn't wait for her to say anything else. He put his mask back on and threw his hood up. Before he left he turned around and told her "I let him go."

"What?"

"You heard me. I let the damn trooper go. I ordered my men to safely deliver him back to the republic."

"Why?"

He finally said with great sadness in his voice. "Because my wife asked me to." Before he walked out and closed the door.

She was alone. Again. With her thoughts. She laid there for hours crying to herself, Getting angry, and crying some more. She never expected this to happen. None of it. Marrying a Sith Lord. Joining him at war. Being hurt by the one person she loved most.

She tried to calm herself the only way she knew how. Meditation. She called upon the force for guidance. For Some clarity.

For hours she waited, meditating. It wasn't until late when he finally came back.

He tried to be quiet getting out of his armor so he wouldn't wake her. She was already up. She just laid there and waited for him to finish his shower.

She didn't even sit up before she spoke. "I forgive you." She said, Startling him.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you."

"I've been up. I've been waiting for you."

"I'm sorry I had a lot of work to do."

"I know. That's why waited up."

"Did you need something?"

She sat there looking at him for a few minutes before answering him. She couldn't be mad at him. Part of it was her fault. He did warn her. But part of her was still terrified of him. "You. I need you. I need my loving, protective husband back." Tears forming in her eyes again. He walked over to her side of the bed and sat next to her. "Don't ever… you can't… you can't be like my mother was. I would rather die than have to live like that again."

"I promise I'll never lay a hand on you again sweetheart. I'll do better. I- I'm so sorry. Please… let me try and make this up to you."

She didn't say anything. She just wrapped her arms around him pulling him to bed. They laid there the rest of the night in each other's arms.

The morning came and Darth Marr left clad in his armor, leaving Satele sleeping.

When he came back she was still sleeping. He gently woke her up. "Wake up, I got breakfast."

"I don't want breakfast." She said with her sleepy voice.

"Well you need it so get up and eat." She rolled over trying to ignore him."Don't make me force feed you."

"You wouldn't dare."

"I will if you don't get up." She still protested. "Sweetheart please You need to eat."

"Fine." She murmured as she kicked off her blanket.

"Thank you."

"You're lucky I love you."

"I know I am. I'm very lucky and very undeserving." He said giving her sad eyes.

"No, there's no one else in the galaxy who deserves my love more. I forgive you."

"You don't have to."

"No… I don't. But I do. But I'm telling you right now if you ever hurt me like that again I will leave."

"I promise. I promise It'll never happen again. I would rather die than ever hurt you like that. And I will spend the rest of my life trying to make up for everything that I've done wrong."

"Are you eating with me?"

"If you want me to."

"Well you are my husband." she said as she walked up to him taking off his mask. "Now that's the face I want to see." She said with a big smile on her face and she took his inner hands and kissed him.

They sat down to eat breakfast together, something they haven't done for in quite a while. They ate in relatively silence. Until she asked. "so what are the plans for today?"

"For you, nothing. You need to rest. For me I have some meetings later today before we land on Dromund Kaas."

"We're going home?"

"Yes, the council needs me back and wishes to interrogate some of the prisoners were picked up."

"Oh." She said rather sadly.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"That republic soldier…why did you protect him like that? who is he?"

She let out a sigh knowing she'll have to explain this without him thinking anything. "His name is Jace. He was one of my escorts to Korriban. He was really the only friend I made while I was in the order. A friend that actually talk to me and not just as a Jedi. He saw me as a person." She paused. "When I started having those dreams about you again, him was there to helped me with them, never judged me or lectured me."

He hesitated before asking. "Do you love him?"

She didn't hesitate. "Not the way I love you. The way you love Mara is the way I love him. As a friend, a brother."

"But you put yourself in harms way for him."

"I couldn't just let you kill him. Not without trying to save his life. You would had done the same for her." He didn't say anything, because she was right. "I'm sorry that I did that. I'm sorry I was disobedient with you in front of your men. You did warn me. It wasn't all your fault."

"I should be the one apologizing. I br-." He swallowed hard. "I broke your wrist, left bruises on your arm and back. Hell I threw you to the floor so hard it popped your stitches out and cut your head! I'm a terrible husband and … I wouldn't blame you if you left me."

"Marriages have both ups and downs, Goods and bads. Right now we're down, in a bad. We can't just give up. At least I can't. It might take some time for me to… get over it but I do forgive you."

"I'm not giving up, I'll fight for you till my last breath. I'm just saying I'll understand if you want to leave. I've been awful."

"I think it would be best if I just stayed at home from now on. Maybe I can find a job in Kaas city or something."

"No, I want you with me. When we leave for our next mission I'll inform the whole crew your my wife and will be treated with respect. Even though I won't have to."

"What do you mean?" Giving him a confused look.

"Those officers you saved. They couldn't stop going on about you. I saw what you did. You have a raw, beautiful talent Satele. You should be proud." She just sat there giving him a confused look, not knowing what he was talking about. "I watched the surveillance tapes of the battle. I underestimated you. You reacted better than I would have thought."

"They recorded me?"

"I guess so." He paused a moment looking at her. "Are you done?"

"Mmmhmm."

"Good, go rest. I'll be back in a while to check on you. What do you want for lunch. I'll have it brought here."

"Um, it doesn't matter. As long as I get to have lunch with you." She told him giving him another kiss before heading back to bed. He walked over and put the blanket over her. His hand pulled the hair away from her face."I love you, so much." He said giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"I love you too."

She closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep. She was definitely grateful for it. Her sore body needed the rest. Even with the kolto she still needed some time to heal.

She woke breathing heavy, heart racing , covered in sweat. She had a dream. More like a nightmare. A vision? She didn't know. She just knew the small part she saw she didn't like.
