Chapter 19: The Beginning of The End, Part Three

In the Royal Prayer Chambers of Mercury...

Queen Mercurine and Sive exchanged a stern look each when both female royals felt the energy ripple from the White Moon.

"Sive, it's time." Queen Mercurine told her only daughter.

"Right, mother." Sive nodded, having already sensed Amity's death earlier that day.

Both mother and daughter released the energy barrier around the Imperial Sapphire Crystal and channeled their life energy into the crystal.

The magic storm riffled outwards throughout the entire castle and planet, obliterating all signs of civilization and life.

On the other planetary castles...

Similar magical storms erupted with the planets' castles as the epicenter, utterly wiping out all life and rendering every planet, with the exception of Terra, completely inhabitable.

Three days later...

Garrett returned from his peace envoy expedition from Planet Mnemosyne, only to find, to his utter horror that his home had been leveled to the ground.

"Second Colonel Garrett." Sailor Pluto appeared to the lone survivor of Mercury's destruction through a portal.

"You..." Garrett materialized his spear and pointed it at the intruder. "Sailor Pluto..." he lowered his weapon. "What... happened..."

"The Moon Kingdom has fallen." the Outer Senshi of Revolution informed the spear user. "The Silver Millennium is no more. You and I are the last."

"What am I supposed to do now?" Garrett whispered in shock.

"Eternal life can be considered either a blessing or a curse." Sailor Pluto spoke. "Terra is now the only planet in the Solar System that is habitable now. Head there and see what you can do to salvage whatever that is left from Metalia's rampage."

"Understood." Garret received the order and bid farewell to his devastated home.

And so, the Silver Millennium arc of this story draws to a close.
