Chapter 23

It didn't take long to get back to Japan.

When they did, Toji was wrenched out of Megumi's shadow and was contained in a room. "Spit him out" he ordered.

Toji merely smirked to him. "Oh? What if I don't?" he asked with a shit eating grin on his face.

"It won't end well for you, and you were just reincarnated…" warned Nanami. "Just so you are aware, your inventory curse is only able to contain Itadori because Yuuji allows it to, should he decide not to be contained any more… Well… let's say your odds are not in your favor."

"Perhaps he needs a warning?" Megumi said. He came close to Toji, staring him in the eyes before he stared down at his stomach. "Yuuji, you can hear me, start resisting… but not too much."

"What the hell are you…"

His stomach suddenly ached.

Toji began to feel boated as his stomach suddenly distended! "What the fuck…" he muttered.

"That's his only warning, I just say the word and he will burst out of your gut." Fushiguro warned. "But, the choice is yours."

Toji looked rather startled. Why? Who knew at this point. But Fushiguro was getting impatient.

"Did he spit him out yet?"

Toji instantly smelt blood, to his left, he saw Suiryu return, drenched in it. "Not yet… I can safely assume the divine users are no longer an issue?" Nanami asked.

"Well… those guys are no longer an issue, but they are merely a piece of a bigger pie here. Either way, they are now off our backs." Suiryu's glare turned to Toji once more. "Hork him up, or I rip him out of you."

Toji froze but realized, this guy would seriously rip him out! With that, he managed to regurgitate the curse that has grown rather large, and he had some trouble getting it out. He gave it to Suiryu who left with it, but he will probably get it back later.

"Well, since alls well that ends well…" Toji announced. As he stood up from his chair, he was forced to sit back down by Megumi. "Not so fast. Since where the hell do you get off using my friend like that!" he demanded.

"Hey, it got the divine users off his case, well, I am sure it will, they ain't got no money to pay to get him anymore" he said in a teasing tone as he dangled his phone before Megumi. "Why are you so upset? No harm done here."

There came an odd exchange look between the two sorcerers in the room. Nanami glared down at Toji and stated. "The fact remains, you did this for the money that was on Itadori's head. Had there been no binding vow in place, you would have left him without hesitation."

"But there was one… I promised to bring him back home, which I did!" he insisted.

"After we saved your sorry ass, you never went up against a divine user before. They can control summons, or creatures of the same power to use in battle. Some are quite powerful as you saw and experienced." Megumi lectured. "Perhaps next time, you ought to ask for help or at least get more information."

He sneered to the lecture.

Suiryu returned and tossed his inventory curse back at him. "Don't pull this shit again," he warned.

"Look, if it's all the same to you. How about I just fuck off?" Toji asked aloud. "I mean, you guys obviously hate me, so why keep me around huh?"

There came a three way glare from the sorcerers in the room, they were turning to Suiryu oddly who merely smirked. "You know what, fine, go ahead and leave. Good luck out there, but my rule still applies to you on not killing innocent people, no matter the bounty."

He put his hands up in surrender. "No problem. In fact, I think I am going to retire being the sorcerer killer." He stated in a smug tone.

Suiryu gave a half smirk. "Really? I'd like to see that. In fact…" his hand went out, but the surge of curse energy that enveloped it was quickly noticed.

"I swear to God, everyone has been doing binding vows on each other, it's worst than pinkie swears…" muttered Megumi.

Toji smirked. "Sure, I'll vow to that." He shook Suiryu's hand instantly, sealing the deal that he won't become the sorcerer killer again.

But if that's the case, why does Suiryu have a wicked grin on his face. "Good luck" he said and wondered out of the room, yet his cackle… sent a chill down his spine.

He gathered up a few supplies.

Toji was going to leave with the clothing on his body and inventory curse. "How the hell did you get permission to leave?" demanded Geto who lingered in the doorway.

Toji paused and turned to him, but smirked. He was battered, black eye, fat lip… probably had worst wounds but were tended to. Still, it was rather hilarious. "That's the same outfit you wore the last time I faced you. You little school boy clothing huh?"

"Shut it!" he snapped back. "But seriously, I thought we had to defeat that Suiryu guy to gain our freedom."

"I thought so too, until I managed to trick him. You see, I got that dragon kid, used him to cash in on that wicked bounty not long ago. Ran into a little trouble, but everyone's fine. So with that, Suiryu and I made a binding vow. I won't become the sorcerer killer again, I don't need to with all that scratch I got," he said with a grin. "So, you can enjoy this dump, me, I'm out"

Geto smirked for a moment. "You cashed in the bounty on the dragon kid? You sure you got the money?"

"Of course I do, it's right here!" he said and showed his phone. It was linked to all the mini accounts he possesses, yet there was a problem.

"Wait… what… WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MONEY!"

"BAAAHHHHHHAHAHA!" bawled Geto. "You didn't get paid!"

"Shut it, I did! It was right here in my phone!" he protested. "How the hell…" but then he remembered that look on Suiryu's face. "How could that fucker…" instead of trying to figure it out, he confronted Suiryu on the notion.

He was going in armed!
