Chapter 27
"There he goes, acting all weird again."
"But he always acts weird."
"This is more so than usual."
Gojo was watching it all from afar, Suiryu has been acting strange for a short while. Yua noticed it the moment he returned from a walk last week, he wore a strange, dragon scale kimono. Yet ever since then, he has been doing everything possible to keep clean, even Yuuji has been trying to keep himself rather prim and proper to say the least. "This is rather unsettling for you isn't it?" Gojo asked of her.
She nodded. "He's acting paranoid, Yuuji is doing everything possible to ensure he doesn't get dirty when before I know these two would playfully shove each other into the mud if given the chance."
Gojo however was grinning from ear to ear. "You don't say… so… do we find out what's going on?" he asked with a playful grin.
"I think I got a good idea," she replied and smirked to it all. "But the thing is, no matter what they do, it's going to happen again."
"Oh? So you KNOW what's going on huh?"
"Part of the perk I got when I was reincarnated. I have knowledge of dragons and able to speak their tongue. But just from what I have seen between these two, I already know what's happening… and if I am correct, they are now on a schedule."
"Oooo, tell, tell!" Gojo insisted. "Come on, you can tell me!"
Yua rolled her eyes to it all. "If I do, I want a binding vow,"
He was taken aback by her demand. "Really? That serious?" he questioned, but that smile only grew. "Which means… this is some good stuff huh?"
"I won't speak another word of it… uh oh…" she said and her smile suddenly matched his own.
"Wait, did Yuuji just vanish into thin air?" Peering out the window, he saw Suiryu appear startled as he tried to hide or at least get somewhere else… when he too suddenly disappeared!
"It's happening…" she snickered.
Gojo turned to her. "Okay… I GOT to know what's happening now! Make a binding vow and tell me!"

"STOP IT! I ALREADY SHOWERED! HEY! QUIT IT!" Suiryu was doing everything he could to not swear at her. Yet at the same time, he wasn't in the mood to be bathed in such a way! She snagged Yuuji earlier as he was already sitting on the blanket to dry off. Suiryu was grabbed just a few minutes ago.
"You are not clean yet, stay still!" she ordered as her tongue ran up his spine once more.
"GAH!" he screamed aloud until she looked him over.
"Okay, you're good now," she said proudly and placed him next to Yuuji.
"Why are you doing this?" Suiryu demanded. "Why the hell give us a bath like that!"
She appeared a little confused. "I always bathe my children this way"
"I ain't your kid!" Suiryu snapped back. "I'm not even a dragon and yet you are tongue bathing me!?"
Suddenly, she came in uncomfortably close, her eye bore into his, nearly startling him as he saw his own reflection in her glare. But then, he saw it… the same flames Yuuji had before with his curse marks when possessed by Ryujin, but his… not all of them were on fire. Not to mention a good portion of him still looked normal, yet parts of him were aflame. "What the hell…" he whispered.
She pulled away but chuckled. "You are one," she said. "And incomplete dragon,"
He froze to the news, so did Yuuji. 'Incomplete dragon? How is that possible?'
"It happens very rarely, but within your brother, is what remains of my son's soul. Ryujin," she explained. "It's trying to fuse with Suiryu to make his soul whole, but he hasn't come to accept it yet."
Silence befell them. Suiryu sat there, stunned to the news the most. "Ryujin… no… no this isn't right!" he protested. "I had no intention…"
"And that's why it is within you."
Suiryu shook his head in protest. "I came from the bastard that harmed and killed many, HOW the hell did I become worthy to be a dragon!" he demanded.
She was silent for a moment, she stared down Suiryu rather oddly. "You forget yourself and what you went through," she said gently. "I suggest you think it over, Suiryu. And until then, I will continue to return here… I will continue to bathe you as I see fit, for a mother tends to her children." She stated in a rather matter of fact tone. Then her gaze shifted to Yuuji. "You are nearly ready for your second feeding," she said. Her talon reached over and gently nudged his belly, he didn't sound full anymore and his body was becoming firm.
Yuuji shied away from the sudden attention, he was embarrassed enough as it is. "This… this isn't right though… I mean my body…"
"Hush now, and don't be too concerned about it. Until next week…" just like that she vanished without a trace.
Suiryu sat there stunned to it all, he shook his head in disbelief, but Yuuji was smiling to him. 'Just like me… you're going to be a dragon too!' he appeared thrilled with the notion.
Him… not so much. "How… why… I mean… I thought Ryujin would reincarnate again… or he could have taken over my body to live, he had the strength to evict Sukuna!" he protested. He suddenly stared down at his hands. "Why… why is this happening?"
'Does it matter? Ryujin was dying, I was told his soul essence had to either be absorbed or released throughout the world. If it was disburse, there would be wars, the divine and the divine users would fight for it, to gain more power for themselves…' Yuuji explained.
"How the hell do you even know that?!" Suiryu demanded.
He shrugged his shoulders. 'Sometimes it just comes to me, but what I said is true. Divine users and creatures would have gone to war over the essence of a dragon.'
Suiryu still refused to believe it. "I don't deserve it,"
'I think you do,' Yuuji replied, just as clothing appeared on both of them. Another kimono for Suiryu, this time white scales. Yuuji, his usual outfit. 'Let's go back and talk about it okay? It's not that bad, right?'
Suiryu glared at him. "Let me know after your second feeding," he said with a sneer.
Yuuji then paused oddly. 'What ARE they feeding me?'
"Wait, you don't know?!"
He shook his head. 'My mind goes blank when that happens, I don't remember anything… I just wake up fat.'
Suiryu rolled his eyes to it all. "I don't even know if I should tell you this…"
Yuuji glared over at him. 'Tell me what? What they are feeding me? What's making me so fat? Tell me!' he demanded.
He saw the desperate look in his eyes, with a sigh, Suiryu confessed to him. "Dragon milk," he said.
His confused look didn't vanish. 'So, I've been living off of that for a while, what's the big deal?'
"It comes directly from mom," he said, but then paused. "Damn it, I said it again…"
He look of confusion didn't change. 'It comes from mom?'
"DIRECTLY from mom… her… the one tongue bathing us…"
Suddenly it hit him. Yuuji went a little pale in the face as he glared at Suiryu. 'You're messing with me, right?'
But there was no evil grin, there was no smile indicating that he was. Yuuji began to look sick at the discovery. 'Oh God…'
"Bro, honestly, it's not as bad as you think. Not to mention, she's the one taking care of you and ensuring you're going to get through this. As well, there isn't a better dragon to be getting your sustenance from."
He didn't feel any better. 'We never speak of this again'
"Agreed,"
