The person who had opened the door into train compartment that had Shane and Mitchie in it, stood tall and had a curious look on his face. Once he saw them, then, he moved into the room and made his way to the table of where they were sitting. As he went to sit down with them, both Mitchie and Shane could tell that the person has been already drinking alcohol. That concerned Mitchie,who was this person and how could they talk to him? It would be like talking to a bottle. The smell of alcohol got to the table before he did. What in the world are they going to do? This situation just kept getting mor and more unreal. Mitchie then turned her head around to Effie, who was at another seat, as she was fixing her makeup.
"Hey, who is this?", asked Mitchie.
Effie, then, turned her head towards Mitchie.
"Well, that is Haymitch, he is going to be your mentor.",said Effie.
