7. Being Close to her

Soooooooooooooooooooooo hope you are sitting comfortably for this one. This may be a long one for ya'll, I've finished 3 chapters of 3 different stories in the gap of 2 days, I am so proud of myself. Chapter 7 – Being Close to her

7 amazing days had passed since Goku and Chichi decided to train together, and everyday Goku and chichi have been getting up early to train together. Starting off with runs to deliver milk to the people of the kingdom, The Ox king had chichi doing this when she began training as Roshi did with Goku and Krillin. Everyone got their milks before breakfast, they then would eat and then began their training of light sparring and Goku taught Chichi how to improve Her Kamehameha wave. By the afternoons, chichi had to go and run her errands around the kingdom while Goku would spend his time with Krillin and Yamcha or just meditating, but as soon as he found out she was free, he was back training with her in a heartbeat. Chichi was always pleased Goku was committed to training with her. Today she had a day off from her duties as a princess so she could spend the whole day training with Goku.

Today Goku and Chichi were both Meditating by the lake, both concentrating their energy around their bodies. Goku focused his energy on thoughts of Fighting Piccolo, worrying if he would ever harm anyone. Like Master Roshi, Or Krillin or Bulma, but especially Chichi. For some reason every time he focused his thoughts on someone hurting her, His energy doubled in strength, as if he felt very protective. Meanwhile chichi focused her energy on the fear of a war happening between her kingdom and the others should she not marry. She didn't want a fight to happen but she would fight if she had to. Her energy began to spike rather high as Goku opened his eyes and noticed her shaking during her mediation.

'Chichi?' he held her shoulder, snapping her out of her trance. She opened her eyes and lowered her power level and breathed out

'Wow that was intense' she exhaled

'What were you thinking about?'

'Just, possibilities…..'

'Well if you'd like, how bout we spar it out?' He asked getting up and stretching out his legs as she nodded

'You're on!' She smiled as she stretched her waist and stood before him, she tightened the bow in her hair as they both circled the other, waiting for the first one to attack.

Chichi attacked Goku at the same time as he attacked her, Goku blocked her kicks and punches from his face. He had to admit, She had gotten much stronger since they started training but Goku was confident he will still win. Chichi pulled back, mentally planning her next attack on Goku. she repelled first, flying to Goku with her fist extended. Goku ducked from her fist and hit Her back with his own. Goku formed an orange energy blast and shot it at Chichi. She knocked it away and formed a distructo disc, a move favoured by Krillin and threw it at Goku. Goku ducked and the disc just caught the top of his hair!

'Ahh! My hair!' he gasped

'You were lucky it wasn't you're head' she smirked

Goku let out a battle cry as he flew towards Chichi enjoying the thrill of the fight. Chichi threw multiple punches at him. Goku caught one of her fists and punched her in the face sending her crashing to the ground. What Goku also liked about her is that she wasn't afraid of fighting or getting punched, in fact it thrilled her and made her feel she could take on anything. Chichi smirked as she saw the deep imprint she had made on the concrete floor.

'So, it seems you've gotten a lot smarter and stronger since we last fought, Goku'

'So, have you' Goku countered as he resumed his fighting stance. 'But I'm still a lot stronger'

Goku flew to Chichi and they resumed fighting on the ground throwing kicks and punches at each other. With her quick agility, Chichi caught one of Goku's wrist. Goku growled and tried to punch her with his other hand but she caught that one too. Goku was shocked to discovered that Chichi caught both his hands. She wasn't nearly this strong when they last fought. Chichi gave Goku one of her fighting smirks and kicked him in the stomach hard sending Goku flying away from her.

'You were saying?' she grinned as he huffed. After a few seconds, Goku had regain his strength and threw out a kick, but Chichi blocked it with her knee. Chichi and Goku crushed their hands together as if each were trying to squeeze the life out of each other's hand. Chichi head butted him. Goku broke free and rubbed his aching head.

'Ahhh that Hurt!' he whimpered

'Oh quit being a baby' She laughed squaring up to him. She charged on Goku anyway. Goku grabbed Chichi' arms and slammed her against a nearby tree. As she plummeted to the floor, Goku pulled his hands back to form the Kamehameha Wave. But before he could finish, Chichi fired a ki blast at him. Goku wiped it away with a hand as if it was a fly.

'It's gonna take more than that for you to stop me.'

'You may very well be right, but I'm still gonna try.' She replied and ran towards Goku and their hands clamped together. Chichi smirked whereas Goku wondered what she was thinking with this attacked move. In a flash, Chichi had jumped up and landed a hard kick with both feet to his face! Goku was sent hurling back rolling on the ground. Goku got up and flew towards her with a hard attack, sent her flying back into the water. Goku hovered over the water looking around to see if she was there, he was worried he had hit her too hard. However he was caught off guard when he felt a pair of hands grab him by his boot and he was pulled into the water too! He swallowed a big gulp of lake water by accident and spat it back up as she whipped her wet hair back behind her head

'That wasn't fair' he coughed as she laughed

'Battle is never fair' she smirked as he splashed some water at her, she then did the same back as they both began splashing the other and laughing aloud, after that, they both swam out of the lake.

'Okay, I think we can call it a day there' He laughed as she nodded

'Agreed. Considering you have now ruined my clothes, I think I've earned a long hot bath' she laughed as he agreed

'Yeah I have to say chichi, you're getting so good at this. You're doing amazing' he grinned, she blushed a little and smiled

'You too. I have to admit, even when I trained with my father, I always thought he was holding back, its good to know you won't. Helps me get stronger'

'Well you should be proud of yourself' he said as they walked back to the castle. On their way back they noticed a crowd of people surrounding something

'What the….?' Chichi ran over to see two of her father's guards wrestling with an elderly man. 'What do you think you're doing?!' she yelled as the guards bowed to her

'Your highness!' the guard bowed

'Answer me! What do you both think you're playing at!?'

'Punishing this civilian, my lady'

'And what is he supposed to have done?' she asked frowning

'He's refusing to pay the King's tax.' One of them answered, Chichi was confused. The tax was fair and everyone paid on time. She grabbed the scroll and checked the payments and it was all in order.

'This man paid his tax 3 days ago, why are you here again forcing more money out on him?'

'Not just him my lady, everyone has had to pay more, the tax is far too low for resources and the people need to be contributing more' the guard answered

'Says who?'

'Prince Zephyr Ma'am' the other answered. Chichi frowned, Zephyr had no right to involve himself in the affairs of her father's kingdom, he wasn't even her fiancée and he was already trying to interfere in matters that were not his concern

'Please….! You….. you ask for too much.' The elderly man pleaded as Chichi looked to the citizens, seeing they had been stripped of the money and possessions, Chichi frowned.

'Is this what he does? Forces people to give him money' Goku whispered

'Its sick!' she huffed

'I've given all I can.' The elderly man begged

'That's not enough!' the guard yelled slapping him down, Chichi looked at him and to her people who stared at her imploringly. She turned to her guards

'Let me see.' She ordered as she looks in the money pouch and helps the elderly man to his feet and hands

'Your highness…?' he questioned her actions and gasped when she gave his money back to him.

'Release him.' She ordered

'But Prince Zephyr said...'

'Who is your king, guard?' she asked as he gulped

'Your father, ma'am'

'Correct. Prince Zephyr Is not the ruler here, my father is. And as The king's daughter, and heir to the throne of the fire Kingdom I order you to Release this man!' she frowned. The guards bowed and let go of the old man as she looked to the rest of her people 'And Give them back their money. All of it!' She ordered as she and Goku leave, her people smiled and bowed to her. Goku smiled at her too.

'That was very nice of you'

'I don't take kindly to people who abuse their power. Especially to someone who has no right' she huffed

'I think you'll find, I have every right' Zephyr walked behind the two, they turned to face him and both frowned. Chichi more.

'You have no authority to strip my people of their possessions. They have a right to their belongings'

'Well forgive me, but you are not running a charity, you are running a kingdom, and we both know how expensive that is, the tax show you're running here barely pays for your guard's armoury.'

'Unlike your kingdom, I don't just go stripping my people of their possessions to fund myself. I intend to make sure My father's kingdom is happy and protected'

'You don't know the half of running a kingdom do you? You best hope there won't be a war between our kingdoms, otherwise you're gonna be in trouble with the likes of my King's guard' he smirked

'Are you threatening me Zephyr?'

'I'm merely implying, Chichi' He grinned

'Perhaps you ought to let Her highness carry on with her business.' A voice called walking down the steps of the citadel and walking towards the Young Prince 'And should you have any inquires about the well being of the townsfolk, take them up with me, rather than send the guards down to beat those who cannot fend for themselves. Do I make myself clear, Your highness?' the Way Krone spoke to Zephyr the Air Prince found it extremely patronising. And embarrassing, especially in front of Chichi, who stood there looking smug with herself.

'Very well, if you'll excuse me' Zephyr moved passed The 3 and returned to his quarters.

'Thank you Krone' She sighed

'Your welcome Your Highness. Perhaps you ought to get yourself out of those wet clothes. You wouldn't want to catch a cold' he instructed as she nodded

'Well i… I better go'

'Yeah, maybe we could train some more tomorrow?' he asked as she nodded.

'I'd like that' she turned to leave and went to walk up the steps when she heard a loud rumble, she Turned to Goku. 'What was that?' she asked

'Oh I guess it was my stomach' he laughed nervously

'I guess you haven't eaten all day huh?' she asked as he shook no

'You wouldn't know of anywhere with a lot of meat to eat do you?' he asked

'You should try 'The Phoenix' it's a restaurant not far from the Citadel. I'm sure you'll find all the meat you want in there'

'Huh, you wanna come with me?'

'Well I would but I need to get cleaned up'

'Well yeah me too, how bout later? We can meet here in 2 hours' he suggested. If chichi was understanding this correctly, was it Possible Son Goku was asking her on a date?!

'I…Umm…'

'Come on Chichi, It'll be fun' He said as she looked to him. His piercing eyes looking into hers, hoping to hear the answer he wanted to hear. Chichi complied and sighed

'Okay I guess I'll go with you' she nodded

'Great! So Meet here in 2 hours?' He asked

'2 hours, see you then' she said and took off to her room, she couldn't get into the shower fast, excited for the night ahead.

Krillin and Yamcha were in their room doing meditation of their own With Bulma and Launch sitting on the bed reading, Goku had just finished his shower and was walking around in his towel. Since his Gi was soaked from the lake, he though it be best to wear something else, the problem was, he didn't know what. Bulma noticed his lack of clothing and looked curios

'Goku why don't you put some clothes on?' She asked

'Well I would but their all wet, I need to wait for them to be dry, I have to hurry, I'm supposed to meeting chichi In an hour' he exclaimed

'Another sparring session, don't you think you should take it easy for today? You've been training a lot the past few days' Launch asked

'We're not training, we're gonna go get some food together' he simply answered. Bulma's eyes widened and she smiled

'Wait wait wait! You're telling me you're going on a DATE?!' Bulma squeal was enough to Catch Krillin and Yamcha's attention, they turned to their friend and grinned

'You!? A Date!? That is a joke if I ever heard one!' Yamcha laughed

'What's a date?' Goku asked as Krillin shook his head

'Goku, a date is when you take a girl out to dinner, or going to activity centres…'

'Or go see a movie?' Bulma added

'Or just walk around and talk' Launch added

'Well we are going to get food, so I guess this is a date' Goku said. Yamcha and Krilin looked at the other in shock

'I can't believe you got a date before I did!' Krillin huffed

'Oh grow up Krillin, if this is a date. We need to make sure you're looking perfect, Launch?' Bulma smirked as they both began to rummage through the wardrobes to look for something, Goku looked to the guys who just shrugged. Bulma and Launch found some things and handed them to Goku

'Here try these on' Bulma instructed

'We think they'll look good on you' Launch smiled as Goku trusted their instincts and got dressed. After sometime, he emerged from the bathroom dressed in a long black sleeve shirt and dark grey pants and threw on a black jacket. Bulma and Launch looked at him and both smiled

'Ooooo you look so handsome Goku' Launch smiled

'You think Chichi will like this?' he asked

'Oh Totally! Now remember, chichi is a little more elegant than you are so your gonna have to be on you're best behaviour' Bulma lectured

'Try not to order so much food' Launch giggled

'And try making her laugh, girls like that' Yamcha smiled

'And remember. Do Not Piss Her Off. The girl doesn't take crap from anybody' Krillin finished as Goku nodded.

'Okay I guess I'll see you guys later.' Goku waved and was out the door.

'Think it's gonna go well?' Ymahca asked

'I have no idea….. this is Goku we're talking about' Krillin answered

Goku stood outside in the centre of the citadel, waiting for Chichi, he couldn't help but feel nervous for some reason, its not like they were gonna fight or anything, but than again, he knew where he stood when it came to fighting.

'How long is she gonna take?' he asked himself

'You been waiting long?' A voice called behind him, he knew who it was

'No its okay I just…..ummm…' he stopped when he saw her walking down the steps, Chichi wore a beautiful short a-line magenta Pink coloured dress that reached just below her knees, her hair tried in a messy bun showing off her silver hoop earrings and she wore a silk White shawl around her shoulders and a pair of white slip on shoes. It wasn't much but Goku thought she looked lovely. it was strange to see her outside of her training gi, but he liked he had the chance.

'You look nice in these clothes, are they yours?' she asked as he awkwardly laughed

'No no, Bulma and Launch helped me out'

'They did a good job, its strange to not see you in your Gi clothes' she laughed

'Yeah same goes to you' he nodded as they stood there, awkwardly. 'So where was this place you mentioned?'

'Just down her on the right. You can't miss it' she smiled as they started walking through the kingdom, The evening was warm and cosy and several subjects all bowed to Chichi as she walked through her kingdom, Goku noticed at there were several young people in twos hugging eachother and kissing eachother as they laughed with eachother.

'They seem happy' he pointed as she smiled

'They ought to be, relationships are a sweet thing' she answered

'Relationships?'

'Well you know, when two people get together for the rest of their lives. Its what they will do I hope' she said as Goku looked at them and wondered

'But why? To be happy?'

'I guess that's one of the reasons but I think what they feel is more than happiness'

'What's that?'

'Their in love Goku, People feel so many things when they are with the person they have fallen for, It's a very powerful feeling' She smiled as Goku nodded. It was interesting. They finally arrived at the restaurant as The owner brought Chichi and Goku to one of the finest tables in the room. Chichi removed her shawl and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, Goku smiled, she looked kinda cute doing that. The waiter brought them a couple of menus as she looked through. Goku wasn't sure, everything looked incredible but Launch Told him to now order too much food. He needed to behave like a gentleman.

'What can I get you?' the waiter asked

'I'll have the duck in Hoisin sauce please' she asked as he took the order then turned to Goku, He was looking nervous but then sighed

'The same' he said the waiter nodded, chichi was confused

'Th…that's it?' she asked

'Yeah its fine….I'm not that hungry'

'Goku your stomach rumbled and the kingdom thought there was an earthquake' she joked as he blushed 'Come on have as much as you want' she laughed 'Excuse me?' She called for the waiter to comeback

'Yes Ma'am?'

'Can you also add 1 of each of the entrees with our meal?' she asked as his eyes widened

'One of each, of the 30?' He asked as she nodded

'Yes, please' she smiled as he nodded and left. Chichi smiled at Goku who was looking at her

'Thanks, I didn't want to embarrass you, I don't know why I can eat so much' he said feeling grateful.

'Its okay, I do find it fascinating, its like you have 6 stomachs or something' she laughed

'You know if anyone ever tried to look, it wouldn't surprise me.'

'Well you are remarkably different, I mean you look like a normal guy but….. I don't know there's something about you'

Like what?'

'Well your insane appetite for one, your remarkably strong, your stamina is extremely tolerable, oh and also you used to have a tail! Speaking of which, what happened to it?' she asked

'Well you see when …..' Goku went on to tell her the story about him loosing his tail and told her all about how he trained with Kami and Mr Popo after King piccolo, Chichi had no idea Kami was Piccolo or vice a versa but it was fascinating. Goku liked that she took interest in him when he talked, most of the time people would tell him to be quiet and fight to save them but she was very much interested. He liked that about her. As he talked the food all arrived and he still talked, he was taking his time eating because he loved to talk to her, he felt like he could tell her everything.

'Wait so Kami gave you the opportunity to be a guardian and you turned it down?' She asked

'Yeah he said I would be a great asset to the planet but I didn't want that'

'But he said you could have anything you desired, knowing you that be like an eternity of free home cooked meals' she joked as he laughed

'Well I said the earth still needed him, Besides being a Guardian is not what I want'

'And what do you want?' she asked as he looked at her, her eyes staring into his, his heart picking up the pace a little

'I guess I'm still looking' he answered making he smile, he looked around the table and noticed a small blob of green paste sitting next to one of his dishes 'Oh hey what's this stuff?' he said as he went to place the whole thing in his mouth. Chichi gasped.

'Wait Goku's that's…!' She was too late, Goku had gulped the whole thing and swallowed. He took a moment to taste it but then he felt his face heat up and his eyes began to water.

'*WEEZE* *GASP* *WHEEZE* WHAT WAS THAT?!' He shrieked

'Wasabi' she answered trying not to laugh at his reaction, she handed him a glass of water as he quickly chugged it down

'Oh God Its Awful!' He moaned as she laughed

'I tried to warn you' she giggled giving him more water, eventually he calmed down and rested his head on the table, Chichi couldn't help but giggle.

'*GROAN*

'You feeling okay?'

'I don't wanna eat anymore' he said as she smiled

'Probably for the best, Wasabi is a little intense, especially when you chug the whole thing down like a piece of cake' she smiled as the waiters cleared away their food. Chichi looked at him and he looked a little better

'Why don't we go for a little walk hmm? some fresh air always helps the airways' she suggested as he nodded

'Good idea' he answered as Chichi went to pay, the owner said it was on the house. They both left the restaurant and began to stroll down the kingdom. Goku saw there was a lot of people out in the evening, having food, singing in crowds and children playing, it was fun to walk around and watch them.

'Wow, people in your dad's kingdom are really happy' he said

'We try our best to do what we can for them, just because my father and I are a higher class doesn't make these people any less important' she said as she waved to some children, Goku looked and noticed a young boy with his lady friend, he saw a rose bush and picked a flower from the bush to give to her, she seemed so happy with the gesture, Goku thought what chichi would do. He passed by the same bush and did the same, handing her a beautiful red rose.

'For you' he said kinda goofy as she giggled and happily accepted it.

'Oh its beautiful, thank you' she smiled smelling the sweet flower, well he got her to smile so it worked

'Hey what's going on over there?' he pointed to the square as there was music playing and people dancing, Goku and chichi walked over and stood on the side-line watching the folk dance to the upbeat music

'It's a party, the locals try to throw one once a week to build morale in the kingdom, we like it, its nice to see how happy they are and entertaining to watch' she smiled

'Well they look happy enough.'

'Its good to know, I'm glad they feel comfortable here, I'd never forgive myself should anything happen to anyone' she sighed as he looked at her

'I know you wouldn't let anything happen to them, you're strong, and brave enough for them. Their lucky to have you' he simply implied. Chichi blushed at his comment and smiled

'Thank you'

'Well boys, it's time to pick out your lady friends cause we're gonna take things a little slow right now' the lead singer of the local band smiled as his music began to play, the couples, young to senior all swayed slowly to the music.

'That's so sweet' Chichi smiled watching all the couple slowly sway.

'It looks slow' he said as she nodded

'Yeah it supposed to be' she chuckled, Goku looked at her and turned to her and smiled

'You wanna try?' he asked as she laughed

'Oh no I'm not a great dancer' she blushed

'Neither am I, in fact I never have, but I can try' he said as she looked at him and softly smiled

'Okay' she stopped leaning on the wall as She stood in front of Goku. Goku looked at how the guys held their partners and tried to mimic. He took her right hand in his and gently wrapped his arm around her small waist. Chichi couldn't help but blush at this but she also felt so much excitement. She gently placed her arm on his shoulder as they both slowly started to sway to the music.

With the music filling the air, everyone dancing with their own partners and the small fairy lights hanging above them, The atmosphere was magic. Goku started to move a little loosely to the music taking her with him.

Goku Noticed several guys dipping their lady partners holding them close, their laughter filling the air, Goku took the chance, her swayed with Chichi and dipped making her shriek and laugh, Goku couldn't help but laugh too, it was fun, hearing her laugh was making him happy.

Goku looked in her eyes and he felt like his heart was gonna burst of its chest like a jack in the box, only if the Jack saw a cute girl and wanted to jump out of the box and not go back! He didn't understand what was happening to him, it was like, ever since he met her, or at least saw her again. He just wanted to be near her, when she was upset with him, it made him hurt. He never wanted to hurt her, more than he's never wanted to hurt anyone before.

The way she stared at him as they danced to the music, Goku never felt so much warmth and comfort in his life, he felt safe with her, and he could be himself around her. She didn't ask him to change who he was because she understood him. Knowing what she belived and what she felt it was stirring these feelings again. Feelings that made him week in the knees, his heartbeat pounding, his smile curling and his skin warm. He just couldn't shake what these feelings were, until he remembered something she had said earlier

'Their in love Goku, People feel so many things when they are with the person they have fallen for, It's a very powerful feeling'

Was this is it then? Had Goku just fallen in Love with Chichi? When he looked down at her, her face looking at him with happiness and beauty, but behind that, he saw her kindness, her bravery, her honour, loyalty, and her strength. She was a remarkable woman and he admired her for it, but admiration was too weak. That word wasn't the reason he'd wake up in the morning and think of her, or when he goes to sleep and she's the last thing on his mind. No! It was more.

Goku lifted her gently and spun her around in his arms as she smiled, Chichi never knew she could feel so much emotion for one man, she knew she always crushed on him when they were children but that didn't compare to what she felt for him now. The way his eyes pierced into hers, his smile and the way he looked at her, she couldn't hide it anymore. She knew, she was falling in love with him.

Everything was magic! Nothing could take away this moment, Goku knew he had seen and done remarkable things in his life, but none of it compared to this moment, with her. Spinning and dancing in the moonlight as the lights shined down on them both, staring at the other intensely.

They held their positions for a few moments, all the surroundings were muffled out of their minds as they just stared. Nothing else just stared. He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, to get a clear view of her enchanting face, her eyes looking deep into his own. Goku knew, and chichi Knew. They were in love. Chichi broke the silence as she cleared her throat and smiled at him softly.

'I had a really great time' she smiled as he nodded

'Me too' he still held her in his arms as they continued dancing through the night

Up in the castle, Krillin, Yamcha, Bulma, Launch and Tien were all hanging out on the girl's bedroom balcony when the spotted Goku and chichi dancing in the courtyard. Bulma and Launch couldn't help but gawk at the sweetest sight, whereas Krillin, Yamcha and Tien were just baffled!

'I ….. I can't….. how….!?' Krillin was lost for words

'Oh Bulma, I think Our Goku is in Love!' Launch squealed as Bulma nodded.

'Our boy is growing up, I can't believe it!'

'I never knew Goku could….you know…. Meet somebody and fall in love' Tien said

'Why not? You did' Launch winked as he blushed

'That's not what I meant, he just never showed an interest, or talked about it, or even thought about it!'

'He was way more focused on training than anything' Krillin added

'Well I guess he makes an exception on chichi. I mean….she is very beautiful' Bulma smiled

'I know! So how come he gets a pretty girl and I don't?!' Krillin huffed as Yamcha sniffled a little, Tien looked to his friend and was trying not to laugh

'Dude Are you crying?' he asked

'No! I ….. Shut up!' Yamcha said as the others laughed. Meanwhile over at the King's balcony, Master Roshi stood with the ox King, the two of them also noticing the young couple dancing in the square.

'I have never seen him like this before' Roshi exclaimed

'And Chichi has never smiled liked that before, I'm telling you master, I think its happening' He smiled

'It would seem so, Goku has done remarkable things, pushed himself beyond my level of power, I thought he couldn't do anything else to surprise me, but I was wrong. I suppose even he can find someone like your daughter'

'I just want her to be happy, and if that is with Goku. I support this union' The ox king chuckled as a dark crow was sitting above them on a pillar and flew away, he flew towards on of the towers of the castle, the guest room of the Young prince of the Air kingdom landing on his arm

'What have you found?' he asked

'*Caw* Your not gonna like it *Caw*' He responded

'Talk!'

'*Caw* The princess, and the fighter, in love *Caw*'

'Humph! We'll see about that!' Zephyr rose from his chair and headed out down the corridor towards the ox King's quarters when he bumps into Krone

'Oh I'm sorry you're highness' he bowed

'Watch where you are going you old fool!' The prince yelled and kept on walking

'Sire, may I ask where you are going? You're room is the other side!'

'Not that is any of your business, but I must see the Ox King, Immediately!'

'I'm sorry in what regard?'

'His daughter's hand in marriage!' He huffed, Krone looked uneasy and followed

'My lord, I'm afraid I must speak on the behalf of my lady, she will not be accepting your proposal' he said as The prince stopped

'You seem sure of yourself!'

'I am. I am saving you the trouble of being humiliated in front of the court, she will say no'

'Oh really? And does she know what will happen if she says no? there will be a war' The prince yelled as Krone frowned, this was a brat if he ever saw one!

'She is aware, she is also aware that if she meets and marries before her 20th birthday, the 3 kingdoms will not wage a war with her, the only insult you will have is if she were to not marry at all, the loophole of that being, she can marry whomever she desires' he smirked

'Oh and I suppose she has someone in mind'

'I cannot speak for her highness on that front, but I do know her emotions are growing for one particular man, and i believe she intends to keep it that way'

'You cannot talk to me like this!'

'I give a warning Young sir, You keep your distance from the young couple! They are happy! And I intend to ensure they remain happy, Are we clear?' Krone warned, Zephyr hated Krone! This was a confirmation that when he will be king, he will Have The princess' advisor's head on a spike!

'I will return to my room' Zephyr said in a low dark tone

'Have a pleasant evening, sir' Krone Grinned and left him to it, Zephyr returned to his room and huffed, Looks like he had no choice!

'Crow!' he called out as the crow landed on his arm 'Send a message to my King's guard in the air Kingdom, tell them….to prepare the towers, we will be having guests shortly'

*Caw* are you sure master? *caw* he asked as he grabbed the neck of his feathered servant

'Do as I say or I will let my men, kill you, pluck you and stuff you and cook you!' he threated making the little bird's eye screech!

'*CAW* I'M GOING I'M GOING I'M GONE! *CAW* The prince let him go as the crow took off into the night sky as he watched him fly.

'If Plan A doesn't go to Plan, Then Bring on Plan B' He smirked

OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH ominous is it not? Hope you guys enjoyed this, by the way that song was 'Don't wanna lose you now' By the backstreet boys. It was stuck in my head as I wrote this chapter and decided to squeeze it in there, and my friend advised on the Wasabi bit. I thought it would a cute/funny moment between the 2. LOL.
