The next morning at dawn, 100 Japanese Zeros each with a device on them stood lined up covering half the runway. And many soldiers stood by the runway.
And Wong watched the sunlight till eventually the beams of the sun peaked over the mountains.
He then turns to a button on the dashboard and pushed it.
The devices on the Zeros lit green as then the engines started as there was no pilot in them. And soon, the lead plane rolls off gaining speed and soon took to the air as the other planes followed one by one. Once they were all in the air, they got in V formation in groups of 10 and headed off.
Over at Middleton, residents were still either, sleeping, waking up, or getting ready for work.
And at the Possible house, James was heading off to work.
"All right, see you when I get home." James said.
"Bye, hon." Ann said and kissed her husband's cheek.
"See ya, Dad." Jim said.
"See ya, boys." James said. "And stay out of trouble."
"We won't." Tim said.
James soon drives off.
"All right, let's get ya 2 to school." Ann said.
20 miles away from Middleton, the fleet of Zeros flew as the devices on their side panels allowed them to fly undetected.
And the Zero fleet were beginning to approach Middleton.
At his base, Wong checks the position of the Zeros as a table shows a holographic map and reed blimps as the Zeros as they were several miles from Middleton.
At Middleton University, everyone was asleep.
At her room, Kim was asleep as her alarm clock then rang now 7 A.M., and she woke up and turned it off. She then yawned and got up and got ready for the day.
Unaware of the hundred fighter planes coming her way.
The Zeros continued their route towards Middleton as they near the city, and 3 groups of them peel off as they were heading towards Middleton University.
At Middleton University, some people were already up as they soon noticed the planes above them.
Meanwhile, Kim now dressed as already left and heading to meet up with Ron.
And for a second she thought she heard a plane flying by as she looked around.
"Who the heck would be flying a plane this low by a college?" Kim frowned.
Elsewhere at the school, other Zeros were beginning to close in as they then got in attack formation.
Around the campus, students were hanging when they then saw the planes and watched as they fly overhead. Then a lone Zero locks onto a section of building where no one was inside, and then a bomb was released as it fell and broke through a window. And then an explosion was set up as 2 students were knocked off their feet from the blast.
Nearby, Kim hear the explosion.
"Wha...?!" Kim exclaimed.
Ron soon appeared as they soon saw a few Zeros fly above them and soon watched as the entire campus was being bombarded.
Students then ducked as a passing Zero flies by and soon ran.
Another Zero fires as Kim and Ron quickly ran as well.
"What's happening?!" Ron yelled.
"I don't know!" Kim yelled. "Come on!"
Near Middleton High, 3 Zeros were beginning to approach the school as Jim and Tim were in a class as Mr. Barkin spoke.
But then Tim noticed something outside the window and nudges Jim as they soon saw the planes approach the school. And the formation they were flying in as the Tweebs then grew nervous.
Jim then raised his hand stammered in a panicked tone.
"No interruptions, Mr. Possible." Mr. Barkin said.
"Uh, Mr. Barkin?" Tim said raising his hand.
"What is it, Tim?" Mr. Barkin said.
"Curious question, what was that plane in that Pearl Harbor attack?" Tim asked nervously glancing at the window.
"Japanese A6M-Zeros, why?" Mr. Barkin said arching a brow.
"I advise we should duck under." Jim said.
Then suddenly gunfire struck through the windows as everyone ducked under their desk as Barkin got behind his as the shooting ceased.
"What the heck?!" A student yelled as they got up.
"Let's go! Let's go!" Another yelled.
They all shouted as they rushed around.
Around Middleton, Many people ran for their lives from the attacking planes.
Back at Middleton High, Jim and Tim managed to get to the roof of the school and had their laser blaster with them.
"This is surely a bad idea." Jim said.
"Agreed." Tim said.
They then watched as one Zero begins to circle round towards the school. And the blaster was ready as it then fires, and they land a direct hit on the left wing as it broke off, and then the Zero soars as the Tweebs ducked as the plane hits the roof and skids and stops right at the rim.
Jim and Tim got up and saw the plane just half over the edge.
"Hick-a-bick-a-boo?" Jim said.
"Hushah!" Tim said as they fist-bumped each other.
Then Jim noticed the device on the side of the plane.
"Hmm?" Jim frowned.
He went over to the plane and grabs it and got out of the way just as the damaged plane tipped over and fell hitting the ground.
"What is that?" Tim wondered.
"I'm not sure." Jim said. "But I think we should hold onto it."
He stuffs it into his backpack and they were quickly rushed off.
Back at Middleton University, police officers fired at the planes.
"Hold your fire!" Kim yelled as she and Ron rushed forward.
The officers lowered their guns allowing them to pass as they rushed into a fitness room.
"Oh, shoot!" Ron exclaimed. "Get down, Kim!"
Kim quickly rushed to a phone on the desk as Ron looked outside a window as 2 Zeros flew by.
Ron then rushed behind a column. "Aah!"
Kim quickly works on the phone as Tara was hiding under the desk fearfully clutching a boxing glove like a teddy bear.
At a hanger of the Aviation Museum, a phone rang in a hanger as a man grabs it.
"Earl!" He answered it.
"This is Possible!"
"Get some planes fueled and loaded right now!" Kim said.
"What's going on out there?" Tara asked. "Huh?"
Earl can hear the muffled explosions.
"Kim what the heck's-"
"-that noise? You guys doin' some sort of target practice or something?"
"I think history's repeating itself!" Kim yelled.
Outside, police officers continued firing at the Zeros.
Among the carnage, Bonnie was hiding by a bench.
"Go, go, go!" A student yelled running.
Then a passing Zero flew by and released a bomb as it hits the ground and then bounces across the pavement like a stone over water.
A student jumps out of the way of it. "HOLY!"
Bonnie saw the incoming bomb and ducked as it hits a lamp post bending it, and it lands front of it Bonnie.
"BONNIE!" Jessica yelled.
"RUN!" Hope yelled.
The nearby students quickly fled for their lives.
"It's gonna blow!" Crystal yelled.
"OH!" Bonnie exclaimed.
She quickly got up and took off as fast as her legs could take her.
Then a massive explosion rips through the air as Bonnie ducks behind a staircase along with other students as the explosion grew.
Kim soon saw the explosion outside and quickly ducks behind the desk as the explosion rips through the wall as Ron ducked behind the column.
Outside, students fled for their lives.
"KIM!" Ron yelled rushing over to the desk. "KIM, ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?!"
"I"M ALL RIGHT!" Kim yelled.
"Come on, let's go!" Ron yelled helping her up. "Come on, let's go!"
"Tara, come on, girl!" Kim yelled.
The 3 quickly rushed off.
At Middleton, the wrath of the Zeros continues as many people took shelter in buildings just to escape the planes.
Many police officers fired at the planes giving cover to those still seeking shelter.
Back at Middleton University, Athena and a few officers approached a down Zero just shot down.
Athena was armed with a staff ready to fight the pilot, but she soon saw there was no pilot in the plane.
Then an explosion was heard as she cringed.
"Let's move it now!" A man yelled.
"Athena!" Kim yelled. "Go! Go!"
"Come on!" Ron yelled.
"We're gettin' outta here!" Kim yelled as they rushed to her Roth SL Coupe car. "Get in the car!"
"Get in! Get in!" Ron yelled.
They quickly climbed in along with Tara, Bonnie, Jessica, Hope, Monique, Josh and Michael.
"Come on, let's go! Go!" Ron yelled. "Get out of the way! Get out of the way!"
They quickly drove off.
"Come on!" Kim yelled.
"Where's this place we're goin'?" Athena asked.
"That aviation museum has a runway about 20 minutes away." Kim said. "Hasn't been hit yet."
They continued driving as they hurried through the road and soon they saw 6 Zeros right behind them.
"We got Zeros on our six!" Athena yelled.
Kim quickly turns left as they watched as 2 Zeros flew over them.
"Duck!" Ron yelled.
A Zero closes in and then fires as they quickly ducked as bullets rained down on the car's truck and hood, and the plane flies off.
They soon lift their heads up seeing the bullet holes on the windshield where their heads would have been.
Meanwhile, the other Zeros were still attacking Middleton as at the high school, many students have hunkered down in some closets, teacher's lounge rooms, and the cafeteria.
"Remember, students!" Mr. Barkin said. "Battle is only in the mind!"
"What does that even mean?" Tim asked.
"Are you questioning me, Possible?!" Mr. Barkin snapped.
"No!" Tim said.
"I need more ammo!" Earl yelled as members rushed around. "I need more ammo, ladies! I need more ammo!"
Kim's car soon arrived as they quickly pulled up.
"Earl!" Kim yelled. "We good to go?!"
"Yeah." Earl said. "Mostly, but..."
"Get down! Get down!" Michael yelled.
"Shoot! Get cover!" Ron yelled as they rushed to the hanger.
"Oh, Jeez!" Kim yelled.
Earl then grabs a shotgun and then fires at a few passing Zeros as everyone rushed inside the hanger for cover.
"Come on, you guys!" Josh yelled.
"Earl, get in here!" Kim yelled.
Earl kept firing as the last Zero passes by.
"Hey, sir!" Ron said. "They come back around, we're gonna more than a shotgun! You got anything else that can help?!"
"Yeah, inside that ammo locker!" Earl said.
"Come on." Kim said.
"Let's go." Earl said. "Move it."
They quickly rushed over to the locker as Michael broke the lock off with a wrench, and they quickly opened the door and grabbed what they could.
"Go! Go!" Hope yelled.
"Get the guns out!" Jessica yelled.
"You said the planes are mostly ready, but... but what?" Kim said as she and Ron went up to Earl.
"Well, she's down, she's broke, she's screwed." Earl said gesturing to 3 P-40s. "I got 4 left. One's good to go, 2 need ammo, 1 needs fuel."
"Fall out and load up in the bunker." Ron said.
They quickly rushed off.
"Let's go! Get down!" Michael yelled.
"Get move!" Earl yelled.
They quickly got to a bunker.
"Planes." Athena said.
3 Zeros were seen in the air.
"Should we fire?" Bonnie asked.
"Stay down. Stay down." Kim said stopping her. "No, doggone it. Hold your fire. Stay still. Nobody fire."
"Oh, gosh, oh, gosh, oh, gosh." Tara cried.
They watched as the Zeros fly closer.
"They don't know we're here." Kim said.
They stayed low as the planes flew down.
"Stay down." Kim said.
"Fire?" Bonnie wondered.
"No, no, no, no, doggone it." Kim said. "They don't know we're here. Stay down, stay still. Don't fire."
They remained silent as they watched the planes.
"Oh, gosh." Tara said softly.
They watched as the planes soon fly off.
"I don't see any ordnance." Earl said watching them leave through binoculars. "I think they're going home."
"No. They'll be back." Kim said. "We still got planes on the ground. All right. You fellas, listen up. We're gonna need all the cover fire we get when me and Ron get in the air."
Earl then noticed a number of Zeros high above and looks through his binoculars.
"We can take take 'em out one by one." Kim said.
"We got high-level bombers!" Earl said. "They're gonna bust this hanger wide open!"
Kim soon saw the planes above them.
"Grab the 50s! Let's move!" Earl yelled.
They all yelled as they rushed off and made a run for the remaining P-40s.
"Move! Move!" Kim yelled.
"Go, go, go!" Josh yelled.
In the air, 2 Zeros begins to close in.
"Take cover! Take cover!" Kim yelled.
3 Zeros start to close in and then fired as some made it to the bunker and others quickly dropped to the ground nearly avoiding getting struck from the raining bullets.
"Ron, come on!" Kim yelled rushing over to him. "Come on!"
Then a bomb drops down into the hanger and soon explodes as they were then knocked off their feet as well as several other people. And the dust soon clears as Kim coughed.
"All right, they're beating us." Earl said. "Get to the airplanes! Let's go. Let's go! Go, go, go!"
They all shouted as they hurried to the remaining planes.
"Ron, run!" Kim yelled as they got up.
"Tara, Athena, let's go!" Ron yelled.
They rushed over to the planes as the Zeros flew overhead, and Kim quickly climbs into a P-40.
"Knock 'em dead." Monique said handing her a headset.
"Quick. Get in." Athena said as Ron climbed into another P-40. "Here, put this on." She hands him a headset.
3 Zeros begins to close in a hanger with a P-39 and then opened fire as it soon catches fire and explodes.
"Monique, get outta here, dagnabbit!" Kim yelled. "All right?! Go, go!"
She soon starts the P-40 up as it's engine starts up and it's propeller spun.
"Ron, start that thing up and get in the air now." Kim said. "I'm not much good without a wingman. I need you!"
"I got you!" Ron said.
Ron's P-40 soon starts up.
"Let's do it!" Ron yelled.
His plane then rolls off as Kim soon got hers' moving as well as Athena guided her. Then an explosion struck the damaged hanger as then a tower tips over and comes crashing down.
"It's real tight, Kim." Ron said. "It's real tight."
A Zero flies through the drifting smoke and is followed by another, and the device on it's side soon picked up the 2 P-40s as they speed across the runway.
"Hey, Kim, I'm not sure if we have enough runway!" Ron said.
"Get your airspeed up before you lift the dirt!" Kim said.
"Don't freeze. Don't freeze." Ron said.
Rufus nervously whimpered.
Soon the 2 P-40s begin to take off.
"I don't think I can make it above it!" Ron said.
They continued climbing into the air as were nearing some buildings as the landing gear is pulled up.
"Come on! Come on!" Kim said pulling back the stick hard gritting her teeth.
They soon flew over the building as a few airfield workers cheered them on.
"We did it!" Kim said. "I'm up!"
They flew through the smoke as the Zeros chased after them.
"We got Zeros behind us, Kim!" Ron yelled.
2 Zeros flew through the smoke.
"How many'd you see back there?!" Kim asked.
The Zeros started firing at them.
"We got 5 on our six!" Ron said.
They flew through the air as the Zeros fired and Earl and the others watched them fly by.
"Take it down to the deck, Ron! Now!" Kim yelled pushing down the control stick.
They flew down near the street as a few people ran as bullets rained down on the road as the 2 P-40s flew by and then a truck was struck and explodes.
"We gotta split 'em up, Ron." Kim said. "You take left, I'll take right!"
They then split up passing by a building as the Zeros parted ways chasing after them.
"Earl, you better get some guns in that doggone tower up there!" Kim yelled.
"OK! OK!" Earl said. "Let's go! Into the truck! Let's go!"
He and some airfield workers quickly rushed to a truck.
In the air, Kim flew as the Zeros were right behind her.
"Ron, I got 3 on my six." Kim said looking back.
The 3 Zeros chased after her as the one closest started firing at her as Kim was barely dodging the bullets as she flew.
Then a National Guard solider on the ground in a Humvee fires a machine gun at a Zero, and it soon catches fire as it crashes into the side of a building.
"Whoo!" Kim cheered.
She flew through the air as the 2 remaining Zeros chased after her.
Back at the airfield, the truck comes to a halt at a tower.
"Stop!" Earl yelled banging on the roof. "Stop! Let's go! Let's go! Move it!"
They quickly climbed out of the truck and hurried to the tower.
Meanwhile, Ron flew through a drifting cloud of smoke.
"I still got 2 behind me, Kim." Ron said.
The 2 Zeros soon followed behind as they chased after him and fired at him as Ron made a hard turn to the left.
Kim meanwhile is caught in a bullet storm from the Zeros shooting behind her.
"YAAH!" Kim yelled.
She flew through the air just barely avoiding getting grazed by the bullets.
"Son of a gun!" Kim exclaimed.
They then near some buildings as Kim flipped her P-40 as she flew through the gap between them.
"Whoa!" Kim yelled.
She flew around as a Zero was behind her.
"Earl, do you hear me?!" Kim yelled. "Dagnabbit, get some guns in that tower!" Kim yelled.
"On the tower." Earl said heading up the stairs. "Yeah. Going 10 stories up. It's a long son of a gun."
Elsewhere over Middleton, Ron was still being chased by the 2 Zeros as they fired at him.
He soon flew lower as people close by ran.
"Kim, they're all over me!" Ron yelled. "I can't get them off me!"
The Zeros continued firing at him as many people ran.
"Ron, I still got 3 on my tail!" Kim said.
The 3 Zeros chased after Kim.
"Keep jinking it!" Kim said. "Don't let them get a handle on you!"
"I can't shake 'em, Kim!" Ron cried.
He continued flying as the 2 Zeros were starting to close in as Rufus whimpered.
"Dagnabbit." Kim muttered and looked back at the 3 Zeros behind her. "Ron, let's play some chicken with these suckers! Meet at the high school!"
"All right, I'm with you." Ron said knowing what she met.
He continues flying as the Zeros continued firing at him.
"Sweet naco!" Ron exclaimed of how close the bullets flew by him.
The Zero continues firing as Kim was starting to come in from the opposite direction as the Zero kept firing at Ron.
"I'm coming right at you, Kim!" Ron yelled.
"Don't break till I tell you." Kim said. "Hold on."
Ron's plane begins to near Middleton High with the 2 Zeros closing in on him.
"Not yet! Not yet!" Kim yelled.
Kim's P-40 begins to close in on the distance of the school at full speed.
"Come on! Come on!" Ron said all ready.
Rufus growled all ready as well.
They begin to close the distance from each other.
"Go left!" Kim yelled. "NOW!"
They all turned left.
The 2 P-40s near the edge of the school and narrowly bypass each other swiftly turning left, and the Zeros soon near each other as some try to avoid each other as 4 end up crashing into each other and exploded.
"Whoo! We got 'em!" Kim cheered.
"HA HA HA!" Ron and Rufus laughed and cheered.
"Set up over there!" Earl said as they gathered at the tower's top.
They quickly got the guns ready.
"Come on, load it!" A man yelled preparing a 50-caliber.
"OK. We're at the top of the tower." Earl said contacting Kim.
Kim flew a beeline back to the airfield with a Zero right behind her.
"Earl, I got one on my tail." Kim said. I'll bring it right by you."
"She's comin' around! She's comin' around!" Earl yelled. "Let's get this sucker!"
They all got ready.
Kim flew towards the tower as she leads the Zero towards it.
"Hold your fire, hold your fire." Earl said. "Here she comes."
Kim leads the Zero as an airfield worker below fires at the plane.
"You better be cocked and locked when I come by there!" Kim said.
They aimed their guns at the Zero as Kim flipped her plane ready for the turn.
"Hold your fire!" Earl said.
The 2 planes near the tower as Kim's plane soon flew by them.
"FIRE!" Earl yelled firing his shotgun.
They all fired at the Zero as it took countless hits and took major damage on the engine and the device as well as it snaps off. The Zero soon trails smoke as it descends and crashes into the roof of a hanger.
"WHOO!" Kim cheered. "Good shootin', boys! Nice shot, Earl! Now let's head over to Middleton!" She contacted Ron.
"I'm with ya!" Ron said.
Smoke spews and billows from a burning building as they flew through the smoke cloud.
"Let's go do some business." Kim said.
They soon sighted 4 Zeros.
"I'm going after 'em." Ron said.
They soon chased down the Zeros and started firing at them as soon 1 Zero was hit as it's wing and tail broke off and soon exploded.
"Kim! I got it!" Ron yelled.
On the ground, everyone cheered.
"P-40s!" A man cheered.
"Yeah!" Another cheered.
The remaining 3 Zeros started to fall back.
"They're pulling out into the clouds, Ron." Kim said. "We ain't gonna let these rust buckets get home!"
Kim soon chased after them as she soon spotted a lone Zero and went after it.
"How do you like it when someone shooting back at you?" Kim glared at the plane.
She chases down the Zero as she flipped over and started firing at it.
"Oh, I'm on your tail now." Kim glared.
She then fires at the Zero and soon it's right wing snapped off.
"Yeah! I got one!" Kim cheered.
Elsewhere in the sky, Ron soon locks onto a second Zero.
"Come on!" Ron said glaring at it.
The P-40's engine roared as it rolls and fires at the Zero as it tries to avoid getting hit. And the aerial chase grew as they flew over the clouds.
"Dog, come on!" Ron yelled.
He continues firing at the Zero as it tries to avoid the gunfire as a bullet grazed it's wing as they twirled in the air.
"Come on, stay in there, stay in there!" Ron yelled.
He then fires more as he closes in on the Zero and soon struck it's left wing and soon fell.
"Whoa!" Ron cheered.
Meanwhile, Kim locks onto a third Zero and closes in.
"I got you, son of a gun!" Kim said firing.
The gunfire soon struck the Zero's tail as it breaks apart and the plane soon fell as it's right wing broke off.
At Wong's base, a woman solider approaches Wong.
"12 Zeros are down." She reported. "Should we continue? Fighter jets could be on their way."
"No need to continue." Wong said. "Bring the remaining planes back now."
"Yes, sir." She said.
At the airfield, everyone was finally relaxing with the attack finally over.
And soon, Ron's P-40 rolled to a stop near them as Kim's touches down for a landing. And Earl went up to Ron as he climbed out of the plane.
"Who taught how to fly, son?" Earl asked.
Rom smiled and turns to Kim climbing out of her plane. "She did." He said.
Kim stood on the wing of the plane as Earl nodded.
Among one of the many ranches in Montana, Kim's cousin Joss had just finish tending some horses and was heading back inside.
But then the sound of a flying plane was heard as she looked around and saw a plane silhouette in the air. Just flying overhead by several thousand feet.
"Hmm." Joss frowned.
Joss brought out some binoculars and looks through them and saw that the plane was a B-29. Which confused her as she lives many miles from any airfield that has World War II planes for show.
"That ain't right." Joss said.
She then works the binoculars as they were actually a gift she caught from Kim last Christmas, and she got a good look at the plane and saw some kind of logo on the B-29's tail rudder. She then pushed a button as a photo of the plane was taken, as well as the entire plane itself.
Soon the photos printed out as she grabs them.
"Better get these to Wade." Joss said.
She then rushed inside her house.

Won't be too much longer before Kim and Ron will know about their new enemy. As well as the return to 2 certain former enemies.
