"I'M TELLING you, we have to go."

"Are you forgetting who gives the orders around here?"

"Sir, please, something big is going to happen. Soon."

"Something like what?"

Georgina opens and closes her mouth a few times. Ben stares back at her coldly, arms crossed over his chest and one eyebrow arched ever so slightly, daring her to continue. She can't tell him that the something big has to do with Sam, or he'll never agree. Then she remembers what Sam told her back in Cornwall.

"Something like the demon."

That gets his attention, and he drops his hands to his sides.

"What are you talking about? What about the demon?"

"It's... It's planning something. Gathering a group of special kids to help him do it. We need to get going, see if we can stop it before it hurts anyone else."

She begins to move around the room, gathering up their things.

"Wait, wait, wait," he holds up a hand.

She stops what she's doing, staring up at him.

"How exactly do you know this? And what is the demon planning to do with these 'special kids'?"

"I..."

They've reached an impasse of sorts. Georgina knows that if she admits that she knows because she's psychic, he'll throw a fit. And she can't tell him what the demon is planning to do, because she didn't see that.

All she saw was Sam dying in Dean's arms.

"Georgina Mae, what are you not telling me?"

That makes her flinch. Dean's the only one who ever calls her that. Lately, Ben has only referred to her as 'Georgina' or 'girl'.

"Can you just... trust me about this? Please?"

It's a long shot. Ben hasn't trusted her about anything in months.

"We're not going anywhere until you tell me what is going on."

Georgina hangs her head in defeat.

"I have psychic dreams of the future."

"Come again?"

Taking a deep breath, she looks him dead in the eye and repeats herself.

"I have psychic dreams of the future. The special kids I mentioned are all psychics, too. I don't know what the demon is planning exactly, but I know it's planning something that involves them, and I do know that Sam is one of those psychic kids."

Ben doesn't move. He doesn't react, he doesn't blink, Georgina isn't even sure he's still breathing. But then he opens his mouth.

"You're telling me that my kid is a freak?"

He might as well have hit her again.

"No. I'm not-"

"My kid, my only daughter, is a psychic freak?!"

It's like they're back on Bobby's porch with him chewing her out.

"How long?"

Georgina doesn't respond right away, cowering back and biting her tongue to keep from whimpering.

"How long?!"

"Nearly two years."

She was expecting a blow; she wasn't expecting it to come in the form of a kick to her ribs. She has just enough sense to block her face before there's a flurry of fists beating on her once more. When he's finished, he yanks her wrists above her head and handcuffs her to the headboard like he does at night.

"Where?"

"What?"

"Do you know where?"

"W-what I saw happens in Cold Oak, South Dakota."

He leaves her there.

⩫GMS⩫

There's six of them. Sam, Andy Gallagher, Ava Wilson, Jake Talley, a blonde girl named Lily, and the youngest is Imogine Stevens. Sam's a bit surprised Imogine is part of the group. She's nineteen, a full four years younger than the rest of them, but then he remembers Georgie's ability like his and Ava's and suddenly it might not be so preposterous for her to be there.

"Who brought us here?" Andy asks.

They all look to Sam, who's already become the leader of the group in the short period it took for them to gather.

"It's less of a 'who'. It's... more of a 'what'."

"What does that mean?" Ava demands.

There's a pause.

"It's a... it's a demon."

Lily lets out a huff of disgust. So, then he has to tell them all about the yellow-eyed demon who is using them all in his demon war to bring on the Apocalypse. Imogine is the only one who isn't freaking out about the information. It doesn't surprise him; Ben Stevens started training all his kids before they could even read. Sam's almost finished, when there's a shout from somewhere else in the ghost town they all got dumped in.

"Hello? Anyone there?"

They all take off in the direction of the shout. The voice sounds vaguely familiar to Imogine, really familiar to Sam.

"Georgie?"

She's a beat up, bloody mess. There are bruises and cuts all the way up and down her arms, her lip is busted and she has the beginning of a black eye. Sam gives her his flannel because all she has on are black leggings, a white tank top and her heeled boots.

"What happened to you?"

"Ben."

"Dad did that to you?"

Georgie's head snaps from Sam to the person who spoke. The young woman looks a lot like her, dark brown hair that matches Georgie's roots, blue eyes with flecks of gold and green around the pupil, and she's several inches shorter than her, too.

"I-Imogine?"

"Hi, Georgie."

Georgie pulls her little sister into a hug, ignoring the pain in her ribs as she squeezes her tightly.

"Wait, what are you doing here? I thought the demon was only gathering psychic children."

"Well, I, um, kinda am psychic," Imogine admits. "I have telekinesis."

Like Max did.

"Yeah, you and Imogine are the outliers," Sam says. "I mean, sure you both have abilities like the rest of us, but you're both younger than the rest of us, too."

"Everyone else is twenty-three?"

They all nod their heads.

"Georgie, did dad really-"

"We can talk about it later, okay?"

"Yeah, I was just explaining the deal with the demon to them when you arrived," Sam explains.

"Okay, what have you told them?" Georgie queries.

"He says we're soldiers in a demon war to bring on the apocalypse," Jake speaks up. "And that we've been picked."

"Right," Georgie nods.

"Why us?" Andy asks.

"I'm not sure, okay?" Sam says. "But look, I just know-"

"Sam, I'm sorry," Ava shakes her head. "Psychics and spoon-bending is one thing, but demons?"

"Look, I know it sounds crazy, but-"

"It doesn't just sound it," Jake scoffs.

"I don't really care what you think, okay?" Sam snaps. "If we're all gathered here together, then that means it's starting and that we've gotta-"

"The only thing I gotta do is stay away from wackjobs, okay? I've heard enough. I'm better off on my own. FYI, so are you."

"Jake, hold on. Jake!"

Jake ignores Sam, walking off until he's alone in the town. He looks over and sees a young blonde girl inside one of the buildings- younger than Imogine. She stares at him through the door, then vanishes. He follows her, entering an abandoned schoolroom.

"Hello?"

He hears her giggle, but can't see her anywhere.

"It's alright. Don't be scared. Are you lost?"

There's no response.

"Hello?"

Jake hears screeching from the chalkboard and turns to look at it. The words 'I will not kill' are written over and over again on the board. The girl appears in the room, laughing, and then her nails grow into claws and her face contorts.

"Get back!" he shouts.

Suddenly, Sam enters the building and hits the girl with an iron poker he found. She dissolves into a cloud of black smoke, which exits the schoolroom. The other five members of the group join them.

"Just so you know," Sam begins, breathing heavily. "That was a demon. Now, that thing- I'm not sure, but I think it was an Acheri. A demon that disguises itself as a little girl. That still doesn't tell us where we are. Andy, are you with me or what?"

"Give me a minute," he holds up a hand. "I'm still working through 'demons are real.'"

"You don't know where we are?" Georgie asks.

"No. Why?"

"It's Cold Oak, South Dakota."

"What? How do you... You had a dream about this, didn't you?"

"I... might have seen a few flashes..."

"Okay, so what did you see?"

She hesitates.

"Okay, look," Lily pipes up. "It doesn't matter where the hell we are. Clearly, the only sane thing to do here is get the hell out of Dodge."

"Wait, hold on," Sam protests. "Lily, the only way out is through miles of woods."

"Beats hanging out with demons."

"Lily, look, we don't know what's going on yet. I mean, we don't even know how many of them are out there right now."

"Yeah, he's right," Jake nods. "We should-"

"Don't say 'we'! I'm not a part of 'we'. I have nothing in common with any of you."

"Okay, look, I know-" Georgie begins.

"You don't know anything!" Lily yells. "I accidentally touched my girlfriend."

That shocks them all into silence.

"I'm sorry," Georgie finally apologizes.

"Whatever. I feel like I'm in a nightmare, and it just keeps getting worse and worse."

"I've lost people, too," Sam tells her. "I have a brother out there right now that could be dead, for all I know. We're all in bad shape. But I'm telling you, the best way out of this is to stick together."

"Fine."

They all head out of the building, exploring other parts of the town.

"We're looking for iron, silver, salt- any kind of weapon," Georgie explains.

"Salt is a weapon?" Jake quirks an eyebrow.

"It's a brave new world," Sam smirks.

"Well, hopefully there's food in your world, because I'm fricking starving," Andy grumbles.

They all enter another building, but Imogine and Lily hang back. Imogine tries to stop Lily from wandering off, and Lily touches her then takes off running.
