They left the restaurant while the perfect idea formed in Felix's head to (hopefully) end the evening as breathtakingly as possible. But first he had to ask her and she had to agree, otherwise it would never work. He turned to Pepa, who until now had stood a little awkwardly in front of the restaurant. "Who says that the evening is already over. Maybe you want to go for a walk?"

He stretched out his hand to her and waited for her to grab his hand. It wasn't long before a smile formed on her face and she put her hand in his. Hand in hand, they strolled through the city to the only river Encantos, which they then followed upstream.

Meanwhile, the two were talking all the time about everything that came to their minds. Unconsciously, Felíx accelerated his steps to make it in time for his big surprise. Suddenly, Pepa let go of his hand and stopped. Astonished, he turned around and looked at her to find out what was going on.

"We can't go any further. That is forbidden." The river now led into the nearby jungle that surrounded the whole city and made it impossible to escape. It was dangerous, unpredictable like a labyrinth, so it was far too easy to get lost and, above all, all the inhabitants of the city were forbidden to enter it. Especially she as one of the madrigal triplets should be a role model and not break the rules.

"Do you trust me?" He shook her hand again, but she hesitated. She trusted him, of course she did, but she really didn't want to break the rules. After a short consideration, she took his hand and let him lead her into the jungle.

The whole time she felt uncomfortable. She knew she shouldn't do that. Not only because of the danger that awaited her here, but also because of her mother. If she ever found out, she would get very angry. Felíx seemed to notice her insecurity because she felt his gentle handshake. "I promise you we won't go deep into the jungle."

There were only a few words and yet they seemed to calm her down and immediately made her feel better. She continued to follow him until he suddenly stopped. She looked around confused. They stood in the middle of the jungle next to a river and far and wide there was nothing worth seeing. Why had he brought them here?

He pushed the leaves of the tree to the side and gave her the full view of what lay in front of them. Her eyes widened with amazement. She couldn't believe how absolutely stunning and beautiful the sight in front of her was. Although she had seen a lot of sunsets from the casita before, this was by far the most beautiful she had ever seen.

From a mild yellow to a strong orange to a unique purple, every slightest gradation of colors could be seen. The combination of the individual colors gave a truly magical sight and bathed the entire environment in a pleasant shade of red.

She was hypnotized by the sight in front of her and unconsciously moved forward to see better. She no longer paid attention to her surroundings until she felt a hand grab her wrist and pull her back.

"Be careful." Immediately she took a few steps back. Just in time, because now the first small stones at the edge of the abyss came loose and fell down into the springs with a rippling sound. She threw him a grateful smile, which he replied with a friendly one.

"It's really beautiful here." They let themselves sink to the ground to watch the sunset together. "Yes, this is my favorite place. Whenever something depressed me, I come here." He glanced at her and couldn't suppress a smile.

The light made her shine, the colors of the sunset perfectly matched the color of her hair and the sunset bathed her whole being in a soft orange. As they continued to watch the sunset, no words had to be spoken. They simply enjoyed each other's company in pleasant silence.

The longer they sat in this pleasant silence, the more nervous Felíx became. He still hadn't asked the question or confessed his love to her and didn't know exactly how or when to do it at all. Normally, he wasn't shy, but she turned his whole mind upside down. But her spirited nature also made it really difficult.

"Pepa. I... I have to... tell you something." She turned away from the sunset and turned her gaze to him, curious to know what he wanted to tell her. He took a deep breath, hoping to calm himself down. The whole thing slowly got on his nerves, which is why he decided to just say it briefly and quickly. "I love you, Pepa."

The silence that followed the confession felt like half an eternity, so he decided to break it again. "Never in my life have I loved someone as much as I love you. You fascinate me every day anew and when you smile the sun gets jealous because you shine much brighter... my sunshine. Do you want to go out with me?"

His words hit her right in the heart and took her breath away. She tried to answer him, had to answer him, but after his confession, she was simply speechless and did not utter a word. But when she looked him in the eye, she knew he was telling the truth.

She grabbed his hand and slowly a huge smile began to form as she felt tears roll down her cheeks. Normally it would rain now, but this time it was tears of joy, so instead a beautiful rainbow appeared over her.

This feeling that flooded her could only be described as love and it made her indescribably happy. He loved her. If she thought that she had felt a connection to him at the first meeting, then that could only be love at first sight.

Her feelings were so obvious because of the rainbow that she hoped he knew exactly what she was feeling without having to say anything. Just to be sure, she decided to show her feelings, because what was the saying "Actions say more than a thousand words."

She was nervous and most importantly not sure if she should really do that, but she wanted to and she believed he wanted it too. Slowly she leaned forward and gently pressed her lips on his. At first he didn't react and she was worried if she really should have done that. But even before she could retreat, she felt a hand on her cheek that pulled her even closer.

After what felt like hours, she withdrew. But instead of moving away, she leaned her forehead against his and closed her eyes. He did the same and stroked her cheek with his hand. "I love you too and want to be with you." When he heard these words, he felt his heart explode with joy.

She moved away from him so far that he could look her in the eye. She wanted him to know that she was telling the truth and that she was serious about it. In response, he gave her a short but passionate kiss on the lips. When they separated, a playful smile began to form on her lips.

"Remember that I promised to tell you about my wish when it comes true." Pepa raised an eyebrow when a confident smile appeared on his features. "Maybe it had something to do with a handsome boy who has been the happiest boy in the whole world since tonight because he's finally with the girl he loves with all his heart." In response to his reply, she could not suppress the laughter.

"Well, I think you're pretty close to the truth. It's just that the girl here is the lucky one and is finally with the boy she loves." She put her arms around his neck and pressed him to give him a kiss, which he happily replied.

"I think both are happy," he whispered and gave her a satisfied look as soon as the two separated again. Felíx turned his gaze to the sun, which had now almost completely disappeared. "Although I don't want to, I think we should go." Pepa also turned to the sunset.

"I know, but let's wait a little longer. I don't want it to be over yet." She leaned against his shoulder and both enjoyed the last rays of sunshine in pleasant silence. She could not suppress her smile. She was finally with the boy she loved.

She had to thank her sister later. Maybe she could even help her with Augustín as a thank you. After all, Julieta's feelings were as abvious as Augustín's. She wanted her sister to feel the same feeling. The feeling that made her the happiest girl in all of Encanto. The feeling that seemed infinite to her and that she shared with the one person she loved above all else. She wanted her sister to experience the same thing. The true feeling of love.
