Eric and Tara stopped outside of the door Chayton was in. Suddenly, Sookie was beside them as well!

"Sookie, go back downstairs." Eric told her.

"I have just as much to do with this as the two of you do. It's me he wants now. And I'm the one he's framed." Sookie reminded him.

"Sook," Tara said, "Alcide would not want you facing him alone."

"I won't be alone. The two of you will be in there as well." Sookie reminded her. Tara looked from Sookie over at Eric.

"This isn't a good idea. But I can't think of what else we can do. We have to find out how to make Candyman go away." Tara said quietly.

"What he wants," Eric said, "is information about his son. And he apparently thinks that you can find out, Tara."

Tara eyed him but Sookie gave Eric a dirty look!

"And just how long have you known all of this, Eric?" Sookie asked in a scolding tone. But Tara was oddly calm, something Eric noticed.

"You knew?" he asked her.

"No. But I started reading Celia's journal. Her life doesn't seem to be going the way she would have liked. Somehow a lost child fits." Tara mused. Sookie looked at her friend in a questioning manner. She then looked over at Eric and saw his facial expression was one of surprise!

"Celia kept a diary?" he asked.

"Yes."

"And you found this how?"

"Eric, we need to get in there and help Chayton." Tara said and tried to move around him to go into the room. But Eric blocked her from going in and issued a mind command…

"I am going in alone. I forbid you to come in unless called. I will lock the door. Keep Sookie from coming is as well."

Tara could do nothing but blink as Eric went into the room and closed the door quickly behind him! Tara and Sookie both heard the lock click into place! Sookie looked from the door to Tara, who looked stunned!

"What just happened here? Tara, open the door!"

Tara looked from the door to Sookie!

"I can't! Eric told me not to!"

"No he didn't! He didn't say anything!"

"That's the thing now: I have to follow his commands now that Pam is gone. And I can hear his thoughts so that's how he tells me what to do." Tara admitted.

"You can hear vampire minds?" Sookie asked, shocked. "So you can hear Eric and Bill?"

"Yes." Tara admitted.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was going to ,until you told me about what you and Candyman were up to in that car." Tara said in a knowing tone. Meanwhile, in the room, Eric took in the unconscious body of Chayton Littlestone, before facing Daniel Robitaille, once again.

"Daniel, your vessel looks strong. And yet I am sure your possession of him is draining him." Eric said.

"Eric Northman. All alone. Where is that lying whore that was glued to your side, panting over my Caroline?" Daniel asked in a quiet, yet jeering tone.

Eric forced his face to remain impassive.

"I think you know. And I think she is why I am here." was his response. "So if you plan to kill me, stop blathering and do it."

"Oh, I have no plans to kill you or anyone else, as long as my will is submitted to." Daniel said, moving towards him.

"Your will?" Eric asked with a calm he did not feel. The nerve of this murdering fiend to issue order to him!

"Yes. I had discovered Celia's journal when the old man found me in his office…in his safe. I could find nothing about my son in it."

"Bill Compton told me what you wanted from Tara. She cannot help you. Chances are your son was lost to you long ago. Much like Caroline was." Eric said, his eyes hard.

"Tara is the only one that will know that for sure." Daniel said, smiling. He then waved his hand and the door to the room unlocked. Tara and Sookie heard the click and walked in. Sookie stopped short when she saw Daniel but Tara moved to Eric's side. Eric nodded to Sookie, who closed the door behind her.

"What do you want with Chayton?" Tara asked, keeping a wary eye on his now unconscious form. She then became aware that she and Candyman, were suddenly the only ones in the room! Somehow, he had made Chayton, Eric and Sookie, disappear!

"It is just the two of us now, Tara Thornton." Candyman began. "Your grandfather was transported back to a time that was quite unpleasant, via Celia's journal. You are transported back through time because of me."

Tara folded her arms.

"Tell me about Celia and this Dermot guy? Who was he?"

Tara watched Candyman's face dissolve into mass confusion.

"Dermot?" Candyman asked.

"Yes. He was mentioned in her journal."

"I only read the parts that were mentioned after I was taken from this Earth. I know nothing of what her life was like before our marriage."

"Nice!" Tara snapped. "You don't think you owed your own damned wife, jack shit, do you?"

"You cannot help who you love, a concept I would think you would be quite familiar with, Tara Thornton."

"We're not talking about me 'Daniel'! We're talking about the fact that you agreed to marry a woman and then made her life miserable! But you don't see it that way, do you? It never occurred to you that if you had kept your ass at home, what happened to you, might not have happened!"

"Kept. My. Ass. At. Home? What are you saying?!" Candyman snapped. "That I am somehow to blame for my own murder?"

"Your goddamned murder and your marriage! What in the hell was so wrong with Celia that you couldn't just keep your married ass at home?!" Tara huffed.

Candyman gave her a look Tara could not quite read and she had the oddest feeling for a moment, that no one had ever dared to question him on his own behavior back in the day.

"Celia was a cold wife."

"So if she hadn't been 'cold', you would have stayed away from Caroline Sullivan?" Tara countered.

"Caroline was…was beautiful and understanding and…"

"And Celia wasn't?"

"I did not fall in love with Caroline BEFORE being married. Celia came to me wanting another. Probably this 'Dermot' that you have mentioned. SHE was the one that would not give our marriage a chance."

Tara said nothing to that. Candyman tilted his head.

"Nothing to say to that assertion, Miss Thornton?"

"Uh, Celia's dead and can't tell her side of the story! Your ass is supposed to be dead as well, but here we are! Look, I just want you to leave Chayton alone."

"Because you care for him?" Candyman asked.

"I know about Celia and Tocho Littlestone. You showed me what was going on between them. You didn't hold that relationship against Celia, why?"

"Tocho was a good man."

"He was part wolf! You knew he was part animal but it didn't look to me as if Celia knew that! He changed right when they were having sex against a tree! He could've killed her!" Tara griped.

"My," Candyman said sarcastically, "you have a lot of grievances to air. Grievances that are not your own. Trust me when I tell you that if you had known Celia, she would have betrayed you in some way as well."

Tara moved closer to him. She felt unafraid and suddenly, she could feel power coursing through her. Candyman did not move back as she approached, though he sensed something different about her. Something that he had only been confronted with one other time that he could remember.

When Celia confronted him about Caroline.

"You know what I think? I think Celia left her home and all she knew, to marry a man she hoped would make her happy. A man that would help her forget this Dermot guy! Dermot was a fairy as well! He was helping her understand what Celia probably didn't understand herself. She gets to New Orleans, marries you and…what? How long until you began fucking Caroline Sullivan? Huh? Did you even give it a week?" Tara asked in a huffy, loud tone.

Candyman's eyes roamed over her. He was not angered by her demeanor or her questions, oddly, though he himself could not think as to why.

"Did you know," Tara continued on, "that Celia was looking to get revenge on the man that had stolen her family's fortune? And that that man was your mistress's father! Did you know that, 'Candyman'?"

Candyman now lifted a brow.

"You're referring to that plantation? The one that was built in blood! Neither Heyward nor Celia's family, had any right to such a hellacious bounty! The plantation should have been burned to the ground the moment Celia's grandfather's master died!" Candyman sneered.

Tara's response was to give him the middle finger! A sparkly substance came out of it and it hurled Candyman backwards through a wall! His body dissolved into dust as he filtered through the structure. Tara stared at the wall, entranced and it was only after a couple of minutes, did she hear the banging on the door!

And she heard Eric calling to her in her thoughts…

"Tara? Tara, what was that noise? I cannot open the door! Daniel is blocking my strength! Answer me!"

From the other side of the door, and with Sookie, Bill and Sam behind him, they all stared in stunned silence, as Eric was suddenly able to turn the knob and open the door! What they saw when they entered, was Tara on the floor with Chayton. She was cradling his head in her lap as he began to come around.

"Where is he?" Sookie asked, looking around the room wildly.

"Gone. He dissolved." Tara said, watching closely as Chayton came around. Eric walked over to them and crouched down as well.

"What do you mean he 'dissolved'?" Eric asked. Tara looked at him.

"The same thing happened to me that happened with the wolves." Tara whispered. "I kind of aimed my anger at him and he dissolved. He left Chayton and is gone, for now."

Bill moved towards them, having heard that bit about the wolves, anger and apparently—power. He eyed Chayton before ignoring Eric and addressing Tara.

"You made him leave? Is that what you're saying?" Bill asked her. Eric stood up to full height and faced Bill.

"A word? Downstairs in your study?" Eric asked. Bill nodded and both men left the room. Sam slowly walked over to Tara and crouched down as well.

"We need to talk, Tara. Alone." Sam told her. Tara watched Chayton's, who's eyes were wide open and he was staring at Sam.

"You are a changeling." Chayton said with authority. Tara looked from Chayton to Sam.

"I can't leave him now." she whispered.

"Tara is going to be my wife. You can say your goodbyes in front of me." Chayton said in the same, authoritative tone. Tara let go of him.

"I'll be back. Just rest." Tara sighed and stood up. That was when she noticed Sookie in the room.

"Sook, maybe you should get home to Alcide. There's nothing you can do here." Tara said.

But Sookie stared at Chayton for a brief moment, before looking at Tara and Sam.

"I'll watch him. He still looks weak. That and he's part of Bill and Jessica...where is Jessica, anyway? Chayton is her progeny." Sookie noted.

"Why don't you look for her? I don't think it's safe for you to stay in here alone with him. He could become Candyman at any moment." Sam told her.

"You could too, Changeling!" Chayton hissed from the ground. "And you will keep your conversations with Tara to a minimum!"

Tara turned to look down at him.

"I'm just going to talk to Sam for a quick minute and then we'll talk about what we were talking about before." she told him before leaving the room with Sam. They walked to the stair landing and did not notice the door to the room they left, had quietly closed.

"Why did you go along with that lie Hood told? About the two of you being together?" Sam asked.

"Hood told you it was a lie?" Tara asked.

"I knew it was when you both said it and I confronted him later about it."

"Is this really important now?" Tara countered.

"You're important." Sam said quietly.

"And you realized that after you lost your wife and child? Your wife's name was Nicole, right?" Tara asked in a gentle tone.

"I know we can't take up where we left off, Tara. But where we left off isn't where I want to be now."

"Meaning?" Tara asked, not quite following him.

"Meaning I don't want to go back to the 'friends with benefits' thing we had going. Yes, I lost the family I made and it made me realize how short time is. We never had any time for us, Tara." Sam said just as gently.

Tara didn't know how to feel about what Sam had just said. So much was going on right now and…

Hadn't they left the door to Chayton's room open?

"Sookie!" Tara whispered.

"Tara needs to learn how to control her power." Eric said quietly.

"I agree but neither one of us are fae. Sookie is." Bill said.

"And yet Sookie can't do much of what I have seen Tara do." Eric replied.

"You were speaking with Daniel in private. What did he have to say to you?' Bill asked.

"I think you know. He wants to know where his son is. For all we know he was never turned…" Eric began but Bill shook his head slightly.

"He is very sure that he was. And you remember Lorena. She was perfectly capable of turning a child or some other innocent and thinking nothing of it." Bill mused. Bill then noticed that Eric was staring at him. Hard.

"What is it?"

"I could care less about Candyman's lost son, Bill. It is Tara I am concerned with. Tara, Celia's journal and the past. In order to help Tara, one of us will have to become LIKE her." Eric said.

Bill eyed Eric.

"What are you talking about? Neither of us are part fae?"

"But we could for a brief time if one of us had some of Sookie's blood." Eric said, his tone sounding somewhat regretful. Bill's fangs emerged!

"Are you out of your mind?! I almost accidentally drained Sookie and she ended up in the hospital! We cannot use Sookie!"

"Unless you know of another fairy, it has to be her! And I'm not talking about her cutting her wrists and letting us sip! We need a considerable amount and it can only one of us, as to not kill her! One of us ingests blood from Sookie, learns the power of being a fae and a vampire and…"

"Tara will learn on her own." Bill said in a no nonsense manner. "I don't see what the hurry is."

"You don't see what the hurry is?! You know what I think the hurry is? I think Daniel Robitaille is getting stronger with each visit! I think that eventually, he will cease to be a spirit and return full bodied or he will possess Chayton Littlestone completely and you will suddenly be the grand maker of a murderous fiend with a hook for a hand! Tara used her power today to rid us of Candyman—for now. But it is entirely possible that she possesses the ability to rid us of him permanently!" Eric snapped.

Jessica suddenly entered the room.

"Sorry to interrupt." she said. "But we have guests."

"Where have you been?" Bill asked her. "Your progeny was in distress."

Jessica shrugged.

"I didn't feel anything. Anyway, Jason is outside with a man that calls himself 'Sheriff Hood'. He's also very cute." Jessica grinned. But Bill looked from Jessica to Eric and knew they were thinking the same thing: if Jessica had not known Chayton was unconscious upstairs just now, that was because Candyman's possession of her progeny was blocking her ability to be able to sense something as basic as that.

Yes, something had to be done. And soon.

Bill and Eric looked behind Jessica as Jason, who was in uniform, and Lucas Hood, walked in. Jason smiled at Jessica, as did Hood, before addressing Bill.

"Bill. Eric. You all have met Sheriff Hood?" Jason asked. Bill nodded slightly.

"Yes. In Banshee. How are you, Sheriff?" Bill asked.

"I think you know." Hood replied. "One of my deputy's was murdered by a 'family member' of yours. I want to know how you plan to deal with it."

"Sheriff, Chayton is suffering from a demonic possession. He is being possessed by the spirit of Daniel Robitaille, who is otherwise known as 'Candyman'. I think HE is the one that killed your officer."

"Bullshit!" Hood snapped. "It was Chayton and Chayton alone! Now if you won't do something about it then allow me to stake him! You can't be that attached to the bastard!"

Eric suddenly spoke.

"He is upstairs. I will kill him right now in front of witnesses. He has harbored feelings for my grand progeny that I am unwilling to tolerate." he said just as loud noises from the second floor, distracted everyone!

"What the hell is going on up there?!" Jessica yelled out but moved to stand next to Jason. Hood watched as Eric and Bill hurried up the stairs. He looked at Jason and Jessica.

"Is Tara up there as well?" Hood asked. He did not wait for an answer and hurried up the stairs behind Eric and Bill, who ran into a room and slammed the door behind them! Hood ran to it and turned the knob but could not open it! He began banging on the door!

"Chayton! I know you're in there! Come out here and face me!" Hood seethed, just as Jason and Jessica joined him outside of the room.

"What the hell is going on in there?! It sounds weird in there!" Jason asked and Jessica used her vamp hearing…

"It sounds like some kind of weather, wind or something." Jessica noted and moved past Hood and Jason to turn the knob. She could not get in either and she began banging on the door!

"BILL? CHAYTON? WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" she screamed.

Inside the room, Sam stood against the wall, his eyes wide with shock! Eric stood on one side of a disbelieving Tara, while Bill stood on her other side, just as disbelieving.

What they were watching, was the unfathomable sight of a naked Chayton Littlestone being ridden in an almost furious blur by an equally naked Sookie! Tornado winds surrounded them and Sookie hands were ensnared within her own hair, while Chayton's hands, which resembled Candyman's own, were locked on her hips. Sookie moved up and down like a kangaroo on speed and she cried out in erotic anguish, while Candyman's laugh erupted from between Chayton's lips!

Tara felt pure rage well up within her! The nerve of this monster to take possession of Chayton AND Sookie! Daniel Robitaille was daring her to stop him from taking and doing what he wanted! Eric looked from the erotic sight of Sookie's fucking half Candyman and half Chayton, and over at Tara. He could feel some sort of powerful change happening within her and he knew it would be beyond her control! He instinctively reached out to grab her, just as they both dissolved into pink, sprinkle like, fairy dust and light, and landed on top of Sookie and Candyman…

What happened next was beyond jarring.

Tara found herself standing on a moving train terrace, wearing a blue, corset bodice dress. A bonnet was on her head and it felt as if it were going to fly off! She held on to one of the train terrace railings, while adjusting the hat.

It was then that she noticed Eric beside her, dressed in some sort of suit that looked like it was from another time. His rigid arm encircled her waist as the locomotive seemed to pick up speed. The rapid rate of travel caused Tara'a breasts to bob convulsively within the confines of the dress.

"Where are we?!" Tara shouted above the wind.

"Where Daniel wants us to be!" Eric shouted back. But he knew where the train was heading. To New Orleans. To the time when Daniel and Celia lived as man and wife.

To the time when Eric and Pam lived there and pretended to be friends to Daniel Robitaille and Caroline Sullivan.

To when Eric began his affair with Celia.

Only Tara would be taking Celia's place. He could feel it.

Eric's hold around Tara's middle tightened as he turned to look behind him. Pam was inside the train. She was pressed against the door to the outer terrace, smiling at him suggestively, just as the train picked up a dangerous rate of speed and the force of it dislodged one of Tara's bare breasts from her dress! Tara hung on to the rail with one hand, for dear life, while Eric's arm around her middle, moved upwards to cup her jogging, carefree breast, as he stared at Pam, wanting both her and Tara in that moment…

Suddenly, Eric awoke, on the floor in that bedroom in Bill's house! Jessica and Jason were knelt over him. Bill was tending to Sookie, who kept telling him she was alright, despite her heinous experience as Sam tried to bring Tara around!

"Something's the matter!" Sam yelled. "Tara's not coming around!"

Hood knelt beside Tara as well, before glancing over at the pile of ashes next to her. The only way Bill Compton had been able to pull Eric, Tara and Sookie out of that erotic nightmare, had been to stake Chayton Littlestone. And when Tara came back to herself, she would be very unhappy to learn of Chayton's fate. Chayton, her almost fiancee.

Candyman would not be too happy either.
