Once Evac, Jetfire, and Lancex were ready, they headed out to the citadel where the celebration fair was going to be. It would take a bit of time to get there, as none had any mode of transport other than walking and Evac and Jetfire were unable to transform in this dimension, but they loved Lancex to the point that fact didn't bother either of the bot humans.
Upon reaching the citadel, they headed into the celebration fair and saw many things that they had never seen before, well, at least the bot humans had never seen before. The animals appeared to be mutatated versions of earth creatures, at least some of them appeared to be. Others were just beyond much description as only a picture would describe them best. Lancex took the lead as this was his world and he knew it much better than Evac and Jetfire did.
They soon find an area where chocobos were kept. Evac and Jetfire were stunned to seeing these bird like creatures being ridden by humans. In fact, if Evac and Jetfire were to describe these animals, they would call these gigantic and oversized earth chickens with attitude. Lancex, seeming to understand that Evac and Jetfire were caught a bit off guard by this, soon showed the pair how to pet a chocobo that had white feathers. It was surprisingly soft to the touch and much more patient than any earth chicken would be. Lancex smiled as he watched the pair.
After visiting the chocobos, they headed to other parts of the celebration fair, playing midway games, enjoying silly rides, and enjoying food that Jetfire and Evac had never had before, as their systems had never been able to have anything but energon before. But they also seemed to know that in this form, they would never be able to stomach energon, so they would have to be careful if and when they went back and forth between the universes.
Upon getting food, the three sat down and began to talk and get to know each other better. Lancex told of his history while Evac and Jetfire told of theirs. All were much older than they realized, but to them, age didn't matter. Lancex was happy to learn so many things about the two while they were happy to learn about him and each other, as of the pair, one grew up on Cybertron while the other grew up hiding on earth and helping humans for a long time. Lancex was soon growing a bit tired, as his energy just didn't last as long here, but he was determined to get one thing before he left – a few new cookbooks and a book about baking. Jetfire and Evac helped Lancex find those items and then all headed for home. It had been a very long day.
