Now it had been three years, and it seemed like Lancex, Evac, and Jetfire had grown extremely close. There had been many and various adventures while in the final fantasy universe, and even several adventures in the transformers universe. Lancex loved the times when they went back to the other universe because it gave him a chance to be even closer to Jetfire or Evac by riding inside of them.
But this day saw an anxious and nervous Jetfire along with a slightly nervous Evac looking at a very special gift for their loved one – a special ring that would show Lancex just how much they loved him. Evac and Jetfire looked over the rings. They had brought Hope, Lightning, and Serah along, but the girls were elsewhere, looking at the other rings in the store. The flyer bot humans were enven using some advice Lori had given them on picking things out – mainly picking something out that the wearer would appreciate and love.
The group scanned the various rings, but none stood out at first until Evac spotted a silver looking ring with deeply etched runes in the silver and a deep, royal blue looking stone that shone brightly in the light. Evac and Jetfire, still a bit unsure, showed the ring to the girls, and each agreed it was the perfect ring for Lancex. Evac and Jetfire smiled, relieved that this part was over. Now they just had to find a way to pop the question to Lancex. Evac and the others head back to the bar, all hoping that Lancex is there.
Meanwhile, Snow and Lancex were at the bar and Snow was teasing Lancex a bit about the bot humans. Lancex blushed as Snow did so, but defended the bot humans if Snow went too far. "So when are you finally going to marry them? You've been going together for years now" Snow stated.
"Some people don't rush into things" Lancex replied. Snow just laughed. Lancex had always been more cautious in things, especially in his personal life. Snow was about to retort when Evac and the others returned. The three girls took Snow and the others away while Lancex was left alone with the pair of bot humans. Lancex looked at them, lovingly but very curiously.
"We know you are a cautious young man, Lancex" Evac started. Jetfire nodded. "But we hoped that you would unite with us and we can become our own family?"
Lancex listened and then realized what this was – a wedding proposal. Lancex looked at the bot humans and could see that they were both serious. And then he saw the ring – and he started to tear up a bit. It reminded him of the ring his mother had given his father. "too much?" Jetfire asked, worriedly. Lancex shook his head no and smiled. He agreed then and there that they would be a family of their own. Lancex finally felt like he a home and a place to belong, and it felt good.
