I don't understand why everyone voted and think HermitXBen is better than HomuraXBen, but I'm not complaining.

Also, for those who dislike this choice, that's your problem because this is my story and both of the votes have been fair and square, if you dislike it, don't read, it's that simple.

To answer the questions some of you may have of why HermitXBen wouldn't work:

1. I get that some of you think of Hermit as Edens Zero's Wendy, but I don't really think they are that similar. Yeah, they both have ponytails and blue color schemes but in rest...the two aren't that similar. The most important difference is their personalities and their ages. Hermit is more snarky and confident than Wendy ever was, and Hermit is even stated to be a tsundere! I always thought that Labillia is Wendy's counterpart in Edens Zero, through neither Labillia or Hermit have anything in common with Wendy other than having blue hair and being young-looking girls.

2. She's a glorified robot, I don't understand that at all. Hermit is an ADULT, she's basically older than even Ben! If a character is petite and looks young, in anime that doesn't always mean they are that young.

3. There's no need to call people pedos or be rude just because people chose Hermit over Homura or in anything(looking at you especially, B-Rad-12) and I want you all to know that I don't like that kind of behavior and reviews on my story. If you hate the story, the pairings or anything about the story and authors, you can still say that in a review but be respectful about it, or if you can't stop acting rude and childish, just stop reading the story. Is that simple.

4. Some of you may think that HomuraXBen may be the perfect pairing, but even through the two are similar with her being similar to UAF Ben personality-wise, but Hermit would be a good choice too. Hermit and Ben are both snarky, friendly, energetic and somewhat cheerful but can be serious when needed. Yeah, Hermit may be smarter than Ben, but so are Julie, Elena Validus, Ester and other of his love interests, so taking that in the thought, yeah, it won't be unlike Ben to fall in love with a girl smarter than him. Also, Ben and Hermit could easily fall in love(as Ben probably will be the one to make her trust humans again in Shiki's place).

5. In comparation to Homura, there are more ways in which Ben and Hermit could team up, with aliens like Upgrade, Nanomech, Jury Rigg or Gray Matter seeming like good aliens to work alongside Hermit. While with Homura the only potential alien team-ups would be with only Heatblast, XLR8 and/or Diamondhead.

Now that this is out of the way, and I hope none of you hate this story if Hermit wins instead of whoever you wanted, but she won fair and square in the poll twice, if that's not enough of a proof people want to see HermitXBen, so deal with it, and let's go on to explain some things about this story's version of Ben and his Omnitrix.

About this version of Ben:

This version of Ben is almost identical to Ben Prime, being childish and egoistical but can also be serious, selfless and mature. Most of this Ben's life happened almost identical to the canon series with a few differences:

-The first and most notable change to Ben's life is that the events of the Alex Winters movies happened in this version of events, through that doesn't change much other than Ben meeting Eon and Elena Validus early.

-The events of "Goodbye and Good Riddance" happened in this version of events, and as thus, that made Ben famous early through this events will be wiped out from the memories of everyone on the planet after he lost Feedback.

-After losing Feedback, Ben enters into a small depression and decides to give up the Omnitrix for good.

-Ben actually loved Eunice in her episode.

-Julie broke up with Ben after hearing about his escapade with Eunice, leaving the omnitrix wielder heart-broken as he remained with neither Julie or Eunice.

-Azmuth took away the Ultimatrix from Ben but included the Ultimates in the New Omnitrix.

-Ben never gets his special permit and continues his studies.

-When the Anihilaarg exploded, Alien X recreated the universe by combining parts of fiction and other universes into his own, thus making locations from other universes and pieces of media appeared in this timeline

-BenXKai never happens in this story. Spanner is not the son of Ben and, but of Ben and someone else. All that Spanners tells Ben is that Eunice won't be his wife.

-Ben sees The Contemelia as Grandpa Max, because I think that's the most important thing in Ben's life, not some stupid Mr. Smoothies mascots.

-If pushed to his limit, Ben may even consider killing his enemies if that is the only way to stop them.

The Omnimatrix a.k.a. The New Omnitrix

This version of the Omnitrix has all of the abilities and modes of the one from Omniverse but in addition to that it also has some added in functions.

The added functions are:

-The Powerhouse Playlist(inspired by the omnitrix from 5YL by the Ink Tank): A special playlist where the Omnitrix's strongest aliens chosen specially by Ben to be used in the most dire of situations before using the Ultimates. The aliens on this playlist are:

1. Alien X

2. Atomix

3. Clockwork

4. Way Big

5. Gravattack

6. NRG

7. Feedback

8. Chromastone

9. Shock Rock

10. Pesky Dust

11. Lodestar

-Combine mode: This mode allows the user to combine aliens with alien lifeforms that are able to exhange a form's abilities, the only aliens who can be combine with other aliens are Upgrade, Nanomech, Shock Rock, Surge and Slime-based aliens like Skurd or Goop.

-Last Generation AI: The Omnitrix now has an developed AI that is somewhat sentient, not to the level of Machines, but still sentient enough to be sarcastic and mess around with Ben. Think that Omnitrix has an AI version of Ben, kinda like Upgrade Ben/Glitch from the Reboot.

-Omni-Exhancements: Some form of upgrade for aliens using the rocks and energy of Shock Rock to exhange the abilities of that alien and let them use Shock Rock's ability. If used for too long, the High Override and his Fulmini army may take over Ben and the omnitrix. It used to actuvate at random but Ben now can control these forms only by thinking about them.

-The Evolutionary Function/Ultimates: Azmuth originally didn't want to include the function thinking that Albedo created that disgusting fuction to hamper his creation, but after he saw what kind of enemies Ben has to fight and how caring Ben was on freeing the Ultimates, the galvan eventually decided Ben is matyre enough to keep that function. It is activated by pressing the Omnitrix symbol once.

-Omni-Kix Armors: Special Armors created by the Omnitrix in order to make alien forms more durable and powerful while also giving them more abilities. If the user's life is in danger, the Omnitrix may automatically activate the armors.

-Omni-Naut Armors: Special Armors that allow the user to use Omni-Kix abilities, fly and survive in the vacuum of space and water.

Other add-ons:

The Omnitrix can do whatever a smart watch can.

The Omnitrix has an added safety measure against alien possession and taking over, but that doesn't mean the omnitrix can't be possesed by aliens who are inside the Omnitrix. This safety measure only work against Ecnorites, Vladats and Galvanic Mecamorphs.

The Omnitrix can heal any damage that the user or anyone else would receive, but if said person/user dies, then the Omnitrix can't do anything and will automatically fall off the user.

The Omnitrix cannot be influenced by Mana or by electromagnetic pulses but the watch is still weak to hacking and ether gear.

The Omnitrix cannot be used in any digital space, through it can be used within the Omnitrix's DNA flow and the Omnitrix can be hacked to allow the user to enter a digital space with the omnitrix working.

The Omnitrix now has a special command that allows the user to transform only with a thought. Useful when Ben is tied up or incapacitated in any way.

Also, for those asking, no, I won't include any of the non-canon aliens by DJW and Tom Perkings in the story, because Ben already is a bit OP in the story and I don't want make Ben be able to defeat every enemy too quickly or battles will end too quick. So yeah, no Non-Canon aliens, only those who appear on-screen in the Prime or Reboot continuities.

Anyways, other than that, there's an update surrounding the next chapter of this story. Well, I just started writing it yesterday and I just got to 700 words, through don't expect the chapter until Wednesday or even Friday. I have no fixed updated schedule, I'll post any chapter once its finished. Also, I am thinking of pausing the story after reaching Sun Jewel because I don't want to spoil the anime onlys. Through what do you guys say, should I continue past S1 and adapt the manga?

Anyways, at the time of writing this update, I'm also working on a Ben 10 AU One-Shot at the same time, so I don't know whether to focus on writing that or to focus on this story for now. For those curious it will just be a small one-shot exploring an alternate universe where Ben's family is killed by Vilgax that strays Ben away from the light path and towards darkness, through I am not saying anything more than that. Through you guys can give your own theories on what will happen in that one-shot.

Also, about that TMNT Foot AU one-shot I promised I would post after Ultimate Chainsaw ends...yeah, I dropped that idea and deleted the draft months ago. Sorry for those who wanted it(if any of you were even interested) but I just didn't feel like writing that and I enjoy more writing this crossover.
