Rafael looked and watched the video that Rick had sent him and his blood ran cold, the person in the video was someone who he had killed, after all, he was his brother little brother.
Rafael and the rest of his friends had to fight their way through dozens of people that had given up and given themselves into their darkest desires.
Back then Aincrad was a lot more dangerous than people would imagine, why wouldn't it be, after all, they were all trapped inside a game that was designed to kill them.
And once people realized that they could kill the other players and take their money- weapons and whatever else they wanted, nothing was left to stop them from doing whatever they wanted.
The rules that kept the players from hurting each other inside the towns remained but outside of the towns where the players spent most of the time...Rafael didn't want to remember everything that back then.
'Heathcliff contact whoever is in charge and ask them if they need our help." Rafael said to Heathcliff who just ignored him.
"Anyone who went to meet with the guy or guys that run this city see if the city needs our help." Rafael said to the other guild leaders who didn't answer him but kept their eyes away from Rafael.
"The hell with it, I'm going in." Rafael said to himself as four of his friends immediately walked to his side and followed him down the ramp.
"Don't." Asuna said to him as she stood in front of him, but Rafael just ignore her and walked past her.
As he stepped off the ramp and walked past Kirito and Heathcliff who were still keeping watch for any new attack that might come.
Rafael felt the wind blow past him before he blinked and found both men standing in front of him again.
"Here, we're not going to stop you, but we're not going to help you any more than this either," Heathcliff said to him as he sent him a map of the area of the city he had walked through earlier.
"There are some monsters in the city, we don't know why but for some reason the castle has sent them in." Kirito said to him as he reflected another bullet.
'Man that guy is getting annoying." Kirito said to himself before stepping aside and letting Rafael walk into the city.
Rafael and his guild stopped walking when they reached what was left of the fence that once separated Aincrad from Lungmen, he watched as one of his friends checked the police officers to see if they were alive.
"They're dead, I don't know if it was the people running over them or the stab wounds that killed them but they're dead." Saito said to him.
Rafael didn't answer Saito, he just waited for his friend to get back information before they all started walking again.
"So what's the plan?" Dante asked him as he listened for anyone that would use the shadows to attack them.
"We find out who attacked us and stop them anyone and anything else is collateral." Rafael answered Dante as he noticed a pair of kids hiding in an alley.
"Where are your parent?" Saito said to them but the kids just cowered as they tried to use their hands to hide themselves.
"Rick, I'm sending you another pair of kids." Saito said to Rick who immediately began to protest but Saito just ignored him and used a teleporting crystal to send the kids to Rick's location.
'You wasted a crystal." Dante said to Saito.
"So, did you expect me to tell them to run to the castle and let some jerk shoot at them?" Saito asked Dante, but Dante didn't say answer him.
The group of friends found themselves in a strange mixture of the unnerving silence of the empty city streets, combined with the loud sounds of a city in chaos.
Even if the people of the slums had run towards Aincrad there was no reason for the slums to be this empty.
There must have been people hiding in their houses and a lot of people must have run in the other direction deeper into the city.
Even if everyone was hiding and running away, there should have been dead bodies lying around, but there weren't and that made them worry.
No dead bodies meant that one of three things were happening, people vanished when they dies, the dead became undead or someone was cleaning out the place.
Rafael had already seen that the corpses remained and had to be pushed out of their way, which meant that they didn't just vanish so that just left the other two options.
Deep in Lungmen Wei Yenwu was immediately informed that Aincrad had sent a small team into the city.
It was bad enough that the flying city had sheltered not only the infected but the regular citizens that only cause trouble for him and the city.
"Keep an eye on them but don't attack them unless they attack you." Wei said to his informant who immediately hung up.
Wei could see the explosions occurring all over his city they were getting bigger and they were getting closer.
He knew that both the Lungmen Guard Department or L.G.D was more than capable of dealing with the situation, but he allowed Rhodes Island to assist them with dealing with the threat.
Reunion is an organization made of the Infected, people that believed that they are treated poorly and wanted to change their situation.
After what happened to Chernobog and what Reunion had done to his city, the rest of the world will only treat the infected even worse.
Still, that was one situation, he needed to think of a way of making the knights pay for sending their operators into Lungmen without his permission.

Rafael felt the temperature drop before a skeleton walked towards him, the skeleton wasn't alone as it escorted a group of Ursus people out of one of the houses.
"What are you doing?" Rafael said to the skeleton who stopped walking. and showed him the healing crystal that it held in its hand.
"You have the crystal let them go." Rafael said to the skeleton who just turned to look at the people behind it.
"No we want to go back to the castle, he said that he could take us back." A woman answered Rafael.
Rafael wanted to argue, with the woman but considering the circumstances how could he?
"Do you know what's going on?" Dante asked the skeleton and the people with it and he watched as the skeleton pointed at a fire that was burning not too far from their location.
"Here." Saito said to the group of frightened people as he took out a hand full of spare emblems from his pocket.
"If anyone asks you are under our protection" Saito said to them as he handed them the emblems.
