Ch'en stood in front of the platform that allowed to enter Aincrad, the flying city had separated itself from Lung men and lowered itself to the grounds so that people could come in and out as they wanted.
She was the only one standing there at the moment and considering that there weren't any guards protecting the entrance she walked right into the flying city.
Ch'en found herself looking at something that she knew existed and had seen several times in Lungmen but bever like this.
The inside of Aincrad was completely different from the world outside of it.
Terra is a world-filed Originium and that meant that a lot of the planet was barren, if it wasn't a dessert or a frozen wasteland it was just miles upon miles of dead lands.
Sure some farms grew food for everyone in the different Kingdoms but they were in areas where few disasters occurred, but most people grew their food on top of the mobile cities.
Her head began to hurt as she looked at the inside of the castle, she knew that she could walk from one end of the castle to another, but at the same time, she felt as if she tried to do that now she would never make it.
"You, you're with me." Ch'en heard someone say to her as he walked past her, she was about to say something when she found a group of people walking past her all of a sudden.
"How?' Ch'en asked herself, she was confident in her senses to know that she would have been able to sense the group of people before they even reached her, and yet she wasn't able to do it.
"Okay, I'm Rafael, and believe me I don't want t do this so let's skip to the good part."
"Everyone here forfeited, any objections, no great."
"I guess you bunch need some training," Rafael said to everyone before waving at them to follow him.
"Waite!" Ch'en said to Rafael who didn't bother to turn and look at her.
"If you think you can do this without my help go head and survive, it won't help you when you go up this castle." he said to her.
Ch'en was about to leave the group when she noticed the number of children in it so she decided to follow them.
The group walked for what felt like an hour all the while they listened to grows or hows of the beasts on the first floor, which was mixed with the screams of the infected that were brought into the castle.
With every passing moment, she began to grow more and more suspicious as to where the man was leading them and she was bout to draw her sword when the man spoke again.
"Do it and I'll kill you." Rafael said to her as she slowly let go of the hilt of her sword.
'Where are you taking us?" she asked him.
"Here." Rafael answered her as he stood in front of a black pillar.
"This pillar has the names of every player that has died on the first floor, in the town of beginnings there's another one just like it, but it has the names of everyone that has died on every floor."
"And you can imagine that every floor has a pillar just like this one that has the names of the people that have died on it" Rafael said to them as he placed his hand on the black stone of the pillar.
"This castle may be training, but there is always a chance it won't be able to save you."
"Listen." Rafel said to everyone and the group became quiet as they listened to the people scream in pain as the beasts roared.
Ch'en wasn't sure but she could swear that she could hear someone whimpering as something at them alive.
"Just because you can't die, doesn't mean that you cant get hurt."
"There's nothing stoping men and women from finding you and taking what they want, be it weapons- food or something else." Rafael said to the group as he ordered his help screen to give his group their swords and daggers.
"Those of you that have weapons with you, feel free to use them, but when you are about to challenge the floor boss you can't challenge it with anyone that's below your level." Rafael said to the few people in his group that were carrying weapons with them and looked as if they knew how to use them.
Ch'en didn't say anything as she listened to Rafael talk to her and everyone else, the man had a job to do and he was doing it, despite not wanting to.
"Those of you that think you are strong enough and don't need training, the floor boss is inside that room, just open the door over there."
"Everyone else I'll teach you the basics of the castle." Rafel said to everyone.
Ch'en didn't ned to her anymore she just needed to get this over with so she left the group and walked towards the pair of massive white doors.
She tried pushing them open and was surprised to find that they opened without any problems.
As she walked into the floor boss's room she found herself in what looked like a giant cathedral.
'Draw your weapon because your test begins now." A powerful voice said to her as a giant Kangaroo landed in front of her.
Ch'en wanted to laugh the man looked ridiculous, he was wearing a black mask on his head and wore what looked like a skirt to cover his private areas.
He held a giant shield in his right hand and a giant ax in his left hand, but other than that he was completely exposed.
This was a test meant for beginners and while she was surprised about the man's massive size, it wasn't something she hadn't seen before.
'This is going to be easy." Ch'en said as she drew her sword.
"Too slow." the kangaroo said and Ch'en realized that something had stabbed her, not once but twenty times, because those were the number of spears in her chest.
"Had you been a beginner I would have been weaker but your not a beginner are you?' the kangaroo said to her before he lifted his leg and slammed it onto her head crushing it.
Ch'en opened her eyes wide before she sat up and began to gasp for air, she began to look around and found herself in a town that she had never been in before.
"Congratulations you died." someone said to her before walking away and leaving her laying on the floor.
