CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR: GOOD VS EVIL

Roxanne and I entered the bedroom with urgency. I slammed the door shut and walked over to the folding doors. I opened the closet with such force that I almost tore the doors off their hinges. It was mainly empty with only a few boxes stuffed inside, along with a few button-down spring jackets.

I checked each box, looking for the one that had my father's stuff inside. When I moved in, I stuffed a few boxes inside the closet as I didn't want to just leave them in the garage since some of them housed very important stuff inside. Plus, I didn't want to stuff my dad's stuff in the garage to collect dust or be entangled in a spider web.

I checked the last box that was on the floor. I smiled when I saw the words 'Harold's Belongings' written with permanent marker on the side of the box. I grabbed the box and lifted it off the floor. I hefted it over to the bed with Roxanne watching. I placed the box on the bed and began to remove the tape.

"What are you doing?" Roxanne asked curiously.

"Like I said in the meadow, grabbing a few items," I said as I struggled to rip the tape off the box. "They are inside the box. I'm sure as hell not going to fight William unprepared."

Silence filled the room as I continued with my task. It took me a moment, but I finally got the tape off the box. I opened the box and peeked inside. Inside was my father's handgun, a leather belt with ammo pouches, a shoulder holster, several boxes of ammo, a taser that took the shape of a small gun, and one of my father's favorite guns; a 6-inched barrel Colt Anaconda.

I retrieved the Colt Anaconda out of the box and rest it on the bed. I do the same with the belt, a vertical shoulder holster, the taser, and the boxes with the .44 Magnum ammo.

"Wait, what is all of this?" Roxanne gasped. "And why do you have your father's stuff?"

I looked at her to see an expression of shock plastered on her face.

"This is what I'm bringing to the fight in case shit hits the fan and I'm well prepared," I said. "And as for why I have my father's stuff, I inherited it sometime after my father committed suicide. Of course, just in case, I went to earn a gun permit when I turned 21."

Roxanne nodded, though the shock was still on her face. I honestly couldn't blame her. The wolf's probably never seen stuff like this before. Hell, she probably doesn't even know what they do. I hoped she would never have to find out.

I looked back at my stuff and picked up the shoulder holster. I put it on, making sure it was secure. I opened the 3 ammo pouches on the belt. I retrieved 3 boxes of .44 Magnum ammo as I planned to use those. I stuffed two of them into the pouches before closing them, keeping the third in my hand. I opened the box, taking six cartridges out of the box before closing it. I opened the last pouch and stuffed it in there before closing the pouch. I strapped the belt around my waist.

I picked up the Colt Anaconda with my right hand and opened the cylinder with caution. I put the 6 cartridges into their respective holes before closing the cylinder. I placed the gun into the holster, patting it softly with my right hand.

I picked up the taser, checking it out to see if it was in good condition. It seemed to be. I didn't know whether it would work or not, but I was going to take it with me, just in case. I stuffed it into my pocket, patting it softly.

Now ready, I closed the box and placed it back in its original spot. Straightening my posture, I searched for a good jacket. It took me a moment to pick one; a nice black jacket fitted for the warm weather. I took it off the hanger before shutting the closet. I put the jacket on, fastening all of the buttons.

I looked at Roxanne, who was still watching me with shock.

"What?" I asked, wondering why she was still staring at me like that.

"This is crazy," she whispered.

"What's crazy?" I asked.

"That you're actually going to do this," she replied. I knew right away what she was referring to. I walked over to the wolf mascot, resting my right hand on her shoulder.

"Roxanne, I have to," I said. "My mother's in danger. I'm not just going to sit here and do nothing. I had a strong feeling this was something I had to deal with alone. Now that it's happening, I have to do what must be done to protect my mother."

Oil began building up in her eyes, her body shaking slightly. Her lower jaw began trembling as low whimpers escaped her. She shut her eyes tightly, her shaking intensifying. It looked as though she was repressing something.

"No, I won't let you do this!" she exclaimed. The shout caught me by surprise for a moment before I regained my composure.

"Roxanne, now's not the time to get stubborn," I said sternly. "I have to or else my mom is history."

"NO!" she shouted, the oil now trailing down her face. "YOU CAN'T FIGHT HIM! EVEN WITH A GUN, YOU MIGHT NOT STAND A CHANCE! YOU COULD DIE!"

"If that happens, I'll take him with me," I said coldly.

"Please…" she whimpered as she fell onto her knees. "Please… don't go… I don't want to lose you like that…"

I felt my heart threaten to shatter. I understood her concerns. In fact, if I was in her feet, I would be doing the exact same thing. However, if I didn't go, it would be a way of saying that I don't give a damn.

I sighed. "Roxanne, there's no way out of it. My mother is all I have left. If she dies, I'll be left with no family. I can't have that."

She mimicked a sniffled before she opened her eyes. She looked at me, traces of determination present in her eyes.

"Fine, I'll come with you," she said.

I shook my head. "No, Roxanne. I can't take you with me."

"But, I can-" Roxanne began to say before I raised my left hand, signaling for her to stop.

"It's too risky," I said. "If I bring you with me, Afton will kill my mother, as he said he would if I brought someone. If he decided not to, he will try to hack you and force you to kill me, as he has tried a few times already. Regardless, I have to go alone."

The sad expression on her face changed into one of slight anger. I felt slightly uneasy seeing that.

"Mihael, I don't care what you say; I'm coming with you," Roxanne growled. "Have you ever thought about it being a trap? This could be what Afton wants. He wants you to come alone as that would make killing you easier for him. He probably doesn't have your mother and using that excuse as bait."

I thought about that. She might be right about that. For all we knew, my mother was safe. However, even if Rebecca was safe at home and I brought Roxanne with me, that would be giving William a chance to hack Roxanne, this time permanently.

I sighed. "Roxanne, you may or may not be right about that. Even if you were, bringing you with me is still dangerous. You have to stay here where it's safe."

"Then by staying here and doing nothing, wouldn't that make me a coward?" she pointed out. "After all that's happened to us, I'm not going to let you fight that monster alone. The best chance we have against him is by sticking together."

"And if I bring you, he'll hack you," I said, getting annoyed.

"It's better than you going alone," she countered.

"Okay then," I said as I let go of her shoulder, rubbing my right temple to keep myself calm. "What am I supposed to do if William hacks you?"

Roxanne went into deep thought for a moment. I waited patiently for her idea. I could only hope that whatever was going on in her head, she would come up with a good idea. After a moment, Roxanne looked me in the eyes, her face pleading.

"I don't know, but I'm sure you'll figure it out," she said. "Please Mihael, let me come with you. If you do find a way to snap me out of it, it'll be two vs one. We can take him down easier that way. I may not be a fighter, but that doesn't mean I can't at least try. Mihael… please…"

I crossed my arms, looking away and down at the floor. I thought about it. Every part of me was telling me not to bring her. Yet, there was a really tiny part of me that was urging me to take bring her. It wouldn't matter if I brought her with me or not. The fight against Afton was going to be brutal. Regardless if she was right or not, I wasn't taking any chances.

I sighed, looking back at Roxanne. She was still looking at me with that pleading look on her face.

"Roxanne, you are not coming with me and that's final," I said firmly. The pleading look became broken. "Look, I know you want to help, but it's too risky. You may even be right, but for all we know, it can be a trap set up for you. I'm sorry, Roxanne. I'm not changing my mind."

Roxanne sighed in defeat. I felt slightly guilty for saying no, but it was for her own good to not come with me. It took everything I had to keep myself from changing my mind.

"Fine, just please promise me this," Roxanne said. "No matter what happens, don't let him get the best of you. Come home safely."

I stared at her for a moment. I wanted to keep that promise, but I had no idea how the fight would turn out. Regardless, I was going to give him my all.

"I'll do my best, Roxanne," I said. She didn't look pleased with the response, but she nodded her head regardless.

"Be careful, Mihael," she whispered. I didn't say anything as I grabbed the keys from the nightstand. With that, I walked out of the bedroom, closing the door behind me. I walked out of the living room and out of the house.

I walked over to the truck with quickness in my steps. I pushed the unlock button. The sounds of the locks undoing echoed softly in my ears. I walked over to the driver's side and opened the door. I hopped onto the driver's seat, closing the door as well.

I put the key into the ignition and turned it. The truck came to life. I gripped the steering wheel, a wave of determination flowing throughout my body.

"Alright, Afton, I'm coming for you," I said as I pulled out of the driveway. Once out, I began speeding down the road out of the neighborhood in the direction of the Pizzaplex.

I arrived at the Pizzaplex in 10 minutes, due to how fast I drove to get there. I probably could've gotten there faster if the lights decided to play nice.

I pulled into a parking spot closest to the entrance doors. I put the truck into park and turned the keys, shutting off the ignition. I took the keys out and stuffed them into my pocket.

I stayed where I was, thinking about what I was doing. I began to regret not bringing Roxanne with me, but I didn't want to take any risks. I loved her too much to let it happen again. I had no idea what she was doing now, but I hoped it was staying at the house.

I sighed, pushing those thoughts out of my head.

'Let's do this shit,' I thought to myself. I opened the door and stepped out of the truck, slamming the door shut.

I began advancing towards the Pizzaplex. I felt the beating of my heart pick up slowly as I got closer. This was it. It was time to face the monster that has potentially ruined the lives of so many people.

I mentally slapped myself. This entire time since I've heard of William Afton and how he possessed Vanessa, I've been debating on whether it was him or not. It's like my mind can't make up itself. It's both frustrating and annoying. I guess I will only make up my mind once I get the answers out of him.

I reached the entrance doors to the Pizzaplex. I stopped about a foot away from them, staring at them. Although I haven't been there for at least over 24 hours, it felts like an eternity since I've been here. However, I was here for one reason; to save my mom from William Afton.

I took a deep breath and entered the Pizzaplex.

A wave of shock and horror flowed through me, my eyes widened at the sight of the Lobby.

Once beautiful, it now looked like a war battle had taken place. The walls and floors were cracked with some parts of the floor missing tiles and the walls had craters, the Golden Glamrock Freddy statue was on the floor between the stairs, some of the gates were ripped off their hinges, the windows for the shops were shattered, some of the fake palm trees were lying on the floor, and a few of the neon lights were destroyed. Some merchandise was all over the floor with some of the plushies missing heads or even limbs.

"Oh my God," I whispered.

It was unbelievable. I tried to imagine what could've taken place here, but nothing came up. What I was able to imagine, however, was that whatever happened here, a lot of rage was unleashed here. Plus, it had to have been VERY brutal.

I found the strength to move my legs. I began the walk over to the elevator. As I walked up the stairs, seeing the whole Lobby in this condition reminded me of what Kyle said about how he came to see the Lobby like this that morning 10 years ago. I had no idea how to see that as; ironic or some mere coincidence.

I made it to the top of the stairs. It wasn't as bad as it looked downstairs, but it was still pretty bad. As I surveyed the place, I noticed something small lying on the floor a few feet away. I leaned forward a little. It looked to be a small round object with wires attached to it.

I walked over to it, wondering what it could be. I bent down and picked it up with the thumb, index, and middle fingers of my right hand. I analyzed the object. It was a familiar dark blue eye. From the looks of it, someone or something forcefully ripped the eye out, taking the wires with it. I felt a sickening feeling form in my stomach. There was only one animatronic in the Mega Pizzaplex I knew that had dark blue eyes.

Anger bubbled up within me. Something told me that William had something to do with it. There was no one else I knew that was cruel enough to do something like that to the kindhearted chicken. No one deserves to have that happen to them, except for those that rightfully did.

As that went through my mind, I thought about the others. I felt the anger begin to boil within me. If that bastard did anything to them, I might have to rip out his fucking eyes. I could only hope that they were alright.

I carefully stuff the eye into the right pocket of my jacket. I straightened my posture, training my eyes on the elevator. My hands clenched into fists as the anger boiled even more within me.

'I don't know what you did to the others, but I'm going to make you regret everything you've done, William,' I thought angrily to myself. I walked over to the elevator and pushed the button.

After a few moments, the metal doors slid open. I stepped into the elevator. I pushed the button for the Atrium. With that, the doors slid closed and I felt the elevator begin its descent to where the fight was going to take place.

The elevator dinged and the doors slid open. When they had fully opened, my eyes widened at the sight of the Atrium. The room was trashed with the tables tossed aside with some of them completely destroyed, some of the signs for the attraction were missing a few letters, the walls were cracked, and there were huge craters on the floor. Most of the lights in the Atrium were dim and there was a strange light purple mist surrounding the floor.

I gulped as my heart began beating in my chest. Fear washed over me, trying its best to root me to my spot. I did my very best to repress it. I clenched my hands into fists, readying myself for the ultimate outcome.

'This is it,' I thought to myself. 'It's time to come face-to-face with the one who has caused so much suffering.'

With every ounce of determination, I charged out of the elevator. The mist drifted as I charged. I felt my skin crawl as it did. The dim lighting only intensified the feeling. I did my best to keep it from getting out of control.

I stopped in the center of the Atrium and began looking for signs of Afton. There were no signs of him anywhere. It was probably due to the dim lighting, but I didn't care. I growled as I continued looking for the bastard, my anger getting closer to its boiling point. I was here to fight, not playing hide-and-seek with a stupid cowardly killer.

A whoosh from my left made me jump slightly. I looked quickly to find nothing there. Another whooshing sound to my right made me look quickly in that direction. Again, there was nothing. More of that sound began echoing all around me. I looked in those directions to find nothing. It took me a moment to understand what was happening.

"Show yourself, Afton!" I demanded. "Come out of the shadows and face me like a man!"

As soon as those words left my mouth, the whooshing came to a stop about a few feet away from me. I waited anxiously for something to happen. As I did, I slowly began to regret my words from earlier. However, I didn't allow myself to regret it for long.

A figure shrouded in shadow began to form by me very eyes. It was leaning slightly to the left as it took slow, unsteady steps. What caught my attention was how it didn't even look human. I tried to imagine what it could be, but I came up with nothing.

A few steps later, the figure stopped about 3 feet away from me. As if on cue, the shadow lifted off the figure. I didn't know what to expect, but I sure as hell wasn't expecting the figure's true appearance.

Standing before me was what looked like to be that of a decaying, burned-out animatronic rabbit. The metallic flesh was a sick green, and there looked to be small tendrils of flesh wrapped around the metal skeleton. It had sharp claws protruding from its fingertips, and the eyes shined that familiar purple I've seen so many times now.

I glared at it in disgust. The monster looked like a walking corpse that came straight out of 'The Walking Dead'. How something this disgusting could exist was beyond me. Plus, how it was able to even hack Roxanne was an even bigger mystery.

The creature stared at me for a moment before a sinister laugh escaped it, its disgusting lower jaw shaking as it did.

"So, we finally meet at last, Patel," it said in that familiar voice.

"William Afton," I growled angrily. The creature, William Afton, laughed again.

"In the flesh," he said, emphasizing on the word 'flesh'. I wrinkled my nose in disgust. He laughed again. "What? Didn't expect for me to look like this?"

"I wasn't sure what to expect," I replied harshly. "I've been trying to figure out what you were, considering that you have the presumed ability to possess people, like what you did to Vanessa all those years ago."

A sinister smile formed on his face. I clenched both my hands into tight fists. I felt every inch of me want to punch that smile off his face. However, I kept myself glued to my spot.

"How sweet of you," he mocked, the tone making my anger boil some more. "And how did that go?"

I glared at him for a moment. "A struggle, I will admit that."

He chuckled evilly. "Figured as much."

We stared at each other for a moment before something clicked in my head. Now that we were face-to-face, I could ask him some of the few lingering questions. While a part of me doubted that William would tell me anything, it was worth a shot.

"Now, let's-" William began to say before I raised a hand. The gesture got him to stop.

"Before we do, there are a few questions that I want answers to, if you don't mind," I said. William stared at me for a brief moment before the smile on his face grew.

"Very well," he replied. "But only one. I want to see you fall on your knees as soon as possible."

I glared at him. I wasn't going to let that slide.

"Yeah, I don't think so," I snapped. "Make that four."

The smile left his face as it became angry. "Two."

"Three," I snapped. "Take it or leave it."

He glared at me. He could easily reject the offer, and the fight would begin immediately. I waited, slowly growing impatient.

"Fine, what are your questions?" he spat. I didn't feel grateful at this turn of events. I thought about it before I thought of something that was just as important.

"First off, where are Freddy, Chica, and Montgomery?" I asked. The disgusting smile returned to his face.

"Oh, those pathetic weaklings," he mocked. "If you must know, let's just say, they are going to need some… VERY important repairs."

I bared my teeth at him as he laughed. I didn't like that reply. I had a feeling he did something to them, considering I found Chica's eye in the Lobby. If he dismantled them, I was going to make sure I made him suffer.

"Your other question?" he pointed out. I knew right away what I wanted to ask.

"Where's my mother?" I asked slowly. William didn't say anything. I felt my anger getting much closer to its boiling point at him not saying anything. "ANSWER ME, GOD DAMMIT! WHERE… IS… MY… MOTHER?! I WILL TEAR YOU APART IF YOU DON'T START TALKING!"

"Spare me the threats, boy," he spat venomously. "They won't get you anywhere. But, if you want to know, I have her locked up in the office of that stupid boss of yours. Your boss is locked in there with her. The fools thought they could handle me, but let's say, I hope they have health insurance."

I growled, my anger now inches from its boiling point. It was bad enough to know that he had her hostage but to hear that he hurt my mother was a whole other level. The urge to go and punch him in the face with all my might was becoming much stronger.

"Now, for your final question," he urged. I thought for a moment before one came to mind.

"To start off," I began, my voice sounding tight, "a few days ago, Kyle told me that when he asked Roxanne if she remembered anything of that night, she said no. After shutting the place down for a month, he checked her memories to find out what happened. He found that her memories were intact, but he discovered the problem. He couldn't access them no matter what he did, which makes the whole thing even stranger. So, tell me; what the hell did you do to her that night?"

Like last time, William didn't say anything. That smile on his face grew slightly and seemed to be chuckling to himself. I growled as my anger was now boiling at this point.

"THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU'RE PULLING THIS FUCKING SHIT, WILLIAM!" I snapped angrily. "NOW, ANSWER ME! WHAT… DID… YOU… DO?!"

William began laughing maniacally at this. I clenched my teeth, my fists becoming tighter. After a moment, he finally stopped. That disgusting smile grew some more as he readied his claws.

"Out of all the questions, you ask that?!" he mocked loudly. "Here I thought you would ask about your sister, consider that I killed her near the end of that night! No matter! We've wasted far too much time now! I've been waiting for this for far too long! Now, prepare to DIE!"

As soon as he said that, William began charging at me, his right hand raised and the claws glistening. I stood my ground, waiting for the bastard to strike before making a move of my own. Patience was the key.

The moment came. When he got about a foot from me, William swung his arm, trying to aim straight for my face. At the last second, I maneuvered my body to the left, pulling my left arm back. William glared at me for dodging his attack. Without hesitating, I swung my arm as hard as I could. My fist struck his decaying jaw, the force knocking him to the ground.

I glared at him as the bastard looked up from the floor, aiming his hate-filled eyes at me.

"You little-" was all he could say before I swung my right leg, my foot aiming for his face. The force knocked him backward onto his back.

"'You little' what, William?" I mocked as he slowly got back on his feet. "Weren't expecting that, were you? If you thought I was going to be an easy target, then think again. I know all forms of martial arts and self-defense, thanks to my father, so expect a challenge."

He didn't say anything. Instead, he continued glaring at me with those hate-filled eyes. I wanted to mock him some more, but I held my tongue. It was never a good idea to become overconfident during a fight, as well as mock when it wasn't necessary. It can cloud your judgment, making you an easy target. I wasn't going to let that happen.

William let out an enraged cry before charging at me. He swung his right hand at me. I moved to the side. He swung his left hand, but I moved to the other side. He repeated this action a few times, growing angrier every time I dodged. After swinging his right hand one last time, he growled angrily.

"Stop mocking me!" William shouted before he swung his leg in an attempt to kick me on the side of the head. I raised my right arm in time to block the attack.

I cringed as it struck my arm. The hard blow sent a charge of pain through my arm. I felt the flesh making contact with my arm. It took everything I had to not throw up from the contact.

He smirked, seeing the discomfort on my face. That washed away the feeling, a wave of anger flowing through me. I pushed the leg off of me, balled my hand into a fist, and swung. William moved out of the way as I went for another punch. He dodged a few more before deciding to strike back.

At the same time, our fists collided with each other. William went for another punch, but I dodged. I did the same, only for him to dodge it as well. We both swung fists and legs, attempting to bring down one another. However, with each punch and kick, we both dodged each other's attacks.

William grew angrier as I dodged and it was showing. I felt my own fury grow as he dodged mine, but unlike him, I didn't show it. My father trained me to keep my anger from overclouding me during a fight. I may have a problem with my temper, but I learned to keep it from clouding me.

After dodging another one of his punches, I backflipped away from him. Landing on my feet, I glared at him, trying to catch my breath as I did. He glared at me back but didn't show any signs of being tired. I guess that's one benefit of being a walking corpse.

William stared at me for a moment before that smile formed on his face.

"Getting tired, are you?" he asked in a mocking tone. I growled at that. "Lucky me. Your exhaustion will make this easier for me."

I readied myself, trying my best to suppress the exhaustion that was now starting to hit me. I wasn't going down without a fight, not by a long shot. I didn't care how exhausted I would get during it, I was going to fight to the very end.

I charged at him, my right hand readied for a punch. He just kept that smile on his face as I did. When I reached him, I swung as hard as I could. He moved to the side before something slammed hard onto my back. I fell flat on my stomach as pain surged through it. I looked up in time to see him raise his foot over my head, planning on crushing my head into a fine powder.

I rolled out of the way at the last second. His foot hard slammed onto the floor, cracking it in the process. Without a moment of hesitation, I spun, swinging my leg as I did. My foot struck him on the side. He fell onto his right side.

I quickly got back on my feet and kicked him in the face. He rolled for a second before he stopped. He slowly got back on his feet, glaring at me as he did.

"You're tougher than I thought," he growled.

I smirked. "I told you to expect a challenge. I'm starting to think you're not even trying."
He smirked at that. Without warning, he began charging at me at full speed. Before I could react, William pulled back his right fist for a moment before he swung it. It struck me on the left cheek. I cried out as a shock of pain through my cheek. I stumbled back, touching my cheek as I did. I felt it become sticky. I looked in time to see him charging at me again. He collided into me, sending me falling onto my back.

I grunted as that happened. I felt a metallic hand press down on my neck, preventing me from breathing. I looked to see William looking down at me with that evil smile on his face.

"I'm sorry, you were saying, Patel?" he mocked as he readied his right hand for the kill. "Time to die. You put up a good fight. It was fun while it lasted."

I glared at him as I balled up my right hand into a fist. Before he could do anything else, I swung it as hard as I could. The blow was enough to knock his head to the side. I grabbed his head with both hands and slammed mine onto his own. Pain shot through my head, but I ignored it. He stumbled off of me as a result. I bent my legs to my chest and launched myself with my hands as hard as I could. Both of my feet hit his chest and the force was enough to send him flying a good few feet.

I got back onto my feet, straightening my posture as I did. I watched as he slowly got back on his own feet. Pure rage was clear on his face as he balled his hands into fists.

"I'm sorry, you were saying, Afton?" I mocked back, repeating the words he said to me just seconds ago as I felt the blood trailing down my face.

William bared his teeth at me in anger as he charged at me. He swung a fist, but I dodged. He swung his other hand, but I did the same. He blindly tried to punch me with no success. He cried out as he tried kicking me. I blocked it with my left arm. He kicked at it a few times, getting angrier as he did.

"Come on, fight me!" he demanded as he went for another kick.

'Your wish is my command,' I thought as it caught his leg. William glared at me, sheer hatred in his eyes.

I cried out as I swung my leg as hard as I could. My foot struck him on the side of the face, sending him flying a good feet away from me. I stared at him as he lay on the ground for a moment. He slowly got back on his feet, clearly wanting me to burn in hell.

"Is that all you got?" I said coldly.

I watched as William bared his teeth at me in anger. He reached for a piece of wood that stood beside his feet. He looked at it for a brief moment before crying angrily. With everything he had, he tossed it at me with blinding speed.

The piece of wood hit me in the stomach. The blow was hard enough to knock me off of my feet and fall onto my back. I groaned as pain shot through my body. I opened my eyes to see him standing over me. Without warning, he kicked in the face. I rolled for a bit before I stopped. I laid there for a moment before I tried to get back up. A swift kick to my ribs stopped me. I cried out as I felt something snap. I fell onto my back, clutching my ribs. Not a moment later, something metallic slammed onto my right leg. I bit my lip to keep myself from screaming before something wrapped itself around my throat, slamming my head to the ground.

I opened my eyes to see William looking down at me. I couldn't see the expression on his face as my vision was blurry. I had a feeling that it was one of pure rage. He readied his left hand, the claws glistening.

"You put up a good fight, but I've grown tired of this, Patel," he spat venomously.

"I told you I wouldn't be so easy," I spat back. He lifted my head up from the ground before slamming it back down.

"Shut your trap, boy!" he shouted angrily. "I should've killed you all those years ago instead of taking your sister! If I had known you would be this much of a pest, I would have done so! But now, I'm going to undo that mistake… right… NOW!" Then, William smiled evilly as I bared my teeth at him. "Any last words?"

"Fuck you," I growled through my teeth before I spat at his face. He flinched as it struck him in the right eye. He stared at me for a moment before he punched me in the face.

"Got some nerve, boy," he spat. "Time to die…"

He raised his left hand, the claws glistening once again. I glared at him in defiance as his smile grew some more. My very life began flashing in my eyes, reliving some happy moments I had. I mentally blocked them out of my mind.

'At least I tried,' I thought to myself as William began laughing maniacally, bringing his claws down at me.

Before his claws met their mark, something shoved William off of me. I gasped as I took in deep breaths. I sat up slowly as much as I could, cringing as pain shot through my body. I looked to see who saved me. My eyes widened at who it was.

Roxanne Wolf was standing protective over me, low snarls emitting from the wolf mascot. Her fingers were flexed, baring her teeth at William, who was a few feet away getting back on his feet. She had the most enraged expression on her face, her eyes feral and filled with hatred.

"R-Roxanne?" I choked out.

"Who else, Mihael?" she countered.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, feeling my anger bubble up for her being here rather than in the safety of the house. "How did you even get here?"

"Peter drove me," she replied. "Look, I will explain everything to you when this is over. Right now, William is our main priority."

I was surprised to see her behave like this. I didn't know why but there was something different about her. She looked the same, but I just couldn't pinpoint what.

"Well, look who it is," William said mockingly. "I'm surprised you came back, Roxy. Looks like you're begging for it."

"Go ahead and try, Afton," she spat venomously.

"Oh, you're asking for it now?" he exclaimed. "Well then, with pleasure."

It clicked in my head as to what was about to happen. I went to say something, but I cringed as I moved. Hot pain shot through me. I clenched my ribs, tears building up in my eyes. I could only watch as Roxanne slowly advanced toward him.

"Roxanne… don't…" I choked out, fearing for what was going to happen. She didn't show any signs of acknowledgment as she inched closer.

I looked at William. His disgusting eyes began to shine brightly as he focused his attention on Roxanne. It took me a moment to realize the meaning of the glow in his eyes. I growled angrily, knowing what was going to happen.

Nothing happened. Roxanne continued to advance towards William, the pacing of her steps picking up slightly. William stared at her in slight confusion before trying again. Nothing happened. The pacing of Roxanne's steps became that of a sprint. I watched as her right hand balled up into a tight fist. My eyes widened at this sudden turn of events.

"What?!" he cried out. "Why isn't it-"

He was cut off by Roxanne punching him in the face. He cried out as he spun around like a top before he fell flat on his face. He laid there for a moment before he slowly began getting back up on his feet. He wasn't able to get about an inch off the floor before Roxanne grabbed him by his right leg and his neck. She lifted him up like he was nothing and threw him across the room.

I watched in awe. How Roxanne was no longer being affected was a mystery to me. Relief washed over me at seeing her not being hacked by that walking corpse.

"How are you resisting?!" William exclaimed as he got back on his feet, his eyes flashing brightly. Roxanne responded by charging and punching him in the face. Rage was clear on her face as she punched him again and again.

I slowly reached for the taser I had in my pocket and pulled it out. Something told me that it wasn't long before William decided to take action and try to overpower Roxanne.

With one last punch, William was knocked to the floor. Roxanne looked down at him before she went for a kick. William grabbed hold of it, holding it in place. Without warning, he delivered a swift kick to her side. The blow sent her flying across the room. William took that moment to get up on his feet and charged at her.

I readied the taser as Roxanne slowly got to her feet. She turned as William delivered another swift kick, this time to the face. She spun for a moment before she fell on her back. William stood over her, his body heaving.

I aimed the taser at him, waiting for the moment to shoot. The index finger of my right hand was pushing against the trigger a little bit, but not enough to set it off.

"I don't know how you're managing to resist me, but that doesn't matter now!" William spat angrily. "I'm going to get rid of you first since you'll be nothing but a fucking pest! The CEO should've scrapped you a long time ago! Looks like I'm going to have to do the job for him! Goodbye, you worthless piece of scrap metal!"

He raised his foot, hovering it over her head. That disgusting smile formed on his face, obviously thinking that he had her now. I pulled the trigger.

A zipping sound emitted from the taser before the rods met their mark. Electricity flowed through his body, causing him to let out a scream of agony. It went on for a few seconds before he fell to the ground.

With everything I had, I got back on my feet and slowly limped over to William. I tossed the taser aside as I unfastened my black jacket. I did my best to ignore the pain that shot through my leg.

William slowly got back on his feet, stumbling slightly as he did. I reached into my jacket, my hand making contact with the handle of the gun. He glared at me with an uncontrollable rage.

"You little shit," he growled. "Shooting me in the back with a fucking taser like a little bitch. I've had enough of this. It's time for you to DIE!"

With that, he began charging at me in a blind fury. I smirked as I had him right where I wanted him.

'You're right, only it's time for you to die,' I thought as I whipped the gun out of the holster and aimed. I pulled the trigger.

A loud band echoed throughout the room. William stumbled backward as the bullet hit him in the shoulder. He looked at me with shock before I pulled the trigger. He stumbled back again as it hit him in the chest. My smirk grew as I aimed for his left eye. I once again pulled the trigger.

He screamed in agony as his eye blew up. I aimed for his other eye before pulling the trigger. His other eye blew up. He screamed even louder, the sound inhuman. I balled my left hand into a fist as I got closer.

He looked at me or at least tried to, growling as he did. I pulled my arm back before I swung as hard as I could. The blow was hard enough to knock him to the floor. The second he hit the floor, I aimed for his neck and fired. He screamed once again.

"Let this fight be a very important lesson to you, dipshit," I threatened. "Never… FUCK… with my friends and family."

I aimed for his head and pulled the trigger. The bullet went through one side of the head and out the other. William let out a strange sound before his head fell to the ground.

I sighed as my arm lowered. A wave of relief washed over me. I looked to Roxanne, who was staring at me with wide eyes. I was happy to see that she wasn't too badly damaged. I had no idea on how I looked, but that didn't matter to me right now.

As we stared, the strange mist began to dissipate. The lighting began returning to normal, shining the Atrium into the familiar brightness I remembered. It was like William had some control over the lighting somehow. With him being gone, it was like his hold on it was now released.

"Roxanne…" I said weakly, a smile forming on my face. "It's over."

I limped over to her. However, I didn't get far. My leg gave out from under me, making me lose my balance. I fell onto the floor on my stomach. I felt my consciousness slipping away slowly. I kept the smile on my face as it happened.

"Mihael!" I heard Roxanne call out. I didn't say anything as I felt myself slipping.

'At least my mother and Kyle are safe now,' I thought to myself. Then, everything went black.

Author's Note:

After what seemed like an eternity, the twenty-fourth chapter of Robotic Love is here! :D

I sincerely apologize for how long this took. This was the first fight sequence I've ever written as I've never done it before so I wanted to make sure it was done right. I hope I didn't fuck it up too badly.

As for what happened to Freddy, Chica, and Montgomery, don't worry. Their fates will be fully explained in the next chapter. I never had any plans on killing them off, so relax.

That's all for now. Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. Chapter Twenty-Five will hopefully not take as long as this one. All constructive criticism is appreciated and I will see you guys in the next one. Three more to go! :)
