"Are you saying there's another legendary Pokemon on its way?" Sid asked.
"Exactly!" The guy in the green trench coat said. "See, this creature fell from the sky, so it only makes sense that the lord of the sky would be coming to stop it."
"So are you helping us, or not?" Wally asked.
"Oh, I want to take this thing out, also I have help!" The guy said. "Meet my Pokemon!"
"None of the Pokeballs work right now." Flannery said.
"Ahh. Well, meet my jetpack!" The guy said.
"No electronics are working right now." Wally sighed.
"Meet my butterfly net?" The guy questioned.
"Not sure how it will help, but it will work." Audrey pointed out.
"Let's go!" The guy said. "I'm Mikey by the way."
Back with Brendan
"What do you mean he'll be dead old dad?" Brendan asked worriedly.
"He'll be swimming with the fishes." Archie said menacingly.
"What?" Brendan asked.
"Get in my way and I'll kill him." Archie sighed.
"Brendan! I've got the stone, and I brought help!" Tory said.
"Wait, dont!" Brendan exclaimed, but when he turned back around, Archie was gone.
"Brendan, it's okay." Tucker said. "Tory thinks this is another Deoxys."
"Another one?" Brendan asked worriedly.
"Well, the first one." Tory admitted. "But if it's true, then getting this to the main Deoxys will stop everything."
"Or make it worse." Brendan realized.
"We won't know unless we try." Tucker said.
"I just feel like we're not the only ones looking for this." Brendan said, thinking of his previous encounter.
Back with Ash
"Give it up, Jirachi isn't here, and I won't let you near Deoxys!" Ash said, unleashing another tendril, grabbing both of Diane's arms.
"Oh, I'm not here for either of them. I'm already what we need to fulfill our plan, I just needed a way to harness the power of Groudon without expiring." Diane said, walking towards Ash. "And these ones, come with some perks." Diane said with an evil smile, as sparks formed in her hand, clutching onto the aura tendril.
"AHHHHH!" Ash screamed out as he was electrocuted.
"It took a lot of research to find out the frequency needed for electricity to flow through the aura, but I felt it was a worthwhile choice." Diane said. "And once I am one with Groudon, my beauty will be restored!" Diane cackled to the unconscious Ash, leaving him on the rooftop.
Back with Wally and the others
"So you plan to catch Deoxys with that butterfly net?" Flannery asked.
"Don't be ridiculous, I plan on catching Rayquaza with it." Mikey said.
"Rayquaza!?" Wally said in shock. "That's a lofty goal."
"What do you think? I'm not able to catch it!" Mikey argued.
"Never said that, it's just an impressive goal to have." Wally said.
"Thanks, I hope to expand the sky with its help." Mikey said.
"Expand the sky?" Audrey whispered to Sid.
"Let's not bring up the problem with that, he's offering help." Sid whispered back.
"Everybody hold up." Wally said. "We're here."
The ground looked ahead to see the prime Deoxys changing its shape off in the distance.
"Do you think it knows we're here?" Sid asked, only for a Hyper Beam to go over their heads. "Never mind."
"Well, no point in hiding. Combusken use Fire Spin! Solrock use Flamethrower!" Flannery commanded.
"Trapinch use Bite! Cacturne use Pin Missile!"
"Blastoise use Hydro Pump!"
"Masquerain use Gust!"
The six attacks launched forward only for Deoxys Prime to change into a bulkier, rounder form, taking all the attacks without being hurt.
"Even all of our attacks combined weren't enough." Wally said in shock.
"We need more power." Flannery said.
"Its here!" Mikey said giddily, as something broke through the cloud barrier above the city.
"Everybody move!" Sid said, grabbing Audrey and running as Rayquaza flew right into the building.
Flannery's PoV
"Hey there, did you miss me?" Rafe asked.
"Rafe!" Flannery exclaimed. "Wait what happened?"
"We caught you and Wally, looks like we made it just in the nick of time too." Rafe said, as Tucker's Arcanine landed with Wally, Tucker, and Kathryn. Rebecca's Metagross landed with her, Tory, and Brendan while the remaining Pokemon landed via psychic.
"Where's Ash?" Brendan said.
"Some lady called Diane challenged him." Wally said.
"Team magma too?" Brendan said worriedly.
"Hi Brendan!" Mikey said.
"Really! Is every villain in Hoenn here?" Brendan exclaimed.
"Wait villain?!" Wally said in shock.
"Everyone meet Mikey, the Leader, founder, and sole member of the third villainous team of Hoenn, Team Sky." Brendan said with a sigh. "What are you even doing here?"
"That!" Mikey said excitedly, pointing up at Rayquaza.
"Of course." Brendan sighed. "One problem at a time, first things first, we need to decide wether we should give this to Deoxys Prime or not." Brendan said, holding up a gem. "There's a chance it will stop the invasion, but also a chance it could make it worse."
"All in favor of giving it to Deoxys?" Tory asked, raising his hand. Wally, Kathryn, and Rafe raised their hands.
"We should try ending things before they get worse." Wally said
"And those in favor of taking the gem and figuring out what it is first?" Brendan asked. Rebecca, Flannery, and Tucker raised their hands.
"If we find out what it is, we can determine if its what Deoxys Prime wants." Rebecca argued.
"Wait, its a tie, where's Mikey?" Brendan asked.
"RAYQUAZA I'M HERE!" Mikey shouted, running towards the dragon with his butterfly net.
"Never mind." Brendan sighed.
"I say give it to them." Ash said, being held up by Sid.
"Ash!" Brendan, Wally, and Flannery exclaimed.
"We found him passed out on the roof." Audrey said.
"Look, I'll take the gem over to Deoxys." Ash said, limping over and grabbing it. "If it goes wrong, get going." Ash said, grabbing onto the top tip of Lunatone as Pikachu leapt on his shoulder.
Flying through the air, looking at the chaos
"This is up there for the dumbest things I've ever done." Ash said. "I wish Charizard was here to help with this one."
"Pika." Pikachu said in agreement, their old friends speed and power would have been great here.
"Hey Deoxys!" Ash shouted. "Looking for this?"
Deoxys Prime looked up, seeing the gem in Ash's hand. The gem in his center glowed, and the one in Ash's arm glowed in response. The gem began to float out of Ash's hands, as a yellow and blue body formed around it, making a second Deoxys.
'Thank you Ash Ketchum.' A voice echoed out.
"You destroy the city, and then thank me?" Ash asked angrily.
'His intent was not to destroy the city, I sent out a distress signal, and he acted on the original signal.' The voice said. 'I never meant for this to happen, we will leave, I am sorry about this.'
"Wait can you at least free all the captives?" Ash asked.
'Of course.' The voice said calmly, as a horde of clones flew out.
Back at the docks
"So Flannery, I was curious if you'd like to come with us?" Rafe offered.
"Rafe, I'd like that but…." Flannery paused.
"Flannery wait." Ash said. "Look, I'm not great at this, and this isn't the best time, but if I don't say this now, I might never get the chance." Ash said. "It's just that I really like…". Ash was interrupted as Flannery kissed him.
"About time." Brendan said to Wally.
"I had money on Ash making the first move." Wally admitted, handing a five to Sid.
"I see you've made your choice." Rafe said. "Always know my offer stands for more training."
On Sid, Rafe, and Rebecca's train
"You never told Ash that Rafe has a boyfriend, did you?" Rebecca asked.
"Nope." Sid said with a smirk.
On our heroes train
"Next stop, Mauville City." Ash said. "I have a promise to keep."
