October was here. The campaign trail had hit the middle of its tenure.
Sunset was hard at work setting up her campaign rally. Twilight had gotten Sugarcube's Corner, mainly because Pinkie worked there and Pinkie had agreed to help her out in her campaign (granted she wasn't very happy that her two friends were feuding over this...)
So yeah there was that...

Remmington Park
Pixel Pizzaz was a pretty social person, she knew her way around most of the cliques in school. That was why Sunset chose her as her campaign manager.
So far, they have met up with tons of different people. Because Sunset had played the lead role in last year's school play and was planning on coming back this year for another one, she had secured the vote of the Drama and Art students, most of them anyway.
Twi had been on the play too last year and had stolen some votes from there as well.
At the same time, they were also in tight competition between each other and Gizmo Poindexter for a lot of the science students at the school.
Gizmo had easily swept the vote with the Computer Science kids, but things like Chemistry, Physics and Biology. That was divided between the three.
But it wasn't just those two in a tightly contested voting race.
Astro, Fleet Foot and Teddy Blitz were fighting for votes with a bunch of different sports teams. Indigo Wreath and Amethyst Star were fighting for the Art vote.
Yeah, it was a whole pool of competitions to win votes from certain clubs, teams, people, all that.
Sunset wanted to think about normal students as well. Close in on them and get extra votes from there as well. And that was simple.
Brand yourself as a friendly person, and make yourself likeable!
So this rally might be crucial for her...
"Thanks for helping me out, Sunburst," she patted her little brother on the head. The latter of whom had been asked to help her carry some paper plates.
She had decided to hold her rally at a park, a park she knew had a dirty pond, filled with a bunch of litter and such. So, it was a perfect opportunity to make a good impression by staging a clean-up party at the park as well.
She could spot a nice crowd in the distance and along with that, she saw people holding up signs that she knew were from her campaign.
Sunburst looked interested, "Wow, they're all here to cheer you on?"
"Well, I don't like to toot my own horn, but...mmm, yeah. They are," Sunset giggled, "This is gonna be fun."

(Unknown Location-Equestria)
Terri and Capper had been summoned by Discord; they had been requested to go see him in some forest land away from Canterlot City. Far up north actually.
Up until this point, Terri and Capper had stopped keeping an eye on Flash Sentry. They had delivered the message to him to report to the School roof. So, they didn't bother any further.
Terri had filled Capper in on how Sentry reacted. Needless to say, Capper was glad Terri didn't kill him or anything.
Discord had been waiting for them. Standing in an empty field alone, wearing his typical brown hood. Inviting them to progress forward.
"I have been expecting you two," Discord simply stated, "What is the status report on Mr. Sentry?"
"I sent him the memo," Terri said, albeit with a frustrated-looking face, "It's safe to bet he'll be there."
"Miss Terri, frustrated are we?" Discord turned around, his hood covering most of his face except his mouth, "We have been over this, have we not?"
"...Sir, permission to speak freely?" Terri frowned more.
"Granted."
"Are you sure about this guy? He took out two of our important generals and..." She became more rageful, "and...he..."
"I understand your frustrations, but that doesn't rule out the fact that Mr. Sentry is capable." Discord replied.
"HE'S A DANGER TO US!" Terri shouted, "HE'LL TURN ON US LIKE HE DID MY FATHER! SENTRY NEEDS TO BE KILLED!"
"Lower your voice, young lady. You must not let your emotions get in the way of what needs to be done," Discord sinisterly smirked, "Maybe...just maybe when we achieve our true goal, you can do with Sentry as you please. Beat him up, torture him, or slaughter him in cold blood. He won't be any use to us after the fact. But just know that it will be Grogar who wants Sentry on our side. So, if you kill Sentry now or anytime down the road, you'll have to deal with him. Not me. Would you want that?"
Terri gritted her teeth. Still, she was intimidated by the prospect of dealing with a disappointed Grogar. No matter how much she tried to hide it under her tough persona.
"Likewise, Mr. Dapperclaws, you know your role that night, right?"
Capper nodded, "Civilly talk to Sentry."
"And, if he fights back?" Discord continued.
"Then fight him back."
"Yes. But, it would also help if we turned more people against him in the city. And make sure he's miserable enough. If he's miserable, then we have a better chance of luring him in and turning him to our side." Discord moved on after that, informing the two about his escapades at the leader's summit.
"I have gotten in contact with Queen of this island. So, needless to say, we have another obstacle down for the long term. All I have to do is slowly develop a relationship with her. At least until I can marry her.
"What's the point of that?" Terri asked.
"If I marry her, I get close to her. Getting closer to her would make it easy to manipulate her. Which would grant us "the keys to the city" if you get my drift?" Discord smirked, "...And it would be kind of nice to have a Mrs. Discord around─Likewise, let's all be patient about our approach and we'll regroup by Friday. Hopefully with Sentry on board. Until then..."

(Lodestar High)
School had been relaxed in accommodation to the ten nominees. Which gave them time to campaign and allowed the students to support their candidate of choice.
There was more campaigning in the school as well.
Sunset had finished off her rally and had returned to school. So did a lot of the other nominees.
It was around lunchtime now. She had also dropped off Sunburst at his school before heading to Lodestar.
Anyway.
Just as she was entering the building, someone called out to her.
"Yo, Sunset!"
She recognized that voice, turning around she greeted Astro casually, "Hi!"
Yup, Sunset Shimmer's first crush. Heck, she'd been crushing on him since seventh grade. But, now that she had a relationship of her own and had become quite smitten with her partner. She had just wholly gotten over her crush.
The two caught up.
"I'll hand it to you, I was kind of trying to sneak my way into the Drama vote. Guess you got me there," He chuckled, "Anyway, how's your campaign going?"
"Is this you trying to sabotage it?" Sunset joked, "Or are you genuinely interested?"
"Aw, come on. We're friends, right? We can talk about each other's campaigns. I mean...I don't wanna toot my own horn but I'm making some significant strides right now. I got the basketball and swimming teams on my side and I snatched a vote or 2 from the football, soccer and hockey teams as well. Still, trying to close in on the rest of the teams."
"Well, I'm working my way through getting other people on my side as well. I have the drama kids, of course, then I got good with the Environment Club and the agriculture club. Right now, I'm trying to work through music wings and the science students."
"Sheesh, that's gotta be tough," Astro commented, "Science especially. Y'know, Gizmo's one of the most intelligent people I know. Along with Twilight. I'm assuming they're fighting for that section of the school as well?"
Sunset sighed, "Yeah...But there's no way I'm gonna lose!"
The two entered the building and continued conversing.
"Anyway, what about any Campaign Rallies?" Astro asked, "I had the first day, you?"
"Just this morning actually," Sunset replied, looking pretty proud of herself, "It was quite productive if I do say so myself."
"Really, aw man. If I'd known I would've made an appearance, heck I'd endorse you," He chuckled, that was just a light-hearted joke. And Sunset knew.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I don't work with the enemy, the enemy works for me,"
"You mean, you hope the enemy gets to work for you, right?" Astro joked.
"Ah, shaddap," Sunset chuckled, giving him a playful jab. A common gesture of her. "The Sunset Jab" if you will...
Astro got a text from his phone, "Oh, but uh speaking of campaigns, I gotta meet up with the campaign manager. But still, it was nice talking with you." He hurried off, waving goodbye to attend to his business.
"Watch your back Borealis!" Sunset playfully exclaimed, "Cause this election is mine."
She let out a relaxed sigh and continued. Man, she felt really good about herself. 14-year-old Sunset would've cracked under pressure talking to Astro. But she was really glad she got over her crush on him. Being friends with him was a lot more beneficial than having a crush in addition to crippling anxiety to talk to him.
She used to be jealous of Astro's girlfriend. Surprise, surprise, Astro's GF had also been Spitfire's friend as well. So, wasn't that fun for a 7th-grade Sunset Shimmer? She had a crush on a guy and her sister's friend swoops in and asks him out...
Then again, Sunset never really made a move. So, she kinda gets some slack for that...
But speaking of relationships...
She dialled Rover's number. To which he picked up shortly after...
"Hey."
##Sup, here to thank me for coming to your rally?## He sounded goofy, ##I know, I'm pretty awesome...##
Sunset rolled her eyes and giggled, "No, I just wanted to talk. But...thank you for showing up," She blushed and smiled warmly, "That really meant a lot."
##No problem, just wanna support my candidate, that's all.##
"Yeah, but seriously, listen. Um, I know I wanted you to meet my parents and all. And last week the whole campaign prep came up so I ended up being a little busy. Uh, so I was wondering if Sunday was good for you? Saturday, me and my friends are heading for the beach, so it won't be possible then."

(StarGrove)
"S-S-S-S-Sunday?" Rover sounded nervous now, seemingly she didn't forget at all, "Uh...uh..."
He and Lycia were in a booth enjoying lunch, Rover didn't make an effort to disguise himself. Because, well y'know. He wants to be called out so his relationship with Sunset could end for good.
##Yeah, are you free or not?##
Lycia giggled, she wanted to say something. But she wanted to see where this also went.
"I...I can't," Rover hastily lied, "I...I have a family...relatives, RELATIVES! I have relatives coming from out of town and I'm gonna be seeing them this weekend, all day. I won't be able to make it."
##Oh, well that's okay. What about next week?##
"Heh...uh, will see. Talk to you later."
##Okay, can we talk after school?##
"For sure!" He then hung up, letting out a sigh of relief as he managed to dodge another week, "I gotta get this girl out of my life, and fast..."
"Well, I for one have never seen you so jittery before," Lycia then thought of a joke she thought was funny, "Hey, what if you started a harem, but instead the bitch is more like a...a maid or something. Always prancing around and what not?" She stuck out her tongue thereafter like a silly person.
Rover shook his head, but chuckled, "Well, as interesting and tempting as that sounds. Uh...well, how do you say: I. Don't. Like. Her.; you get my drift?"
"Aw, I was really hoping to have a maid around the house one day," Lycia giggled, "Y'know, have her on a leash too, just to keep her in line."
Again, Rover sighed. I mean, he was an asshole, like a real piece of shit kind of an asshole. But compared to Lycia, he seemed to have a relatively normal sense of humour.
Then again, she did tell him the first day they went out: "I'm not like other girls"
Guess he was right in that regard...

Frostbite Village
It was mostly spring times there in this part of the Canadian Territories. I mean, the Frostbite monster had perished nearly a year ago now. So, yeah things had been relatively peaceful.
Flash couldn't have been too sure, he had gotten sleep. But even so, he couldn't shake off this feeling of paranoia...
He was still in touch with Haruki's family. And maybe, just maybe they could give him some advice.
He had to try and go to all angles from here. Given that he was barred from School anyway. If he felt the need, he might consider the Dragon Lands.
He sat with Haruki's Grandparents. They had been sitting there for almost 30 minutes.
The villagers were surprised Flash had made his return to the village. But they were more surprised at how...different he sounded as well.
Back then, when he was on the hunt for his second Dragon Ball. The teenager was an impulsive, impatient hot head. Now...he had seemingly become a little quieter, and quite frankly he looked very uncertain.
"We are familiar with this Tirek monster you speak of," Haruki's grandfather stated, "But only because you told us about him, and his two conspirators. Then again, we are familiar with the Dreamscape Virus, but even so, that virus had been wiped out for hundreds of years."
"There was a case," Flash replied, "A girl, Starlight Glimmer. She doesn't have it anymore, and a part of me thinks that I may have gotten it from her when─"
"You would've been in a permanent sleeping state then," Haruki's grandmother replied.
"Well..." Flash sighed and got up, "I don't know man, this shit has been eating me from the inside and out, I just...I just have this bad feeling something is gonna happen that night! And...you guys have helped me before, I thought that...Maybe you could give me some insight"
"Flash, I'm gonna be honest. It feels like you're just telling us about how bad your dream was...uh no offence," Haruki chimed in.
"I know this sounds like it came out of some fairy tale but what if-what if that stuff really does happen. They come back─They try to lure me into joining them─They...They..." He gritted his teeth and blushed a little, mumbling to himself, "Hurt Sunset..."
"Wait, what was that last part?" Haruki asked.
"n-NOTHING! Nothing...it was nothing, but the point still stands!"
"Well, then the simple answer would be not to create these "what-if" scenarios in your head," Haruki's mom commented, "Relax, take things easy."
Flash put his head down and frowned, "I mean...I guess..."
"Say, Sentry have you ever considered...just getting away from Canterlot city," Haruki's father asked, "Like uh─taking a vacation! Yeah, that. Have you ever considered it? It might be why you've been so stressed and why you've been so invested in this nightmare of yours."
That was exactly the same thing Flash's grandfather Cosmo had advised him to do, and again he left him that ultimatum until the end of October. But I guess what Cosmo wanted was for Flash to leave Canterlot entirely, not take an extended break.
"I mean...yeah sometimes but."
"Then go ahead," Haruki commented, "Come on, there's more to see than just one city. Take a breather and go...go get some culture or something."
Haruki's grandmother patted Flash on the head, "I hear Barcelona is nice this time of year."
Flash sighed, this was probably a wake-up call for him to actually think about the bigger picture. But...
it wouldn't hurt to get another professional opinion.
"Alright...I'll think about it," Flash got up, "But, I have to get going now."
"You're always welcome to come back, Mr. Sentry," Haruki's grandfather warmly replied. Seeing him out the door,
