Warning: This story is my first and English is not my first language.

Waking up groggily after I decided to take a rest, I look up to see that it's a couple hours after midnight.

I take a deep breath as I stand up and begin freshening up, using some of the water I had created before sleeping to wash my face while I contemplate my next steps.

I already know most of what I want to do for the next year, just not what comes first.

I'm planning to head to Menagerie as soon as possible to establish it as my domain as well as fix up the survivability issue there.

If I had to guess, I'll probably hop on there and stay for 3 months to make sure everything runs smoothly, before electing someone there to act in my stead while I head over to Mistral to check things out there.

I'm not too optimistic though. From what I can see, Mistral may actually be the worst out of all of the kingdoms, not really counting Mantle since it's just a previous city for Atlas.

I mean, not only does it have the highest Huntsmen and Huntresses death rates in all of the 4 kingdoms, which is unusually high by the way I'll have to check on that once I'm there, but Mistral also has the biggest black market in the entire 4 kingdoms, having multiple gang and crime families in every nook and cranny, just sitting there hiding.

Assassins, Dealers, Smugglers, just about everything you'd expect from the biggest black market in the world.

Nevertheless, I'll check things out there before going to Atlas.

I wanted to keep Atlas for last, but that'd just be wasting time considering Atlas is the nearest kingdom to Mistral. At least the nearest to the capital since Vale is close to the very outer edge of Mistral.

Atlas is probably the least dumb kingdom in all of the 4 kingdoms, minus their council full of old buffoons as well as the Schnee company.

Which barely leaves anything to judge other than the army and huntsmen academy, which actually are not terrible.

Considering how Atlas decided to build an army despite the 4 kingdoms agreeing not to make armies, I actually think it's the smartest out of all 4.

Not everyone has the aptitude and dedication to be a huntsman or huntress. Instead, putting them into the ranks of an army with tactical thinking, advanced weaponry, strategy beyond simple plans made on the fly, their chances against the grimm are a lot greater than every other kingdom when it comes to surviving against the grimm.

They don't just have the huntsmen and huntresses to fight against the Grimm, but also their army that can also double down as police enforcement and law enforcers.

Now if they could just remove that council of idiots that want nothing other than expanding their own pockets, as well as replacing Jacques Schnee with someone who actually wants progress for mankind and does not run their company like an absolute idiot, we'd all be golden and have the perfect kingdom.

Except how it's always winter there. God(me) I hate snow.

Though that can be fixed quite easily with a little weather manipulation, not that I'd do it considering how changing an entire climate simply because I do not like the cold would be ridiculous even for me.

Moving on, I will probably go to Vacuo after that. I'm not really sure if there's much there after how they were sucked dry from that dust company in Mistral. Another one of Mistral's corrupted acts, draining dry a rich country than leaving it in the dust, and not the useful kind.

That'd be 3 months in Menagerie, a month in each kingdom other than vale, and then 6 months to use whatever knowledge I've managed to gather to do whatever I want. Probably return to Menagerie and continue growing it while wiping out all of the extremely powerful Grimm that are in Menagerie so that I can ensure it's stability there.

While I continued my train of thought, I'd begun making Aura constructs and imbuing my body with aura as a way to train my body and instill those abilities into my muscle memory.

I continued making aura constructs for a couple hours, before returning to Junior's to ask about my documents and prepare to head off to Menagerie.

Time to pay a little visit to my new domain.

1 Week Time skip, outskirts of Menagerie, Aurous.

Flying high above the empty lands of Menagerie, Aurous can be seen staring at the continent with a frown.

...

I did not expect the lands in Menagerie to be as infertile as they are right now. I expected that they simply were somewhat fertile, however the Grimm did not allow agriculture whatsoever.

That is not the case here. The lands are almost completely infertile, with patches of fertile land here and there monopolized by Grimm or animals.

While animals are not exactly that tough to deal with for the Faunus, the oppression that they all feel usually leads Grimm to surprise attack them while fighting animals, which leads to more death for the Faunus.

It's quite disgusting how this is the 'repayment' that the Faunus got after the war.

Not that it matters, after I'm done here this will be the most safe and sought out kingdom in the world.

Racial abilities do not show on Personal Sheets. This is true for all races in my old world.

Us Aarakocra for example have never seen our flight or talons mentioned as weapons or movement abilities in our Personal Sheets before.

Dragonborn are not shown their breath attacks in their sheets.

Elves are not shown their affinity for magic and or darkvision in their sheets.

So on, so forth.

These 'Racial Abilities' come ingrained in our own minds and instincts.

No non-crippled dragonborn does not know how to instinctively use their dragonbreath.

No Aarakocra does not know how to use their wings to fly high above the clouds.

Racial abilities can be utilized as soon as a person has the right capabilities to use them, like an Aarakocra gaining matured wings that can hold their weight.

From young, I had a racial ability that none else had in my kind.

At first, it was quite weird for me when I saw people deal with minor inconveniences, such as a bird pooping on them, tripping on a rock, or a stray ball from children playing hitting their face.

I mean, couldn't they just control it so that they don't have unlucky accidents?

At least, that was until I asked a person why they didn't do that, and they looked at me as if I was crazy.

Later, when I had asked what all of the racial abilities of Aarakocra are, I had understood.

I was different.

I could make small effects that affect the world minorly.

Making sure nothing hits or trips me while I walk, little 'accidents' happening to children who try to make fun of me or bully me for my differences, finding coins on the side of the street a lot more often.

Small effects like those were quite common in my day to day life.

Every year though, there was a chance something big happened.

When I was 6, I climbed a tree and sat on a branch. My wings were still not developed yet unlike other kids, my larger size made it so my wings could not handle my weight just yet.

The branch had cracked and fell, with me in tow.

As I was falling, I had tears gather in my eyes as I hoped for any miracle to happen to save me.

Just as I prayed, a miracle did happen.

A huge gust of wind had appeared from under me, knocking me into the air just before I hit the ground, before I slowly glided to the ground.

That was the day I unlocked my Aerokinesis.

Another time where I was fighting a giant demonic abomination with my group, and as I was trying to deliver the last attack in desperation, sending as many of my wind spears as I could to kill the damn thing, my wind spears became supercharged with lightning, electrocuting the creature and ultimately killing it.

That was the time I unlocked my Lightning Domain.

Alasto called it my 'plot armor', but I thought differently.

These things happened once a year at most, and whenever they did, I'd always get a feeling inside of me that was almost saying that I had just done something and needed to 'recharge'.

Ever since I had unlocked my Aura, I had felt a lot more in tune with this 'racial ability' of mine.

So much so that I think I've realized what it is…

.

..

..

I am a god.

Okay this time I don't mean it narcissistically, like I'm actually a god or demigod or something.

As soon as that thought crossed my mind, my Personal Sheet had appeared.

Confirming Racial Identification. ? (Awakened, Enhanced) has been changed to Demi-God (Small Divine Seed)

Which I'd like to mention, freaked me out extremely.

The System NEVER speaks. Not to me, not to my friends and family, not to ANYONE.

As far as I'm aware, the system is merely an ability that everyone has (or had in my world) that allows you to see your own statistics.

The voice I had heard was robotic, slightly feminine, and in my head.

I was very concerned, rightfully so, but decided to check out my status anyways.

Aurous Revi

It seems I was right. I have divinity in me.

I take a moment to think in silence, unsure what this means exactly...

...Before promptly laughing loudly as I use my wind to stop me from falling after my wings give out.

"I told them all! I was a god! They did not believe me. They called me arrogant. They called me a liar. Yet look at this. Does it lie? The lines do not lie!"

I yelled out to the world. Knowing only animals and Grimm are anywhere near me in the sky.

As I looked at the sheet again, I saw that some of my Minor Miracles had been already used.

The week should end today, which means that these were most likely used when I was in Vale.

I guess it was kind of lucky that Neo was watching me when I took down those thugs and picked up an interest in me, as well as it being lucky that Neo was at Junior's when I had gone there, which allowed me to get Aura.

I see. I believe I understand what Plot armor is now. Thank you for your surprising wisdom, Alasto.

Well, it seems that with 2 major miracles with me instead of one, my plans can progress a lot faster than I had expected.

Raising my arms as I hold them together and concentrate, I will the world to grant me my wish as I desire for this nearby land to be filled with fertility, for trees bearing fruit to grow to feed my people, springs bearing freshwater to quench their thirst, and for natural defenses against the Grimm and Enemies to protect my people from ruin.

I feel the world move and bend to my will as I open my eyes and watch with fascination as the land before me comes to life. Trees as tall as the sky growing, plants and fruit appearing near the ground and on the trees. Springs appearing in the grounds and rivers flowing inside vast forests. I can even feel Radiant energy from the trees which should ward off and kill weaker Grimm and weaken bigger stronger ones. Lands move and tectonic plates quake, hills and mountains appear as they block out nearby lands from simply entering the forests, leaving only a few entrances to easily enter.

In the middle of all of these forests is a large plot of land still empty, but now with green grass and small trees occupying it.

I watch my Sheet as it shows one of my Major miracles gone, lowering the values to 1/2 left for this year.

I float towards the empty patch of land, seeing that it is large enough to house the thousands of faunus that inhabit Menagerie as well as the future faunus that will come once they hear of this.

I begin channeling my second major miracle as I once again place my hands together and concentrate.

This time, I wish for housing for my people to live in. Firm, sturdy, and efficient so that they can live comfortably in their new homes. I wish for areas to feed livestock, areas to farm and grow agriculture, areas to process grown products and turn them into food and consumer goods. I dislike the use of dust in day to day life, and thus I use the same methods the empire had in my old world to open a leyline from the world to this city and supply it with the energy needed for its growth and prosperity. Lastly, I wish for a temple with a statue of my old form, an Aarakocra, to be there with writing engraved inside of it explaining my rules and policies for my new followers.

I open my eyes once again to watch as buildings grow from the ground, made of wood, stone, and even some metals.

At the very middle of the land, a temple sits upon elevated ground with a statue resembling me standing atop it, watching over the land with a glowing blade in hand.

Using a few minor miracles, I send out a pack of Eagles and a familiar to guide the Faunus safely into this new city.

After doing that, I float into my temple as I begin reading the texts engraved into my walls.

Horus… The alias I had decided to put for my godly identity to allow me to walk among the mortals without hiding.

It's close enough to my name that I do not consider it hiding myself, yet different enough that the stupidity of this world would not let them make the connection.

I mean, Aurous and Horus. Literally a single letter makes up the only different sound.

As I read my texts, I see that everything I had asked for is here.

Some of my rules are quite average, only expected from a god.

Things like "Do not fight among yourselves, lest you destroy yourselves out of foolishness." and "Do not quarrel with humans unprovoked, for the Faunus are the ones who will end the cycle of hatred."

I'm sure some Faunus will be quite bitter about that part, but I go on ahead to explain why we must not continue this foolish cycle of hatred, pointing at the grimm as our real enemies while also subtly saying that Faunus are superior to humans. Subtle enough that Humans might overlook it, but Faunus would understand it.

I am not so idiotic to hope that only Faunus will worship me, I have vowed that every single person in the world would know of me, not every single faunus.

I will first have to pick the best ones, and as time goes on I will continue taking more and more humans into my…

Wait, what even is this? Am I a religion or a cult? I guess religion is probably the closest to what this is considering I am not asking for human sacrifices or virgins.

Urgh… Disgusting.

I continue looking over the city to make sure everything is in order, even though I already know it is considering I did it, of course.

As I think about perhaps getting some farm animals into the livestock pens here I feel my familiar alert me of the arrival of the Eagles as well as a large group of Faunus carefully entering the city.

I immediately fly towards where they are with glee, not forgetting to cast invisibility on myself while also blocking any sounds or smells from leaving a small sphere of wind around me. I also make sure to stay above them, in case any of them have Aura and an affinity to Extrasensory Perception and feel me staring at them.

Doing that will most likely make them think I'm a god looking down towards them.

I was proven right when I saw a couple of them staring up, not directly at me, but straight up, confused at not seeing anything before I made my familiar fly in front of their vision and lead them towards my temple.

As they follow it all the way into the middle of the city and into my temple, the familiar lands right above the text that explains a few things as well as my policies as a god.

The backstory I had decided to go with for this world was that I had been asleep for a long time after I had created the Faunus, and had been unable to awaken until recently, where I had found out about the mistreatment of my people and had been angry at the humans for what they have done.

I had decided that I would directly interfere as I was the only god remaining in the world (something I had checked multiple times.) and thus was not stopped from directly interfering with my people and saving them.

I had asked my people to forgive me for not being able to guide and protect them for so long, and wished for them to take this city as an apology for abandoning them for so long, stating that I was supplying the city itself with energy from the world and that they do not need dust as an energy source to keep living.

I also stated that the wood in the trees is made of "Sacred Spruce", which is what I decided to name the wood infused with Radiant power, and explained how it would kill and intimidate weaker grimm (while subtly putting a somewhat strong grimm as one of the 'weaker' grimm to flex) and weaken stronger grimm immensely if within range of the wood.

One of the leaders of the group of Faunus steps up towards my Familiar as he bows down.

Lvl. 5 | Panther Faunus | Ghira Belladonna

Chieftain of Menagerie

He's a tall, muscular Panther faunus with black hair, a thick beard and yellow eyes. He's wearing black boots as well as a cloak hiding his entire body with a Shoulder Guard on each shoulder.

Oh isn't he related to Blake? The cat girl I had met back at the bookstore. A small world huh.

As he bows, he begins speaking towards my familiar.

"I do not mean to offend you Noble Eagle, however, are you Lord Horus by any chance?"

I chuckle as my familiar shakes its head and points upwards to my statue, as I make the statue's eyes glow slightly and a sound of thunder echoes from outside of the temple making everyone flinch.

Ooh, I forgot about their enhanced senses. My bad.

"I see, I apologize if I have offended you, Lord Horus. I merely wish to ask why you had been away for so long and why you returned just now." He bows once again, the people behind him following suit.

I order my familiar to screech and point to the line engraved that mentions my long sleep, as well as pointing towards the part mentioning other gods and how I was forced to sleep for a long period of time. After that, it points to the part of having woken up just recently.

"I see… How recent exactly if I may ask?" He asks once again.

I like this man. He does not exactly trust me right away and asks the exact time I had woken up to see if I had let the Faunus suffer for an extended period of time or not. I think I will make him the ruler of Menagerie under me.

My familiar blankly stares at him for a few seconds, before it waves its wing and 7 orbs of wind appear in front of it.

"7 months?" One of the people in the back asked.

My bird shakes its head.

"7 weeks?" Another one asks with surprise.

My bird shakes its head once again.

"7 days?" Ghira himself asks, this time with his eyes widened.

My bird nods its head as the wind orbs dissipate. I woke up in this world 7-8 days ago.

The crowd cries out in surprise, many of them shocked at how recent this was.

"Does that mean you had built this entire place in one week?"

The bird shakes its head once again, as I summon a single wind orb in front of them all.

"One day?!" One shouts out.

My bird shakes its head, this time however, no one cries out anything, all stunned into silence.

The silence lasted for a few minutes, before Ghira spoke once again.

"One hour…?"

My bird nodded as the wind orb dispersed.

This time, no shouts of surprise or yelling ensued.

Instead, silence enveloped the temple, the only sound being the ruffling wind against the eagle's feathers.

Which I did not at all cause intentionally. Nope.

After a few minutes of silence, Ghira had gulped and composed himself, the others behind him also doing the same, albeit a lot slower.

"Then… What is your plan for us, Lord Horus?" He speaks out once again, this time with a lot more respect in his voice.

My familiar cries out, pointing to the parts where I offer the city to them as an apology and promise to guide them as long as they accept and worship me, as well as gifting them prosperity and progress.

After they seemingly finish reading those parts, I use Create Food and Water a couple times all over the temple, making baskets full of fresh fruit, vegetables and water appear on the wooden tables, while also using a minor miracle to make the fruit and vegetables permanently fresh and keeping it and the water permanent. I also sprayed a little of my dust of deliciousness into the food.

A little known fact about how Dust of Deliciousness works, it basically brings out the absolute maximum taste potential that a food can have depending on its quality, freshness, and the way it was made. Because Create Food and Water is magic, it basically allows it to have a taste beyond any fresh products one can make.

The Faunus all gasp in awe and some of them even tear up at seeing fresh fruits and vegetables, something that is no doubt a delicacy in Menagerie, where I believe meat, fish and small plants like beans and mushrooms being the most common food.

My familiar waves its wings towards the food, as if inviting them to eat as I watch them all bow to it deeply, before running off to eat.

Looking at Ghira, I see him smiling towards his kin instead of rushing to go eat with them, looking as if he has aged 10 years younger.

What a good man. Working so hard to keep his people out of harm and happy, yet being forced into these unfortunate circumstances.

He looks towards my familiar and goes to speak with it again.

"If I may ask, will you do anything about the brethren of ours stuck in that torturous labor in the Schnee companies and Atlas?" He asks with hope in his voice.

I make a show of the wind becoming intense around my familiar as everyone looks towards it, waiting for an answer.

Thunder angrily ensues in the outside of my temple as my familiar nods firmly towards Ghira, making him let out a sigh in relief and bow once again.

"Do you approve of what the current white fang is doing in all of the kingdoms?" He asks, this time with a lot of worry in his voice, probably because he's the founder of White Fang.

My familiar shakes his head and points towards the rule talking about not fighting humans unprovoked.

"I see… What will you do to them then?" He asks with a worried tone.

My bird stays silent, instead a shape of a few people with weapons appear in front of Ghira, before they suddenly float off the ground and violently fly towards another shape that oddly looks like the continent of Menagerie.

"You are going to… Kidnap the White Fang members and bring them back to Menagerie…?" He asks me in disbelief in his voice.

My familiar nods as the sound of laughing echoes in the temple.

All of the Faunus in the temple look around to see who laughed, before all of them realize that it must have been the sound of me laughing.

"We are blessed to hear Lord Horus's laugh!" One of them yells out, as the rest join him as well in praising and thanking me for my 'gift'.

I deadpan towards all of them with unimpressed eyes. The only reason they heard me laugh was that I had forgotten to keep the sound inside of my air bubble while speaking to all of them.

Ghira turns around and smiles apologetically towards my familiar, which reflects my own deadpan towards everyone present as they all kneel towards it.

Ghira continues asking me a few questions for a while, things like if I had any policies on how I should be worshiped, and any laws for Faunus I want to implement.

I take this time to take out a Silver crown and place it on Ghira's head in a dramatic way with the wind, shocking him and everyone else as he understands what I am implying right away and profusely thanks me.

Haha, Sucker. I placed all of the responsibilities on you, all I gotta do now is simply watch as you handle everything and give my input if needed.

A few moments later however, and suddenly all of the Faunus who previously did not have Aura suddenly erupt in different colors as they unlock their Auras, shocking even me since I didn't even know that the fuck just happened.

I quickly realize what happened though, the Dust of Deliciousness is a magical item, and despite it not having enough magic to give these people magic just from eating it, it may have kickstarted a part of their soul that decided to unlock their Aura since there's no magic.

Wow, now all of them are looking at me in shock as if I did this. Which I did, but I didn't even mean to.

Actually, I totally meant to do that, mhm, yep, I'm a genius.

My eagle does not betray my shocked face, instead simply staring at them as if whatever I just did was not extremely insane.

Ghira steps up once again with exasperation on his face.

"May I ask what you just did, Lord Horus?" He asks hesitantly.

I use the wind to pick up some of the fruit and float it in front of him.

"The fruit can unlock Aura? That's insane!" One particularly elder man yells out in shock, before coughing with an embarrassed blush as everyone stares at him.

"What he meant was we thank you for this gift, Lord Horus. We will now gather all of our Kin and send out people to gather the Faunus in other kingdoms and bring them here." He bows to me deeply, with everyone else doing so as well without hesitation, and then walks out of the temple to start working.

I place the fruit back in their place, rubbing my temples in exasperation as now I probably will have to keep supplying them with some of the fruit every now and then so that no questions are asked.

I guess about once every 3 months should be fine. I know how to make Dust of Deliciousness, it's just a bitch and a half to find the resources for it.

I send out the pack of eagles that brought them here to guide them out and back so they don't get lost.

I leave my invisibility and glide down to the ground once they are gone, contemplating.

I think that went pretty well. By the end there the Faunus were almost fanatical with how much they believed in me.

To be fair though, these Faunus have been looking for any hope for so long now that when a person who has the power of a god and can create a safe haven as large and protected as this one in under an hour comes and offers them home, food, and protection in exchange of following a few simple rules that don't affect them too much as well as worshiping him… Well… you can see why they would jump on board without hesitation and with extreme fanaticism.

Now I have to plan how I'm going to break out all of the Faunus laborers out of the illegal businesses like the Schnee company and bring them here in 1 fell swoop. I was thinking of just going and gathering them all with my wind and taking them to Menagerie.

Not only is this a horrible plan since I would not be able to take all of them at the same time, so companies would be able to lock away the ones I leave behind so that they are not taken away like the rest.

But ALSO I cannot move at my top speed while carrying people with me with my wind since they cannot handle the air resistance and inertia of traveling at such high speeds like I can, by the time I reach Menagerie all that would be left is a giant pile of blood and gore.

Well, it's not like I have to do this immediately. My people can wait a little more before I come and save them, I need a better plan for now.

Now, what's my next course of action?

I don't know why I've started hating myself and starting to write 3 hours late and then writing 2k extra words than my usual, but I guess 5k words is now my usual. I hope everyone can forgive me for a lot of the made up shit I've made in my fan fiction, I understand that most of this is not canon and might not align with actual canon facts, but with canon giving so little information, I'm forced to change these things up. Once again I'm very very sorry.

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and if you have any thoughts please feel free to share them by writing a review.

See you all later!
