A notification appeared at the top of his phone screen. He tapped on it without a second thought.

Old Man Major: hey Ijin.

He smiled as he saw multiple icons become active, the men tuning in as they waited for his answer.

With a sly grin, he sent the video to the group chat, already looking forward to messing with them. As soon as the video was sent, he proceeded as if he hadn't just sent them the clip Seokju had sent him. The same clip from the security cameras that captured him running into the courtyard with the mama bear hot on his heels.

Ijin: it was fun.

My team won after I was the last one left.

He could already tell that he was starting to annoy them with the way he wasn't acknowledging the fact that there was a video of him being chased by a full-grown bear.

The smile on his face got a little bit wider when his phone started to vibrate from the incoming video call that the Major started.

The moment he answered the call, his phone slightly lagged as multiple people joined the call, all of them looking dumbfounded as he tried his best to hide his smile.

"You can't send something like that and pretend it didn't happen!" Han-Gyeol nearly screamed into the microphone, his voice breaking up slightly with the intensity of his voice.

He let a smile appear on his face.

That only seemed to make them a little bit more upset.

"Ijin you are so lucky I love you."

"Fuck that! I'm strangling you first chance I get!"

Chuckles fell out of his mouth as his irate teammates continued to scold him.

"Its not funny Ijin!"

"If this is what its like to have kids. I don't want any," Day-Hyun's defeated comment made him snort.

"You little gremlin."

He let out a proper laugh at that," Thank you." He kept his face in view of the camera, letting Gwangsik and the others see his grin.

The Major let out a groan as he ran his hand down his face," Oh lord, they taught him sarcasm."

Fortunately, after a few months of hanging out with Jaehyung and Hyeokjin, he had gotten better at bantering with one another.

"Despite the age gap, I'm sure you can learn too."

The reaction was immediate.

They howled.

"He just called you old!"

"They grow up so fast!'

"I'm just 34 dammit! I'm not even old enough to be a father!"

Ijin had a smile on his face as he casually said," Who knows what you were doing when you were 15 sir."

As he predicted, the Major turned a bright red. This time, Ijin laughed freely with the men.

There was a fifteen-year gap between the two of them, a fact that the other men liked to point out as they jokingly called the Major Ijin's father.

Of course, Ijin went along with it.

The Major ran his hand down his red face, a smile tugging at his lips as he said, "Ijin you absolute traitor."

He just laughed.
