A/N: I made Wookie talk look like this, "wuihdaiuhopdhwiopoihdw" because I can. L + ratio
When Vincent woke there was no light, just emptiness. He felt cramped, boxed in like a fish. He barely had enough room to turn. It was quiet, save for his short exhales and inhales of breath. His eyes searched frantically for any sort of light but could only find complete darkness.
He felt himself begin to panic, 'This is hell isn't it?'. His first thoughts were along the lines of thinking he was in the afterlife. He frets, trying to move but only able to come in contact with invisible walls. He begins to think he is trapped in some sort of box. He tries to come up with an idea of what could be happening. Just moments prior he had remembered getting ice cream with his friends, and it plays like a flashback in his head;
Lynda was asking something but he couldn't remember what it was, he didn't even think she finished asking the question. He was driving and their car was hit, it had tipped over, and there were screams but he couldn't remember who they came from. He felt like a passenger in his own body watching gravity flip as the car tumbled. It had happened so suddenly, too quick to react too. The back of the car was hit first and he vaguely remembered some of his friends flying out. Then he blacked out only to awaken dangling upside down, surrounded by his friend's sleeping faces covered in red, blue and red lights blinding him, before nothing.
He thinks if he was still alive then it was possible he may have been kidnapped, or something much worse. He's nervous and his breathing is quick. Surely, if he was dead then his friends probably were as well.
"Lynda? Omar? Guys?" His voice comes out higher pitched than he remembered.
He is met with a brief silence until a loud growl (that mainly sounded like a gurgle) responded, muffled but close. Vincent pauses and almost shits his pants, 'What the hell was that.'
The perpetrator of the growl seems to think the same thing, as the growls get louder and seemingly panicked. Vincent becomes quiet, scared he may have disrupted a beast of some sort. He hears loud banging and the walls begin vibrating. He begins clenching his ass cheeks in terror. He starts praying to whatever god above to spare him from the creature making these noises. Perhaps it was a creature of hell he had awoken seeing as he may have been dead.
It goes quiet for a brief moment. For what felt like an eternity but only must have been a minute or two, Vincent decides the coast is clear and it's time to escape his dark prison. He feels for a wall and begins kicking with all his might but to his dismay did nothing and instead hurt him more than the wall. He bites his lips anxiously thinking of another idea before the light floods in from above and the top of his box is ripped off.
There, he and another creature are staring at each other absolutely appalled at what they were seeing. A roar comes from the creature and Vincent lets out a high-pitched scream. The creature retreats immediately and they both go back to hiding in their respective boxes.
A moment of silence passes over the two before they both peak at the same time. The same thing happens again, both let out a scream before diving back undercover. Now that they finally had light in their boxes they were both given the chance to actually see and each let out another, final, scream for the same reason.
They had finally taken in their appearance. Vincent had green skin and a small, sickly, skinny, frame wearing a tattered brown robe. The person across from him was no better, now realizing they were covered in fur. Both of them had rope secured around their arms making movement limited.
The creature slowly stands up staring at Vincent confusingly and yelling, "*(#hiur3hu3hiuodwjiowd!"
Vincent pauses, standing up in awe, "Boy what the hell boy."
The furry creature breaks free of its binds and examines itself, "Wuiwajidsj? Wauhsdhwjijio! IWoiasjdoij4r839yh0u-r48u9h3o3de9uhow3ed2ui9ho3e2uihop..."
To Vincent, it sounded like growls but for some reason was completely comprehensible. The creature begins babbling about nonsense mentioning something about Star Wars as Vincent stared confusingly.
It stares at Vincent accusingly before attempting to explain itself, "Oifejepj?...WJJidjaowdij!"
"Lynda? You're...Lynda?" Vincent points gesturing at her.
"UWhdoiahwodhj! Wudhwoad.." Lynda stares at Vincent, scrutinizing him with a look of disgust.
"Oh god...Why am I green?" Vincent sobs out.
Lynda shakes her head desparingly and makes a sad noise, "983rrhu9io3uibdwui."
Vincent stares blankly, "I can understand you too...weird."
Lynda questions tilting her head, "Pjfpkdpodwk?"
"THAT'S RACIST! But yea, probably?" Vincent shrugs rubbing the back of his neck anxiously. "Where the hell are we?"
They look around at their surroundings. The room they were in was dimly lit with only one flickering light above them. The walls were metal with rusty spiral stairs leading up to a metal door. A couple of wooden craters similar to the ones they had been in were scattered along the floor. A vent was in the corner of the room and rusty pipes leading to various places were visible on the wall. It was cold and silent save for the both of them.
"Wiudahoiwdhjwj." Lynda says bluntly.
"Honestly? Yea. We probably were kidnapped, I mean we were tied up and stuffed into boxes. Can you untie me?"
She steps out of the box using her sharp claws and Wookie strength to unbind Vincent, "IWOIHJDOIJI!I!"
Vincent sighs, "Stupid Wookie. Anyways what now?"
"87gutip4rb2r3492uphg7...98e239i8he22e98yh" Lynda begins walking towards the stairs.
"...How will we escape though?" Vincent vaults over the box he was in.
"weuidhawoid." She shrugs and spots the stairs quickly walking up them.
He quickly follows after her and repeats what she said, "You don't know...".
Lynda attempts to open the door but is stopped before she can rip it open, "IJHWdoijawoidjopjwokw."
"It's locked, I don't think we should make too much noise right now... We should just find another way to escape." He spots a vent from the top of the stairs, "Lynda...hear me out." He points towards the vent.
She stares at him with her beady eyes as they walk down the stairs, "9hpu33fh9u83hiuo." Lynda grabs the vent and yanks it out of the wall.
Vincent stares at Lynda and exclaims, "Ok, and NO. This is not Among Us! Shut up!"
They crawl into the metal vent, Vincent going in first and Lynda following. The vents were cramped and even colder than the room they were in prior. It was almost completely dark but they could see a faint shimmer of light straight ahead. They attempt to remain silent as they crawl neither really knowing where they were going to end up. For about a minute or two of crawling, they hear faint music playing in the distance in a language they didn't quite understand.
Finally making it to the light they come across an opening in the vent, Vincent peers down to see two aliens sitting underneath. His eyes widen and he turns, gesturing for Lynda to be quiet. Vincent sees two aliens sitting at a metal table, both are extremely ugly looking to his taste and dressed as pirates. He watches as they play cards, hearing them speak in an unknown language.
A stomach rumbles throughout the vents making a long-drawn-out noise. Vincent turns his head to Lynda slowly with wide eyes as the pirates become alarmed and look around for the noise.
"LYNDA PLEASE DO NOT FART I WILL KILL YOU." Vincent whispers.
"WUdiowj." Lynda apologizes before she emits a loud fart.
The noise echoes throughout the vents alarming the pirates even more as they quickly stand up and yell at each other in something Lynda and Vincent don't understand. One of the pirates quickly runs away from Vincent's sight, a gun in hand while the other shuts off the music.
"Lynda!" Vincent whisper-yells in a panic and Lynda apologizes, both of them quickly crawl further away from the grate.
They come across another opening and as Vincent peers down it he sees a hallway with no one around, "We need to leave, it's only a matter of time before they find out we escaped!"
He pushes the vent open, this one easier to open from the inside. He nervously drops down into a hallway landing softly on the hard flooring. The halls were baren leading to various doors, one was labeled in a language he didn't understand. The halls were gray with the door labeled straight ahead and two others to his left. Though a large window to the right showed the outside and it shocked him; space.
He looks up gesturing for Lynda to drop down, "Look." He points towards the window which shows the vast emptiness of space, stars brightening the darkness.
Vincent and Lynda stare at space in silence. At this point, it more than confirmed their suspicions it was possible they were in Star Wars and they couldn't help but be flabbergasted.
The staring doesn't last for much longer when they hear jiggling from the door closest to them. They flinch, Lynda quickly runs towards the door that was labeled. Luckily for them, the door was open, and as they pour inside Vincent quickly and quietly shuts the door behind them.
They both exhale and Vincent says, "That was a close one." to which Lynda nods her head in agreement.
They take in their surroundings and find themselves in what looked like a captain's quarters. There were random bouts of jewels scattered around in piles and an unmade bed in the center of the room. A wooden dresser and a small wooden table with a lamp on it were in a corner of the room. It was dark, save for the lit candle on a wooden nightstand.
"t43v9n8y8ibunf4nfnqjd00jo." Lynda remarks.
"What. Oh my god, you are just going to have to hold it in then." Vincent glares at her.
"IBUw3f40ji9ofi!" Lynda yells at him.
Vincent quickly becomes fed up with Lynda's antics, "Too fucking bad Lynda! I don't care!"
"fe28bh9yuwefhb8uy9."
Vincent sighs, "Just shut up and help me look around, we might find something we need in here."
Lynda and Vincent quickly search the room, fanning out searching high and low. Vincent opens the dresser and finds a blaster. He had never shot a gun in his previous life but knew that he would need it to protect himself. Lynda searches under the bed and finds a nice pair of black sunglasses, they reminded her of Shino's from Naruto as she puts them on.
On the nightstand, a pair of keys catch Lynda's eyes, "jino3w9u3r9h8i9dniudwdji"
Vincent takes them from Lynda and examines them, "Keys? We don't even know what these are for?"
Lynda shrugs and picks up some of the pirate's jewelry, dawning it on her neck. She was officially blinged out.
Vincent sighs and makes a constipated face, "What should we do?"
Lynda ponders for a moment before coming up with a solution, "iuhe098u2e9u0 220eu9209i. 9i23hdi9oh2ioj."
Vincent becomes unsure of this, he had twig arms and was in the body of a child, "Fight back? You want to fight back. Lynda, You're nuts, you stupid wook-"
Lynda interuppts him, "f98h3diuho2uh2oij!"
It was true, she could carry the team to victory. She practically had the strength of a normal adult the only problem with the plan would be the blasters. They also did not know the number of pirates on the ship nor the type of artillery they had. They would have to guess and hope for the best.
Vincent hesitates but agrees, "Ok...Whatever you say..."
So, they just decide to wing it. Vincent would attempt to find the cockpit and take control of the ship while Lynda would handle the pirates and double as a distraction.
Lynda opens the door to the hallway and looks around, Vincent follows unsurely then she tells Vincent to stay there.
"3eu908dwejhi." Lynda goes back into the room.
"What? Lynda, we can't just kill someone..." Vincent stands there awkwardly.
"9yb8e389be2c982e." Lynda's voice echoed through the room to him.
Vincent had to admit that Lynda's cold logic was a bit true. They would have to kill someone. These pirates had kidnapped them, it was likely they were not good people. It was even more likely that they would attempt to kill them first, or at the very least capture them again.
She comes back out remarking that she had left a little "present" on the bed and that she no longer had to use the restroom.
Lynda kicks open the first door she sees, Vincent watching in the back. While Lynda had never truly fought someone in her first life she was pretty confident that if she just went monkey mode she could probably take down the pirates. Her strength as a Wookie child was enough to overpower a grown man.
She is met with two pirates, a species she couldn't identify because her Star Wars knowledge was lacking. The aliens were a man and a woman dawning dusty clothing talking about something. They immediately respond with shocked shouting in a language Lynda and Vincent couldn't understand pointing their blasters at them.
Lynda takes advantage of this shock quickly jumping at the first one she sees, tackling the man and punching him in the face with little to no talent whatsoever. It looked like she was flailing her arms around. The man is knocked out cold instantly as the woman brings out her blaster and aims it at Lynda. Vincent takes this chance to shoot the woman, aiming for the blaster in her hand to make her drop it but in the process accidentally shoots her in the foot. To which, the woman howls in pain and topples over.
Lynda responds to this by jumping on her and headbutting her in the head, effectively knocking her out. Lynda huffs and puffs out of breath from the sudden exercise.
They both look at the sleeping bodies, "They were dog shit."
Lynda kicks one of them to make sure they are asleep, "4unrr3c09ume30i9m2u09n."
Vincent looks at Lynda like she's crazy, "What? I'm not going to shoot them, let's just tie them up or something?"
Lynda rummages through a drawer pulling out some rope and tape, "8u34r 87e3c214ofj9iu3u8m93ec8um9u09m32e1c0."
Steam comes out of Vincent's ears, "No Lynda I am NOT making out with you."
Lynda starts getting griddy on them celebrating their victory while Vincent watches.
Efficiently gagging and tying the two aliens up, after ransacking their sleeping bodies and taking their weapons, Lynda and Vincent look around the room. It was a simple room with little to no decor and what looked like a holographic TV of some sort. It looked rusty and there was another door in the room. They decide that there would be nothing in the room and it would be best to keep moving.
They go through the door in the room and are met with another hallway. This one being a long straight path with a single door straight ahead. The door was labeled and instead of being average human-sized, it was twice as big. It felt ominous to both of them and they could hear faint sounds coming from it.
Vincent gulps, "I think there are people in there?"
Lynda nods as they approach the door.
Vincent turns to Lynda seriously, "You're distracting them, I'll try to sneak past."
The door opens once they touch it making a whoosh sound. Lynda enters the room first and it leads to a large cargo bay hanger. They could see at least ten pirates from where they were but none of them bat an eye at them. They looked menacingly and some were talking while others were guarding a huge mass in the center.
It was a ginormous creature that they couldn't identify. It had sharp claws and pointed fangs, it looked like a green crab with three eyes. It has massive chains and was laying on the ground seemingly asleep. Upon seeing this Lynda becomes extremely nervous, wanting to leave as any sane person would do upon seeing this. But she holds her ground and begins making loud noises. This alerts the pirates into looking at her as she suddenly bolts at the first one she sees slamming into them like a madman.
Vincent thinks to himself, 'Damn I thought that shit was Brutus!'
As Lynda distracts the pirates, they try to capture her instead of fighting her. Vincent quickly crouch-sneaks past them noticing the chains and the monster. The monster is the only one that notices and looks at him lazily, staying in its laying position.
He flanks the guards and the monster still follows him with its eyes. Vincent follows the chains and notices a lock on them that appeared to require a code. Seeing as Vincent didn't know the code he instead opted to shoot the lock.
This effectively released the monster, which as expected began tearing through the remaining guards that were still around it. It growled at Vincent, menacingly walking towards him before the pirates shot at the monster taking their attention off Lynda in a panic. The monster became more agitated and began to spear them like a kebab with its claws.
"u2980n0u90u9u09!" Lynda remarks, frightened that the beast would not only kill the pirates but them as well.
The pirate's blasters began wearing the monster down. It looked like it was slowly losing the fight. Still, behind the monster, Vincent's eyes searched for something that would save him and Lynda from the monster and the pirates.
Luckily, his eyes caught onto a button that suspiciously looked like an airlock. He briefly wondered that if he pressed the button would the monster and the pirates be shot into space.
He quickly makes up his mind and presses the button, "Lynda! Hold onto something!"
Vincent grabs onto a random bar while Lynda quickly grips onto a podium and the airlock opens sucking in the remains of the pirates and the monster. Lynda and Vincent feel the pull and hold on desperately. The creatures scream and once the pirates are all gone Vincent presses it again closing the airlock.
"Oh my god.." Vincent heaves.
Lynda fairs no better opting to lay on the floor, tired from the events that had just transpired.
Vincent had just sentenced many to death but knew they had it coming, "We..We need to get a move on."
Alarms begin blaring suddenly, strobing red loudly.
"Oh shit." Both Lynda and Vincent say simultaneously but Lynda's is as always, garbled.
Lynda gets up and they quickly make their way back through the hall and back to the hallway they started off in before.
Lynda looks at the only door they hadn't entered, "38mue092cucc09i093wc09."
They were greeted with another hallway. This time there were two doors, one to the left and one to the right.
Vincent hesitates, "What door?"
Lynda shrugs and enters the door to the right on instinct. The room did not have the alarms like the others. The only thing in the room was four chairs and what looked like a control panel with many buttons. There was also a small window leading out to space. They enter and the door closes behind them instantly and loudly.
Vincent approaches the main console, "Is this the cockpit? Hehehe cock..."
They instantly hear pounding on the door and shouting. It was like a jumpscare and they flinch.
"83RU2938U0CM9IU0I9C!"
Vincent panics, "I DON'T KNOW JUST PRESS RANDOM BUTTONS!"
Lynda begins spamming the buttons as if she was spamming a keyboard.
Suddenly the room begins moving and Lynda shouts in alarm, "3R9CUOCI0QIC0QI!"
She buckles into a chair and Vincent does the same. The room begins moving faster. At this point, they recognized they were in an escape pod going god knows where. The pod only begins moving faster and faster alarming them at the pace it was going.
Vincent notices the window in the pod, "Lynda...Don't get worried but I think were hurling towards that planet!"
Yes, yes they were. They were blasting towards a greyish-orange planet with dark purplish-brown spots. They could see it getting larger and larger through the window of their pod.
"98U3U9N033U90N2U0N93!" Lynda begs Vincent to they hold hands as they hurl faster and faster, entering the planet's atmosphere.
"I HATE YOU LYNDA! I HATE YOU! THE MOMENT I SAW YOU I KNEW I WAS DESTINED TO DIE!"
To this Lynda says her first English word, "Ben."
They both look at each other screaming loudly. Too fast to properly say anything or think for that matter. Only a couple of seconds later do they see the planet's surface and a second after, darkness.
It smells like smoke and it's blurry. Those were the first thoughts in Vincent's head as he awoke.
Disoriented, he looks around. It was dark but he could make out Lynda's figure buckled into a chair. He himself was in a chair as well. Too disoriented to think properly he sits just looking around dumbly.
"L...ynda?" He calls out but gets no response.
There is a faint beeping and a hatch opening when light floods into the pod and a figure looms over Vincent but they were too blurry for him to make out.
"Hello there." The voice calls out.
He passes out shortly after.
