House of Protest:

Mr. Sweet looked nervously at Mr. Shepard who was busy making notes in his notebook. Mr. Sweet took a deep breath and walked over to Mr. Shepard.

"Hello, Mr. Shepard I don't know what you've heard, but it's not what you think," said Mr. Sweet.

"First of all what I think you don't know. And second it is true that this lady stayed away from school without your permission?" Asked Mr. Shepard.

"Yes, it is, but her personal situation," said Mr. Sweet.

"I'm not interested. A student has been skipping school and you turn a blind eye," said Mr. Sweet.

"But this is an very unusual situation..," said Mr. Sweet.

"You said it. This is not exactly the model of order, as you are known," said Mr. Shepard.

"But you don't know what's going on here," said Mr. Sweet.

"Well, you can explain it to me now. Let's take a seat in your office," said Mr. Shepard.

"Yes, of course. Follow me," said Mr. Sweet.

Mr. Sweet and Mr. Shepard walked into Mr. Sweet's office. Amber and Alfie stuck their tongues out at Mr. Shepard when he wasn't looking.

"What a jerk that Shepard is," said Aaron.

"Oh man why does he have to come right now?" Asked Eddie.

"It's my fault if I didn't skip school then your dad wouldn't be in trouble," said Nina.

"Nina, it's not your fault. My dad understood why you skipped school today," said Eddie.

"Yes, but that Shepard guy won't understand why," said Nina.

"I think your dad's in a lot of trouble right now," said Alfie.

"Oh, yeah, we'll see about that," said Eddie.

"What are you up to, Eddie?" Asked Patricia.

"Send a text message to as much students you've in your contacts, It's time for action," said Eddie.

In the meantime at the house. Trudy was cleaning up Nina and Amber's room and at the same time Victor Jr. entered the room.

"Hello," said Victor jr.

But Trudy said nothing and continued to clean up. Victor jr. walked up to Trudy.

"Trudy, perhaps you've a moment for me," said Victor jr.

Trudy stopped cleaning up and turned to Victor Jr.

"Yes, I took out the garbage and got the bland out of the gutter. And now I want to repeal the tap but I can't find my tool anywhere, do you happen to know where it is? Asked Victor jr.

"In the trash," said Trudy.

"Oh, well, I'll think of something, said Victor jr.

Victor Jr. walked out of Nina and Amber's room and Trudy got a grin on her face.

An hour later at school, Nina, Amber and Patricia were in the girls restroom and Nina was telling Amber and Patricia about her day with Mason at the petting zoo.

"And at first he was very scared of that goat and a little later he started hugging him," said Nina.

"And you're sure that he's all right in the head?" Asked Amber.

"Yeah, he's a little odd, but funny," said Nina.

"And then suddenly he went away?" Asked Patricia.

"Yeah, just like that, like at the funeral," said Nina.

"Maybe he has a job or strict parents," guessed Amber.

"I can't call him and he can't call me, but it was just fun," said Nina.

At that same moment, Mara walked into the girls' bathroom.

"Hey," said Mara.

"Hey," said Patricia.

"Did you guys hear?" Asked Mara.

"Heard what?" Asked Amber.

"We're going to take action for Mr. Sweet," said Mara.

"Yes, we heard," said Patricia.

"Let's go," said Mara.

Nina, Amber and Patricia followed Mara out of the girls' bathroom.

In the meantime, Mr. Sweet was in his office with Mr. Shepard and Ms. Delaney was there too. Mr. Shepard was sitting at Mr. Sweet's desk.

"The incident in the hallway strengthen my opinion only Mr. Sweet," said Mr. Shepard.

"But there's a whole story to it, if you'll just give me a moment to explain," said Mr. Sweet.

"I regret to inform you that the school board no longer considers you suitable to fill your post," said Mr. Shepard.

"So I'm fired?' Asked Mr. Sweet.

"That is correct," said Mr. Shepard.

"I think the school board and you are making a very big mistake, Mr. Shepard. Mr. Sweet is a very good principal, said Ms. Delaney.

"Is that what you think?" Asked Mr. Shepard.

"Yes, I do," said Ms. Delaney.

"If you think Mr. Sweet is a role model, then I know who's going to be leaving this school next," said Mr. Shepard.

Ms. Delaney got an angry look in her eye, jumped over the desk and grabbed Mr. Shepard by his tie.

"Maeve never mind, it's no use," said Mr. Sweet and pulled Ms. Delaney away from Mr. Shepard.

"Very wise of you," said Mr. Shepard.

Ms. Delaney cried out on Mr. Sweet's shoulder.

Back in the house. Trudy walked into the bathroom and saw that Victor Jr. was cleaning it, only made a worse mess. Victor Jr. walked out of the bathroom.

"It may look like a mess, but I'll put everything back in it's place once I'm finished, said Victor jr.

Trudy ignored Victor Jr. and at that same moment Aaron came walking down.

"Oh shoot," said Aaron.

"Aaron Millington, what are you doing here? School isn't over yet," said Victor jr.

"We've a lunch break," said Aaron.

"You know you're not allowed back in the house during your breaks and free periods," said Victor jr.

"But I just want to check on KT and I brought her some lunch," said Aaron.

"Rules are rules," said Victor jr.

Trudy stood in front of Victor Jr. and glared at him angrily.

"But there are always exceptions and this is one of those," said Victor jr.

Victor Jr. walked away and down the girls' corridor. Aaron smiled and walked over to Trudy.

"Way to go Trudy," said Aaron, giving Trudy a high five.

"No problem," said Trudy.

"You rock," said Aaron.

"And KT is lucky to have a sweet boyfriend like you, You're a sweetheart," said Trudy.

Trudy gently pinched Aaron's cheek and then went into the bathroom to clean it. Aaron went into KT's room and saw that KT was reading a book.

"I've lunch for you," said Aaron.

"Thank you," said KT

"Something nice from the bakery and another orange mango juice," said Aaron.

"That sounds good," said KT.

KT put her book away and Aaron handed her the lunch he brought for her.

"Didn't Victor see you?" Asked KT.

"Yes, he did," said Aaron.

"But he didn't send you away?" Asked KT.

"He did try, until Trudy gave him an angry look and then suddenly he didn't mind me being here during school hours," said Aaron.

"What does Trudy have on him?" Asked KT.

"No idea, but it's has the advantage that I can see you now," said Aaron.

"Aaron?" Asked KT.

"Yeah," said Aaron.

"Can I ask you something?" Asked KT.

"Sure," said Aaron.

"Do you think maybe I could read my great-grandfather's journal?" Asked KT.

"I don't see any problem why not, I'm just wondering if it's such a good idea," said Aaron.

"It has to do with my family's history Aaron, so this is a part of me," said KT.

"Okay, I'll get it for you," said Aaron.

"Thank you," said KT.

Aaron looked at his watch, he noticed that lunch break was almost over and that he needed to get back to school for a meeting.

"I've to go back to school soon, we're going to protest," said Aaron.

"Protest? Why?" Asked KT.

"That head of the school board Mr. Shepard wants Mr. Sweet gone," said Aaron.

"But why? Mr. Sweet is a fantastic principal," said KT.

"I don't know, but we're gonna make sure that Sweetie stays principal," said Aaron.

"I'll help too, I may not be there, but I'm there in spirit," said KT.

"I know," said Aaron.

Aaron gave KT a kiss and stood and left KT's room and went back to school.

A few moments later at school, many of the students had gathered in the computer lab and were talking about the school board wanting to fire Mr. Sweet.

"I think it's really ridiculous that we're not being asked anything," said Mara.

"Yeah, said the other students.

"And just now he's being so nice after Fabian passed away," said Nina.

"They can't just fire him over a stupid musical," said Jerome.

"No, and the musical wasn't stupid," said Amber.

"No the point Amber," said Aaron.

"Apparently the can," said Eddie.

"But that horrible man is not the entire school board, is he?" Asked Patricia.

"But he does have the final word," said Eddie.

"That's nonsense," said Otis.

"I find that man very annoying," said Amber.

"So it's time for action!" Shouted Eddie.

Eddie walked towards the tables and climbed on and looked over the other students.

"Good that you're all here, We're going to protest against the school board," said Eddie.

"Yes because we want Mr. Sweet to stay!" Shouted Otis.

"Mr. Sweet has to stay!" Shouted Eddie.

"Mr. Sweet has to stay!" Shouted the other students.

"So get to work," said Eddie.

The students grabbed paint and brushes and started making banners.

An half an hour later. Mr. Sweet, Ms. Delaney and Mr. Shepard walked out of Mr. Sweet's office.

"So if you can realize your departure by the end of the week, the new principal can start at the beginning of the new month," said Mr. Shepard.

"But this is ridiculous. Surely you can't expect that within a week ...," said Ms. Delaney, but Mr. Sweet cut her off.

"I'll make sure it's done," said Mr. Sweet.

One week will be enough to say goodbye to you students," said Mr. Sweet.

Mr. Sweet said nothing and Mr. Shepard looked around and noticed it was quiet.

"Speaking of students," said Mr. Shepard.

"Yes, it's been awfully quiet," said Mr. Sweet.

"Surely you didn't give them all the opportunity to skip school," said Mr. Shepard with a smug smile on his face.

But before Mr. Shepard could make another comment, the Anubis residents and all their fellow students came walking down the hallway with banners and signs

"What is the meaning of this?" Asked Mr. Shepard.

"This is what we think," said Jerome.

"Yes, we don't Mr. Sweet to go," said Aaron

"Mr. Sweet has to stay! Mr. Sweet has to stay!" Shouted all the other students.

"Stop this nonsense and all go back to your classes or I will suspend you all," said Mr. Shepard.

"You do that, but we're here to inform you that there will be no more classes if Mr. Sweet leaves," said Jerome.

"You think you can blackmail the great Shepard, let me tell you something, I and only I control what happens in this school," said Mr. Shepard.

"Mr. Shepard," said Mr. Sweet.

"Be quiet! Not only will I see to it that you are all expelled from school, I will see to it that all of you want be accepted into any school," said Mr. Shepard.

"And that's a wrap," said Otis, taking a step forward holding his camera in his hands.

"What are you doing?" Asked Mr. Shepard.

"Oh, I'm just shooting a little movie," said Otis.

Otis walked up to Mr. Shepard and showed him the clip he had just filmed. Mr. Shepard tried to grab the camera but Otis stopped him

"Nice video, I think it's going to be a very big hit on the internet," said Otis.

"This is blackmail. You can't do this. This will ruin reputation," said Mr. Shepard.

"Mr. Shepard, no one has to see this video as long as my father stays," said Eddie.

Mr. Sweet, you're a reasonable man. You can't allow this," said Mr. Shepard.

Mr. Sweet said nothing and just shrugged his shoulders.

"This will be the end of my career," said Mr. Shepard.

"Well, then it looks like we're gonna have to go to an employment agency together," said Mr. Sweet.

"All right, all right, if you destroy this video, I'll give you a chance to prove that Mr. Sweet is the right man for the job," said Mr. Shepard.

Mr. Shepard said nothing and walked away. The students, Mr. Sweet and Ms. Delaney were happy.

A few hours later and it was dinner time. Trudy walked into the kitchen and it was a big mess. Victor Jr. came up with pan and showed the content to Trudy and the food didn't look too appetizing.

"A five star meal and I will clean everything up afterwards," said Victor jr.

Victor Jr. walked into the living room with the pan and put it on the table.

"Enjoy," said Victor jr.

"Thank you, said Nina.

Victor jr. walked back into the kitchen. The residents looked at the food with a disgusting look and some of them even had to gag

"Oh gross I'm getting nauseous, said Amber.

"I'm a big eater, but even Super Alfie can't handle this food," said Alfie.

"If you can even call this stuff food," said Jerome.

"Okay, I'm not hungry anymore. I'm going to see KT," said Aaron.

"Shouldn't you bring her something?" Asked Alfie.

"No thanks, I don't think poisoning her right now is such a good idea," said Aaron.

"How about we order some pizza?" Suggested Otis

"Good idea," said Patricia.

After dinner. Eddie had gone to Nina and Amber's room looking for the map. Eddie searched through everything and found the map in a book. Eddie grabbed the book and walked out of Nina and Amber's room. But Eddie had no idea that Victor sr. had seen everything.

At the same time. Trudy entered the kitchen and saw that Victor jr. was busy cleaning up the mess he had made.

"I'm almost finished," said Victor jr. "Do you want me to do this dishes next?"

"Victor Rodenmaar I'm still very angry that you were not at Fabian's funeral," said Trudy.

"Trudy, I'm really sorry, it was force majeure, I had no choice," said Victor jr.

"It's all right, I can forgive, but I can't forget. I'll talk to you again," said Trudy.

"Thank you," said Victor jr.

"Now we'll clean up this mess together and then we're going to have coffee," said Trudy.

Trudy grabbed a broom and helped Victor Jr. clean up the kitchen.

Eddie came into his room and locked the door and put a chair in front of the door. Eddie took the map out of the book and carefully laid it down on his bed.

"So this should lead me to the next task," said Eddie, as he studied the map.

Eddie didn't understand any of the hieroglyphs. Eddie grabbed his head and layed down on his bed.

"How will I manage on my own?" Asked Eddie

"Perhaps I can be of help," said a voice.

Eddie was startled by the voice and sat upright in his bed. Eddie turned around and saw Fabian all dressed up in white standing in the room.

"Hello Eddie," said Fabian.

Eddie could not believe his eyes when he saw Fabian. But was it the real Fabian? And how can he help Eddie with the search for the mask of Anubis?
