"Shist," Clarisse growled once everything had been explained.
"Shist pretty much sums it up," Piper agreed tiredly from her seat. "But this is happening, whether we like it or not. We need to find out what we're dealing with. Right now, we're flying blind, we don't know how many people the Avengers have with them or what kind of tech they have. But for now it doesn't look like they can cross the border yet, so we have that going for us at least." Percy nodded in agreement at her words then turned to Jason.
"I'll see what I can find out from the marine life. Jason, take the high ground?" Percy suggested. Everyone nodded. "Don't worry the younger campers, all they know was that there were mortals at the border. Tell them that the mortals left and we're coming up with a plan to leave tomorrow at the latest, we don't want to give them time to set up any traps for us." Another round of agreement.
"Will and Clarisse, Sherman, you and I are on the strategizing team," Annabeth said as she stood up. "Conner, Travis, Leo, and Lu, check our defenses and make sure we'll know when they show up. Pollux, Buch, Laurel and Holy, start contacting Camp Jupiter. Piper, work with the younger campers and make sure they don't get too worried. Clovis, try and see if you can see anything in your dreams. Everyone else, make sure we can get out of here by tomorrow." Everyone nodded and left. But they all had the same fear. Even if they managed to evacuate the camp, would they be able to make across the country to Camp Jupiter before the Avengers, or even worse monsters, caught up with them?
