10. The Child

The escape pod flew out of hyper space witch it had seemingly been in for a while it flew down twords Arvala-7. The desert planet was dry and little sign of life. Asoka felt bad about abandoning those clones on Apderon but there hadn't been much of a choice plus she could sense several of them escaping. Asoka, Lumanara and Rex felt the escape pod shake and rumble before crashing down on the planet once it came to a stop they stepped out. Rex said "Outher escape pods launched along with us but we don't know where they ended up." Asoka sighed and said "We have to find the child we need to make shure he wasn't found by who ever those guys were."Lumanara nodded and said "We should head out I can sense a faint force sensitive." The trio walked away twords the force sensitive that Asoka and Lumanara could sense. The trio arrived at a small encampment. Dead bodies were scattered on the ground and smoke was rising in the air and form some of the bodies. They walked out into the encampment seeing that the bodies had recently been killed in a brutal battle. In a nearby building there was the sound of a blaster firing. The three drew there wepions as a mandilorian walked out a pod behind the Mandalorian. The Mandilorian wore armor that was not made out of Beskar there was a blaster mark over the Mandalorians gut. The blast mark seemed to be old. The Mandalorian said "Move out of the Way this bounty is mine." Asoka said "What bounty all we want is a force sensitive child." The drew a blaster and said "The kid stays with me." In the pod a child that looked like master Yoda popped its head out of the pod. Lumanara asked "Who would want him?" The Mandalorian said "I didn't ask all I need to know is that he is wanted." Asoka said "We need to know who wants the child." The Mandalorian looked at the child and said "I can take you to him if you explain why you want the him." Rex said "Someone has been taking force sensitive children."Lumanara said "According to master Yoda the child is one of the more powerful ones and can't be lost." The Mandalorian said "So that's why he would use Beska for payment." Asoka said "The Republic can pay you better we also have access to Beskar." The Mandalorian walked forward and past them saying "I don't need Republic credits or Beskar. If your following me then follow there's a moisture farm where we can stay." Rex asked "What's your name uh soldire?" The Mandalorians looked at him and said "Din and that's all you need to know clone and you do not need to know the rest." Din turend and continued walking.

The group Enders a casmos as they walked through a beeping could be heard and three bounty five bounty hunters dropped down. The Jedi ignited there lights saber Rex Dre a blaster and Din pulled out a rifle he struck one of the hunters nocking it down and disintegrated it with a blast one of the hunters swung a blade cutting into his shoulder Rex then shot the hunter as two ram at the child and they were quickly cut down by Asoka and Lumanara they looked down and saw a tracking beacon. Din said "We need to move before more come." The group continued moving and by nightfall they reached a small moisture farm. As they arrived an Ugnaught walked out and said "So you survived and found company what is it you were looking for and brought the hunters here?" The Child crawled out of the pod and started to chase a frog Din said "It was the child." As the Child chased the frog and bent down near him after a second she said "He is called Grogu and was trained at the Jedi temple before being moved into hiding during order 66 he stayed in hiding for this time to make shure he would not be captured and until a Jedi could get hi." The Ugnaught said "Now I will have my land and no hunters to deal with." Din said "I must pay you for your service." The Ugnaught said "All the payment I need is my land." Lumanara said "You have the respect of the Jedi." Din looked at Grogu as he picked up a frog and ate it. Din looked at the outhers and said "If your coming with me we move out in the morning my ship is not far from here."

When the sun rose over the planet the grup left when they arrived at the ship was being takin apart by Jawas Din pulled out a blaster and fired killing a few Jawa and they ran into there Sandcrawler with the parts. Din ran down to is ship and cursed quietly. Din turend and walked back to the moisture farm when they returned the Ugnaught said "You've met the Jawas I see." Asoka said "Anakin did say they were annoying little thieves but I thought they were only on Tatooine." The Ugnaught chuckled and said "No they're here to. They think anything they take is there's I've traded with them before I will be able to take you to where they are." Din said "When do we leave?" The Ugnaught walked over to a transport snd said "Now." The group traveled through the night until they reached the Jawa camp the next morning.

When the Jawas saw them most turns and raised weapons but after talking with the Ugnaught they lowered there weapons the Ugnaught said "They want you to lower your wepions." Din reluctantly put down his weapons so did the outhers. The Jawas chatted and the Ugnaught said "They are willing to trade for the ship but they want your armor." Din said "No they can't he's be it it is part of my culture." One of the Jawas chatter and points at the Jedi's lightsabers Asoka understand said "You will not have our lightsabers." The Jawas looked at each other and one pointed at Grogu who was starting to be sorounded by the Jawa Din activated his flame thrower and Asoka reached to her lightsaber as he shouted "GET AWAY FORM IT!" The Jawa emedietly backed away one chattered and the Ugnaught said "There is one thing the want they want an Egg." Lumanara said "What egg is it they would want?" By then the Jawas were chanting Din sighed and said "I will retrieve the egg." The Jawas continued the chant

Din and the outhers traveled in the Jawa's Sandcrawler when they seduced in the area the Sandcrawler stoped, Din, Asoka, Rex and Lumanara exited the Sandcrawler Grogu still in his pod. Din said "You do not have to accompany me in this." Lumanara said "As long as Grogu is with you we will follow you because we need to return him to the Jedi." The group walked into a muddy area and Din left Grogu and his pod out side Lumanara had opted to stay with the child to protect him if there was any danger. As Din walked in Rex and Asoka waited outside there weapons drawn. Form out side there was the sound of s creature roaring and blaster fire the Mandalorian was thrown out his chest plate damaged. Din stagered up as a Mudhorn charged pit of the cave Asoka and ran forward but the Mudhorn ran into the three of them Lumanara activated her lightsaber as it turend to her and Grogu but Din and Rex drew the blasters and fired the Mudhorn turn and charged at them Asoka tan at it her sabers cutting into its side in raged the Mudhorn ran into the two nocking them down and there blasters away Din managed to stab it in its side and was dragged along before pulling his knife out. The Mudhorn then then and charged Din who raised the knife and lowed his head and waited for death but it never came he looked up and saw it floating trying to charge he looked around seeing no cause until he saw Grogu who's hand was raised the child fell back tired and the Mudhorn fell on its side Din walked over to it and stabbed the Mudhorn in the neck killing it. He then walked into the cave to retrac the Mudhorn's egg.

The grup retuned to the Jawas and the Ugnaught with the egg and hit the parts for the ship once they started to rebuild the ship they explained what had happend the Ugnaught looked at Grogu and said "So the story's of the Jedi were true." Lumanara said "Yes we are able to wiled the force like the child did." Once the Razors Crest was fixed Din and the outhers left the planet

Thrawn watched the bounty hunter ship lave he could only assume the childr, the tow Jedi and Clone were with the hunter. His forces would be waiting for them when they delivered the child.

On Tatooine in Jabba's palace Maul and his Inquisitors stood in grunt of Jabba. Maul was saying "This is a new era join me and you will have more freedom than before." Jabba chuckled and declined the offer before he could order his guards to take them away the Sith and his Inquisitors activated there sabers and started to cut through everyone there except one person who slip away.
