"Mia…Mia!"
The sound of Bakugo's voice snapped you out of your daze. "Huh?"
"The food."
'That's right I was in the middle of cooking.' You realized looking down at the stove top as one pot was bubbling over, creating a mess of the sauce you were making and sending smoke upwards to fill the room. "Damnit!..Sorry I don't know what happened." You grabbed the handle and removed the pot from the eye before turning it off.
"..Everything alright? You've been acting weird the past few days."
Tasting the sauce to make sure that it was still okay you took a second to think before responding. "..I just..have a lot on my mind." You said grabbing a nearby towel to clean the stove.
"Like what?"
'..I can't tell him about Dabi..' "..Its just that…you've been coming over a lot..we talk almost everyday.." You were starting to ramble not really sure what to say to the ash blonde standing next to you in the tiny kitchen area.
His eyes were on you as he said something that caught your attention. "..Isn't that what couples do?"
'…Is that what this is?..What we are?' You hadn't actually thought about that. While you've never dated anyone you knew the basic idea thanks to some of the movies you've watched. Turning to look at him you asked, "..We're a couple? As in boyfriend and girlfriend?"
"Hn, what did you think we were doing?" He chuckled at your naïveté and it made you blush as you looked back down at the cooling sauce.
You shrugged your shoulders, 'I know what dating is, but…Men have come into my life for mostly one thing. And only one other person has ever made me feel..wanted.'
His arms circled your waist as he stepped in close behind you. "..Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He whispered into your ear and it took everything in you to contain the shiver that ran through your body.
"..If I say yes..what exactly does that mean?"
"It means that we'll see each other exclusively, go on dates, continue getting to know each other..it means I want you to be a part of my life, the same way I'll be a part of yours..I..really like you Mia."
"..I..like you too." 'But is this really okay?..'
"Alright everyone, the holidays are coming up and I thought it would be a good idea to do a secret Santa for our first annual Christmas party. I have a hat here with everyones name written on a piece of paper. Each of you is going to draw a name and you'll have to buy that person a gift. Try to make it something personal and keep it under twenty thousand yen."
The hat was passed around the room before being handed to you. Grabbing the hat you pulled out a single folded strip of paper. Passing the hat to Cho who was sitting to your right you quickly opened the paper to see a name you didn't recognize. While you didn't know everyone in the building personally this name just didn't ring a bell as one you'd heard mentioned recently.
As the group meeting ended and most of the people had filtered out of the cafeteria you walked up to Mr. Kim.
"Mr. Kim, I don't know who this is." You handed him the small piece of paper and he looked at it briefly before responding.
"Oh yeah, Haruhi..She's been here for six weeks and still refuses to come out of her apartment."
'Sounds familiar.' "..Then why would you put her in the secret Santa if she doesn't plan to participate?"
"That's where you come in." He responded with a knowing smirk.
'I can't believe this. He really expects me to convince her to come out..Something even he hasn't been able to do.'
You stood in front of a door that was familiar to you. Familiar, because it was on the same floor as yours. 'To think I've had a neighbor this long and didn't even know it.'
Lifting your hand you formed a fist and lightly knocked on the door. You heard nothing but silence, making you wonder if she was actually inside. 'If she's anything like how I used to be she's either right there on the couch, curled up in a ball..Or she could be asleep.'
You knocked again, louder this time. "Haruhi?..Y-you don't know me, but my name is Mia. I'm actually your neighbor.."
'Yeah..this isn't weird at all.' "I-uh, I heard you haven't come out of your room yet. I just came to introduce myself and let you know that if you need anything or want to talk, I'm in the apartment at the end of the hall.."
'..I really hope she's okay.'
Turning slowly you walked back to your apartment, not taking your eyes off the door until you were too far away to see it properly anymore.
Stepping off the elevator you turned towards your apartment and fumbled with the bags in your hands as you dug in your hip pocket for your key.
Once it was finally in your grasp you looked up and stopped completely unprepared for who was standing in front of your place. Your eyes widened at the sight of him but thankfully this time you were still able to breath properly and didn't find yourself looking for the closest exit.
He was about to knock on your door until he noticed you. "..Hey..I-uh hope you don't mind, I asked Bakugo where you lived so we could talk…Here let me help you with that." Noticing your struggle he quickly stepped closer to grab the paper bags you were holding.
Hands now free of the heavy groceries you stepped around him and close to the door. Once it was unlocked you held it open so your unexpected guest could follow you inside.
Closing the door, you turned to get a good look at the boy who's diapers you used to change when you worked for the Todoroki's. "..So..you do remember me?"
He sets the bags on the counter and turns to you. "..Yeah. It took me a minute the last time I saw you for it to register but..I never forgot about you." He took a step closer and you took note that he was actually an inch or two taller than you now. "I never forgot how you protected me from my father."
"..I didn't do that great of a job." You said reaching up to touch his face gently with your hand close to the scar around his left eye.
His hand covered yours and he gave you a soft look. "He didn't do that..but he is the reason it happened.." He said answering your unspoken question.
'This is..so awkward, but I finally have a chance to talk to him.' "..H-how is your family?" You asked pulling your hand away quickly and turning to busy yourself with putting away the food you'd just bought.
"..Everyone is fine, more or less..I'm more curious about you..I've heard some stories about what you guys have been throu-"
"It wasn't the same for all of us." You said cutting him off so he didn't jump to conclusions.
"..I see.." His eyes looked around at your apartment before continuing, "If definitely looks like you're doing well."
"..Yeah I..I'm okay, can't really complain."
He stepped into the living room and proceeded to take in your apartment. Since you didn't have pictures or personal artifacts the place looked more like a model home then an actual home. "..I have to ask…Did you know, about Touya?..Did you know he was still alive?"
"..No, I mean, not really..When I met him again he was already going by Dabi and my memory of him, your family, our time together..all of it was gone. He-uh..he did try to tell me who he was, but I-I couldn't put it all together at the time..it wasn't until he said my name on tv that I started getting all of my memories back."
"..Why did he try to make you remember the identity he was keeping secret from even his own comrades?"
You shrugged your shoulders and averted your gaze not realizing that your actions and facial expression gave away your every thought to the younger intuitive man before you.
"..When was the last time you saw him?" He continued to question now stepping closer to you.
"..Maybe..a month ago."
"..Does Bakugo know?"
"No."
"..Is there a reason you haven't told him?"
"..Talking about your brother is..still hard for me. And I haven't told him much about my past anyway..it's something I'm working on."
"..I get it..I just hope you can see that he is not to be trusted. Touya might still be in there but right now Dabi's in control, and he is very dangerous..I don't want to see anyone else get hurt."
"..I'll be okay. You don't have to worry about me." You muttered the last part more to yourself.
You and Bakugo met up with his usual group of friends to grab some food and drinks. Shoto was there too and this time everything felt more relaxed. No awkward moments, no difficulty breathing, as much as you hated the word, this was probably the closest to a normal girl you've ever felt. 'Even though I'm quirkless and not an aspiring hero they seem to accept me.'
After surpassing your limit of two drinks you started feeling the effects of the alcohol and leaned into Bakugo who was sitting next to you.
"You must be drunk."
"So what if I am?..You gonna take advantage of me?"
"I will if we don't leave in the next two minutes-"
"Bye everyone!" You yelled with a wave, catching the attention of every person at the table. They all gave odd stares while Bakugo smirked and stood to help you up.
Instead of having to go all the way back to your place, he opted for a nearby hotel, suddenly seeming very impatient.
Your face was completely flushed as he practically dragged you into the first place he saw, which ended up being a love hotel. It didn't bother you as he quickly paid and selected a random room.
His hands went around your waist and pulled you close so he could nuzzle your neck as you approached the appropriate room number.
You used the key to open the door and before you could even look around and take in the foreign room Bakugo grabbed your chin and moved your face so he could kiss you on the lips.
Turning your body towards his, you returned the kiss and immediately took off your coat. He did the same, removing his shirt soon after.
Hands roamed each others bodies and clothes were strewn about before the back of your legs hit the bed causing both of you to fall onto the soft mattress, lips connected the entire time.
You pulled back first, needing more air to breath and he continued his onslaught down to your neck. Finding your weak spot you moaned and you could feel him smile as he continued to bit and suck on it.
Eyes closed at the wonderful sensations before opening and spotting something in the distance. Focusing on the opposite wall your eyes widened at the items that were on display.
Noticing your lack of attention Bakugo looked in the same direction you were, then back to you. "..You into that sort of stuff?"
"..K-kinda."
"..Should I..use something on you?"
You looked at his face and simply nodded your head.
"What would you prefer?"
"..Whatever my master wants."
He starred at the assortment before him with a thoughtful expression before grabbing a riding crop and inspecting it before turning back towards you. However he was surprised to see you kneeling on the floor by his feet. Raising an eyebrow he asked. "Is this some kind of role-play?"
You caught him off guard when you reached for his boxers, ignoring his question completely and reached inside to pull out his cock. Holding it with both hands you caressed it with your face.
"Mia-ha!..Shit." he sucked in a breath as you swallowed his entire length.
Your mind was literally racing but all you could focus on was that the man before you was finally going to use you the way you were meant to be used.
Licking the shaft from base to the tip you hollowed your cheeks as you sucked on the head. Closing your eyes you saw yourself in this same position, different men replaced the one in front of you. Like a montage of your degradation.
You weren't disgusted by the images. Instead they added to your current mood, stimulating you from the inside out. Moaning you deep throated the thick member, gagging a little as it went down your throat.
Opening your eyes, you kept your lids low as you continued to zone out. Until you felt hands on your face that gently guided you backwards so that your mouth was now empty and hanging open with a trail of drool running from your bottom lip to his dick.
"..Damn, you're good at that..but it's my turn now." He smiled and held up his chosen toy for you to see.
You were excited to see a lengthy red rope in his grasp.
"Hands."
You held out your arms to him and didn't look away as he started to wrap the thin rope around your wrists. Once they were secure he tugged on the knot watching to see your reaction. "Is that too tight?"
"..No it's fine." 'Could be tighter.'
Are you actually complaining?
"Good." He dragged you by the slack back to the bed. Pushing you onto the soft mattress he climbed on top of you and moved your hands to the headboard. Wrapping the other end of the rope around the middle pole on the headboard and tying it in place.
"Do we need a safe word?" He asked glancing down at you.
"..I've..never used one before.." 'Just when I thought I'd finally got what I wanted.'
"Alright..If it's ever too much just tell me to stop."
'I doubt that'll happen.'
Aww, at least he's trying.
Standing behind the counter you finished putting the cash in the register and turned to the customer with their change and a polite smile.
When the door chimed that the last customer left you heard a heavy sigh from you'r left and turned to see Kirishima resting his elbows on the counter, leaning on it to keep himself upright.
"You look tired." You said stating the obvious to make small talk.
He sighed again, "..Yeah..I've had to pull a couple all-nighters lately."
"You mean..for your other job?"
He didn't say anything instead nodding his head 'yes'.
'I can't believe how many pro heroes I've come in contact with during my life. Hell even now I'm dating one…Now that I think about it, he's been on edge lately too.' "I know you can't go into details, but I'm here if you ever need to..you know vent or talk."
Kirishima turned his head to look at you and a small smile lit his features. "..Bakugo sure is a lucky guy."
You blushed turning away from the red head. "..I don't do anything special…I know my worth and it's nothing compared to someone as great as him." Your eyes widened 'Woah, what the-why the hell did I say all of that?!'
"That's not true. You being yourself is plenty, and honestly..Bakugo probably doesn't deserve you."
You'r right he deserves better.
You knocked on the door as you stood there silently waiting to see if she'd open up today. You'd just gotten off of work and your mind was still racing with thoughts about your conversation with Kirishima.
'..I really thought I was over this..that I was getting better…that I could be like everyone else..be a…normal person.'
We've never been like everyone else, why start now?
"..Haruhi..it's Mia, again…" 'Even if she is ignoring me, or asleep..I need to talk to someone..' "You know I..I was a lot like you, when I first got here…It was scary, still is at times.."
Leaning on the door for support you continued. "I just got off from work and I..I said something that triggered me…I honestly thought I was starting to get over everything that happened.." You turned your back to the door, slamming your head into it to try and relieve the growing emotions.
'Calm down.' You told yourself as you slid down the door until you were sitting on the floor.
"Sorry, I..I'm rambling, but..I was just trying to say..that I get it…I know why you don't want to come out…" Tears began to pool in your eyes. "I miss it too..I miss it so much, that I got my tattoo redone after my last master had it removed…I already knew what Mr. Kim was thinking when he saw me..that I was crazy for rebranding myself a slave to society when I was finally free…But I didn't ask for this."
You took a deep breath really hoping that she wasn't on the other side of the door listening and at the same time hoping that she was.
"..I..never wanted this.." You looked down at the tile flooring and stared for a minute while your vision blurred before finally becoming clear as the tears made their way down your cheeks. 'I should go..' You moved your hand in order to help yourself up but stoped at the sound of a click. Eyes darting to the handle you stare at it hard as you see the knob start to turn.
A crack is formed in the frame, letting you see into the dark apartment and you raise an eyebrow in confusion before seeing a hand on the edge of the door and the top of a head peak around the corner.
"..Y-you..really mi-miss it?" Her voice was meek and very low so you had to strain just to hear her even though you were within earshot.
Your head nodded before you spoke. "More than I want to admit..but yeah I still miss it.."
'Besides Mr. Kim I've never told this to anyone else.' "..It-uh, gave me purpose..a reason to live…A day doesn't go by that I don't think about going back to the way things were."
She looked you up and down, obviously taking in your response and appearance to make sure you were legit and not some imposter. "..D-do you..want to come in?"
You nod your head 'yes' and quickly stand up to walk inside her apartment.
The layout is the same as yours just backwards with her kitchen and bedroom being on the right side of the room versus the left.
You kick off your shoes at the entrance and walk past Haruhi to sit on the couch and finally get a good look at her. She is a few inches taller than you with light brown hair and green eyes. It is hard to tell in the barely lit room, but she looks pale.
"Y-you said your name was M-Mia, right?" She questioned choosing to stand close to the kitchen.
"Yeah."
"M-Mr. Kim sent you t-to talk to me?"
You nod your head, "..Consider yourself lucky because the only person I had to talk to at first was Mr. Kim..and, well lets just say that even though he is nice, and helpful..it would've been nice to talk to someone..who could relate on a deeper level"
Her expression never changed and she still seemed very unsure of herself as she stepped closer to sit on the opposite side of the sofa.
"..How did you do it?..You said you have a job.. and you seem so..normal-"
"Bleh! I hate that word..You wanna know what normalcy is? It's whatever you are personally used to doing on a daily basis..I don't know about you but this," you quickly gestured to your surroundings with your hands, "isn't normal..at least not to me."
You heard a sniffle, "..I feel the same way...I just miss him so much."
"..Who?"
"Master Jin."
You tentatively reached out your hand to touch hers ever so gently. "Is it..impossible for you to ever see him again?"
She cried even harder and eventually nodded her head.
You could already understand her pain even before knowing the full story. "..Do you want to tell me what happened?"
Wiping her face with the sleeve of her shirt she looked like she wasn't going to talk. Eyes darting all over the place, you watched her intently thinking that this must be what you were like all those months ago.
"..Wh-when the announcement was made that..that we were free I didn't believe it. Master Jin was so nice, he actually asked me if I wanted to leave…I'd..never thought about my freedom…But if I had the choice..I'd choose to stay with him. Master Jin was everything to me.."
"..How long were you with him?"
"..Th-three years?..No, four."
"H-how many did you have before him?"
"..Four."
"..Was your memory wiped every time?"
She nodded her head 'yes'.
"..And what happened to master Jin?"
"..Heroes showed up..said I was free and should go with them…I didn't say anything at first. My master was handling the situation..But then..they started arguing and he was always quick to anger..He snapped and started attacking them. They fought and at some point he…he.."
You could see the pain on her face as her eyes welled up with more tears. "It's okay, you don't have to say anymore.."
"..I-I just..feel so.."
You chimed in with the only word you could think of to describe what she was possibly thinking. The same word that still haunted you. "..Lifeless.."
Her eyes widened and she finally looked at you. Realization set in, "..Yes."
You looked away from her and to the floor. "..I..I know exactly what you mean..Since you told me some of your story would you like to hear some of mine?"
She nodded her head and you gave her a soft smile as you told her some of your complicated history as a slave.
"I finally got her to open the door. We even talked for a few hours."
"That's great. What was it that made her finally let you in?"
'To be honest or not to be..that is the question.' "..I..uh..told her I missed being a slave."
Idiot, why tell him the truth?
"..And what compelled you to say that?"
"It's the truth..I..I feel like I've been biding my time until things go back to normal."
"..And by normal, you mean.."
Being used in every way possible to satisfy my masters every desire-
"..I just want to feel useful again." 'That doesn't always mean sex.'
"..What about your job? The friends you've made? Your relationship with Bakugo?"
I said every way. Yes the sex is the best part but there is so much more to love about being someones property.
'You don't have to tell me I already- Ugh, stop it! I'm getting really sick and tired of you. Why can't you just leave me alone?'
Like I said before, I am you, and I'm not going anywhere.
You closed your eyes to recollect your thoughts. Opening them slowly you remembered the question Mr. Kim just asked you. "I'm just a part time employee at a twenty-four hour convenience store, which means I'm replaceable…And I feel like I'm always messing up when it comes to Bakugo..I-I'm sure I should've waited longer to start seeing someone, but I seriously thought this would've been over by now..I've been trying to act like everybody else this entire time for the sake of getting through this but, what else can I do."
He raised an eyebrow at you, "..You think your freedom is only temporary?"
"Why wouldn't it be?"
Mr. Kim readjusted himself in his seat and gave you a questionable look. "..Why do you think you crave that lifestyle?..Is it giving up control? The fact that you don't have to make decisions therefore you're not responsible for anything?…Or is it just the sex?"
HA! Even he can see right through you.
"..Why are you calling it a lifestyle?"
"Because if you want to go back to it that badly, then you're no longer being forced to do it..You enjoy it, therefore it's technically a lifestyle by choice."
'..Woah…I..I think..he's right…I got to the point where I enjoyed it so much, that I could make the best out of the situation no matter the master…That is..until master Da- I mean, Master Touya came back into the picture. Once I was in his arms I felt..like whatever part of me that was missing was finally back where it belonged..'
You sighed heavily, looking off to the side. "..You'r right…I still want to be a slave…but only..for Master Touya."
Look who's finally being honest with herself-
'Shut the fuck up!'
"Why is that?"
'Because it's all I know, because it's what I'm used too..because I..absolutely can't stand my life as it is right now..' "When I'm with him, I feel..more like myself."
He scribbled something on his notepad. "..Do you think that's because you're mistaking his control over you for love?"
You shake your head 'no', "That's the thing..I think because of..circumstances, he has always been in a position of power, but he hasn't really held that over me since we were kids. And even though I can't recall him ever saying the words I know deep down how he really feels about me."
"And that is?" He questioned raising an eyebrow.
Stop feeding into this guy. He doesn't need to know everything.
'Just stay out of it.' "..He really likes me."
His eyebrow seemed to lift itself even higher. "..And your feelings towards him?"
"…I honestly don't know anymore."
Liar.
Christmas was finally here and you were in a really good mood. You'd found the perfect gifts for Haruhi, Cho, Bakugo, and even Mr. Kim; and could not wait to see the looks on their faces.
However there was one other person who continued to plague your thoughts.
'When we where kids it was easy because I knew everything about him. But now I..I feel like I barely know him.'
'What if..he shows up again?..What do I even say to him now that I'm dating someone?'
'What if..I never see him again?' Tears stung your eyes as they forced their way down your cheeks.
'..What does it mean if I keep crying over him?…Why can't I let him go?'
'What if everything stays like this?..'
You stood in your bathroom looking yourself over. Wearing a matching red lace bra and thong you felt so strange making the decision to do this for someone and they weren't already expecting it.
'I hope this isn't too much,' you thought looking at the makeup that took you almost an hour to perfect. '..Maybe I should've worn black-' you shook your head, 'Damnit! No, don't think about him.' Turning away from the mirror you sucked in a deep breath before letting it out through your nose.
Stepping into your bedroom you grabbed your phone off the charger and noticed a new message from Bakugo.
B: Sorry babe, something came up and I gotta stay out here a bit longer. Not sure if I'll make it tonight.
'Well that sucks..'
M: It's okay, I understand. Just text me later.
You sighed heavily and walked out to the living room, throwing yourself onto the couch and deciding to watch a movie to help take your mind off of your sexual frustration.
About halfway through the film your eyes started to drift closed, and it wasn't long before you were asleep on the sofa.
Dabi stood on the empty balcony starring through the glass that separated him from her. Mia was laying on the couch with the light from the television illuminating her barely clothed body.
He didn't intend to stay, hoping to just catch a glimpse of the woman and make sure she was okay. However he could no longer contain his curiosity. Grabbing the handle for the sliding door and noting that it was unlocked he pushed it to the side and stepped into the apartment.
Quietly he closed the distance between the patio door and the sofa and knelt down to be eye level with the woman who resided there. Now that he was close he could see that she was asleep. Dabi's eyes travelled down her body and he took in how beautiful she looked. Dressed in nothing but red lace he had to admit that the color suited her.
His hand moved on its own but he stopped it just short of her face. 'Don't do it.'
Making a fist he dropped his arm back down to his side and closed his eyes in frustration. Turning to leave he recognized the movie that was playing on the tv and stalled.
Realizing that he'd been standing there longer than necessary he walked to the balcony door. Once he had it open he took a step outside "Wait," he stilled yet again. 'Damnit, don't fuckin' turn around.' He warned himself, trying not to fall into her trap.
"..Please stay with me." Her voice sounded tired but also..sensual.
He wasn't expecting her to say that, hell he wasn't sure what to expect from her anymore. With her memories intact Dabi barely recognized her from just a year ago.
"Please, Dabi." She whispered close to his ear and he exhaled loudly before glancing back over his shoulder.
Mia was standing directly behind him and he turned to face her fully. His eyes met hers and he felt his heart race increase at her proximity.
"I need you." She whispered taking a small step closer, practically eliminating all the negative space between their bodies.
'Fuck..I need to get away from her.' "..You don't need me, you've got that hero to come save you now." He said with a bitter tone.
Mia sighed and looked to the ground before returning her gaze to him. "..What do you want to hear?..What can I say that will make you stay? What can I do to keep you from walking out that door?..He's not you, he doesn't compare..no one compares to you Master Dabi."
'When you say shit like that..it makes it impossible for me to leave.'
She pouted and continued, "..Can't you see how miserable I am."
'..Could've fooled me,' he thought looking down at her choice of attire once more. "Isn't this," he said using his hand to gesture at her lack of clothing, "for him?"
She averted her gaze, her face showing her obvious embarrassment. "..Then why do you keep showing up? If you don't want me then-"
"I never said I didn't want you..I asked you to wait the last time didn't I?" 'Damn woman can't follow simple instructions anymore.'
Nodding her head she slowly looked up at him. Her eyes gave away so much that it was hard to tell what he was supposed to focus on.
"..Dabi ar-are you..in love with me?"
He kept his composure as she starred, unblinking into his eyes, waiting for an answer. '..Wh-..Ho-..Fuck! How the hell do I answer that?'
It's real simple you tell her the truth. Tell her you've loved her since you were thirteen-
'I'm not about to spill my guts like that.'
Well you better say something before she thinks you hate her.
After what felt like five minutes he slowly turned his back to her, missing how her eyes widened at his initial rejection.
Grabbing the handle for the sliding glass door, he pushed until it collided with the wall and quickly turned back to Mia. His hand went around the back of her neck and pulled her towards him until his lips crashed into hers. Her response was immediate as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed him back.
That wasn't exactly a spoken confession.
'..I'll tell her later.'
You could feel tears stinging your eyes as your lips moved with his. It was more from relief than anything else but, his response made you so happy. 'He loves me..I mean he still didn't say it himself, but..what else could a kiss like this possibly mean.'
Dabis hand held you in place as he continued to ravage your mouth, biting your bottom lip to gain access to your tongue.
Moaning into the kiss you slid your hands up and over his shoulders. Moving your hands up his chest you pushed his already open shirt down his arms. With his upper body completely exposed your hands moved over his chest. Touching every inch of skin, feeling the different textures, the contrast, the way each staple dug into his flesh.
This was far from your first time touching the blue flame user in such a way. However this was the first time it made you feel this..giddy. Something about the way he kissed you this time was different. The way it made you feel was different. You felt like there was literally no one else in the entire universe except for you and Dabi. It was quite the intoxicating sensation.
Pulling away from him you couldn't help the smile that lit your face. He grabbed the back of your thighs and lifted you into his arms. Your hands gripped his shoulders and you looked down at his face.
With a mischievous grin he walked you to your bedroom. You continued to stare at him as he laid you down on the mattress. Wanting to say something but not wanting to risk him disappearing you stayed quiet.
He hovered above you and your hand moved to caress his cheek. His eyes widened slightly at your gentle gesture and you smiled at the villain.
Saying nothing you pulled him back down to your level and kissed him passionately. 'I know that you won't stay..but please..don't let this be the last time..'
It was starting to snow outside. Even so you stood on the roof of your apartment building watching the clouds release their light flakes to the world below.
"There you are." Came a familiar voice from behind you.
Not bothering to turn around you respond with a, "Hey Cho."
"Damn its cold. What are you doing up here?" She asked stopping to stand next to you.
"..Just..thinking."
"..You do that a lot."
"..Sorry.."
"Nothing to be sorry about. Actually I was looking for you to see if you wanted to go with me to this club tonight."
"..What kinda club?"
"Just a typical dance club."
'She says that like I've been to one before..' "..I-I don't think I'm comfortable dancing in front of other people-"
"It's not like everyone is going to be watching you on a stage. They'll be dancing too, besides you'll never be ready for anything if you don't try…Come on, what's the worst that could happen?"
'So many things..' "..I don't think I have anything to wear."
You stood awkwardly next to Cho dressed in a black halter jumpsuit that draped low around your breasts and left your back completely exposed. Of course, due to the cold weather you wore a winter puffer coat over your top half, but the thin material of your jumpsuit left the rest of your body to feel the effects of the dropping temperatures.
After showing your ID's to the bouncer Cho grabbed your arm and practically dragged you into the dance club. Dropping off your coats, you guys made your way to the bar.
Your eyes wandered the room as you could barely hear what Cho was ordering because of how loud the music was. Starring at the crowded dance floor all you could make out was a mass amount of bodies moving in time with the music.
"Mia!" Cho yelled into your ear. You turned and grabbed the overflowing cup from her outstretched a sip you enjoyed the sweet beverage and proceeded to take seasoned sips. "Come on," said Cho grabbing your free hand and dragging you to the dance floor.
You made it back to your apartment in one piece, however the alcohol was definitely taking over your body as you swayed to the music still pounding in your head. Humming loudly while you slipped out of your shoes and stepped into the kitchen to grab some water.
Turning away from the fridge with a cold bottle now in your hands you flinched spotting a tall dark figure standing in the middle of your apartment. Sobering up instantly you yelled, completely surprised by the this new unsettling presence.
With a single finger pressed against his lips he shushed you, like an adult would a crying child. "Shh, calm down Mia. You wouldn't want to wake your neighbor, Miss Haruhi, now would you?"
'What the? How does he know my name? And how does he know Haruhi?' You gave him a once over, noting that he was very tall and wearing a dark suit. The only features you could make out were his lightly tanned skin and his mouth, which was the only part of his face you could see in the dark room.
Raising an eyebrow at the man you calmed down only a little bit since he wasn't directly threatening you or trying to get closer. "..I don't recognize you."
"We've never met before tonight, but everyone calls me All For One."
'Weird name, but if I had to guess it's something to do with his quirk.' "..Then w-who sent you?"
"Hn, I guess you could call him a mutual acquaintance..by the name of Dabi."
That was a surprise to hear. 'Why would he send this guy when he always comes himself?' You thought setting the bottle of water on the counter. "Really?..Why'd he send you?"
"This really isn't the time for questions, we need to leave now." He held a hand out to you, prompting you to take it.
Shaking your head you responded, "No..something about this doesn't feel right. I'm not going anywhere with you." You said trying to be stern.
His hand dropped back down to his side and he smiled, but it was far from friendly looking. "..Aren't you adorable."
You blinked and he was no longer in front of the kitchen counter. Instead he was standing in the small space behind you as he continued to speak. "But I wasn't giving you a choice."
Eyes widened and you went to step back and put some distance between you, but you felt his hand touch your shoulder. The fear that ran through you was enough to stall your movements. That is, until you realized how tired you felt.
You'r eyelids suddenly felt much heavier than they did a minute ago and your body was beginning to sway as you turned to run but fell face first into the floor, unconscious.
