6:00 P.M.
Afton household.
It was dinner time when a white jeep pulled into the driveway of the Afton house. Clover, Sam, Marvin, and Michael were starting to cook dinner when the doorbell rang. Sam pulled the door open, and was tackled by Alex, followed in by Martin, Dianna, Java, Billy, and the gang's bosses.
"SAM! CLOVER! I MISSED YOU GUYS!" Alex cried out, hugging Sam tightly. Sam returned the hug, but also tried to pull her off.
"Hi Alex. Can you get off me please? You're squishing me."
"OH! Sorry…" Alex sheepishly got up off the floor.
Martin then waltzed in, uncharacteristically disheveled and dragging a suitcase. They all looked worse for wear. Martin then shaked hands with Michael.
"Evening Mike. You don't mind if we all stay the night here do you?"
"Not at all! You all arrived as we were making dinner. Hamburgers and Fries, homemade and barbecued! Please, kick back and settle yourselves in, take a load off. Good lord knows we all need it after everything the past couple of days." Mike answered, putting some fries into the oven.
"Thanks, Mike." Martin replied, thankful for the good dinner being made to take his mind off the thoughts plaguing his, Dianna's and Alex's minds. All three looked like they hadn't slept in days.
After dinner, which included a prank on Dianna involving a wind up rat toy, the crew went to the guest room and the bedroom of Mike's late younger brother, Evan and sister, Elizabeth, and Mike's old bedroom. The crew was briefed on the 'Bite of '83'. This room was given to Martin, Dianna, and Alex. The rest took the other spare bedrooms.
12:00 A.M.
Martin heard a noise down the hall, and woke up the girls. It was a noise that was most DEFINITELY NOT HUMAN. It sounded like an animal turned demonic.
"*nngh* *mm* *moan.* Wha…? What is it babe?" Alex was clearly still sleep-addled when she was woken up.
"Shh. I didn't want to wake you up babe, but I think we have a case of the Hallway Stalkers."
"Ugh. Martin, first off, why did you wake us up for this, and second, what are these 'Hallway Stalkers?'" Dianna retorted, clearly having had a rude awakening.
"Di', to answer your questions, one: I heard something down the hall, and two, they were in the latest edition of this week's Paranormal Monthly. Now shush, I hear something."
The three pressed their ears against the door, and clearly DID hear animal-like sounds down a hall. Demonic animal-like sounds akin to breathing.
"Uhhh! I think we're in trouble." Dianna whispered. "What do we do?"
All of a sudden, they heard footsteps moving away from the door.
"Nothing apparently." Alex broke the silence that ensued when the animatronics left. "Well, le-"
Movement in the corner of their eyes from the closet they stored their spare clothes and suitcases.
"Uh, can someone keep an eye on the door?" Martin inched closer to the closet. Inch by inch, nerves alarming him to the danger they were in. He peeked at the alarm clock: 3:00 A.M.
Reaching the closet door, he turned on his flashlight. Faster than he thought possible, he immediately slammed the door, where Foxy was clearly trying to get out.
Only… this Foxy was much worse for wear than the one in the pizzeria: The fangs were MUCH sharper, clearly intended to eat someone; ripping flesh from bone, and shattering through said bone to reach the marrow inside. His eyes glowed brightly with a demonic shade of crimson red. His costume was falling apart at the seams, revealing a terrifying model of endoskeleton. And he was roaring quite loudly, aiming to attack the teens and young adults.
Everyone screamed at the top of their lungs. "GIRLS! HELP ME!" Martin yelled at them, struggling to keep Foxy in the closet. Dianna and Alex moved to help him, but Dianna stopped short, shining her flashlight on the bed they were sleeping in. What she saw was horrifying: Three bear shaped objects with a likeness of their faces, jittering at them. Their faces, mixed with Freddy's face, and the same hellish features as Foxy.
With no to watch the door, Bonnie and Chica moved towards them, intent on killing them. The creepy bear things formed into a demon Freddy from the bed also rearing to kill. The clock read 5:00 A.M. The kids were huddled together in a makeshift barricade. All of a sudden, the barricade moved to reveal what can only be a scene straight from Hell: A bear face black as night, eyes red as blood. A gold bowtie and tophat. Fangs ready to kill. Emitting the most horrifying voice, they saw that this bear was SEE THROUGH, revealing a HUMAN BRAIN!
All of a sudden, 6:00 A.M. struck on the alarm clock, causing Martin, Dianna, and Alex to jolt out of bed in a cold sweat.
Breathing heavy, Martin broke the awkward silence from having experienced the exact same nightmare as everyone. "Is it just me, or is there something else going on here?"
"You mean, besides having the same nightmare as my brother?"
"And seeing demon versions of the robots we saw earlier?"
"~It's because of my family.~" A new voice sounded in their ears and minds, ethereal as the heavens, soft as a mouse. The voice of a ghost. The voice of a haunted kid.
The three looked around, noticing first that outside the window, birds and cars, and early risers were not moving. Around the room, their eyes rested on the unmistakable form of a ghost child: Brown hair, blue jeans, black shirt with gray stripes. His eyes told a story of endless sorrow, tear stains on his cheeks attesting to it. Inexplicably, the others materialized into the room, equally confused as to what's going on. However, they were being projected by the ghost to each other, not in a physical sense.
"~E-Evan? I-i-is that you?~" Michael was astonished seeing his long dead brother. The brother he bullied, ultimately leading to Evan's demise, and Michael's change of heart.
"~Okay. Creepy ghost kid? Check. Ghosts of our friends? Check. Family used to live here? Check. Yep, this place is haunted." Clover sarcastically remarked.
"~Java no like ghosts!~" Java was scared, and rightfully so.
Evan threw his hands up placatingly. "~Calm down everyone. I only wish to talk. Yes, I'm Evan Afton - or rather I was. I was the victim of the 'Bite of 1983.' Avenge me. Avenge them. Destroy him. And Michael, I'm glad you became better.~"
He vanished. Everyone met up in person to discuss the events that just transpired. They walked into the dining room, and silence ensued.
Martin broke the silence. "What. Just. Happened?" No one spoke up for a while.
