63. A new approach

hello and welcome to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla! Today were back with the next chapter of volume 7 as the gang is in chains thanks to the Ace ops. Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The gang have finally made to Atlas. But everything seems off as they leard that the kingdom is under heavy military control more so in Mantle. They head into Mantle to hide out with Maria friend Pietro. There they met his daugther Ikuno that Hiro team reconize as one of their own from there old world and her Digimon Tentomon. Taht when Pietro recognize Team Rwby as friends of his other daugther as they gang head out to face a group of Grimm attacking the city. They appear to be over run until they gotten help from a forgotten friend Penny. The newly reborn robot girl greet her friends as she was to take care of more Grimm. But then the gang were arrested by the Ace ops and were taken to who know where.

A new approach

Normal Pov: While the Tamers were being arrested they were being watch. Kneeling on a building edge was none other then Renamon younger sister Vupimon. She smirk. "It appear there it quite the situation." She said as she got up. She started to run across the rooftops of Mantle to reach her destination, a old ware house on the edge of the city. Once inside she saw her Tamer Angela and the rest of the Dusk bringers. "Ah Vupimon welcome back, found anything interesting to share?" Angela ask. "I have Angie, the Tamers are here in Mantle." Vupimon said. "Well about damn time, I was getting bored waiting. Let go say hello." Drake said as he polish his sword. "That won't be easy, they were just arrested by Atlas special ops." Vupimon said with her arms cross. Angela grab her chin. "With mean they will be taken to Atlas." She said. "And there goes any chance of taking that lamp from them." Ichigo said. "Quite true, from what we learn Atlas academy is the most guarded location in all of Atlas right." Hawkmon said. "True, I doubt we could walk in there even if we pose as students." Tristen said.

"We won't have to, you forgot about dear Cinder." Anegla said. as she smirk. "You mean that creepy chick we met in Mistral?" Aiko ask. "Indeed, she and her new partner Neo are working on a plan to obtain the lamp for mother." Angela said. "Speaking of your mom, when are we going to meet the woman, we are working for. I mean we have no idea of who she even is." Drake said. "My mother is under a lot of stress right now because of my brother betrayal and the failure at Haven. So, it best to avoid her for now." Angela said. "If you say so Angie. So, what our plan?" Mira ask as she sat on a crate with Gomamon in her lap. "We 1st wait for Watts and Tyrian to join us, the doctor will explain how we'll take down Atlas." She said. Takato Pov: And once again our luck turns to shit. We got to Mantle to keep a low profile but ended up stopping a Grimm attack. We found out that our robot friend Penny was back and then got arrested by the Atlas Ace ops. From what Jerico told us they are Alas special forces. Right now, were o an airship to Atlas.

"Man, this sucks." Teepo said as he was tie to Elize wrist. "Get use to it spud." I said. "Where do you think they are taking us?" Ruby ask. "Most likely to jail." Ryo said. "I don't wanna go to jail." Yui cry as she curl into Asuna side ad the brunette comfort her daughter. "Don't worry sweetie I'm sure that going to happen me and your Papa will protect you." Asuna said. "That right, honestly arresting a little girl, I'm so giving these assholes a piece of my mind." Kirito said. "No I'm too pretty for jail!" Rina shout. "You probably be fine Rina, but I'm sure Keisuke won't." Jerico said with a grin. The hacker boy turn to Jerico to glare at him. "What the hell is that suppose to mean?" He ask. "Your going to ended up as somebody prison bitch for sure by the end of the first day." He said. "What I will not!" Keisuke shout. "Keisuke I love you and all, but we both know that you wouldn't last long in there." Erika said as he sulk. "I still can't believe that fishing pole guy took all of us down like it was nothing, I mean there are over a dozen of us." Jaune said. "He got lucky, if we weren't tire from fighting the Grimm he wouldn't got the drop on us!" Zoey shout. "Seriously not the welcome I was expecting." Futoshi said. "Welcome to Atlas, those were Ironwood Ace ops." Weiss said.

"You guys had a run in with the Ace ops?" The guy next to us ask. "We have why?" I ask. "Ironwood must really have a bone to pick with you." He said. "There not that big of a deal." Weiss said. "Not that big of a deal! The Ace ops are the elite of the elite military huntsmen and Ironwood personal attack dogs." He said. "So, they got you too huh?" Nora ask. The man scoff. "I wouldn't let myself get caught by them." He said. "Then why are you here?" Miku ask. "I'm here because I been speaking out against Atlas exploitation of Mantle and General Ironwood is trying to silence me!" He shout. "You threw a brick at our ship jackass." The pilot said. "It worth it if it get the people talking about our cause!" He shout. "Our cause?" Blake ask. "Yes, the fight for better conditions in Mantle lead by the charismatic, talented, lovely Robyn Hill and her happy huntresses!" He shout as the pilot put a glass window. "They were all top Atlas Academy graduates who could have got into the military. but Robyn and the huntresses chose to stay in Mantle. She is gunning for a seat on the kingdom council. When she get it she going to put an end to Ironwood tyranny." He said as he made a fool of himself.

"Happy huntresses?" Oscar ask. "Is that even a real name?" Yang ask. "Don't you think tyranny is a little dramatic?" Weiss ask. "I think your over selling it." Alice said. The man glare at Weiss. "Easy to say for a Schee Heiress." He said. Koga got up. "Best watch what you talk about her or else." He growl. The ship rise above Atlas. "Woah, it so gorgeous up here." Ruby said. "It sure is." Argo said. "Don't let it fool you." Weiss said. We soon land at a large tower. "This isn't the police station, it Atlas academy." The man doors open as we set out. I look at the building and let out a whistle. "Who want to bet Ironwood is consummating for something." I said as the guy laughs. "Classy." Erika said. The guard gesture us to go inside. "I guess we will be seeing the general." Ruby said. "Let hope it goes well." Rika said as we went inside. We got in a elevator." So, what do we do?" Ren ask. "I don't know yet." Ruby said. "Just in case watch what you say." I said as the lift stop and we got out. We walk through a large hallway with a skylight. We soon came to a large office. There we see Penny, Winter and Ironwood. Ironwood look at us.

"Winter!" Weiss shout. "Anyone wanna give us a hand with these?" Nora ask as she held up her cuff. "You could haven't ask me." I said as I Twirl my around my finger. "How did you?" Oscar ask. "Fun fact kid, watch the hands not the mouth." I said with a smirk. Winter straighten up. "You have 10 seconds to take those off of them before I start hurting you. One of them is a child for brothers sake." She said as the guards panics to free the others. We went to Ironwood. "It so good to see all of you." Ironwood said. "Our reception didn't really covey that." Yang said. "I agreed." I said. Ironwood sigh. "I sincerely regret how my team treated you your highness. When a rouge airship enter our air space." He said as he head to his desk. "It raise some red flags. We assume the ship was stolen." He said. Ruby look nervous. "That our bad." I said. "You stole an Atlas airship!" Winter shout as Weiss. "In our defense we didn't have much of a choice, your pal Cordovin was being a bitch." Rika said.

"What were you thinking, you could have shot down. How unbelievable." Winter said as Weiss hug her. "I'm Sorry, I worried you but we did what we have to do." Weiss said. Winter sigh as she hug her sister. "I suppose I can understand." She said as she glare at Qrow. "I can't believe you let this happen Qrow!" She shout. "You try stopping these kids when they have their minds set on something." He said. "Any way General There some important info for you that confidential." He said. "Oh is it about the relic?" Penny ask. "Or perhaps the winter Maiden?" Winter ask. "You told them?" Qrow ask. Ironwood hm as he pull out the lamp. "You really thing you were the only one who got to work on a new plan after what happen to Beacon. With Ozpin gone, I needed my own team of people I could trust. So, yes I told them , the Ace ops too. Which is why I'm so glad your here with this." He said as he gesture to the lamp. "Until now I believe it was impossible to truly turn the tide against Salem. Oz has push her back, had victory out of her claws. But she will keep returning unless we destroy her." He said darkly. "What about Atlas relic?" I ask.

"You mean the staff of creation, it safe inside the vault." Penny said. "And the winter Maiden?" Qrow ask. "She is secure and in stable condition." Winter said. "Stable condition?" Erika ask. "Well, she no spring chicken." Qrow said. "Well as long as she safe. It all that matter, at least then she can help us move the relic out of Atlas." I said. "Out of Aylas, how do you mean?" Ironwood ask. "I have an idea to keep the relics out of Salem hands forever. But we need to gather them first." I said. "You can't simply take the relic your highness, it safer here." Winter said. "Doubt that lady, Salem made grabs for them at both Beacon and Haven, it only a matter of time before she do the same here." Kirito said. "Even so, it for the best. I know how this looks, recalling my forces, the embargo? I probably don't seen the most trust worthy right now." He said. "Then why do it at all?" Hiro ask. "The people of Mantle are hurting." Nora said. "I needed to ensure Salem couldn't infiltrate Atlas and I wanted my military here to protecting my people." Ironwood said. "But it not protecting them!" Yang shout. "It making them hate you." Ryo said.

Ironwood sigh. "It a price I'm willing to pay." He said as he tap his desk. "Just as you all have been entrusted with the knowledge of Salem existence." He said as the windows were cover. "I need you all to trust me. I have a plan." He said as the floor under us start to rise as we move. It open up to reveal a table. "Ozpin believe the best way to fight Salem was to do it in secret. Whether that was the right choice or not isn't for me to say. But we find ourselves i the position of needing, well a new approach." He said. "And what do you suggest?" Qrow ask. Ironwood press a button as a hologram appear over the table. "That Amity colosseum." Jaune said. "It where the Vytal festival was held." Elize said. "Indeed, when Beacon fell and everyone on Remnant lost contact with one another. I knew our current system was outdated. Amity was built to bring the nations togethers and it will serve that purpose once again." Ironwood said as a tower appear on top of Amity. "Isn't it great, were not just replacing Beacon tower, but building a new tower on top of Amity colosseum will reestablish global Communiations." Penny said.

"By launching the tower high into the atmosphere, Our scientist believe we can create a sort of satellite out of reach of the Grimm and capable of maintaining global communications even if we lose another tower." Winter said. "It quite Ingenius." Alice said. "That is great." Ruby said. "James you don't need the entire military for this." Qrow said. "I will for the next part when I finally tell the people about Salem." He said. "What!" Kenji shout shock. "So, that why you recall your men." I said. "To handle the panic you will cause in Atlas." Rika said. "Yes panic is inevitable and panic will bring Grimm. But I believe we are ready. Once Atlas had come to grips with the fight ahead, I will use Amity tower to spread the message to all of Remnant." He said. "But everything will fall apart, Grimm will be every where.!" Weiss shout. "Your right, but Atlas is willing and prepare to assist." Winter said. "Trying to hide the truth from the world will eventually kill us all." He said as he turn the hologram off. "Ozpin pent his whole life, many lives keeping this secret." Qrow said.

"I know but since Beacon things changes. With out him to guide us." He said as he walk around. "All I can do is trust my best judgement." Ironwood said. Oscar step up. "Actually Oz isn't completely gone." He said nervously. "Oscar here is the next Ozpin." Qrow said. Ironwood smile and went to Oscar. "Oz I'm so glad your here I didn't think you." He said. "Not quite, he kind of gone for the moment." Oscar said. Ironwood shake his head. "That not normal, how did he?" He ask. "Were not sure." I said lying to him. "We were in a train clash and ever since well suddenly Oz was gone." Ruby said. "Were still trying to find out why." Rika said. "That the worst news yet." Iron wood said as he got up. "Did you learn anything from him about the relic before?" He ask. "He told us that the lamp can answer 3 questions." Ruby said. "But the question are all use up." Goro said. "Right, right." Ironwood said as he walk to the window. "Ozpin told us that too once about time. As least we have you Oscar. Your safe here in Atlas. Maybe together we can figure out how to bring Ozpin back." Ironwood said. "Thankyou general." Oscar said. Ironwood grab the lamp and gave it to Ruby.

"Your giving it back to us?" Ruby ask. "After what happen with the Ace ops, I don't want you to think I'm keeping anything from you, most of all this." he said. "Thank you." She said as she hook the lamp to her belt. "We must work together if were to fight Salme and win. Now if your all on board?' He ask. I nod to Ruby. "Tell us how we can help?" She ask. "Good, because getting the Amity tower ready to launch Won't be easy, But 11st things we need to get those weapons of yours up to our standards." Ironwood said as a video of Blake play as she look embarrass. "Remember this is Atlas, while assisting the military, we will give you our best equipment. Our scientism can devise." Winter said as we all cheer. We soon exit the office to see the Ace Ops. "I like to sincerely apolopize for the miscommunication down in Mantle." The leader said. as he was cut off by the large woman who was shaking Ruby. "I feel so bad, most of all with Marrow putting the little one in cuffs." She said. "Hey I was doing my job ok." The dog Faunus said. He look to Yui. "Sorry about that by the way." he said as he bow.

"You forgiven mister." She said. 'Honestly if we had know who you were, we be laughing over a hot meal right now." She said. "It alright." i said as I help Ruby up with Kenji. "I'm Clover, these are Elm, Vine, Harriet and Marrow. We wanted to say were sorry and wanting to work with on your next mission. You might be students, but you been fighting as hard as we have.." Clover said. "It exactly why I'm looking forward to seeing what you kids can do." Harriet said. 'Come on let show you around the campus." Penny said as she pop up. "Look like things are finally looking up for us." Rika said. "let hope it stay like that." I said as we follow the Ace Ops.
